0
Nothing Phone (1)

Regardless of weird the name “Nothing” sounds to you, you cannot deny the buzz that this phone generated in the past few months. Created by Carl Pei’s tech brand the “Nothing Phone (1)” has hit the markets now and is in the hands of the customers.

Despite all of its positive reviews, buyers have noted several problems and bugs.

Let us look at the major issues reported by customers in this article.

The Green tint problem

A user reported that his Nothing Phone (1) was showing a green-colored tint while using dark mode. The green tint is a part of the problem with the display of the phone. It is a common issue that is seen in phones that are a bit cheaper.

With all the hype that Nothing created during the pre-launch, it is undoubtedly a turn-off for the customers. There are no updates as of now from the manufacturer’s side regarding the issue.

The Dead pixel problem

A consumer from India has stated that the pixels (the color unit) on display have turned black several hours after their use. It is caused due to a broken transistor.  The main reason for this is said to be a manufacturing defect.

The company has not answered for this defect until now. Since it is a hardware defect, the only alternative left is to change the display fully.

Dampness under the back camera

Another customer complained that his phone seems to have moisture locked under its back camera. It is detrimental to the long usage of the phone.

However, the company has been quick to solve the issue. They arranged for returning the defective piece and replaced the customer with a brand new phone.

Other than the hardware problems, several software problems such as

  • Bluetooth connectivity issue
  • Lagging during the use

Were also been identified by the users.

In case you bought a Nothing Phone (1) and face such issues, contact customer support and try getting it resolved as soon as possible.

oppo watch 3

But what is new is that it will be the first smartwatch to come with the new Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 and W5+ wearable chipsets, which are made by Qualcomm and were launched by the latter on 20 July, 2022.

Mere hours later the news regarding the launch of Oppo Watch 3 was made public that has left the users in a state of suspense and anticipation and they can’t wait for the big day to arrive.

Franco Li, Associate Vice President of Oppo and President of loT Business, officially announced that Oppo Watch 3 will be powered by Snapdragon W5 and launched sometime in August but also added that Watch 3 will be a series, which means there are more models in the offing.

Mr. Li has made it clear that W5 platform will debut with at least one of the smartwatches in an actual product but did not give specific details whether said product will be launched globally or not although he has high hopes that it will be loved by all.

Rumours abound that they will be three Oppo Watch 3 models that’ll all have a high screen to body ratio and square designs with numerous colour options like black, silver, gold, etc. but since no official statement has been given in this regard, one can only wait until further details are revealed.

Redmi K50i returns to India

To say that Redmi has lived up to the expectations of its users will be an understatement. It has its loyal fanbase eating out of their hands and with the news of Redmi K-Series smartphones returning to India has only added to the level of excitement as rumours were already abuzz.

Redmi K50i

It remains to be seen what the actual price of K50i is going to be but if the prices of previous models like K20 and K20 pro are anything to go by, it will be in the range of Rs 25,000 to Rs 35,000.

The launch will take place on July 20, 2022 at 12:00pm IST and will take place on the official YouTube channel of Xiaomi where you can watch the entire event live by going to YouTube channel and clicking on the embedded link.

Xiaomi has kept Redmi K50i under tight wraps although rumours afloat that it will be rebranded as Redmi Note 11T Pro, which means that we’ll get to see features like a Mediatek Dimensity 8100 chip, 64MP triple camera at the back and a 6.6 inch IPS LCD screen.

Samsung sets August 10 for Unpacking Event

Samsung Mobile has declared the August 10, 2022 as the date for its next unpacked event in the form of three images that depicted a cryptic puzzle, which it posted on its official Twitter account.

Samsung Galaxy Unfold

The first image had a grid of numbers, letters and symbols while the second one had the same with coloured circles where if you match the characters to colours, you can decode the message on the third image as 081022 i.e. August 10, 2022.

Samsung kept the suspense going by adding a rhetorical question to the encoded message, which was “When will something greater arrive?” that has made it abundantly clear that something big is coming up.

This has piqued the curiosity of many users that are anxiously waiting for August 10 to arrive and what all they’ll learn at the event but as of now, the rumour mills are suggesting that Samsung will announce the next gen smartwatches and foldables.

Although Samsung has to officially confirm everything in a clear cut way, the puzzle has been deciphered by many users as to what exactly the event will be about but we’ll have to wait for official confirmation from the horses’ mouth.

Customer pain points are an integral part of the sales process, says Ajay Kumar Goel of Codestore Technologies

What’s so unique about CodeStore at a time when there are a number of companies offering services for app development?

CodeStore has a distinctive way of offering services to clients. We serve our clients on the basis of their requirements and our analysis.

Once the client shares their full requirement, what we do is complete and thorough research or we can say deep analysis of their requirements to find out each and every possibility or scenario. After that, we present our findings in front of the client.

We actually do not deliver exactly what the client wants but a lot more than that, which is actually a great thing for their app to step foot in the market with a bucket full of functionalities

What is the size of the app market in India and where does CodeStore fit in driving businesses?

According to Statista, the total revenue size of the App market in India is projected to reach nearly US$1,662.00m in 2022.

Our company leverages its in-depth domain expertise in the IT industry and its deep contextual knowledge of its customers’ businesses to craft unique, high-quality, high-impact solutions designed to deliver differentiated business outcomes.

There’s a lot of talk going around no-code application development. Can you please tell us about the technicalities involved in it? How is it different from the conventional method?

A no-code framework is a programming platform that uses a visual development interface so that non-technical users can build applications by dragging and dropping software components to build a complete application. Users do not need previous coding experience to build applications using no-code. No-code app development limits what you can build. Also, no code is poorly scalable and has security issues which arrive due to lack of control.

Who are your target customers and what have been their responses?

Codestore is targeting to become a leading global provider of high-quality software development services delivering world-class software solutions to SMEs (Small Medium Enterprises) focused on data analytics. With the arrival of new tech stacks, CodeStore is also becoming capable of adapting all new versions of tech stacks. According to our clients, CodeStore delivers robust software solutions in a timely manner. They understood the client’s specific needs well with a great command over the technologies they’ve used. Moreover, all of their concerns were addressed politely.

What are your pain points in dealing with the people/clients to make them understand the whole concept of app building, as many of the old-fashioned businessmen still hesitate in giving a digital makeover to their businesses?

Customer pain points are an integral part of the sales process. Without pain points, there would be no reason for customers to buy. There are a variety of approaches to identifying pain points as part of qualitative and quantitative research. Once we identify the customer’s pain points then we tend to solve them as well. As part of a business, our goal is to develop a solution that prospects will want to hear.

Also, Read Here: Why third-party apps are unsafe and compromise your safety?

What is your monetization model and what are the segments you offer to attract users?

We offer a very versatile business model so that our clients can hire an expert developer based on a fixed cost, T&M and monthly.

What according to you is going to be the future market trends for apps in India?

The market for mobile phones has already grown to an extent that trend analysts predict. The surge in the number of mobile users over the past few years has also led to massive growth in the mobile app industry. User demands and expectations will only grow as the technological revolution moves full steam ahead. From wearable tech to IoT, there’s a lot of new technology on the market that mobile apps need to keep pace with or risk falling behind.
