Galaxy S24 To Feature ‘Some’ AI Technology, Tipster Claims There Is No Relation With Samsung Bixby

HIGHLIGHTS

* Samsung is rumoured to be developing AI technology for the Galaxy S24 series.
* The Galaxy S24 lineup is expected to feature a 144Hz display and a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC.
* Samsung also has partnered with Naver Corporation to develop AI chips and other tools.

Samsung has barred its employees from using chatbots like ChatGPT, but it could also be in the midst of developing its own AI technology, according to one tipster, who states that it will be made for next year’s Galaxy S24 lineup.

Samsung could be developing a dedicated chatbot for the Galaxy S24 series to rival OpenAI’s ChatGPT.

The rumor was posted by Ice Universe on Twitter, who ‘confirmed’ that Samsung is developing ‘some’ AI technology for the Galaxy S24 family, though he did not go into much detail on how it would work.

Thankfully, he does mention in the thread that this technology would have no relation to Bixby, and after that, he writes, ‘forget Bixby.’

While Ice Universe’s tweets do not shed sufficient information regarding Samsung’s plans, it is possible the Korean giant could finally be putting an end to its voice assistant and introducing something far superior.

The Galaxy S24 series may get its own chatbot to rival OpenAI’s ChatGPT. Only yesterday, it was reported that Apple’s engineers were working on a similar chatbot and dubbed it ‘Apple GPT,’ so it is not surprising to hear that Samsung is also working on a similar technology.

Unfortunately, the tipster’s tweet leaves more questions than answers, such as if Samsung is phasing out Bixby in favor of a smarter chatbot or will the arrival of the chatbot significantly improve Bixby.

Samsung is expected to introduce the successor to the Galaxy S23 series in the form of the Galaxy S24 lineup next year. The key specifications of the Galaxy S24 series were leaked a couple of weeks back.
The leak indicated that the S24 lineup will boast a 144Hz display, Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, and a 200MP camera.

Another leak also revealed that the S24 series will even come with Exynos 2400 SoC. Now, in a recent development, some more information about the S24 lineup is disclosed courtesy of tipster Ice Universe.

According to the information shared by tipster Ice Universe on Twitter, Samsung is developing some AI technology for the Galaxy S24 series.

Furthermore, the tipster also mentioned in the Twitter thread that the AI technology has nothing to do with Bixby. Currently, other details are not known as to how Samsung plans to integrate AI technology for the S24 series.

The past report indicates that Samsung has informed its employees in an internal memo to stop using generative AI tools like Bard and ChatGPT, citing reasons for security risk.

Meanwhile, it was also reported earlier that Samsung has joined hands with Naver Corporation to develop AI chips and tools.

The report published by a Korean publisher revealed that under the AI partnership, Samsung will provide data to Naver related to semiconductors in order to create generative AI which will then be further enhanced by Samsung.

It is reported that through this collaboration Samsung will secure an in-house AI tool that can improve the company’s productivity and prevent the potential leak of sensitive business secrets that could occur using platforms developed by other companies.

Once the AI tool is developed it will be available in Korean and will be used by Samsung’s Device Solution (DS) division.
Samsung and Naver are expected to launch the said AI tool in October. However, Samsung and Naver are yet to announce the development of the AI tool.

In a piece of related news, it was also reported earlier by Android Authority that Samsung is planning to integrate ChatGPT within the browser in some form. The integration of ChatGPT in the Samsung browser could be an experimental lab feature notes Android Authority.
Currently, no more information is available as to how ChatGPT integration in the Samsung browser will help users.

We also do not know what sort of advantages the Galaxy S24 models will have when users get this AI technology up and running or how the company will integrate it into its own applications.

We did talk about how Qualcomm is partnering with Meta to bring on-device AI to flagship smartphones next year, and given that the Galaxy S24 will ship with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, there might be some kind of integration with the chipset.

Just like us, Ice Universe’s Twitter followers have similar questions, which the tipster has failed to answer. However, with the Galaxy S24 lineup launching early year, we will learn more about Samsung’s rumored AI technology.

Samsung Galaxy S24: Design and Specs

Samsung Galaxy S24: Design
Samsung Galaxy S24: Design

Although we haven’t heard much about the Galaxy S24’s design, it seems unlikely that it will radically change from what the company offered for the past few years.
2023 has seen Samsung align its design language across phones, including low-end models like the Galaxy A14. It’s difficult to imagine a revolutionary new design on deck for 2024, but anything’s possible.

There is a rumor that Samsung could scrap the Galaxy S24+ from its lineup, leaving only the smaller, entry-level Galaxy S24 and the productivity-focused Galaxy S24 Ultra.

The company has launched a trio of smartphones every year since the Galaxy S10, with the Plus model dating back to the Galaxy S8 — and even earlier, if you count the Galaxy S6 Edge as a prototype. It makes some sense.

The Galaxy S23+ and S23 Ultra are fairly similar, and ditching the cheaper of the two could drive some consumers to spend more on their next smartphone.

It’s early days for these rumors, though, and we’ll have to hold on for a while longer before we know Samsung’s plans for next year’s lineup.

As for the specs, it’s a little easier to assume. The as-yet-unannounced Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC will likely power the Galaxy S24 in the U.S. and internationally.

The two companies teamed up to craft a custom variant of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for the Galaxy S23 last year, and it’s hard to imagine that partnership coming to an end.

Meanwhile, expect between 8GB and 12GB of RAM in these phones, as well as various storage levels depending on your budget. Basically, it’s another modern smartphone.

Although we have yet to see One UI 6 — based on Android 14 — in action, we know it’s coming. It’ll likely arrive on the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 before making its way to the entire Galaxy S23 lineup.

The Galaxy S24, meanwhile, will launch with One UI 6, or even One UI 6.1, with a handful of new features building on top of Android 14. We’ll have to wait for One UI 6 to launch in beta before we know what to expect.

Samsung Galaxy S24: Cameras

Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra
Samsung Galaxy S24 Camera

The Galaxy S23 Ultra packed a whopping 200MP primary camera, but we wouldn’t be surprised to see things get even more extreme this year.

With the move to 1-inch sensors becoming commonplace throughout Europe and China, don’t be surprised if Samsung steps up to compete, thereby bringing larger sensors to the U.S. in the process.

Meanwhile, let’s talk about the rest of the camera lineup. Samsung usually relies on its ISOCELL sensors for primary lenses. The Galaxy S23 Ultra, for example, used the ISOCELL HP2 for its main 200MP shooter.

To that end, we expect the company will stick with its in-house sensors, and this time, it might extend beyond the main lens.

