There’s also a small teaser video posted on Twitter that runs down how the Redmi’s numbered series’ design has evolved over the years and finally landed on the ‘Crystal Glass’ design.

The timing of the launch isn’t very surprising considering the handset’s MIUI build (for India) was recently spotted on the server.

While the spec sheet details are already known, the Indian pricing is still under wraps. Although, the Redmi 12 could start at under Rs 15,000.

Nothing will open a special offline Pop-Up store will open in Lulu Mall, Bengaluru on July 14. This will give you the opportunity to directly purchase the smartphone offline from the official Nothing Team from 7 pm. Not only that, but you will also receive exclusive perks and gifts for purchases made via the kiosk.
Apart from the star of the show, you will also be able to purchase the recently announced Ear (2) Black Edition, the earlier launched Ear (stick), a 45W Nothing-branded power adapter, and Phone (2) accessories.
It will also be sold online via Flipkart and the pre-orders for the smartphone have also already begun. The Nothing offline kiosks will also make an appearance in Dubai, New York, London, Tokyo, Kuala Lumpur, Berlin, Dublin, and Rotterdam.
To recall, the Phone (2) will sport a 6.7-inch 120Hz OLED display and will come with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset under the hood. There could be a 50MP primary camera coupled with a 50MP ultra-wide lens. The selfie shooter is expected to be 32MP.
A 4,700mAh battery is expected to keep the device juiced up with support for 45W wired fast charging. The device could also have an optical sensor and an official IP rating and will most likely run Nothing OS 2.0 based on Android 13.
As for the pricing, the Phone (2) is expected to arrive at Rs 45,000. At this price point, it will interesting to see how well the device holds up against the competition like the iQOO Neo 7 Pro.

Ans) The Nothing Drops pop-up store will be opened in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India at 07:00 pm (IST) on July 14. The store will be located at Lulu Mall, Gopalapura. According to the company, the Nothing Phone (2), the Nothing Ear (2) Black, Nothing Ear (Stick), Nothing Power (45W) adapter, and Phone (2) accessories at its pop-up store.
Additionally, Nothing Drops will be available in several other cities globally, including New York, Dubai, London, Tokyo, Kuala Lumpur, Berlin, Dublin, and Rotterdam.
Nothing has also confirmed that customers who purchase products from its pop-up store will be entitled to exclusive perks, which will be available on a “first come, first serve” basis starting July 13 to July 15, depending on the city.

Ans) Nothing recently announced that the limited units available during the pre-order period were sold out. However, the Phone (2) is back up on Flipkart for pre-order as users can purchase a pre-order pass for Rs 2,000.

Ans) After enjoying decent success during the first run of the pre-sale period, Nothing has now announced a series of physical pop-up stores around the world where people can walk in and experience the Nothing Phone (2) in the flesh. These stores are named simply Drops, based on imagery shared by the manufacturer.
Unfortunately, Bengaluru is the only location listed for India, as shared by leaker Ishan Agarwal. In addition to the Nothing Phone (2), the company will also let visitors try on the Nothing ear (2), which has been selling in the country for a while now. People in Bengaluru can visit this pop-up store on July 14 at 7PM, while London and New York will witness such a store a day prior.
The location of the pop-up store hasn’t been mentioned, though we expect Nothing to share additional details as we inch closer to July 13. For reference, Nothing is expected to unveil the Phone (2) on July 11, with the company’s marketing campaign already underway.

