As for the hardware, the OnePlus 11R will be powered by the cutting-edge octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor developed on TSMC’s 4nm process. OnePlus earlier used the same processor on the OnePlus 10T. However, for upcoming 11R will come with LPDDR5 RAM on the upcoming 11R.

Several leaks over time have already confirmed that the OnePlus 11R will feature a triple-rear camera setup, as was reconfirmed in the recent leaked live images as well. The triple-rear camera setup will include a 50-megapixel primary shooter, an ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2-megapixel shooter. The live images also reveal how the camera module design of this smartphone is almost identical to the previous flagship models OnePlus 10 Pro and OnePlus 10T, both of which had squared or rectangle-shaped camera cutouts at the back. The rear camera will be accompanied by an LED flash.

OnePlus 11R will come with 5000mAh battery support. There hasn’t been any confirmation about the charging speed as of yet. However, since the smartphone will be using a single cell battery as per the speculations, several tech bloggers have guessed that it might come with 150W fast charging support.

UPI Transactions Witness A 650% Rise At Semi-Urban, Rural Stores: Report

According to a recent report, Unified Payment Interface (UPI) transactions in semi-urban and rural stores have recorded a massive 650 per cent rise in 2022. The report, published by the Branchless Banking and Digital Network app PayNearby, also showed a record growth of 25 per cent in value and 14 per cent in volume when it comes to assisted financial transactions across the semi-urban and rural retail counters this year.

Although the average cash withdrawal per transaction recorded a slight downward trend from Rs 2,620 in 2021 to Rs 2,595 in 2022, the report highlighted a 25 per cent increase in the demand for micro-ATMs and mPOS instruments. Moreover, there was more than 200 per cent growth in the EMI collections records of financial institutions and NBFCs.

While referencing the report during a media interaction, the PayNearby Founder, MD and CEO, Anand Kumar Bajaj also said, “Bharat is aspirational, and the increased off-take of green shoot services like assisted commerce, OTT subscription, and micro-lending validates our commitment to make these services easily available at a store nearby.”

The report findings reiterated the behavioural changes of Tier II and Tier III city consumers and confirmed what many industry experts have already voiced. Consumers in rural and semi-urban regions have adopted assisted financial transactions in massive numbers for their everyday lifestyle and other transactional requirements. The incorporation of easy-to-use UPI methods of payments into the lives of people along with the growing use of smartphones in these regions is two primary reasons for such growth.

Moreover, the sharp increase of more than 200 per cent with a monthly average of Rs 1,400 crore in the cash collection business (which includes the EMI option) is another indicator that the country’s economy, especially the lending and financing sector, is diving back to its pre-pandemic standards.

Touching on this topic, Bajaj further said, “We have serviced close to Rs 70,000 crore of digital services in the first 10 months of this calendar year and the steady growth of cash withdrawal business, together with the fast track adoption of some of these green shoot services indicates a steady recovery of our economy post the devastating impact of the pandemic.”

Microsoft has added five new features for Microsoft Teams with an aim to make the entire process of video conferencing a lot easier. Microsoft Teams is a dedicated business communication platform developed by Microsoft exclusively as part of the Microsoft 365 family of products. Some of the newly added features include an instant poll, more videos on the same screen, schedule send, view message thread and an unread toggle. This feature will allow users to instantly receive pre-defined binary answers to any spoken poll question. It is like an instant poll that can use used to gather immediate responses on a particular topic or question from an audience. Pre-defined binary answers could be anything from a Yes/No, Heart/Broken to Thumps Up/Down. Such polls can be organised by the presenters at any time without any prior settings or notifications.

View Up To 49 Videos

Those using Microsoft Teams for organising meetings or sessions currently can see a maximum of 9 videos on their screen. The limit is set to 9 videos by default but the latest feature Microsoft is introducing is going to change this default setting. Thanks to the new features, Microsoft Teams users can now see up to 49 videos simultaneously on their screens, which is a massive upgrade.

Schedule Send

Now you can schedule the delivery of your chat messages manual using the new feature of Microsoft Teams. The delivery can be set for a future date or time by simply clicking right on the send button option.

Microsoft is making it easier for Microsoft Team users to keep a track of all the messages received on a particular thread irrespective of the time it was sent. Users will have to just click on the chat message in the search result for a particular search query and the entire message thread will open.

Unread Toggle

Microsoft Teams is also introducing a new feature that will make it easier for Microsoft Teams users to manage their unread chat notifications. The feature will Turn On the unread toggle button in the feed panel for users to easily view, triage and catch up with the unread messages. In case users want to view both the read and unread messages at the same time, they would be able to easily Turn Off the unread toggle.
