There have been 3 YouTube Accounts in the past few days with more than 33 million cumulative subscribers that were busted for spreading fake news in India, which has become a norm as of late where people manipulate and distort information for political reasons.

Back in 2021, there were more than 100 YouTube channels that were banned for spreading misinformation and fake news that could have created an anarchical situation in the country, although there seems to be no end to such nuisance.

3 YouTube Accounts Caught Spreading Fake News, Likely to be Suspended

Press Information Bureau (PIB) is the official information dissemination channel; of the central government of India that revealed that 3 YouTube accounts: News Headlines, Sarkari Update, and Aaj Tak Live, with a cumulative following of 33 million subscribers, was caught spreading misinformation.

According to PIB, the three YouTube channels were caught spreading fake and sensational claims about the honorable Supreme Court of India, Chief Justice of India, Electronic Voting Machines (EVM), Government schemes, farm loan waivers, among others.

It isn’t that the aforementioned YouTube channels were spreading normal and harmless fake news but things like “Supreme Court declaring that future elections will be determined by ballot papers” and “EVMs will be banned”, apart from ridiculous ones like “Government giving money to people with Bank Accounts, Aadhar and PAN Cards”.

PIB has further claimed that the accounts were flagged on account of misinformation, while also impersonating genuine television channels like Aaj Tak and fraudulently using their logo to gain viewers’ credibility, not to mention using thumbnails of popular news readers and personalities for Click Bait.

However, the YouTube channels have not been removed and continues to remain on the platform for now, while PIB may well take strict action against these channels and ask the Information and Broadcasting Ministry (I&B) to issue takedown notices to them.

Infinix Zero Ultra comes in the Infinix trademark big box and carries everything that a user would need for the device. Right at the top, once you open the box, is the device covered in branded wrapping.

Taking out the layer divider, the box contains a sim ejector tool, an XPark invite, a screen protector, and the dollar-like X Club invite. Another pretty interesting addition here is a card that grants you access to a limited-edition animated NFT.

Next, you will get in the box – a clear phone case, a type-c to 3.5mm adapter, and a type-c to type-c USB cord for charging. The highlight in the box is the massive 180-watt charging brick that is supposed to take this smartphone from 0 per cent to 100 per cent battery in just 12 minutes.

We will discuss more about the battery in the battery section below. It is important to note that the device does not have a 3.5mm headphone port and thus, the box contains a type-c wired headphone.

Design and Build

The level of work that has gone into the design of the Infinix Zero Ultra is truly impressive. It looks like a work of art from the back panel to the curved display. The Coslight Silver colour device has embossed 3d textured glass on its back with topography and maps style design.

It is a clean design with speaker grills, a microphone, a type-c port, and the dual-sim tray at the bottom, power button and volume controls to the right, and another set of speakers and microphone at the top.

While it is beautiful on the back, it is impossible to miss the curved waterfall screen on the front of this device. Overall, everything about the design of this Infinix Zero Ultra screams flagship. And it is definitely the kind of smartphone you would be asked about when you pull out in public.

The curved display on Infinix Zero Ultra is an absolute beauty. The display is a 6.8-inch curved AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 by 2400 pixels and a 120-hertz refresh rate. The Infinix Zero Ultra display is perfect for streaming videos and regular usage.

YouTube and Netflix streaming experience is seamless with sharp, colourful, and detailed videos at high quality including 4K content. The curved display adds its own touch to the all-around premium feel of this device. The elements on the screen are clearly visible on the curve to the side.

Performance

The Infinix Zero Ultra is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 920 processor. Other performance-related features include the Google Android 12 OS and Infinix XOS 12. This is where we have to applaud Infinix for the user interface of this smartphone. The UI of the older Infinix devices has always been a common point of contention for most users and it appears the brand has been extra conscious in trying to fix it.

Infinix has also packed 256 gigabytes of storage and 8 gigs of RAM in Zero Ultra. And keeping up with expectations in 2022, the device also brings memory fusion that allows users to take out up to 5 gigabytes of their storage to get 13 Gigabytes of RAM.

The performance of the device, similar to the display features, is screaming flagship with additions that truly add to the overall smartphone experience. The smartphone can be used as the main driver for gaming, streaming, texting, and streaming plus texting at the same time.

There was no significant drop in the performance of this device that could be recorded. Gamers can also rely on Infinix Zero Ultra for the highest quality gaming and frame rate without worrying much about any potential lag.

Battery and Charging Support

The battery is what we believe is one of the most significant selling points of Infinix Zero Ultra.

The 4500mAh battery comes with a 180-watt charge for fast charging support or Thunder charge support. As per the brand’s claims, the 180-watt charger should blast its battery from 0 per cent to 100 per cent in just 12 minutes.

While testing this claim can generate different results for different users. During such battery tests performed by one of the popular tech bloggers, the results weren’t exactly the same in the first attempt.

When the phone got to 0 per cent for the first time, it took about 17 minutes to go from 0 to 100. Nonetheless, this might not be similar to the brand’s claim but still is quite fast.

Camera

The primary camera on Infinix Zero Ultra is a whooping 200-megapixel wide camera lens. This is accompanied by a 13-megapixel Ultrawide Camera and a 2-megapixel depth sensor for portrait shots.

Google Creates New Feature Through Which Doctor’s Handwriting Can be Understood

Whenever anyone falls sick, he goes to the doctor for a check-up and has to diligently take the medicines and pills that has been prescribed for a specific number of days.

However, one of the biggest problems that many patients face is that they are unable to understand the doctor’s handwriting and have a hard time deciphering what is written.

It goes without saying that the handwriting of a doctor is extremely difficult to read where most of the patients either cannot understand or completely misunderstand the medicines and instructions prescribed, which happens more often than not.

To provide a solution, Google came up with a new tool at the 8^th edition of the company’s annual Google for India 2022 event, through which people will be able to understand a doctor’s handwriting better.

It is called the ‘state-of-the-art artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning model’ which can help users to identify and highlight medicines within handwritten prescriptions.

Google has designed this new feature in a way that will act as an assistive technology where handwritten medical documents can be digitized by augmenting human beings in the loop like, for example, doctors and pharmacists.

For using this feature, users need to scan their doctor’s prescription via the smartphone camera as was showcased by the company at the Google for India 2022 event via the demo’s feature that everyone got to see.
Once the scanning is complete, Google will show them all the listed medicines in the scanned documents along with their descriptions, composition, directions for using, and the side-effects.
Users can also find a speaker button in the tool because it will help users in pronouncing it whenever they fist a doctor or pharmacist, while there is another button at the bottom that will help them searching for the medicines on Google Search.
