Today, Realme released a poster to confirm that it will announce the Realme 11 series in May .

The poster does not reveal anything significant about the Realme 11 series. The round design that can be seen in the image suggests that the Realme 11 series will be equipped with a circular camera module. To recall, the Realme 11 Pro was recently seen with a round camera module in the images that surfaced through its TENAA certification.

After rumours and leaks, Realme has now officially confirmed the Realme 11 series will launch in China in May. While the poster image released by the brand doesn’t reveal much else about the hardware, we see a circular camera module.

This doesn’t come as a surprise considering the TENAA certification images recently revealed the Realme 11 Pro featuring a round camera module. The exact launch date of the phone hasn’t been revealed but there should be more teasers coming our way.

It is possible that Realme might introduce the Pro models first and then eventually go about the vanilla Realme 11 variants. The phones will also debut in India since they bagged the BIS certification.

The TENAA certification showed the Realme 11 and Realme 11 Pro+ would come with a 6.7-inch AMOLED FD+ display. There are chances the Pro models might come with a curved screen.

Both the devices are expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1080 SoC coupled with up to 16GB RAM and 1TB of storage. The phones are likely to boo Android 13 OS out of the box.

The Realme 11 and Realme 11 Pro+ could pack a 5000mAh battery and 67W fast charging support (33 on the vanilla Pro version). However, China’s 3C listing showed they would come with 100W and 67W charging speeds.

Connectivity features include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and a USB Type-C port for charging and data sync. They could come with an in-display fingerprint sensor for security.

As for the cameras, the Realme 11 Pro is tipped to come with a 100MP primary camera and a 2MP secondary sensor. On the other hand, Realme 11 Pro+ is expected to arrive with a 200MP camera, an 8MP secondary lens and a 2MP tertiary sensor. We should learn more details about the phone going forward until then stick around.

Apple in a press release said that Apple BKC is one of its most energy-efficient stores in the world. It has a dedicated solar array with no zero reliance on fossil fuels for store operations. The Apple BKC store is also carbon neutral and runs on 100 percent renewable energy.

This is in line with Apple’s commitment to be carbon neutral for its entire business by 2030. The iPhone maker recently announced it will use 100 percent recycled cobalt in all its products’ batteries by 2025.

India has emerged as a key strategic market for Apple over the last few years. While Apple has been wanting to launch its stores in India, the country’s Foreign Direct Investment policy restricted it from doing the same.

“India allowed 100% FDI on single-brand retail, however, there was a mandate that 30% of the sourcing should be done locally. The government of India relaxed this clause in 2018, wherein the single-brand retail entity would have to show incremental sourcing (locally from India) over five years (from 1st April of the year of the opening of the first store). After completion of this 5-year period, the entity will be required to meet the 30% sourcing norms directly towards its India’s operation, on an annual basis,” explains Prachir Singh, Senior Research Analyst at Counterpoint.

This clause allowed Apple to start planning for a physical store in India. However, the plans were halted due to the COVID-19 outbreak. The company had intended to open the store in 2022, but the plans were further delayed, and is finally launching on April 18, 2023.