Earlier this year, the company filed a trademark for ISOCELL Zoom and ISOCELL Zoom Pro in South Korea and the U.K., suggesting the brand could replace the Sony IMX sensors it uses for its zoom lenses in upcoming phones.

A trademark is far from a confirmation that Samsung’s next phones will sport fresh sensors, but it’s a big clue into the future of the Galaxy S-series.

Samsung Galaxy S24: Price and Release Date

SAMSUNG GALAXY S24 ULTRA
Samsung Galaxy S24: Price

Earlier this year, Samsung kept its pricing and release dates fairly constant compared to 2022.
The Galaxy S23 series featured the same February launch window and staggered prices ($800 for the S23, $1,000 for the S23+, and $1,200 for the S23 Ultra) as the S22 before it.

Whether the Galaxy S24 will follow suit is unclear, but it’s our best guess.
However, inflation remains a factor in the phone industry, and a small price bump to any of the company’s models is easy to imagine. With the S24+ potentially missing from the lineup, a higher price for the base S24 is possible.

The release window seems unlikely to move from its usual late January or early February launch period.

Faqs

1) Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra could get Stacked Battery tech, 65W fast charging.Details?

Ans) The upcoming Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra smartphone is rumored to feature 65W fast charging technology, derived from stacked batteries used in electric vehicles (EVs), according to the tipster, RGcloudS.

Samsung is said to be in the prototyping phase of this technology, with plans to incorporate it primarily in the Galaxy S24 Ultra, and possibly in the Galaxy S24 Plus.

However, due to increased costs, it is unlikely to be implemented across all three flagship models in 2023. In addition to the advanced battery technology, Samsung may introduce 65W fast charging in the Galaxy S24 Ultra and Galaxy S24 Plus.

To address overheating concerns, a cooling gel will be applied to the stacked battery. This technology not only increases battery capacity but also enhances device durability by making them shock-resistant and reducing the risk of swelling.

As per the report, Samsung is expected to initiate production at its Cheonan plant in Seoul, but the necessary manufacturing equipment for stacked batteries has not yet arrived. A pilot run of these batteries is scheduled in China, but due to limited quantities, they will likely be reserved for the Galaxy S24 Ultra.

As for other specifications, the Galaxy S24 Ultra may feature minor upgrade to its 10x zoom sensor, while the Exynos 2400 chips might make a comeback in the Galaxy S24 series.

Samsung is preparing for the launch of its new foldable smartphones at the Galaxy Unpacked event in Korea on July 26. Alongside the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5 and Galaxy Z Fold5, the event is also expected to introduce the Galaxy Watch 6 and Galaxy Tab S9 series.

2) Samsung preps ‘some AI technology’ for Galaxy S24.Details?

Ans) Next week, Samsung will lift the curtain from the bundle of new innovative devices. Meanwhile, we are already hearing more and more about the next year’s flagship phones. A new leak reveals Samsung is developing some AI technology for the Galaxy S24 series.

Trusted tipster IceUniverse today revealed that Samsung is working on the development of “some AI technology” for the Galaxy S24 series, likely to launch in early 2024. The source didn’t reveal much regarding AI technology but said that it’s not about Bixby.

Since the launch of ChatGPT, smartphone makers are exploring possible ways to utilize generative AI capabilities in mobile products. If the leak is correct, there will be a significant role of the chipset that will be used in the Galaxy S24 to introduce AI capabilities.

Vi One vs Airtel Black: What is the Difference?

Vi One vs Airtel Black
Vi One vs Airtel Black

It goes without saying the Vi One recharge bundle will compete directly with Airtel Black. The latter is a service that has been in existence for two years now and has amassed a number of users.

It offers access to mobile recharge, Airtel Digital TV DTH connection, and Airtel Xstream fiber broadband connection but goes beyond that.

Airtel Black also offers benefits like a dedicated relationship team, priority resolution, call pick-up in 60 seconds, free service visits, and Buy Now and Pay Later on Airtel Shop.

Another best part of the bundle is that it lets users create a custom plan by combining any two or more services (mobile, DTH, and broadband).

If you add any new service to your existing service, Airtel offers the first 30 days of free access to that service. There are various Airtel Black plans, starting at Rs 699, to choose from that also include OTT subscriptions.

Faqs

2) Vodafone Idea launches ‘Vi One’ with bundled fiber, prepaid services: Report Details?

Ans) Vodafone Idea has launched a new ‘Vi One’ bundled service wherein the telecom operator’s customers can access fiber and prepaid mobile plans, along with over-the-top (OTT) under a single plan, TelecomTalk reported Friday.

The service is similar to rival Bharti Airtel’s ‘Airtel Black’ service, launched in 2021, which also offers access to fiber, DTH, and mobile services under a single plan.

Airtel Black allows a customer to bundle two or more of Airtel services (fiber, DTH, mobile) together to become Airtel Black – which entitles the customer to one single bill. The entry-level price of Airtel Black is Rs 998/month (2 mobile, 1 DTH connection), going all the way up to Rs 2,099/month (3 mobile, 1 fiber, 1 DTH connection).

WhatsApp Beta Now Allows Users Start a Group Call With Up To 15 People

WhatsApp Beta

HIGHLIGHTS

* WhatsApp lets you add up to 32 people in video calls.
* But when starting a new video call you can only add seven people at once.
* WhatsApp is now increasing this limit to 15 people.
* The newly increased group call initiation limit works for both voice and video calls.
* The change has been spotted in the latest WhatsApp Android beta.

WhatsApp has released numerous features in the past year or so that have helped it become more than just a messaging app. At the same time, it has also improved its core functionalities, texting and calling.

The latest WhatsApp beta release is no different, as the company has increased the number of users you can start a group call with.
This is a welcome change for those who are part of groups with a large number of users.

WhatsApp Doubles Group Call Initiation User Limit

WhatsApp Doubles Group Call Initiation User Limit

The latest WhatsApp Android beta has been spotted by folks over at WABetaInfo with the new change.
The beta build version is 2.23.15.14, and it doubles the number of people you can start a WhatsApp group call with. The newly spotted limit is 15 compared to just 7 on stable builds.

This is a significant improvement and specifically beneficial for anyone who has to take part in group calls consistently with many users.

You can now select up to 15 people while starting a group call, and the remaining ones can be invited once the call has begun. The new limit works for group voice and video calls on the latest Android beta.

It is unknown when WhatsApp will expand the change to iOS users and stable versions. If you want to check it on your particular device, simply launch WhatsApp and begin a group call. You should be able to add more than 7 people if the newly released limit is available.

