* These are said to be custom iPhones with 24k gold and names and jersey numbers of all members and support staff of the World Cup-winning squad.
* The iPhones’ combined worth is EUR 1,75,000 which roughly amounts to Rs 1.73 crore.
* Argentina won the FIFA World Cup 2022 by defeating France in Qatar.

Football icon Lionel Messi has apparently ordered 35 iPhones worth Rs 1.73 for the members and teammates of his World Cup-winning squad.

For the unaware, Messi and Argentina won the FIFA World Cup 2022 against the reigning champion France on penalties.

Per a report, these are not regular iPhones. Designed by iDesign, the handsets are adorned with 24-karat gold.

The devices are also engraved with each player’s name, jersey, and Argentinian logo.

Lionel Messi’s Gift to the Team

As per a report in The Sun, the special gold devices have each player’s names, jersey numbers and the Argentinian logo engraved on them. The report also states that Messi had the phones delivered to his apartment over the weekend.

Argentina won the FIFA World Cup 2022 by defeating France and this was Messi’s first world cup trophy.

The publication’s source told them that Messi had intended to do something ‘special and blingy’ to celebrate the moment. “He got in touch with entrepreneur Ben Lyons and they came up with the design together,” the publication’s source added.

CEO of iDesign Gold, Ben, was also quoted as saying, “Lionel is not only the Goat but he’s one of IDESIGN GOLD’s most loyal customers and got in touch with us a couple of months after the World Cup final.

He said he wanted a special gift for all the players and staff to celebrate the amazing win but didn’t want the usual gift of watches.

So, I suggested gold iPhones inscribed with their names and he loved the idea.”

It was a crazy year for me. I could fulfil my (World Cup) dream after fighting for it for so long. And in the end it happened, and it was the most beautiful thing of my career,” said Messi after winning FIFA Best award recently.

Messi’s 24k Gold iPhones

As per a report by The Sun, PSG member and FIFA World Cup-winning captain, Lionel Messi in Paris ordered 35 custom iPhones with custom engraving for each of the members of the Argentina National Football team, with their names and jersey numbers. These iPhones are said to have a casing made from 24K gold.

While the report does not reveal the iPhone model gifted, the triple rear camera setup in the image suggests it could be the iPhone Pro.

According to the report, the purchase cost him a total of EUR 175,000 or roughly Rs 1.53 crores, which is a miniscule amount for the footballer who is reported to have upwards of $100 million (Rs 820 crores approx) in wealth.

The unique gift of gold-studded iPhones was a result of a discussion between Lionel Messi and the CEO of iDesign Gold, Ben Lyons.

According to the report, Messi got in touch with the company right after the World Cup final, wanting to do something special and lasting for his team.

However, the decision to not go for usual designer watches or accessories made iDesign Gold opt for this uber-luxurious and custom gift.

Last year, Lionel Messi became the first man in the history of football two win the Golden Ball award twice. The seven-time Ballon d’Or-winner had claimed his first Golden Ball award in 2014.

Messi became just the second Argentine footballer to receive the award, after Diego Maradona in 1986.

Messi recorded seven goals and three assists at the Qatar World Cup as Argentina won their third title.

In the summit clash, the former Barcelona striker scored a brace against the 2018 FIFA World Cup winners France. He had also converted a penalty in the shootout against Les Bleus in the finals.

A stellar performance in 2022 also helped Lionel Messi in winning the Best FIFA Men’s Player award of the year last week. Messi got the better of Kylian Mbappe and Karim Benzema to clinch the prestigious individual award.

To recall, Argentina won the FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar just last year. The win came through a penalty shootout that took Messi’s team to the finish line after a scintillating final between Argentina and France.

During the entirety of the World Cup, Messi scored a total of 7 goals, to conclude his World Cup outings.

Highlights

  • Google to soon integrate AI Text-to-Image Generator Imagen into the Gboard Android app.
  • The latest beta version APK of Gboard, as studied by 9to5Google, supposedly has some codes referencing the “Imagen Keyboard.”
  • Reports suggest the text-to-image generator Imagen could appear in the shortcuts strip of the Gboard app.
  • Google is also expected to introduce many other AI features for its products soon in the near future.
  • The Artificial Intelligence powered Imagen text-to-image generator uses a diffusion model to create photorealistic images.
  • This integration of an AI text-to-image generator with Gboard will enable users to create their own images eliminating the need to search for images on the internet.

Gboard, Google‘s Android keyboard, is expected to soon have an artificial intelligence integrated text-to-image generator feature.

According to the latest report of 9to5Google, the American tech giant is working to get the text-to-image generator “Imagen Keyboard” integrated into the Gboard app on Android.

