Of late, Google has been showcasing its next-generation flagship phones at the Google I/O every year.
This year, the company could follow the trend and tease the Pixel 8 series.
However, readers do not have to wait for so long to get an idea about the Pixel 8. We have collaborated with tipster OnLeaks, who has a reputation for accurate smartphone leaks, for the Pixel 8 design renders.
The leaked design renders show that the Google Pixel 8will get some design renders over the outgoing Pixel 7 5G, which is available for purchase in India.
The design changes, although subtle, are quite noticeable compared to the Pixel 7 series.
The first set of leaks for the upcoming Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro are out.
A new report has revealed several renders of what is supposedly the flagship Pixel 8 Pro from Google, while another one from sources has gotten its hands on the Pixel 8’s renders.
These new renders give us a high-resolution view of what we should expect from Google’s hardware updates in 2023.
As per a report by Smartprix in collaboration with Onleaks, leaked renders of the Pixel 8 Pro are out.
These include a total of four design images, covering the front and back of the smartphone in its entirety, and a 360-degree animated view to top it all off.
Let’s take a look at the Google Pixel 8 design renders, specifications and other details known so far.
Pixel 8 Pro
Starting off with the first thing that comes to mind when you see the renders are the rounded or curved corners.
This is a redesign when compared to the sharp corners on the predecessor.
Furthermore, the back panel has a smaller oval-shaped dual camera setup with an LED flash alongside.
Much like the Pixel 8 Pro renders, these also show a more curved design on the Pixel 8 as well.
This is a departure from the sharp edges of the predecessors. The report suggests the smartphone will sport a 5.8-inch display with the same punch-hole camera design up top.
Other than that, features around the smartphone remain largely same as those seen on the Pixel 8 Pro renders.
Furthermore, the dimensions are expected to be 150.5 x 70.8 x 8.9mm, with a maximum thickness of 12mm around the camera module.
This makes it smaller than the Pixel 7.
Pixel 8 Specifications
Apart from the dimensions and screen size, the Pixel 8 will likely be powered by the yet-to-be announced Tensor G3 processor from Google.
The full-HD+ screen could come with a resolution of 2268 x 1080 pixels.
Other specifications could be leaked closer to the expected Google I/O 2023 launch.
Google Pixel 8 Design Renders: What You Need to Know
The Google Pixel 8 will be the entry-level flagship in the company’s premium smartphone lineup for 2023 and is expected to be unveiled in May 2023.
Ahead of the launch, tipster OnLeaks has shared the design renders of the upcoming Pixel flagship smartphone, which reveal that it will continue to feature a dual-camera setup.
The phone is likely to miss out on a telephoto camera sensor, which might remain exclusive to the Pixel 8 Pro.
There is an LED flash outside the oval-shaped camera module on the protruding visor. The phone is a lot more rounded around the corners.
This itself gives the Pixel 8 a different look compared to the boxy design of the Pixel 7. The change in design also has resulted in the Pixel 8 sporting a smaller display.
OnLeaks tells us that the Pixel 8 will have a circa 5.8-inch display. The screen will remain flat and sport a hole-punch cutout at the top centre.
The Pixel 8 is also smaller than its predecessor, according to OnLeaks.
The phone will measure roughly about 150.5 x 70.8 x 8.9mm. If you include the thick camera visor, the Pixel 8 will measure 12mm.
The frame is curved and houses the power and volume buttons on the right edge.
We can also see some antenna lines on the frame, suggesting that the phone will come with a metal chassis.
At the bottom edge, there is the USB Type-C port with cutouts for the primary speaker and the microphone.
1) What are the specifications of Google pixel 8 ?
Ans) The report also goes on to reveal certain key specifications of the Google Pixel 8 Pro. It is expected to sport a 6.52-inch display panel with a punch-hole style cutout for selfie camera. The dimensions are revealed to be 162.6×76.5×8.7mm, with a thickness of 12mm around the camera bump.