WhatsApp has not made any changes to the maximum number of users that can join a group call.
The limit is unchanged at 32, which was introduced on Android and iOS last year. It started testing the increased user limit for Windows users earlier this month, which was restricted to just 8 users.

Another noteworthy change introduced by WhatsApp recently is the ability to chat with unknown numbers without saving them. This will save users from the hassle of saving new phone contacts and then deleting them later.

WhatsApp has released the standalone Wear OS 3 app for compatible smartwatches. The app was first announced at Google I/O 2023 and was finally made available.

It supports starting a new chat, making calls, scrolling through chats, quick replies, and sending emojis.

WhatsApp has also improved the method to transfer chats between smartphones. It has added support for QR code scanning that will work when using two phones running the same operating system.

They should also be connected to the same WiFi network and have their location turned on.

Now, visit Settings > Chats > Chat Transfer on the old smartphone, which will generate a QR code. Scan this code through your new smartphone, and the chat transfer process will begin.

WhatsApp Video Call up to 15 People

WhatsApp Video Call
WhatsApp Video Call

WhatsApp users can now add up to 15 people when starting a new video call. This feature has started rolling out to WhatsApp beta users on Android, according to WABetaInfo.

This feature is reportedly available with the Android versions 2.23.15.14, 2.23.15.10, 2.23.15.11, and 2.23.15.13.

WhatsApp beta users on Android can update the app to these versions to get the latest feature. Since it’s on beta, the rollout will be gradual and it might not be available to all users at once.

The process to start group video calls on WhatsApp is quite easy and simple. You open the calls tab on WhatsApp and select the create call button on top.

You can then select the option to start a new group video call then select the participants from your contact list.

At present, you can choose only seven people for the group video call. Once the call starts, you can add more participants up to 32 in the call.

With the latest update, the limit has been increased to 15 participants. While this might not be a major update, it can still be helpful who want to host large group video calls. Also, having to add participants after the call starts can be cumbersome too.

As mentioned above, this feature is available only in beta and for WhatsApp users on Android. It isn’t available on iOS yet.

Android users can opt for WhatsApp’s beta programme to get the latest update, and also try out unreleased features. As for the official rollout, WhatsApp is yet to make any announcement.

Faqs

1) OnePlus 12R 5G: What You Need to Know.Details?

Ans) The OnePlus 12R 5G is an upcoming flagship-grade smartphone at a premium price. The phone’s specifications and design renders have leaked online. Based on the leaked design renders shared by OnLeaks with MySmartPrice, the 12R 5G will sport a slightly curved display on the front, similar to the 11R 5G. The 12R 5G’s display has a hole-punch cutout at the top centre for the front camera. The bezels around the display, including the chin, are also fairly thin.

OnePlus will follow the same strategy for the back design of the 12R 5G as it did for the 11R 5G. The triple-camera setup and an LED flash module sit inside a circular housing, which is resting on a module that merges into the frame.

On the right edge, the 12R 5G has the iconic alert slider, below which is the power button. The left edge has room for the volume rocker. We can also see the USB Type-C port, a microphone cutout and the speaker grille at the bottom edge.

The device will feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC under the hood, which is currently Qualcomm’s top-tier flagship smartphone SoC before it unveils the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC in October. The tipster also revealed that OnePlus will launch the phone with up to 16GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

The device will get some major camera upgrades. It will now feature a 32MP telephoto camera sensor on the back with support for 2x optical zoom. There will also be a 50MP primary camera and an 8MP ultra-wide camera. In comparison, the 11R 5G came with a 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP macro sensor. For selfies, the 12R 5G will feature a 16MP front camera.

On the front, there will be a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with support for a 120Hz refresh rate. The curved screen will also offer a 1.5K resolution support. Under the hood, the 12R 5G will pack a beefy 5500mAh battery, which is about 10 percent bigger than the 11R’s cell. It will also offer 100W fast charging support out of the box.

In terms of software, the 12R 5G will boot Oxygen OS 14, which will likely be based on Android 14. Lastly, OnLeaks tells us that the 12R 5G launch event will be hosted in China in January 2024. While we cannot confirm the India launch timeline of the phone, it might happen alongside or soon after the 12R 5G’s China debut.

iPhone 15 Pro Models ( iPhone 15 Pro & iPhone 15 Pro Max ) Running Into Display Production Issues, Could Face Major Supply Shortages After Launch

HIGHLIGHTS

1. iPhone 15 Pro series is rumoured to feature extremely thin bezels.
2. The new manufacturing process could lead to delay in the production of the upcoming Pro iPhone series.
3. Apple might still host the iPhone launch event in September.

iPhone 15 series launch event might be held later than expected. Apple was rumoured to host the iPhone 15 launch event in September this year.

The upcoming Apple event could introduce four new iPhone models, namely the iPhone 15, 15 Plus, 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max. A recent report claimed that Apple’s upcoming iPhone launch event could be delayed by a few weeks.

Adding to the details is a new report, which claims that Apple’s Pro lineup of iPhones launching this year might hit stores a bit later than expected. According to a new report by The Information (via), Apple is facing production issues for the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max.

The report stated that Apple’s top-end iPhones launching later this year could face supply constraints owing to display production issues. Apple is rumoured to launch its upcoming 2023 iPhone Pro models with extremely thin bezels around the display.

The delay could be due to the “new manufacturing process” for the display design used by Apple.

According to the report, the displays made by LG for the iPhone 15 Pro models have had issues, which was discovered during the “risk ramp” stage of production by Foxconn, another supplier of Apple.

iPhone 15 Pro models
iPhone 15 Pro models

During this process, Foxconn makes “hundreds of thousands of units of the device to test how reliably they can build the product without defects.”

“One person with direct knowledge said the LG-made displays have failed reliability tests after it goes through a new process known as low injection pressure overmolding or LIPO. The process involves Apple fusing the display into its metal shell prior to assembly. Apple is repeatedly tweaking the design of LG’s display so that it can pass the tests,” the report stated.

“The problem is more pronounced with the iPhone 15 Pro Max, suggesting there will be a more severe shortage of that model than the iPhone 15 Pro,” the report added.

Apple might not delay the launch but instead make its Pro iPhones available a bit later than usual. The company has done so in the past. For instance, the iPhone 14 Plus went on sale in October last year, whereas the rest of the lineup was available soon after the launch.

Apple is reportedly facing production issues for the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max. A new report today says that these devices could face severe supply constraints in September due to Apple’s plans to significantly reduce the size of the bezel around the display.