The 9to5Google publication conducted a recent APK (Android Package Kit) teardown that reportedly indicated lines of code mentioning the “Imagen Keyboard” in the latest beta version of the Gboard.

Google

According to the report, the AI keyboard integration will be in the shortcuts strip of the Gboard where you can find options like Translate, Clipboard, One-handed mode and more.

This news should not be of any surprise to tech enthusiasts who have been paying attention to the recent Google announcements.

Google, last year, announced the text-to-image generator Imagen claiming it is based on its “large transformer language models and it pairs a deep level of language understanding with an unprecedented degree of photorealism.”

The tech giant even compared Imagen to image generators such as DALL-E and claimed it to be a notch above at understanding user requests. DALL-E is a ChatGPT creator OpenAI-owned popular text-to-image generator.

Google could soon introduce a host of new and updated AI features for its products. In this series of new features, Google unveiled its new artificial intelligence (AI) service ‘Bard’ last month.

Introduced in a faceoff against OpenAI’s ChatGPT, “Bard” currently has been opened up to “trusted testers” before making it “more widely available to the public”

The tech giant even compared Imagen to image generators such as DALL-E and claimed it to be a notch above at understanding user requests. DALL-E is a ChatGPT creator OpenAI-owned popular text-to-image generator.

Google further says that the human raters preferred “Imagen over other models in side-by-side comparisons, both in terms of sample quality and image-text alignment.”

“Our key discovery is that generic large language model (e.g. T5), pre-trained on text-only corpora, are surprisingly effective at encoding text for image synthesis: increasing the size of the language model in Imagen boosts both sample fidelity and image-text alignment much more than increasing the size of the image diffusion model.”

The Imagen technology integration into the Gboard Android app could provide a whole new level of image creation on Android phones. This will allow Android users to communicate through AI-generated images.

The current Gboard format offers various image-creation tools such as stickers, emojis, and GIFs.

However, the AI Imgae-to-Text generator Imagen will further boost the quality of image creation for Android Users with custom image creation features that include stylized pictures based on text prompts.

As per Google’s research, Imagen technology “pairs a deep level of language understanding with an unprecedented degree of photorealism and a deep level of language understanding.”

Moreover, Imagen technology, reportedly, offers better results at spatial relations, rare words, long-form text, and challenging prompts.

The reports around the integration of the text-to-image generator Imagen into the Gboard Android App are widely based on the APK teardown conducted by the 9to5Google publication.

It is imperative to note that Google has not officially confirmed the inclusion of Imagen technology in Gboard.

The publication merely speculated the Imagen technology integration based on its focus study of feature reference in the code lines of the APK.

Moreover, Google has not released any official code or even a demo for the tech industry or the public citing the societal impact of the integration.

Introduction

GTA 6 Gameplay

Rockstar Games constantly receives all the attention from the first installment of GTA to its latest and improved installment GTA 5.

Grand Theft Auto has managed to create a wide fan base across the world with people playing it on different devices and always interested in the news related to it.

After giving the world GTA 5 approximately 9 years ago, this open-world video game franchise has announced that its team has started working on the next installment of GTA, namely GTA 6.

So far, with the rumors and leaks, much information has surfaced for expectation and speculations, that the release of GTA 6 will be worth the wait.

Moreover, the rumor has it the playable characters are also going to be unique this time, with a map that might as well be an acquainted ground to play Grand Theft Auto (GTA 6).

THE “THANK YOU” PAGE FOR GTA V GOES LIVE

GTA 6 Gameplay

The first sign of going to the next installment of GTA is when Rockstar Games released the “Thank You” page for GTA V.

Acknowledging the massive success the players have given to the game and subtly indicating perhaps the ‘End of an era’ with the promise of continuing to entertain with the next installment, GTA 6.

After the massive attraction gained by GTA V and the “THANK YOU” Page going viral to share the success with all people who worked on it and are associated with the game.

Now the time is to move to the next phase and get the release date for GTA 6 why did its production get delayed?

When can GTA 6 be rolled out? What’s with the delay?

GTA 6

Rockstar Games confirmed the next installment of GTA in February 2022 by stating “next entry in the Grand Theft Auto series is well underway” through an official Newswire post.

And reassuring the working on GTA 6 and directing all the investment and resources towards this game by June 2022. The earnest work in progress for GTA 6 directs the other projects, such as GTA 4 and Red Dead Redemption remaster, by Rockstar games will be taking a backseat.

The year of release is yet not confirmed, let alone the date of release; however, Chris Klippel, a famous GTA leaker, who provided reliable and credible information in the past as well, has tipped toward the possible year of release of GTA 6.