3) What are Moto Razr 40 First Impressions?
Ans) The Razr 40 is available in three colours: Sage Green, Summer Lilac, and Vanilla Cream. While all three colourways look quite stunning, we spent most of our time with the Lilac variant. Looking at the pricing difference, it’s quite obvious the younger sibling had to cut some corners. It misses out on a larger cover screen from the Ultra variant but gets a 1.47-inch display instead.
This cover screen immediately reminded us of the Galaxy Z Flip, which had a slightly smaller screen estate. The screen is still useful as it displays recent notifications, contacts, weather details, event details, music, peek display (wannabe always-on), and more. We are yet to check if it allows you to pick up phone calls or reply to texts, though it seems very unlikely.
Unfortunately, the cover screen cannot help you take selfies by displaying a viewfinder. Instead, it displays funny little emoji wallpapers, not useful but still fun. It’s an AMOLED panel that refreshes at 60Hz with a peak brightness of 1000 nits.
The entire screen module protrudes a bit, with two circular cameras accompanying it. It features a 64-megapixel primary camera and a 13-megapixel ultra-wide angle camera. The in-hand experience is quite sophisticated, partially thanks to the faux-leather finish at the back. It has slightly curved sides, which help with the grip. The right side of the device features a volume rocker and a power button which doubles up as a fingerprint sensor.
The Razr 40 is IP52 rated, which means it’s not just water but dust resistant. This is perhaps the first time we see any dust resistance in a foldable, so it’s a pretty big deal.
Motorola has chosen to keep the branding minimal, with a shiny logo on the bottom portion. There’s no extra flamboyance on the hinges. Speaking of which, while the hinge is designed to hold the display for watching content, taking selfies, and more — we found it to be a bit stiffer than the one on the Ultra. When folded, there’s no visible gap on the sides, which is good.
Upon opening the phone, we were greeted by a tall 6.9-inch LTPO OLED display with relatively minimal crease. It features a punch hole cutout at the top, holding a 32-megapixel selfie camera in place. The panel has a refresh rate 144Hz, so the animations were buttery smooth.
The Razr 40 is powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset, the only phone with this processor in India, as of now. As mentioned, it comes in a lone 8GB LPPDDR4X RAM and 256GB UFS 2.2 storage variant. It packs in a 4,200mAh battery inside with support for 30W wired charging and 8W wireless charging.

Ans) Both the Razr 40 siblings are, without a doubt, promising offerings from the house of Motorola. The Moto Razr 40 is the cheapest and more accessible clamshell foldable on the market, and its only competitor is the year-old Galaxy Z Flip 3.

Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, according to a tweet from a Samsung leaker, is expected to feature the largest-ever battery witnessed on a Samsung flagship smartphone. The Galaxy S24 Plus is also tipped to house the same-sized battery.
However, the Ultra variant, being a premium model, may offer the fastest charging capabilities seen on a Samsung phone.
The Galaxy S24 series is reportedly in the works and is likely to launch in the first quarter of 2024.
While the Galaxy S23 lineup was made available with the Snapdragon chip across the world, it is speculated that the Galaxy S24 series will be made available in Exynos 2400 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 variants in different markets.
Samsung could bump the charging power on the Samsung Galaxy S24 series, according to a new tip. The current Galaxy S23+and Galaxy S23 Ultra offer up to 45W fast charging while the vanilla S23 only gets 25W, and this has been the same since 2019.

On the Galaxy S24 series, the fast charging speed could go up to 65W from the current 45W.
When it comes to battery capacity, the Galaxy S24+ and Ultra are said to pack a 5,000mAh battery. This remains unchanged from the Galaxy S23 Ultra.
Samsung released its first phone with support for 45W wired charging in 2019 (Galaxy Note10+) and hasn’t moved an inch above that. In fact, 45W is still quite rare in Samsung’s line-up. Things may finally start to change with the arrival of stacked batteries, which is tech borrowed from EVs.
According to @RGCloudS, the stacked battery will be featured in the Galaxy S24 Ultra and possibly the S24+.
It depends on the supply chain – currently Samsung is just running tests with batteries made at a Chinese plant as the plant in Cheonan is still waiting for manufacturing equipment to arrive.
One of the advantages of stacked batteries is faster charging – the S24 Ultra will go up to 65W (up from 45W for the 2023 model). Both the S24 Ultra and S24+ batteries will reportedly have 5,000mAh capacity, but the Ultra will have additional cooling, allowing it to hit the higher charge rate.

There may not be enough production capacity to also upgrade the small Galaxy S24, which could be stuck at 25W for yet another year.
Once the stacked battery tech proves itself (and supply constraints are lifted), however, it could be used in the future Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Z Fold 6 too. By the way, Apple is expected to use stacked batteries for all iPhone 15 models.