Notably, we saw the first-ever Pixel 8 series leak in November 2022. It revealed that the codenames for the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro are “Shiba” and “Husky” respectively. The report also suggested that the Pixel 8 series could see a new processor, most likely the Tensor G3, which had been codenamed “Zuma”.
2) What are the specifications of Google Pixel 8 Pro?
Ans) The report suggests the smartphone will sport a 5.8-inch display with the same punch-hole camera design up top.

The report also points out the launch of a new blue variant of Pixel Buds A-Series around the same time.
All the new devices could be first announced at the upcoming Google I/O event on May 10. The report notes that the Pixel Fold may come in a single 256GB storage model, though past reports suggest the development of a 512GB storage option as well.
The Fold might come in two colours, including Carbon (black or dark grey) and Porcelain (white). Google may also launch dedicated cases, which might come in “Haze Midtone,” “Porcelain,” and “Sky” colour options.
The report claims that Pixel 7a’s alleged listing shows a 128GB storage option, similar to the last-genPixel 6a.
The phone may come in “Carbon”, “Cotton”, and “Arctic Blue” colours.
Details about the upcoming Pixel Buds A-series remain unclear. The Google Pixel 7a and Pixel Fold have been a part of the rumour mill for quite some time. The Pixel 7a is expected to look similar to the existing Pixel 7.
That means the phone may come with a 6.1-inch display. The display will reportedly offer Full-HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. The latter is a considerable upgrade, as high refresh rate displays were not available on older Pixel A-series phones.
The camera module on the Pixel 7a may feature a 64-megapixel Sony IMX787 sensor accompanied by a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens. Google will restrict a third sensor on the Pro models.
Front camera details are not out yet, but some reports previously stated that the Pixel 7a would feature a 10.8-megapixel selfie camera, like the one on Pixel 7 and the Pixel 7 Pro.
Being a Google phone, we can expect the Pixel 7a to ship with the latest Android 13 version. The phone will likely receive at least three years of Android OS updates.
On the other hand, the Pixel Fold may come with a classic notebook-like design, similar to Microsoft Duo and Oppo Find N.
The cover or the front display may offer a 5.9-inch viewing area. In its unfolded form, the Pixel Fold may offer a 7.69-inch inner display. It will ship with Google’s custom software for foldables and tablets. The price of the phone is said to be $1,799, which roughly translates to Rs 1.45 lakh.
Both Pixel 7a and Pixel Fold will be powered by Google’s Tensor G2 SoC, which also powers the Pixel 7 series.
Google Pixel Fold: Details Leaked
The tipster claims that the Google Pixel Fold might come in a single 256GB storage variant, though earlier reports claimed a 512GB storage option as well.
The Foldable is said to come in 2 colors- Carbon (black/dark grey) and Porcelain (white). Google might also launch dedicated cases in Haze Midtone, Porcelain, and Sky colors.
Pixel Fold is expected to come with a classic notebook-like design similar to Oppo Find N. The front might offer a 5.9-inch viewing area and in its unfolded form, it might be a 7.69-inch display.
The foldable will be powered by Google’s Tensor G2 chipset. The price is expected be around Rs. 1.45 lakh.
Google Pixel 7a: Expected Features
The report claims that Google Pixel 7a’s alleged listing shows a 128GB storage option, just like Pixel 6a had.
The smartphone is said to come in Carbon, Cotton, and Arctic blue colors.
Pixel 7a is expected to look similar to the existing Pixel 7, which means it might have a 6.1-inch FHD+ display and a 90Hz refresh rate.
The camera module might have a 64MP Sony IMX787 sensor along with a 12MP ultrawide lens. At the front, Pixel 7a is said to feature a 10.8MP selfie lens and the smartphone will run Android 13 with 3 years of Android OS updates. Pixel 7a will be powered by a Tensor G2 chipset.
Google is reportedly in the works to launch its first-ever foldable smartphone, dubbed the Google Pixel Fold, later this year.