According to Klippel, GTA 6 does not seem to be released before the last months of 2024.

All in all, asking the gamers to wait till the last months of 2024 or early months of 2025 for GTA 6 to roll out. Video game players have already waited for a decade for the new game to hit the floor, but they still need to wait for the next two years for the release of GTA 6. It is tipped by many reliable sources.

The delay

GTA 6

There has been some speculation and theories made in the past for the delay in the launch of GTA 6. And just like several other AAA video game title developments, GTA 6 also has got to see numerous aspects of progress and release.

And in current years the outbreak of Covid-19 is among the crucial reasons affecting the delay in the launch and even made the company adopt new ways, rethink the company’s policy, and even reconstruct the team.

The Other reason can be the massive success of GTA V for which Rockstar Games was still not ready to pull the plug on the game with the paramount revenue the game generated.

Bringing the successor into the game while still gaining great monetary recognition from GTA V might not work great for the company.

GTA 6 will come in 2024, thinks Microsoft

GTA 6

During the acquisition of Activision Blizzard by Microsoft. And investigating the company’s market standing, Microsoft claimed that  “the highly anticipated Grand Theft Auto VI is expected to be released in 2024.”

As the market share segment under investigation talks about Take-Two Interactive. That is the parent company of Rocket Games that develop GTA.

Also because Microsoft is a proud owner and developer of Windows and Xbox, that can be said as among the major platforms for the next installment of the GTA game.

And it won’t be a surprise that the platform owners can have some inside knowledge of the intricate estimates of GTA 6.

What can delay the launch of GTA VI

GTA 6

As the massive security breach happened on the 18th of September, 2022. This setback hit Rockstar Games which resulted in the 90+ gameplay videos leak and the Source code of the pieces of the GTA 6 going public.

Owing to this, it can be expected that the company pushes the release date even further. These actions have all the potential to adversely affect the company and the development process of GTA 6. Eventually, the delay to get on the floor with the damage control event in hand is an inevitable scenario.

What will be the GTA 6 Supported Platforms?

GTA 6

A Lot has changed and developed in the span of 10 years and the launch of GTA 5 and the potential launch of GTA 6.

Since the gaming industry is thriving and advancing rapidly and Rockstar Games is known to initiate new trends, basically the pioneers of many trends. The changes can be expected based on the device support.

It can be said PS4 won’t be cutting in for GTA 6 and the initial release can happen on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.

Additionally, just with GTA 5, the developers might plan further to port the game for PC users as well. And that will indicate the idea that GTA 6 will be reaching its PC-owned audience late in 2025 only.

Note this, these are all the assumptions, nothing is still confirmed by the developers.

GTA 6 can be called “Grand Theft Auto”

“Grand Theft Auto”

As Rockstar Games has stated that they are working towards the “next entry in the GTA franchise” and not addressing the upcoming installment as GTA 6.

Many fans are making a valid and warranted assumption that Rockstar Games might use GTA 6 or the upcoming installment of GTA as the opportunity to restart the franchise.

Maybe a Possible teaser for Grand Theft Auto

Grand Theft Auto

There is a new car debuting in GTA 6. As Rockstar Games has tweeted the image that promotes and hints towards the new vehicle for GTA online users, where the fans have pointed out that in close observation, the image has the number ‘6’ that can be a new vehicle for GTA 6. However, it is just an assumption.

Characters for GTA 6: Leaked

GTA 6

If the news is to be believed, Rockstar games are planning to gain a good impression on the public and by curtailing the gender gap in GTA 6 they plan to do the same.

The issue has been raised before as well and has been part of the debate for a long. Through this upcoming GTA franchise, Rockstar games are going to flip their image or maybe start to do so.

After the GTA franchise was dominated by male leads, in GTA 6, developers are planning to introduce a Female protagonist that will be related to the male lead. Precisely a duo will be leading the story further.

The leak of September 2022, has given some information on the characters. And it is leaked that the pair of main leads will be named Jason and Lucia with Bonnie and Clyde vibes. The characters will be having a standalone work but will be supporting each other with the storyline advancing and also are suspected to share some parts of the inventory.

The Rumored Storyline of GTA 6

GTA 6

Some parts of the storyline have surfaced. One of the renowned gamers Tom Henderson has discussed the storyline and mentions the theory of GTA 6.

It is believed phenomenon that GTA 6 will be set in modern-day Vice City instead of the ‘80s setup.

The male and female leads will be related to each other and will be heavily inspired by the real-life crime couple, Bonnie and Clyde. As the story will be set in modern times and will be dealing with modern problems.