Today’s report comes from The Information, which cites “two people with direct knowledge of the issue.” The sources explain that Apple is “using a new manufacturing process” for the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max displays.

iPhone 15 Pro Models

As 9to5Mac has reported, both the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max will offer dramatically slimmer bezels around the display.
This means the devices will feature larger displays, while the physical size of the devices themselves will remain largely unchanged – if not slightly smaller.

The process of manufacturing these displays has reportedly revealed issues with displays made by LG. The problems were uncovered as Foxconn began the “risk ramp” stage of production.

During this process, Foxconn makes “hundreds of thousands of units of the device to test how reliably they can build the product without defects.”

Apple is reportedly unlikely to delay the launch of the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max.

Instead, the company hopes to move forward with a release in September, just in limited quantities. “The problem is more pronounced with the iPhone 15 Pro Max, suggesting there will be a more severe shortage of that model than the iPhone 15 Pro,” the report says.

Displays made by Samsung are said to be unaffected by the problem, which means Apple can “continue to assemble a significant amount of units.”

The Information’s report follows an analyst report from Bank of America on Thursday morning, which also warned of potential iPhone 15 Pro delays. That same analyst also correctly predicted iPhone 12 delays in 2020.

Apple’s Pro iPhone models are said to get some major upgrades over the non-Pro iPhones this year. The high-end iPhones will reportedly feature a titanium chassis.

All four iPhones will sport a hole-punch cutout and a wide punch-hole cutout for the Dynamic Island. The 120Hz ProMotion display tech will remain exclusive to the Pro series this year as well.

Apple is likely to launch its Pro models with the new A17 Bionic SoC. The devices might launch with up to 8GB of RAM as well.
Some rumours claim that the battery capacity will be slightly bigger than the outgoing models.

On the back, the iPhone 15 Pro series will reportedly feature a new Sony IMX9-series 48MP primary camera. It will be accompanied by a 12MP ultra-wide camera.

The 15 Pro is said to feature a 12MP telephoto camera, whereas the top-of-the-line 15 Pro Max will feature a 12MP periscope lens with up to 6x optical zoom.

As expected, the setup will feature a LiDAR sensor and TrueTone flash. For selfies, there will be a 12MP front camera. The new iPhones will boot iOS 17 out of the box.

Faqs

1) Apple may face ‘severe’ iPhone 15 shortage over production issue, report says.Details?

Ans) Hoping to get your hands on an iPhone 15 Pro or iPhone 15 Pro Max when the new phones come out in the fall? Well, you may be in for a wait.

Apple is experiencing production issues caused by a new manufacturing process designed to significantly reduce the size of the bezel around the display, according to a report from The Information on Thursday.

Citing two people with “direct knowledge” of the situation, the report claims that the Pro versions of Apple’s upcoming iPhone 15 could, as a consequence of the assembly issues, experience supply constraints when the handset launches in just a few months’ time.

“The problem is more pronounced with the iPhone 15 Pro Max, suggesting there will be a more severe shortage of that model than the iPhone 15 Pro,” the report said.

The iPhone manufacturer, Foxconn, is believed to have discovered the issue as it started a process known as the “risk ramp,” which involves making hundreds of thousands of units to see how reliably the product can be assembled without any defects.

One of The Information’s sources said the LG-made displays have failed to pass these reliability checks, with issues reportedly occurring around a process that fuses the display into its metal shell. Apple is apparently working on adjusting the design of LG’s display so that it can resolve the issue.

Notably, Apple’s Samsung-made displays are not thought to be experiencing the same problem, enabling the tech giant to produce a large number of units in time for the handset’s launch in the fall.

Reducing the size of the bezel should give the phone a slightly larger screen than the 6.1-inch display on the iPhone 14 Pro and the 6.7-inch display on the iPhone 14 Pro Max. This will be one of the features that sets it apart from the more budget-friendly iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus, whose bezels are expected to remain the same.

2) iPhone 15 Pro Models Running Into Display Production Issues, Could Face Major Supply Shortages After Launch.Details?

Ans) Apple’s iPhone 15 lineup is mere two months away, and we are expecting major changes in the standard and ‘Pro’ models. The company will keep up with its trend and announce the iPhone 15 lineup in the first half of September. The handsets will be available to the general public a week after the announcement. It is now being reported that the iPhone 15 Pro models are running into display production issues which might cause ‘severe shortages in terms of supply.

iPhone 15 Pro could face ‘severe shortages’ due to display issues by LG, announcement slated to take place on time

It was previously reported that the iPhone 15 Pro models will feature slimmer bezels, potentially one of the smallest on any smartphone. To cut down the bezel size on the iPhone 15 Pro, Apple had to introduce a new production method. The new display manufacturing process for the iPhone 15 Pro models will likely be the reason for supply shortages. The details were shared by The Information, suggesting that the iPhone 15 Pro Max supply will be largely affected.

As mentioned earlier, Apple’s iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max will launch with slimmer bezels at launch. However, the chassis of the device is rumored to stay the same, allowing the company to fit a bigger display in the same housing. Since the demand for the devices is expected to be higher than the standard models, the iPhone 15 Pro displays will be manufactured by LG and Samsung both. LG’s display manufacturing process is causing issues, resulting in poor reliability in the “risk ramp” stage.

The issue came to light when Foxconn began its “risk ramp” production. The “risk ramp” stage is where a supplier produces hundreds and thousands of units to check the reliability of the manufacturing process and the devices before final mass production begins.

Henceforth, if the company does not take the required measures, we could potentially see delays in the production and the launch of the iPhone 15 Pro models.

Take note that the company will not delay the announcement of the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro models. Apple will host its special event in September to announce the new iPhone 15 lineup and the Apple Watch Series 9. Mainly, the iPhone 15 Pro Max supply shortages are expected, with the 6.1-inch model slated to be steady in terms of production.

Additionally, only LG displays are causing issues, as Samsung displays are unaffected.
It remains to be seen if Apple will take additional steps to ramp up production ahead of the iPhone 15 Pro launch. It was also previously reported that the standard iPhone 15 models will also feature a delay. We will keep you guys updated on the latest, so be sure to stick around.

Infinix GT Series

HIGHLIGHTS

* The Infinix GT 10 Pro comes with a Nothing Phone-like semi-transparent back design.

* There will be two phones in the series, featuring Mediatek Dimensity chipsets.

* The phones are expected to come with 108MP triple camera and optimisations for popular games.

* Infinix GT 10 Pro+ leaked images show a transparent rear panel.

* The handset is tipped to be powered by a Dimensity 8050 SoC.

* The Infinix GT 10 Pro+ appears to resemble the Nothing Phone 2.