So far, numerous reports surrounding the device have popped up on the internet and now, a new one has arrived, which not only suggests the launch timeline for the Google Pixel Fold, along with the Google Pixel 7a, but also reveals its storage and colour variants.
1) Google Pixel Fold -What is the price for Pixel foldable? What Colours can I buy the pixel foldable ?
Ans) The foldable Pixel is said to globally be made available this summer, but so far, there is no word whether the device will launch in India. As per the leak, the Google Pixel Fold will feature 256GB storage and will be priced around EUR 1,700 (roughly Rs 1,50,000). Users must note that this price is only basis the leak and the actual cost of the device may differ.
The device will reportedly be made available in Carbon and Porcelain colour variants. Alongside the Google Pixel Fold, the company is also tipped to launch three coloured covers for the foldable.
2) Google Pixel 7a -What is the price of Google Pixel 7a & what are the colours of google pixel 7a?
Ans) As far as the Google Pixel 7a is concerned, the device is said to arrive in a single 128GB storage variant in Europe. The device is tipped to launch in Arctic Blue, Carbon, and Cotton colour variants. There, however, might be a fourth colour option, dubbed Jade as well. The device is expected to be priced around EUR 500 (around Rs 44,000).
The device is expected to launch sometime in May 2023 and there are chances more than likely that the Google Pixel 7a will launch in India as well.
3) Expected Features of Google Pixel Foldable?
Ans) Although there is little about the foldable smartphone that can be said with certainty, its features have been revealed by the tipsters who have claimed that the handset might feature a 7.57 inch inner display while the outer folded display might be 5.78 inch and also come with an ultra-thin glass cover.
It may also have a triple rear shooter with an IMX787 primary sensor, an S5K3J1 telephoto shooter and an IMX386 ultra-wide secondary camera while the foldable smartphone’s outer display with have an S5K3J1 telephoto selfie shooter as well.
Again, while not specified, the names of the foldable smartphones are said to be Pixel Notepad and Pixel Fold, which has to be confirmed by official sources, including its manufacturing details, which might be done by Foxconn China.
4) What is Google Pixel Fold rumored release date?
Ans) The Google Pixel Fold’s release date has long been open to speculation, now Front Page Tech has said it could launch in May 2023 along with the Pixel Tablet. For what it’s worth that would line up with Google’s annual developer conference. And Google 1/0 2023 is slated for May 10.
It’s not unusual for Google to show off upcoming hardware at Google I/O. At the 2022 edition, we saw previews of the Pixel 6a and Pixel 7 phones.
Display analyst Ross Young has suggested the Pixel Fold could arrive in the first quarter of 2023, at least going by his forecast of panel shipments and production.
Now that we’re in March, this seems like a longshot, but hopefully, we’ll see the Pixel Fold next year before the summer comes calling.
If you want yet another opinion, another source claims the Pixel Fold could instead arrive in late summer/early fall.
That would coincide with the likely launch of the Galaxy Z Fold 5, but is far later than either of the other two sources are saying.
5) What is Google Pixel Fold price?
Ans) Some rumors indicate that the Pixel Fold could cost less than the Galaxy Z Fold line, while others say that it could as much as Samsung’s top tier foldables. Front Page Tech has just said that the Pixel Fold could cost as much as $1,799 which is much more expensive than the Pixel 7 series and as much as the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4.
9to5Google earlier reported that the Pixel Fold could cost less than the Galaxy Z Fold line, and more specifically around $1,400, which would be a welcome move. Right now, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 is the most expensive foldable you can get, costing $1,799.
Flip phones like the new Galaxy Z Flip 4 or Motorola Razr 5G are a little more affordable at $999 and $1,399, respectively – affordable being a relative term in this case. Google’s approach with its most recent Pixel phones has been to undercut the competition, with the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro both very competitively priced.
In fact, we think it’s one of the ways the Google Pixels beat the current iPhone and Galaxy phones.
6) What is Google Pixel Fold design?
Ans) Going by the rumors thus far, the Google Pixel Fold could look a lot like a thicker Google Pixel7 Pro from the outside, and then fold out like a Galaxy Z Fold 4 to reveal its larger internal display.