Redditor in 2020 tipped that GTA 6 codename at the initial stage was “Project Americas,” implying the audience believes that the story will be moving over both American continents. The protagonists are teased to be building a  drug empire, just like in the GTA Vice City Stories.

GTA 6 MAP Assumption

GTA 6

GTA 6 seems to make its tour back to vice city. This modern version of the vice city will be twice the time larger than the Los Santos of GTA 5.

The game will be set in an imaginative and fictional place in Miami. And that now indicated that the game will be not only confined to Vice City but will be covering areas around it too.

On the map speculation and the vast area given to play in GTA 6, YouTuber MrBossFTW states that Rockstar Games has employed VFX artists that will “help to immerse the player in a believable world, from using ambient effects for things like insects around the player and rain dripping off buildings up to large scale destruction events like skyscrapers crashing to the ground”.

It is further also tipped and leaked that the campaign’s map will also be modified as DLC is planning to get some new areas and rectify the existing space according to the theme that is yet to be decided.

Not only this, but GTA Online mode will also be having a modified and upgraded campaign map as it will be an ‘evolving map’ altering with every update, just like Fortnite map changes with entering new seasons.

Gameplay for GTA 6

GTA 6

Not a major difference from that of GTA 5 as can be confirmed from the morsel of leaks. The set of a diner where players keep the hostages from escaping.

They escape as they shoot them back and run. Also see Jason and Lucia, dodging the cops by stealing their car to drive around the alley. The assault rifle is also there in the scene while escaping we can see Jason is using the rifle.

It is also tipped regarding the raw tests of movement mechanics, such as cover system, crawling, and crouching. The characters playing the game can also cover their face via hands or weapons to avoid headshots.

The leaked footage also revealed that Jason is using the new vision ability feature to look in a convenience store. Just like what the gamers have also seen in the work of Deadeye in Red Dead Redemption.

GTA leaks

GTA

On September 18, 2022, 90+ videos showing content of 53 minutes and 26 seconds were leaked, marking the biggest data breach in history. This leaked footage gave us numerous information on the upcoming GTA installment, including the introduction of Female playable characters, the story can have hints of Bonnie and Clyde in the name of Jason and Lucia in GTA 6., the weapons, and many more.

The leaker has now been arrested, but the damage has been made and the fixing task will delay the release date of GTA 6.

The leaker happens to be a 17-year- old, who pleaded ‘not guilty’ and has drawn two charges related to computer misuse offenses that included leaking GTA 6 footage and violating the bail.

GTA News

GTA News

The setback was major, but the Rockstar Games stated that it is “extremely disappointed” for footage getting leaked. However, the company motivated the developer by saying that  “the next Grand Theft Auto will continue as planned”.

With the assurance from developers that they “will update everyone again soon and, of course, will properly introduce you to this next game when it is ready”.

There are some sets of news making rounds on social media platforms addressing the development of the game. Some of the news is as follows:

  1. According to the leaked clips, Grand Theft Auto’s next installment will have cop cars with VCPD (Vice City Police Department) engraved on them. Even the metro train has ‘vice City’ written on it.
  2.  A similar feature as “eagle eye” will be introduced in GTA 6, which enables the playable characters to keenly observe interactable spots in a specific location.
  3. In GTA 6 the playable characters can also have chat-based communication with the users.
  4. Twitter has also pointed out the strong creation of the characters as the playable characters will have improved movements.

Conclusion

As there is still yet to unfold, GTA 6 coming soon should make us gloat with Rockstar Games finally coming with its next installment soon.

Galaxy A34 and Galaxy A54 5G smartphones are likely to feature a similar camera module design as the recently launched flagship Galaxy S23 series.

Samsung Galaxy A34

The design renders cited showed vertically aligned circular camera modules and it also hinted that the Galaxy A34 model might launch with a notch display.

There might be a wider specs gap between the two phones this year, with the Galaxy A34 supposedly featuring a MediaTek MT6877V SoC and the Galaxy A54 using an Exynos 1380 chipset.

The Galaxy A34 is said to be offered in two storage variants – 6GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB, the former of which is expected to cost between EUR 410 (roughly Rs. 36,200) and EUR 430 (roughly Rs. 38,000), while the 256GB model could cost between EUR 470 (roughly Rs. 41,500) and EUR 490 (roughly Rs. 43,300).

On the other hand, the Galaxy A54 model is reported to arrive in two storage variants – 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB is likely to cost between EUR 530 (roughly Rs. 46,800) and EUR 550 (roughly Rs. 48,600) for the base variant, while the 256GB model could cost between EUR 590 (roughly Rs. 52,100) and EUR 610 (roughly Rs. 53,900).

1) How is the Samsung Galaxy A54 5G, Galaxy A34 5G Design?