Infinix is said to announce a new GT series phone in India next month. Tipster Mukul Sharma claims on Twitter that the device is rumored to bear a striking resemblance to the recently launched Nothing Phone (2).

The Glyph Interface LED lights, which have captivated consumers on Nothing phones, could also feature in the design of Infinix’s new offering, as per the tipster.

This move seems to indicate that brands like Infinix are aiming to provide users with a similar experience at a more affordable price point.

The render shared by the tipster showcases an intriguing twist, suggesting that the Infinix phone might incorporate a unique Glyph pattern to enhance its distinctive appeal.

However, Nothing’s CEO, Carl Pei, has taken to Twitter to express his intent to protect the Glyph interface.
Pei asserts that the design is safeguarded by Nothing’s patents, and says that it is time to be prepared for potential legal action to prevent infringement by other smartphone manufacturers.

As of now, there is no official confirmation regarding the launch date of Infinix’s new GT series phone.

It remains to be seen if Infinix has indeed developed a device resembling the sought-after Nothing Phone.

Should the rumors prove true, it will be intriguing to witness how Infinix intends to convince users to choose their offering over its inspiration.

The tipster claims that the new Infinix phone, resembling the Nothing Phone, will hit the Indian market in August, generating further anticipation among consumers.

While specific details about the upcoming Infinix phone are scarce, there are speculations that it could be equipped with either a dual or triple rear camera setup.

Moreover, rumors suggest that the new Infinix GT phone may target gaming enthusiasts, although further information regarding its features remains undisclosed.

Looks like Infinix is Set to Shake Up the Indian Smartphone Market with its latest innovation

The first image re-posted by Mukul Sharma from the brand’s community platform X Club gives the sneak peak of GT.

The device looks very similar to the recently launched Nothing phone.
But given the brands track record of launching innovative technologies and feature led devices at competitive pricing, consumers definitely have something exciting to look forward to in the smartphone space!

From the current user sentiments coming in and the overall look and feel, this device seems to go heavy on gaming.

Infinix GT Series Initial Leaked Look & Design

Based on the initial look of the device, it appears that Infinix is going all-in on gaming.
The GT Series impresses with its incorporation of Mini LEDs, creating a distinctive and interactive backlight interface.

The LED feature lights up when the users launch the game and inform them of notifications as well as charging status updates.

However, the GT Series offers much more than just gaming features. Infinix’s commitment to design excellence is evident in the series, boasting a sleek and captivating aesthetic bound to attract attention.

The phone’s standout feature is its cyber mecha design, displaying Bright Orange highlights in the Cyber black variant and colour changing backpanel in the Mirage Silver variant that changes to steel blue and dusty pink when exposed to UV light.

In addition to its impressive design, the GT Series delivers a clean XOS environment based on Android 13, free from unnecessary bloatware and irritating advertisements commonly found on other devices.

Anticipated to launch in August 2023, Infinix’s GT Series is set to make a significant impact in the smartphone market once again.

According to a new report by GSMArena, the vanilla model in the new series, the Infinix GT 10 Pro is coming to India in the month of August, and then release elsewhere. It is expected to provide “high gaming features” at an “affordable price.”

The report also revealed some official images of the phone showcasing its semi-transparent design in two colour options. However, the GT 10 Pro does seem to lack LED strips though, so it may not light up like the Phone (2) after all.

As per the report, the phone is tipped to house a MediaTek Dimensity series chipset. It will feature a triple camera setup with 108MP main camera and a ring-like flashlight design.

Infinix has also optimized this phone for popular games such as PUBG, MLBB, and Free Fire for a better gaming experience.

When it comes to the software, the phone will come with Android 13-based XOS 13 and receive just one Android upgrade and two years of security patches.

Interestingly, the box of the phone will transform into an eco-friendly amplifier for Infinix GT 10 Pro’s in-built speaker. We reported on the device’s existence back in March and it was expected to be a flagship model in the brand’s range however that does not seem to be the case anymore.

Earlier this week, Infinix revealed via a press release that the company is working on a smartphone that will resemble the Nothing Phone 2, sharing a diagram of the phones next to each other with a similar curved LED notification strip located at the centre of the rear panel.

At the time, the Chinese smartphone firm had suggested that the phone will debut as part of a new GT series of phones aimed at gamers. The images leaked on Weibo match the diagram shared by Infinix, including the camera module that is aligned to the top left corner of the phone..

Nothing CEO Carl Pei responded to a tipster who posted the information leaked by the company, stating that it was “Time to get the lawyers ready”.
However, it is currently unclear whether these LED strips on the Infinix GT 10 Pro+ will mimic the functionality of Nothing’s smartphones.

gaming smartphone

According to latest information , Infinix is working on a gaming-oriented smartphone that is due to launch in the first week of August, starting in India.
This will be called Infinix GT 10 Pro, and is aiming to provide high gaming features at an affordable price.
The phone’s back seems to adopt a Nothing-like semi-transparent design, although the design is quite far from that of the Nothing phones.

The camera island especially seems like it’s from an entirely different world. There’s also a prevailing ‘gaming phone’ aesthetic here, which is fitting. We see three camera sensors on the back, and a ring LED flash.
The main sensor will have 108 MP resolution according to the inscription on the diagonal stripe inside the camera island.

There’s a Dimensity chipset at the helm, although our source hasn’t shared which exact one. We do however know that games like PUBG, MLBB, and Free Fire will be specially optimized to deliver impressive frame rates and stunning visuals on the GT 10 Pro.

The box lets you use it to build an eco-friendly music amplifier, so it doesn’t just sit around on a shelf, useless, once you’ve taken the phone out.

The Infinix GT 10 Pro will be available in at least two colors, as seen below – a darker one and a white. It will run XOS 13 based on Android 13.

The experience will be close to stock, and the phone will get one major Android update and two years of security updates, as will all members of the GT series.
GT 10 Pro’s launch is still a few weeks away.

iQOO Neo 7 Pro – Design and Build Quality

iQOO Neo 7 Pro – Design
iQOO Neo 7 Pro – Design

The very first glance at iQOO Neo 7 pro will remind you of that many other iQOO smartphones in the past and that is because the brand has not made any significant changes in the industrial design concept.

Now, the device comes in two colour variants, Dark Storm (Black) and Fearless Flame (Orange).

The black variant of this phone has an all glass panel on the rear. We are not sure what glass protection has iQOO used here, the Dark Storm variant does get Schott Xensation UP protection.

Then we have the Fearless Flame variant, which is following the popular 2023 trend of vegan leather back panels.