But unlike the latter phone, the Pixel Fold could have a shorter but wider outside display, offering a look that’s not too far away from the Oppo Find N.
New Google Pixel Fold renders seemingly based on leaked information, showcase this design and hint at a folding phone that sits between the Find N and Galaxy Z Fold 4, although one that will apparently weigh a lot more than either model.
A later plastic dummy of the Pixel Fold, presumably based on these leaks, was later revealed, showing how the design looks in reality, albeit with some of the features missing.
One Reddit user also claims to have seen the Pixel Fold in use on the New York Subway.
While the images they shared were inconclusive, it’s claimed that the phone has a block shaped camera module similar to that seen in renders and on other Pixel phones.
Apparently the foldable Pixel will feature a 7.69-inch inner display and a 5.79-inch outer display, and measure 158.7 × 139.7 × 5.7mm (6.2 × 5.5 × 0.2 inches) when unfolded, or 8.3mm deep (0.3 inches) if you include the Pixel 7-style shiny metal camera bar. And it’ll supposedly be available in either silver or black.
Developer Kuba Woiciechowski has leaked key display details of the Google Pixel Fold noting the resolution of the inner display is expected te be 2208 × 1840.
This is extremely close to the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 specs as well that has a 7.6-inch inner display.
The inside display will also reportedly have a 120Hz refresh rate, although the leaker is not certain about this. In terms of brightness, we could see the display get 1200 nits of peak brightness with an average brightness of 800 nits.
One rumor suggests that the Pixel Fold could have a novel solution to avoiding the notch. The rumor suggests it could have the camera on the bezel of the phone or it could do away with a camera altogether when the phone is opened out.
This rumor seems to have substance. Google’s latest patents show an in-bezel camera instead of a notch or pinhole.
This means that the Pixel Fold could opt to forgo the under-display camera at the expense of having as little bezel as possible.

Best 5G Mobile Phones under 15000 in India Key Specifications
FAQs on Best 5G Mobile Phones Under 15000 in India
Q1. Do I need VoLTE if I have 5G?
Answer. To enable voice calls on 5G smartphones, networks that have been relying on 2G and 3G for voice will need to move to VoLTE. In addition, there’s an increasing need to free up a valuable spectrum. It’s coming fast, so operators should harness the potential of 5G for voice quickly to ensure they don’t get left behind.
Q2. What are some of the disadvantages of 5G?
Answer. Disadvantages of 5G include –
Insufficient worldwide coverage.
A smaller broadcasting range.
Upload rates.
Weakening of gadget batteries.
Lack of encryption at the start of the connection procedure.
Q3. Is a 5G connection going to be faster than WiFi?
Answer. WiFi typically excels over mobile networks in speed and latency. Nevertheless, 5G is comparable to WiFi 6 in terms of overall speed. Specifically, the latency (or the time between user actions and web response) in 5G is comparable to that of WiFi—a critical move towards supporting mobile gaming.
Q4. How long will 4G phones work on 5G?
Answer. Mobile carriers will use existing 4G LTE networks to provide their customers with cell service well into the next decade. 5G networks will work with 4G — not outright replace it. The upshot is that 5G-capable cell phones will still use 4G technology.
Q5. Shall I buy a 5G phone now?
Answer. Seeing as the majority of 5G plans are the same as 4G plans, and most new smartphones are 5G-ready, it’s a no-brainer to say that yes, buying a 5G phone now is worth it. In most cases, if you’re getting a new handset or deal, you’ll probably get 5G included at no extra cost, and then you’ll get connected to superfast download speeds.
Q6. How can I convert my 4G phone to 5G?
Answer. It is possible to convert your 4G mobile phone into 5G depending on the brand of the phone. Not all smartphones offer this service. Although if you are using a Google Pixel/stock Android phone, you can convert your device by Opening Settings> Network & Internet> SIMs> Preferred network type>Choose 5G.