Ans) Thanks to a WinFuture leak, we also know what both smartphones will look like. The Galaxy A54 5G and the A34 5G adopt a design language similar to Samsung’ latest Galaxy S23 series flagship smartphones.

Both the devices look similar from the back, including a triple rear camera setup placed in a vertical manner.

Both the smartphones get the volume rocker and power button on the right spine. The sides are close to flat. On the front, the Galaxy A34 5G has a water-drop notch.

On the other hand, the A54 5G has a punch hole housing the selfie sensor. They have equal bezels on three sides and a thick chin at the bottom.

Ans) Tipster OnLeaks has revealed that Samsung may announce the Galaxy A34 5G and the Galaxy A54 5G on March 15. He mentioned that he received this information from a reliable source, but the leakster isn’t ready to vouch for it 100%, so take this information with a pinch of salt.

However, when you think of it, the South Korean firm can launch its new Galaxy A series smartphones this month as it is done launching its flagship phones and even the lower-end Galaxy A14 and Galaxy A14 5G phones.

3) What are the key features of Samsung Galaxy A54 5G?

Ans) The Galaxy A34 5G features a 6.6-inch Super AMOLED Infinity-U display with Full HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate.

The Galaxy A54 5G will come equipped with Samsung’s brand-new 5nm Exynos 1380 processor, which has four high-performance CPU cores and a 20% faster GPU than Galaxy A53 5G’s Exynos 1280 processor. It has 6GB/8GB RAM, 128GB/256GB internal storage, and a microSD card slot.

And according to the renders, the Galaxy A54 will be available in black, lime green, purple, and white.

5) What are the Galaxy A34 5G specifications ?

Ans) The Galaxy A34 5G is rumored to have a 6.6-inch, 120Hz OLED screen. It is likely to be powered by the Dimensity 1080 chipset, with memory options up to 8GB RAM and 256 GB storage. Like the A54, the A34 will have a 5,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging support.

The camera setup on the back will have a 48-megapixel primary shooter, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 5-megapixel macro camera. For selfies, it will have a 13-megapixel front-facing camera.

The Galaxy A54 and A34 will run on OneUI 5.0-based Android 13. There is a possibility that both phones may launch with the newer OneUI 5.1. Both A-series handsets will have an under-display fingerprint scanner and IP67-rated chassis.

Vivo V27 Pro - Performance & Software MediaTek Dimensity 8200 Up to 12GB RAM (extendable) and 256GB storage 4600 mAh battery, 66W wired FlashCharge Funtouch OS 13, based on Android 13 The Vivo V27 Pro is powered by the high-functioning MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC processor at its core. This is one of the high-end chipsets in the market today and with a clock speed of 3.1GHz and an ARM Mali-G610 MC6 GPU, the performance of Vivo V27 Pro is extremely satisfying. The chipset has been combined with 8GB / 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB / 256GB UFS 3.1 storage  for optimum performance. The non-expandable storage is definitely a downer even though the smartphone supports up to 8GB of virtual RAM to cater for some storage requirements when needed. Vivo V27 Pro is the 2nd smartphone after iQ00 Neo 7 to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chipset. The chipset has good performance. It is based on 4nm manufacturing technology with 8 cores, out of which one Arm Cortex A78 core has a clock speed of 3.1GHz, 3 Arm Cortex A78 cores have a clock speed of 3.OGHz and the rest of the 4 Arm Cortex A55 cores have a clock speed of 2.0GHz. The best part about it was the smartphone never heated during the usage period. The Vivo V27 Pro is a good option for gamers as well because the device can handle long gaming sessions. For best animations, one can set the refresh rate to 120Hz. Heavy Games like Call of Duty, and Asphalt 9, also work fine on the smartphone. If you are someone who looks for good gaming while buying a smartphone, then Vivo V27 Pro won’t disappoint you. Let’s take a quick look at the benchmark results Overall, the Vivo V27 Pro promises the best-in-class performance along with proper stability. Apple Removed iPhone Live Wallpapers in iOS 16, Now No Live Photo or Live Wallpaper on Lock Screen?

0

Highlights

  • Apple silently removes the iPhone Live Wallpaper features in iOS 16.
  • With the launch of iOS 16 recently, Apple has introduced a new host of dynamic wallpaper collections.
  • The Live Wallpaper feature has been one of the most popular features among iPhone users.
  • Apple with iOS 16 also introduced Lock Screen customisation features

With the iOS 16 update, iOS users would no longer be able to set Live Photo or Live Wallpaper on the lock screen of their iOS devices.

This is because Apple has silently removed the iPhone Live Wallpaper features from the latest software release.