A lot of phones this year have launched with vegan leatherback that includes the Motorola H40, the Realme 11 Pro Series and now iQOO Neo 7 Pro Fearless Flame variant as well.

iQOO Neo 7 Pro
iQOO Neo 7 Pro Specs

The overall look and feel of the device is great. The camera model slightly sticks out from the rear panel and causes a bit of table wobble, which may or may not be an issue for users.

This entirely depends on a person’s preferences.

Another design aspect that we immediately noticed is the USB 2.0 type-c port in this phone. We wish the makers have pushed a bit further and added a USB 3.1 port instead.

Moreover, instead of a memory card slot, you get a slot with two dual nano SIM support. Also, in case any of you are wondering, iQOO Neo 7 Pro has no IP rating.

  • 78-inch AMOLED Display with 1220 x 2712 resolution and 144Hz refresh rate
  • Bezel-less display with punch-hole design
  • 1300 nits peak brightness

The iQOO Neo 7 Pro sports a 6.78-inch AMOLED display, which offers vibrant colours, deep blacks, and excellent contrast levels.

The display provides an immersive viewing experience, making it ideal for multimedia consumption and gaming. One of the standout features of the display is its refresh rate of 144 Hz.

This high refresh rate results in smooth and fluid animations, reducing motion blur and enhancing the overall visual experience.

With 1220 x 2712 pixels of picture resolution, the display ensures sharp and detailed visuals. Whether you’re browsing through photos, watching videos, or playing games, the high resolution brings out fine details and enhances the overall visual quality.

The aspect ratio of 20:9 and pixel density of 439 ppi adds to the immersive viewing experience and makes the display produce crisp and clear visuals.

iQOO Neo 7 Pro

The iQOO Neo 7 Pro screen is bezel-less and comes with a punch-hole design pattern. This design choice maximizes the screen-to-body ratio, providing an expansive viewing area and an immersive feel. The absence of thick bezels ensures that the focus remains on the content displayed on the screen.

The display is a capacitive touchscreen with multi-touch support, allowing for smooth and accurate touch interactions. Whether it’s scrolling, typing, or playing games, the touch response is precise and responsive, enhancing the overall user experience.

In terms of brightness, the display boasts a maximum brightness of 1300 nits. This high brightness level ensures excellent visibility, even under direct sunlight or bright environments. It allows comfortable use of the device outdoors without straining eyes.

8) How is iQOO Neo 7 Pro design and build?

Ans) During the limited time I spent with the phone, the iQOO Neo 7 felt like a sleek device with a lot of potential at a glance. At the back, you have a leather finish panel with iQOO’s subtle yet unmissable branding resting neatly at the center.

Looking closely, you will notice a metallic, copper feel to the branding, and it looks quite brilliant, in my opinion.
A metallic copper frame surrounds the phone’s camera module and gives it a subtle yet evident lift. The camera lenses do not protrude and neatly fit into the camera module, and I personally love the way it looks.

The outer edges of the phone also come in a copper metallic build and, in my opinion, are the most attractive part of the phone’s design. The copper colour compliments the orange panel perfectly and there could have been no better colour option for the metallic edges.
The leather finish of the back panel also adds to the phone’s elegance and gives it a classy look, along with resulting in a great grip. Even though the phone comes with a cover in the box, the phone never slips .

9) How is iQOO Neo 7 Pro performance and camera?

Ans) During my brief usage of the phone, I scrolled through my social media feed, browsed the web, watched an episode of The Good Doctor, and played BGMI for about half an hour.
Scrolling through social media and browsing the web was an absolute delight and I have no complaints so far. The apps opened quite quickly and I was also able to switch between different apps seamlessly. iQOO claims that you can open up to 36 apps at once without facing any problems and we will surely explore this part in the detailed review.

Scrolling, with the phone’s 120Hz refresh rate, is a great experience on this device and the moment you begin using the phone, you feel like you are using a high-end device that will result in a consistently strong performance.

I didn’t notice any issues and the sound quality was also top-notch. Be it Netflix’s ta-dum sound or the show’s short yet intriguing clip, everything sounded crystal clear. The sound didn’t necessarily fill the room, but it wasn’t inadequate either.

The gaming experience on the phone was also satisfactory. The moment I dived into the world of BGMI, the phone automatically launched the multi-turbo acceleration and gave me the option of toggling the Game Assistant by gently swiping right at the top left corner.

The Game Assistant lets you enable the Esports mode, reject calls, record screen and more. We’ll explore this further in our detailed review but as of now, the experience of playing BGMI on HD graphics settings with a high frame rate was quite pleasing.

Nothing Phone 2 – Design and Build Quality

Nothing Phone 2 – Design
Nothing Phone 2 – Design

The Phone 2 presents a much more refined and premium design compared to its predecessor. The flagship version also gets a significant number of upgrades across the board that impresses both on paper and in hand.

Despite being slightly thicker on paper, the Phone 2 cleverly utilizes design elements that give it a perceived thinner profile when held in hand.

With a thickness of 8.5mm, the Phone 2 surpasses Phone 1’s 8.3mm measurement but achieves a visual effect through thoughtful design choices that make it appear thinner.
Contributing to the Phone 2’s perceived thinness is the reduction of the aluminium mid-frame on the sides.

By reducing it by 1mm, Nothing has managed to create an illusion of slenderness, resulting in a sleek and elegant feel when holding the device.
This attention to detail is commendable as it not only enhances the aesthetics but also contributes to an improved user experience.

The 3D pillow glass at the back curves around the edges and instantly makes the phone look premium to look at.

The transparent design aesthetic, that we have previously seen in Nothing Buds and Nothing Phone 1, has now been extended to the Type-C cable bundled with the Nothing Phone 2.

The Type-C cable has a transparent middle part with Nothing branding inside. The Nothing Phone peripherals now adopting a similar design establishes the brand’s individualistic approach to positioning itself in the market.

Nothing Phone 2 – The Glyph Interface

Nothing Phone 2 - The Glyph Interface
Nothing Phone 2 – The Glyph Interface

Undoubtedly the most hyped aspect of the Nothng phone is the Glyph Interface since the first time it was introduced before the launch of Phone 1. This time, with Phone 2, we are getting a better design and a more capable Glyph interface.

The enhanced Glyph Interface has more LED segments to allow greater customizability and functionality. The Glyph Interface can now serve as a visual countdown and progress tracker for ride or delivery services.

It also offers additional functionalities such as a volume checker, and timer. When receiving a notification from selected contacts or apps, the top-right LED segment will remain on until it has been addressed.

The Glyph interface in Phone 2 has been redesigned. The new interface now has an extra number of LED segments compared to Phone 1.

