The latest addition to Vivo V-Series smartphones is the elegant Vivo V27 Pro. Introduced as a successor to the previous V-series model, the Vivo V27 Pro price in India is starting from Rs 37,999.
Vivo V27 Pro comes with a 6.78 inches 3D curved AMOLED display, MediaTek Dimensity 8200 MT6896Z chipset, a Triple Camera model on the backside including a 50MP primary camera, a 50MP Front Camera, 8GB RAM, 4500mAh Fast Charging enabled battery and Android v12 OS.
Vivo, retaining the uniqueness of its previous V-Series smartphones, has continued with the stylish colour-changing glass back panels for Vivo V27 Pro as well.
The smartphones are currently available in two colour variants, Magic Blue and Nobel Black.
Scheduled to go on sale from 23 March 2023, Vivo V27 Pro is available for pre-booking starting 1st March 2023 across offline and online stores.

Vivo V27 Pro – Unboxing
We get the Vivo V27 Pro in a stylish rectangle silver colour cover box with typical Vivo branding on the top.
As soon as we open the packaging box, we get the Vivo V27 Pro device neatly placed on top. Further, inside the box, we get a transparent TPU case, a quick start guide, different brand documentation, an 80W flash charge adapter, an 8A-rated USB-A-to-C cable and a stylish SIM ejecting tool.
It is important to note that although we get an 80W charger inside the box with Vivo V27 Pro, the smartphone however only supports 66W charging.
Another aspect instantly noticeable is that the smartphone comes with a pre-applied thin screen protective film to keep the device safe until a proper screen guard is applied.

The Vivo V27 Pro sports a classy appearance with minimalist aesthetics and a curved display design.
The smartphone has a slim, lightweight, smooth design that is enhanced by its one-piece narrow frame. V27 Pro’s sleek body is merely 2.3 mm thin and complemented with the curved display, the smartphone glides in hands smoothly.
The smartphone is available in two colour variants, Magic Blue and Nobel Black.
The interesting design aspect that immediately catches our attention when we hold Vivo V27 Pro in our hands is the colour-changing back panel.
The Magic Blue colour variant back panel looks uber cool when it changes colour from light to dark blue in different light conditions and angles. Similarly, the Noble Black colour variant back panel changes its colour from the starry night sky to flickering light grey.
Moreover, the texture of the glass-build back panel gives a smooth and premium feel. The smartphone, further, has a set of speakers at the bottom along with a Type C port and a SIM tray. The volume rockers are on the right side with the power button next to them.
The design of Vivo V27 Pro also stands out because of its fluid camera layout that gives a sleek, attractive overall look to the smartphone.

The display of the Vivo V27 Pro is definitely one of the major highlights of the smartphone. The 6.78 inches 3D curved AMOLED display comes with a 120Hz refresh rate and 20:9 aspect ratio.
This capacitive touchscreen with multi-touch functionality provides a highly premium viewing experience. Moreover, the 60° curvature of the front ensures a perfectly comfortable grip on the hands.
However, many users may find the large display size a bit of a problem in a one-hand operation.
The display also bears full high-definition plus (1,080 x 2,400) resolution, Widevine L1 certification, HDR10+ support, 388 ppi pixel density and a 90.42 per cent Screen-to-Body Ratio.

This is one of the high-end chipsets in the market today and with a clock speed of 3.1GHz and an ARM Mali-G610 MC6 GPU, the performance of Vivo V27 Pro is extremely satisfying.
The chipset has been combined with 8GB / 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB / 256GB UFS 3.1 storage for optimum performance.
The non-expandable storage is definitely a downer even though the smartphone supports up to 8GB of virtual RAM to cater for some storage requirements when needed.
Vivo V27 Pro is the 2nd smartphone after iQ00 Neo 7 to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chipset. The chipset has good performance.

Vivo V27 Pro comes with a 4,600mAh battery support, which as per the brand’s claim can comfortably last for a day on average use.
On the PCMark battery test, V27 Pro scored well over 15 hours. Compared to several other smartphones in the category, this appears to be quite impressive.
The smartphone, although comes with a bundled 80W adapter, supports 66W fast flash charge. As per the brand’s claim, it would take a little less than an hour to fully charge the smartphone from 0 to 100 per cent and 19 minutes to move from 1 to 50 per cent.
The battery of Vivo V27 Pro also has a 2x Battery Lifespan, 24-Dimension Security Protection, and a Vivo Smart Charging Engine.

Recently, Vivo’s sub-brand iqoo has also launched a smartphone with the same chipset, but the benchmark scores of Vivo V27 Pro are better. This means you get better performance with Vivo V27 Pro 5G.
The smartphone comes with up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. It will be available in 3 storage variants, and it doesn’t have a micro SD card slot.
Coming to the software, the Vivo V27 Pro 5G runs Funtouch OS 13 based on Android 13. The device comes with a little bloatware but that can be deleted as per your needs.
Vivo has added some new features to the FunTouch OS this time. These include iManager, more options for video editing, and Material You coming with matching color schemes according to wallpapers.
The color of app icons can also be changed along with new options for battery privacy, personalization, and more.
Vivo V27 Pro Audio
Audio while calling is good as the speaker of the Vivo V27 Pro sounds loud. You can play music on it in one room and keep working nearby.
However, if you are someone who still likes to listen to music the old-fashioned way using wired headphones, you will not find a 3.5mm headphone jack on this one. You will either have to get a connector or use Bluetooth headphones.

The Vivo V27 Pro faces a direct comparison with the V25 Pro launched last year. And in overall specs, V27 Pro is definitely an upgraded better version.
V27 Pro comes with a bigger and better screen, an improved camera module, and a noticeable premium appearance. Performance-wise too, Vivo V27 Pro scores big and manages to provide an impressive premium smartphone experience.
The camera functionality complements the smartphone well and will prove to be something that photo enthusiasts will surely appreciate. Although, the lack of any ingress protection is a major drawback.
