As smartphone enthusiasts across regions are bracing themselves for the launch of iQOO 11 Pro soon, the key specifications recently surfaced online via an unexpected leak.

One of the popular internet gadget leakster indicated all that is to be expected of the latest iQOO device in a tweet. It is believed that the all new handset will have a 6.78″ 2K LTPO, 120Hz display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC processor, 8/12GB RAM and 256/512GB storage.

The suggested features revealed online highlighted the inclusion of triple rear cameras led by a 50-megapixel main sensor. The 50-megapixel main sensor is believed to be supported by a 50-megapixel ultra-wide sensor and a 14.6-megapixel telephoto sensor. A 16-megapixel sensor at the front is also likely to be found for selfies and video chats.

As per the leaked specification, the handset could carry a V2 chip along with an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor for biometrics. Moreover, the device is most likely to be supported by a 4,700mAh battery and offer support for 200W fast charging.

As for the launch of the smartphone, Vivo is yet to announce an official date for the launch of the smartphone.

In other news, iQOO Neo 7 with MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ SoC and 50 Megapixel Rear Camera was launched in China on Thrusday. It is a gaming focused smartphone and is supported by up to 12GB of RAM and a maximum of 512GB of onboard storage. It also packs a 5,000 mAh battery along with extra support for 120W flash charging. Positioned as their latest flagship smartphone, iQOO Neo 7 is hitting the market in three different colour options. Samsung is expected to soon come up with next flagship offering in the Galaxy series. With the launch of Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+ and Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra lined up, the tradition of leaking renders online continues. This is allegedly the second updated render leak for Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra on Twitter within the gap of one month. On the lines of previous leaks, these renders also reveal rounded corners, slim bezels and a 6.8-inch display.

The design upgrades as per the latest leaked renders is minimal when compared to the last Galaxy S22 model. The successor is now believed to have a thinner metal frame but carried a S22 style chin of similarly-size at the bottom of the screen. The renders leaked before this latest leak had shown a slimmer chin at the bottom as compared to the last launch Galaxy S22.

The first renders that were leaked last month showed a rear camera layout almost identical to Galaxy S22 Ultra with a centrally-placed hole-punch cutout. It also showed the traditional power button on the right side along with the volume rocker. The Galaxy S23 model also believed to have a regular SIM tray, an S Pen slot, speaker grille at the bottom and charging port. For the display size, the company might go with the 163.4 x 78.1 x 8.8 mm. As per the rumours, these Smartprix leaks in association with the internet popular leakster Steve H.McFly (@OnLeaks) were said to have come out well ahead of the scheduled time.

Some good news for Instagram users! The block feature is finally getting relevant upgrades and becoming more robust.

The popular photo & video-sharing social networking platform is now coming up with upgrades that will make blocking abusive account holders easier. As per the latest official Instagram blog post, now when a user is blocking one account they will have the option of blocking other accounts that the same user may already have. This small feature will ensure that the abusive user once blocked cannot interact through their other account also.

In its quest to provide more safeguards to its users against hateful and abusive interactions, last year Instagram released an update that made blocking new accounts of an old user easier. Last year’s update also facilitated

“Based on initial test results from this new change, we expect our community will need to block 4 million fewer accounts every week since these accounts will now be blocked automatically,” Instagram stated in a blog post.

The social media company also highlighted the improvements being made to its Hidden Words features specifically designed for the Creator’s account holders. The feature protects users from facing scammy message requests or witnessing offensive stories.

The blog post revealed that since making the Hidden Words feature live on the platform, more than one in five big influencer accounts on the platform has switched on the feature. Switching on the Hidden Words feature on their account gives power to the account holders. It ensures account holders “see 40% fewer comments that might be offensive,” on average.

Interestingly, the Hidden Words feature has now also extended to several other new languages. These include many widely used regional and international languages such as Farsi, Russian, Turkish, Bengali, Marathi, Telugu and Tamil.

The platform undoubtedly received enough encouragement from the positive results of the Hidden Words feature for them to work on the expansion of the feature. Instagram is also contemplating switching the feature automatically for all creator accounts.

Revealing more about the Hidden Words feature, the blog post mentioned various other improvements that the company is planning. It includes “improving our filtering to spot and hide more intentional misspellings of offensive terms, for instance, if someone uses a “1” instead of an “i”. And Adding new terms to filter message requests that might contain scams or spam. We’ll start doing this in English in certain countries, with more languages and countries coming soon.”

In addition to this, the company is also working on expanding the reach of its very interesting Nudge feature. The Nudge feature encourages more and more users to pause and reflect while using the platform. The idea is to encourage the users to be more respectful in DMs and comments, reminding them that there is a real person sitting on the other side of the screen. This is facilitated by nudging the users before they write something hurtful or offensive to others on the app.

At present, the nudge feature is live for those who are using Instagram in English, Portuguese, Spanish, French, Chinese or Arabic. And the company has lined up a global release of the feature in the coming weeks.