The upgrades in design give it the ability to assign personalized light and sound sequences to contacts and apps. When receiving a notification from them, the top-right LED segment will remain on until addressed.

Nothing Phone 2 – Camera Hardware

Nothing Phone 2
Nothing Phone 2 Camera

The Nothing Phone 2 will have a 50-megapixel dual camera setup on the rear. The primary lens has been upgraded to IMX890 from the previous IMX766 used in Phone 1.

The Ultra-Wide lens, on the other hand, is Samsung ISOCELL GN1. On the front, you get a 32-megapixel sensor for selfies and video calls.
The front camera too has been upgraded to an IMX615, which is a 30 per cent larger sensor and can capture more light and field.

With Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chip enabling camera processing, the Phone 2 gets an 18-bit ISP that captures over 4,000 times the camera data than the Phone 1’s 14-bit predecessor.

The phone is bringing an advanced HDR to address the over-exposure of images when in direct sunlight. The advanced HDR breaks the image into 8 frames of different exposure and then stitches them back together to get the best results.

There is a significant upgrade here from the 3-frame break out that the usual Phone 1 HDR was capable of.

The Nothing Phone 2 seems to have also addressed the issues most camera face in capturing moving subjects. The brand is introducing Motion Capture 2.0 which intelligently detects moving objects to ensure distorting-free and noise-free final images.

It supports 4K recording at 60fps on the main rear camera. The main lens also has EIS (Electronic Image Stabilization) and OIS (Optical Image Stabilization). The front camera records at 1080p at 60fps.

Nothing Phone 2 – Processor and Nothing OS 2.0

Nothing OS 2.0.

Phone 2 will be equipped with the advanced Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, and feature Nothing OS 2.0 with a completely redesigned user interface.

8+ Gen 1 is a powerful processor for multitasking or gaming. It is definitely a significant upgrade enhance the overall performance of the Phone 2, making it capable of handling all types of tasks smoothly.

It operates on Nothing OS 2.0 based on Android 13. With an emphasis on functional customisation, Nothing OS 2.0 allows interactions with the smartphone to be more intentional and mindful.

Nothing has reworked the home and lock screen utility with widgets to access key functions without opening the apps. The Nothing OS 2.0 also feature a new monochrome layout and an option to remove the app label.

Moreover, the operating system also introduces several new features. From app labels to grid design to widget size, the latest iteration of Nothing’s Android skin lets you customise several aspects of the operating system.

Nothing Phone (2) Pros & Cons

Pros

Nothing Phone (2) Pros
Nothing Phone (2) Pros
  • Presentation:- From the get go, the phone give you a premium feel by the unique and well designed packaging that the phone comes in.
Apart from the actual phone inside you do also get a cable and sim ejector tool which stay true to its transparent/ look through apperance.
  • Build:- The phone has a very premium to look at design and finish to it, it looks distinct and something that nobody else has to offer, mainly being the transparent back design and glyph interface which makes up its brand identity.

Holding and using the phone feels very solid too with the flat edge to edge display, metal rails and the ever so slightly curved back panel which makes it look good and feel more comfortable than the phone (1).
Although the phone does seem a little less dense that it seems when you do pick it up.

  • Diplay:- Probably the part i enjoyed most while testing the device was it’s display. The flat amoled panel looks great with it’s symmetrical bezels and the tiny punch hole in the centre which is easy to forget about.

The display has vivid but realistic colour representation, the viewing angles are great with little to no colour shifting issues, it’s nice and snappy with the variable 120hz refresh rate, and it gets nice and bright with its 1600 nit brightness put in the sun.

For what it is, there doesn’t seem to be much I’d want more from a display in this class. I would like to see even slimmer bezels all around the next time though.

  • Haptics:- The phone seems to have an x-axis haptic motor which does a great job at feeling tight and fast in its response.

I also loved the integration of these Haptics in many areas especially the glyph paired ones which work very well with the lighting patterns at the back.
The only thing I would like to improve is the strength as it has room for improvement.

  • Battery Life:- The phone with it’s more efficient yet powerful chipset and a larger cell size from its predecessor provides a better experience in terms of battery life.

With mixed usage of WiFi and mobile data and also using the camera app for quite some time paired with YouTube and internet browsing, I was more than comfortable in getting a full day of use with 10-15% still in the tank.
Safe to say it’s very difficult to kill it in one single day of use.

  • Performance:- The phone comes with last year’s flagship chip (SD 8+gen1) and it’s a beast of a performer, not only does it fly through daily tasks like watching videos or social media apps, it also has no problems in running heavy games at high settings with ease and very few frames are dropped.
All in all a very solid performer and this level of performance is more than enough for most of the people.
  • Notable, Incredible, Upgraded Glyph interface:- Yes, it’s a gimmick for the most part but it is what makes this phone unique and nothing have integrated it in a much better manner than the phone (1) for it to be more useful and like to see more functionality moving forward.
For the most part though, it’s more of a fashion statement than a feature and i don’t mind that.

  • Cameras:- Being a big camera enthusiast, I love testing phone cameras out and this one sadly didn’t impress me quite as much.
For what the phone’s asking price is, i expected better camera hardware and software to be implemented. For the good, the camera does seem to have good stabilization and noise reduction, but apart from those two things, it’s a mix bag.

The HDR for starters is a big hit or miss, and even when it does hit, it’s not very good at it and i consistently get blown out highlights, and a weird big that i detected was when shooting into a bright source of light, the processing seems to spawn dark black bands in the photo out of nowhere.

Secondly even though the noise reduction on surface seems good in daylight situations, the moment light starts to go down, there is a huge dip in the quality as the phone resorts to extreme smoothening which sacrifices a lot of details in the process, this is very evident when you zoom into pictures.

There also seems to be quite a white balance difference between the main and ultrawide sensors which is still solved by software in photos, but videos do suffer quite a bit from it.
The night mode for the most part is satisfactory except, I’d want to have a manual toggle to switch it on in some instances and also when the auto night mode does trigger, it consistently produces crushed shadows.

The video department is where it needs most improvement, the HDR is botched with blown highlights and extreme smoothening at night. When I did turn on the HDR video mode, it sacrificed a lot of detail and didn’t really do much in preserving the highlights or shadows.
I would’ve also liked to see a dedicated telephoto module for the price.