The Live Wallpaper functionality is surely one of the most popular features amongst iPhone users. The Live Wallpaper feature allows iOS users to add a live photo to the lock screen and activate it with a long press on the device screen.

Apple added live wallpapers functionality with iOS 11 to its devices almost 5 years ago.

It also had an official dynamic wallpaper from Apple that had the functionality to be easily moved to the lock screen.

So, what made Apple suddenly disable one of its most popular features? In this article, we are touching on the reasons and all the available details regarding this latest development.

Why Apple Removed Live Wallpapers from iOS 16?

Live Wallpapers from iOS 16

The reason Apple quietly removed Live Wallpaper features in the latest iOS update has to do with the action used to trigger the wallpaper’s movement on the lock screen and Apple’s new customisable Lock screen feature.

To watch a live wallpaper’s animation, iPhone users had to long press on the display.

However, this feature trigger gesture was creating an issue when the Cupertino giant decided they want to introduce a customisable lock screen.

The customisable lock screen feature was already implemented on Apple Watch and was also triggered by a long press gesture.

So, therein the issue Apple was facing. To bring the custom lock screen feature to iPhone, Apple would either have to introduce a new gesture to trigger it or remove the live wallpapers feature altogether so that the long press would bring up the custom lock screen interface just like on Apple Watch.

Moreover, removing live wallpapers also united the user experience of the iPhone and Apple Watch by making both devices more intuitive to use.

Live Wallpapers from iOS 16

Following the lifelong policy of prioritising consistency and seamlessness over an abundance of features, Apple decided to let go of the Live Wallpaper feature from iOS 16 update to free up the long press gesture.

In another speculation, it is being widely reported that based on Apple’s own internal data, not many people were using live or dynamic wallpapers as the years passed.

So, removing the feature wasn’t likely to cause much disappointment to users.

In a very similar move, Apple had earlier let go of the very popular 3D Touch feature with iPhone 11 claiming that very few people were using that feature too.

The 3D Touch was first introduced with iPhone 6S and was quick to be picked up by iPhone users.

So, while iPhone users don’t get to use the live wallpapers anymore, they still have the dynamic and animated wallpapers feature.

The dynamic and animated wallpapers promise to bring some animation back to the lock screen. For example, the weather wallpaper plays a short animation after waking the iPhone.

What Apple Has to Say?

Live Wallpapers from iOS 16

Apple has not directly commented on the discontinuation of the Live Wallpaper feature with the latest iOS update.

However, Apple, while announcing the new features available with iOS 16 on their official blog, explained the new customisation Lock Screen features introduced with the new update.

Following are the new wallpaper related lock screen features to customise your iPhone lock screen

Lock Screen gallery – “For inspiration on how to make the Lock Screen your own, browse a gallery of many options, each with a unique backdrop, stylised view of the date and time, and information you can see at a glance.”

Multilayered photo effect – “Photo subjects are dynamically displayed in front of the time to make the subject of the photo pop.”

Suggested photos – “iOS intelligently suggests photos from your library that look great on the Lock Screen.”

Photo styles – “Apply styles to photos on the Lock Screen that automatically change the colour filter, tinting and font style to complement each other.”

How to Use Dynamic and Animated Wallpaper on your iPhone?

Live Wallpapers from iOS 16

If you have updated your iPhone to the latest iOS 16 and now deeply miss using the live wallpapers on your lock screen since Apple decided to quietly remove the feature with the update, then we have a solution for you.

Although not exactly the same, your iPhone still has an alternative that could work in the meantime.

The iPhone still have Dynamic and Animated wallpaper feature that can somewhat work as an alternative to Live Wallpaper features. Follow the below steps to use the feature on your iPhone.

  • Turn on your iPhone.
  • Hold your finger on the lock screen.
  • Tap on the (+) icon in the bottom right corner to access the customisation menu.
  • Select a wallpaper of your choice.
  • After you tap on Apply, the selected new wallpaper will be installed on your lock screen.

The Astronomy and Weather Live Wallpapers are probably the best iOS 16 Live Wallpapers. These are not only interactive, but they also use your location to provide you with the most precise information available.

Introduction

The way the world is revolving around technology, 3D printers are just getting started with their potential to reign.

With the tight competing market there are some of the best 3D printers that ticks almost all the right boxes, providing good printing quality, uninterrupted Wi-Fi connection, Strong Software, and many other aspects.

Besides this, get to know what a 3D printer is, how it works, the best 3D printers in 2023 with its pros and cons, and much other information pertaining to it.

What is a 3D Printer?

3D Printers

3D printing also called Additive manufacturing is a smart method of constructing 3D objects from the digital 3D model.

The processes are numerous, where material, such as plastics, liquids or powder grains are fused layer by layer to solidify the object created under device control.

The growing adoption of 3D printing or additive manufacturing across diverse industrial verticals to get a three dimensional solid project from the idea extracted from the digital files. Additive processes help in creating 3D printed objects.

The successive layers of material are laid down until the object is created via additive process. These layers are seen as fine sliced sectioning of the object.

Previously, down a decade 3D printing techniques were cautiously used to generate aesthetic or functional prototypes, more of a rapid prototype.

However, by 2019, with the development, advancement, and precision in 3D printing techniques, this technology became a vital element as an industrial-production technology.

In comparison to the conventional manufacturing methods, 3D printing directs to create complex shapes, geometries, and objects, without consuming excess from the limited resources and that seem to be difficult to construct manually, which adds to the growth inducing factor of the market and intrigue for the same.

How does the 3D Printer work?

3D Printer

As said before, 3D printing is additive manufacturing, where the 3D objects are created by using material, usually plastic.

Following the printing method as similar as traditional inkjet printers, but only in 3D. Additive manufacturing creates any complex to easy objects in layers, by continuously adding material until the object reaches to its final design and molding is completed.

3D printers can only be used after accomplishing a digital design for the production of an object. Once achieved, 3D printers build the structure according to the computer-aided design.

This process entails updated software, precision tools, and powder-like materials to build the 3D object from ground.

The Process Involves the Following Steps

Step 1: 3D Modeling Software

3D Modeling Software

3D modeling is the first step that implies designing the object on the device for high end precision.

Each object should be designed first via 3D modeling software and the designs can be as intricate and exact as possible for 3D printers to build.

Each sector can use the 3D modeling software to pay attention to the minute details and generate precision and exactness of the object.

The software levels up the game for the computer-aided designs to lay perfectly in 3D designing and customize the design accordingly.

Step 2: Slicing the Model

3D Printing

Next step is slicing, where engineers slice the one big model into layers to print and create the final product. The conceptualization method for 3D printers requires the slicing software to scrutinize each layer of a model and recreate the layers according to the printer.

There is also a ‘fill’ feature in a slicer that commands the 3D printed object to solidify the internal columns where required. Once done with slicing, the model is finally moved to execute the actions.

Step 3: The 3D Printing Process

3D Printing Process

After being done with modeling and slicing the object for 3D printers to finally take the lead, it appears to operate the same as the traditional inkjet printer.

As the ebb and flow of the nozzle takes place layer by layer dispensing a wax or plastic-like polymer. The next layer is only added when the prior added layer is dried.

Different Printing Materials

Printing Materials

The 3D Printing Materials coming together that creates the 3D object, includes

Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS): Plastic material that is tough to break but easy to mold according to the object.

Carbon Fiber Filaments: lightweight filaments that also create strong objects.

Conductive Filaments: Printable material used for wearable technology as it can be used to print electric circuits without requiring wires.

Flexible Filaments: Filaments that help in creating bendable yet tough objects. Can produce

Metal Filament: made of ground metals and polymer glue, available in steel, brass, copper , and bronze to produce the metal object with true look.

Wood Filament: The filament is made of polymer glue that is finely mixed with ground wood powder to produce wooden-looking objects.

Processes and Techniques of 3D Printing

Processes and Techniques of 3D Printing

There are some of the techniques of 3D printing used widely across diverse sectors. The techniques are as follows:

Stereolithography (SLA) Technology

SLA technology is used to create intricate and detailed objects, as well as supports fast prototyping printing. An ultraviolet laser is used to produce the objects in less time.

Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM)

FDM technology is among the vastly adopted technologies for 3D printing. Majorly used to create the models and prototypes with plastic.

Digital Light Processing (DLP)

DLP technology uses lamps to generate the prints at higher speed as compared to SLA printing, as it allows the layers to dry in no time. It is also the oldest form of 3D printing.

Material Jetting

Material jetting technique uses droplets of material by small diameter nozzle to build a layer- to- layer platform, the object becomes strong due to the UV light used.

Continuous Liquid Interface Production (CLIP)

The CLIP method uses Digital Light Synthesis technology to preview the sequence of UV images for the cross-section 3D printed part.

This method enables the curing process to have precise control. This process causes numerous chemical reactions that allow the layers to harden.

Binder Jetting

For Binder Jetting technique powder base material is used along with the liquid binder that act as an adhesive for the powder particles and are released via jet nozzles.

Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM)

FDM is also known as  Fused Filament Fabrication (FFF). This technique works by unwinding a plastic filament that flows through the heated nozzle in vertical and horizontal directions. This way it immediately forms the object by hardening the melted material.