  • Speakers:- Even thought it has a sterio sound setup and does get decently loud, the highs and lows are very weak with the kids being very dominant. The high pitched sounds are mushed in the vocals and the bass is almost non existent even at the max volume.
  • Call quality:- The microphones do a good job at cancelling the noise in the background but the earpiece itself isn’t very loud and clear to listen to and i couldn’t understand a single word from the other end when I was out in live music event.
  • Charging speed:– Even thought it has a new and improved 45w support, the phone still takes just under an hour to fully charge which again is an area where many other smartphones have improved a lot and can do the same thing in half the time with ease. I’d like to see 65w support the next time around.
  • Fingerprint scanner:- The two main gripes i have with the scanner are its location and speed.
It’s placed way too low and I didn’t seem to get used to it, and secondly it’s not the fastest one out there with me having to press for quite some time and that too in a very specific way and area for it to read my finger.
  • Pricing:- The phone starts at 45k which is a lot to ask for in the Indian market that too for a brand as new as nothing.
Even though they have made many improvements in the second iteration, it would’ve been better to price it around the 40k mark for it to be much more competitive as there are many more well known brands under 50k which people know more about.

Faqs

1) Nothing Phone 2- What’s New From Nothing Phone 1?

Ans) Phone 2 package follows the same tap-to-rip-open concept of tearing the top packaging. Once you tear open the top Dark Grey packaging, you get a separate white colour box inside that slides out.

This inside box is solid and self-contained, which you can keep with you for later in case you want to resale this phone.

Inside the box, everything greats you at once with all items placed together in their carved-out spaces.
The first thing you notice is the Nothing Phone 2 neatly tucked in a phone size cut out.

Next to it, there’s some safety information and a warranty card.

There’s a new semi-transparent Nothing USB Type-C to USB Type-C cable, and a SIM card ejector tool following the brand’s iconic transparent design concept.

2) What is the Guide to using the Nothing Phone 2 Glyph Interface?

Ans) One of the interesting functionalities added to the Glyph Interface of Phone 2 is the Glyph Timer.
So, you can set the Glyph timer on the phone and keep the phone upside down, an LED segment works as the progress bar for the timer and you don’t have to keep checking the timer to know the progress.

The second feature is where things could get really interesting.
With Phone 2, Nothing has opened the Glyph API for third-party integration.

This means that once integrated with a third-party app such as Uber or Zomato, you can actually track your Uber and food delivery using the Glyph Interface.

The possibilities with API integration are endless.
However, it’s worth noting that while Uber and Zomata will come integrated with the Phone 2, this feature will not work natively with all apps until the developers integrate it if they wish to take advantage of it.
Though, Nothing promises that more such integration with popular apps is in the pipeline.

The upper right section of the circular lighting design houses a significant portion of these LEDs dedicated to providing visual progress for various functions. These functions include indicating volume levels, countdown timers, Uber pickups, and more.

Adding another level of Glyph customisation, Nothing Phone 2 will have a Glyph Composer.
Users will have the option to create custom visualizations and ringtones using the new Glyph composer.

Basically, you can compose different ringtones with different Glyph patterns for every individual contact. You can have a different Glyph ringtone for your parents, a different Glyph ringtone for your partner and a different Glyph ringtone for your friends.

Nothing has also added essential Glyph notifications to Phone 2, so you never miss an essential update.
The Glyph notifications are for contacts and notifications that you don’t want to miss out on.

All you have to do is assign the Glyph notification to a particular app or a contact and essential Glyph notifications will light up the top right Glyph segment whenever you get a notification from those assigned apps and contacts.

The Glyph interface for the first time will also be getting an Auto Brightness feature which adjusts the brightness of the Glyph based on ambient lightening, the Glyph Torch which will light up when you long-press the torch icon and new Glyph ringtones which are remixed versions of old iconic ringtones.

3) How is Nothing Phone 2 Battery Capacity and Performance?

Ans) Nothing Phone 2 battery has a slight upgrade if you compare it with what we got in Phone 1. Phone 2 is equipped with a robust 4700mAh battery capacity.
Now, this is ample power to keep the device running throughout the day.

Moreover, Nothing has this time around focused on efficient charging and intelligent battery management. It has designed the Phone 2 to deliver a reliable and long-lasting battery performance.

The inclusion of 45W fast charging technology allows the Phone 2 to charge fully in just 55 minutes.
This rapid charging capability ensures that you can quickly replenish the battery when needed, minimizing downtime and keeping them connected and productive.

With the ability to charge the device at an impressive speed, you can conveniently top up the battery in a short amount of time.

CrossBeats Fury Gaming Earbuds – Design and Fit

CrossBeats Fury Gaming Earbuds - Key Features
CrossBeats Fury Gaming Earbuds – Design

The CrossBeats Fury Gaming Earbuds offer a comfortable in-ear design that securely fits within the ear canal. It provide good noise isolation and a stable fit.

While we used these earbuds mainly for extended gaming sessions and streaming content to analyse their performance for this review, it is truly ideal for intense active outdoor usage apart from gaming.

The addition of RGB LED Lights on both the case and earbuds adds a stylish touch to the overall design. The LEDs are an extremely subjective design choice though we feel CrossBeats has incorporated them tastefully in Fury earbuds.

The LEDs enhance the visual appeal without being overly flashy or distracting. It creates a unique and attractive look that complements the gaming vibe.

The earbuds exhibit decent built quality, ensuring they can withstand daily wear and tear. The matt finish on the case adds a touch of elegance and also minimizes fingerprint smudges, maintaining a clean appearance.

Moreover, the compact size of the case allows it to easily fit into pockets or small bags, making it convenient to carry the earbuds on the go.

CrossBeats Fury Gaming Earbuds – Sound Quality

CrossBeats Fury Gaming Earbuds - Design
CrossBeats Fury Gaming Earbuds – Sound Quality

The sound quality of the CrossBeats Fury Earbuds right out of the box is definitely impressive for the price segment is it playing in.

We found the audio captivating and immersive. Equipped with 13mm drivers, these earbuds are designed to deliver rich and powerful sound. Your gaming sessions and music listening sessions will surely improve with this one.

The integration of Environmental Noise Cancelling technology enhances the audio quality. It allows you to focus solely on the audio content without any major disturbances from external noises.

However, the performance of ENC is limited to indoors. When we tried using the earbuds outdoors, the audio quality suffers from external noises. When you are not in a noisy environment, this feature surely ensures near crystal-clear sound.

With a frequency response ranging from 20Hz to 20,000Hz, the CrossBeats Fury Earbuds cover a wide spectrum of frequencies.
This is designed for well-defined bass, smooth midrange, and crisp treble, creating a well-balanced audio profile.

However, we do wish the bass was more refined, especially for the price segment, we do have better options available in the market. So, this is where CrossBeats could have done better.

Furthermore, the earbuds boast an impressive speaker sensitivity of up to 103±3dB, allowing for loud and clear sound reproduction without distortion.