Selective Laser Sintering (SLS)

SLS technique works by fusing small particles of powder together via high-power laser to build 3D objects. The laser scans the layers formed via powderbed and selectively fuses them, which lowers the powder bed by one layer and repeats the process until getting the desired thickness.

Multi-Jet Fusion (MJF)

MJF is another form of Powder Bed Fusion as it uses a sweeping arm that enables the deposit of powder and the application of inkjet-equipped arm for selective binding.

Moreover, there is a detailing agent that is used for the precision of the object. Also, there is utilization of thermal energy to cause the chemical reaction.

Directed Energy Deposition

Majorly used in the metal industry, Directed Energy Deposition technique operates on the 3D printing apparatus attached to a nozzle for applying the powder and a multi-axis robotic arm.

The application of the powder on the surface and energy source that melts the material that creates solid objects.

How to choose the best printer for your business?

best printer

Any business choosing the right 3D printer is based on a few parameters. The parameters for the same are as follows:

Printer type

There are two types of 3D printers, including FFF (fused filament fabrication) and SLA (stereolithography).

FFF printers work by melting and molding plastic filament to create the object with a moving printhead.

Whereas, SLA printers employ UV lasers to harden the resin that solidify the model.

FFF printers are relatively cheaper than the SLA printers, not only cheaper but easy to use and simple.

Printing Materials

The printing material varies for each type of printer.

FFF filament material includes PLA (a brittle, biodegradable material), HDPE (a light, tough polystyrene), ABS (the same plastic used in Lego blocks), and TPE (a soft, rubberlike material). Where the availability of PLA and ABS are in various colors and hues.

SLA printers comparatively function on fewer options.

However, the SLA printers are well equipped to form the objects from very rigid to rubbery.

The best 3D printers are those that can apply a wide range of material to form an object with desired degree of rigidity.

Note that: There are some 3D printers that allow the use of some material that is approved and produced by the respective manufacturer of the printers.

Print Volume

Determine the print volume before buying a 3D printer. As all printers come with certain limits on the basis of size of the object can be created.

The print bed decides the size of the print, which is measured by the cubic inches. Also look into the individual dimensions to ascertain the production of the maximum size 3D print.

Print Speed and Quality

Currently, 3D printing requires time to create the object, as produced in layers and the model design can vary from simple to complex.

The typical 3- to 4-inch design takes around 6 and 12 hours to create the object. Thicker the layers, quicker the print. The speed is also based on the print quality of the object.

Price

The 3D printers used by professional designers and creators can be of a heavy price.

However, the best 3D printers can also come at a budget-friendly price.

For the same read ahead to the top best 3D printers of 2023 that will be economical too.

Note that: There are some 3D printer producers that do not enroll their product on Amazon or any e-commerce platform. The users can also buy the product directly through the company;s website as well.

FAQ on 3D printers

Q.1 What setting is the best for 3D printers?

Ans. 1 Most 3D printers include or link to recommended software, which can handle converting 3D STL or other files into formats supported by the printer.

Stick with the suggested presets to start, with one exception. I’ve started adding a raft, or bottom layer of filament, to nearly everything I print.

It has cut down dramatically on prints that don’t adhere to the bed properly, which is a common issue.

If you continue to have problems, rub a standard glue stick on the print bed right before printing.

Q.2 What does ‘support’ stands for and it’s association with 3D printers?

Ans.2 Your 3D models probably need some help to print properly, as these printers don’t do well with big overhangs — for example, an arm sticking out from a figure.

Your 3D printer software can usually automatically calculate and add supports, meaning little stands that hold up all those sticking-out parts of the model.

After the print is done, clip the supports off with micro cutters and file down any nubs or rough edges with hobby files.

Q.3 What material can be the best for 3D printers?

Ans. 3 Most home 3D printers use PLA or ABS plastic. Professional printers can use all sorts of materials, from metal to organic filament.

Some printers use a liquid resin, which is much more difficult to handle but offers sharper details.

As a beginner, use PLA. It’s non-toxic, made mostly of cornstarch and sugarcane, handled easily, and is inexpensive.

However, it’s more sensitive to heat, so don’t leave your 3D prints on the dashboard of a car on a hot day.

Q.4 Two major types of 3D printers?

Ans.4 There are two types of 3D printers, including FFF (fused filament fabrication) and SLA (stereolithography).

FFF printers work by melting and molding plastic filament to create the object with a moving printhead.

Whereas, SLA printers employ UV lasers to harden the resin that solidify the model.

FFF printers are relatively cheaper than the SLA printers, not only cheaper but easy to use and simple.
