1. Apple is likely to launch the iPhone 15 series on September 12 in the US. 2. The 15 Pro models are said to get major upgrades this year over the non-Pro models. 3. The iPhone 15 Pro Max might see a $200 price bump over the iPhone 14 Pro Max. 4. iPhone 15 Pro series is rumoured to feature extremely thin bezels. 5. The new manufacturing process could lead to delay in the production of the upcoming Pro iPhone series.
Apple’s upcoming iPhone 15 Pro models will likely be more expensive than the current models, according to Tim Long, an analyst at British bank Barclays. Long said this information is based on conversations with supply chain companies in Asia.
In a research note this month, obtained by MacRumors, Long said he expects the iPhone 15 Pro to cost up to $100 more than the iPhone 14 Pro, and the iPhone 15 Pro Max to be $100 to $200 more expensive than the iPhone 14 Pro Max.
He believes pricing will remain similar for the standard iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus models.
Apple is expected to launch its next iPhone series in September. The company might launch four new iPhones later this year. Apple will continue to offer two Pro iPhones and two non-Pro models, according to rumours.
There are rumours that the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max will witness delays in availability. Apple has not confirmed any details at the moment. Meanwhile, the rumour mill continues to offer more details about the iPhone 15 series ahead of its launch.
The latest rumour is around the iPhone 15 price range. The latest report (via) by an analyst at Barclays reveals the starting price of all four iPhone models launching later this year. If the leaked pricing is true, the iPhone 15 Pro models will be more expensive than the outgoing models.
Based on Long’s estimates, pricing for the iPhone 15 lineup in the U.S. could be as follows:
* iPhone 15: $799 (unchanged) * iPhone 15 Plus: $899 (unchanged) * iPhone 15 Pro: Up to $1,099 (vs. $999 now) * iPhone 15 Pro Max: Up to $1,299 (vs. $1,099 now)
Rumors suggest the iPhone 15 Pro Max will feature an upgraded Telephoto lenswith periscope technology that enables up to 5-6x zoom without blur, compared to 3x on iPhone 14 Pro models.
This feature is not expected to be available on the smaller iPhone 15 Pro this year, which could contribute to the Pro Max seeing a bigger price increase. Long believes the periscope lens will add around $50 to the iPhone 15 Pro Max’s bill of materials.
Price estimates for future iPhones should always be treated with some skepticism, as they are merely educated guesses and are not always correct. For example, Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo predicted price increases for the iPhone 14 Pro models last year, but the devices ended up having the same prices as the previous generation.
Apple is expected to announce the iPhone 15 lineup in September, despite reports of a temporary display-related manufacturing issue for the Pro models.
Other rumored features for the Pro models include a USB-C port, titanium frame, customizable Action button, faster A17 Bionic chip, thinner bezels around the display, Wi-Fi 6E support, increased RAM, upgraded Ultra Wideband chip, and more, so all of the new features coupled with inflationary pressures could warrant price hikes.
It would be the first price increase for the high-end iPhone models since the iPhone X and iPhone XS Max, which started at $999 and $1,099, respectively.
iPhone 15 Series: Specifications and Features (Leaked)
iPhone 15 Series: Specifications and Features (Leaked)
All four iPhone models launching later this year will reportedly feature Dynamic Island support. Apple will bid goodbye to the notch and launch the upcoming 2023 iPhone models with a hole-punch and a pill-shaped cutout.
The iPhone 15 and 15 Pro will feature 6.1-inch OLED displays, whereas the 15 Plus and 15 Pro Max will have a 6.7-inch OLED display. Only the Pro models will offer support for up to a 120Hz refresh rate.
Under the hood, the Pro models will feature the A17 Bionic, whereas the non-Pro models might draw power from the A16 Bionic. Apple is also said to bump up the RAM and launch the iPhones with up to 8GB of RAM. The devices are also likely to get slightly bigger batteries than the outgoing models.
The bigger changes will be in the camera departments. All four iPhone models will likely feature a 48MP primary camera. The iPhone 15 Pro models will get a bigger sensor, whereas the non-Pro models are likely to get a 48MP sensor that will capture more light than the one found in the 14 Pro models.
iPhone 15 Pro models
There will be a 12MP ultra-wide camera as well. The 15 Pro might continue to feature a 12MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom.
The 15 Pro Max, on the other hand, will feature a 12MP periscope camera with support for up to 6x optical zoom. As expected, the latest iPhones will run thelatest iOS 17 update out of the box.
According to a new report by Bloomberg, Apple is allegedly planning to hike the price of its upcoming iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max models in a bid to increase revenue during a projected slump in smartphone sales.
The publication claims that Apple has a target to produce around 85 million iPhone 15 units this year, which isn’t far off the 90 million iPhone 14 units the company is said to have requested from its suppliers last year.
Essentially, Apple is hoping it can produce a similar number of devices but keep its revenue high (in spite of things like ongoing inflation and lower demand for consumer tech) by increasing the price of its more expensive iPhone models, according to “people familiar with the matter.”
Apple is likely facing a battle to hit its targets. The company is reportedly experiencing production issues with the display panels for the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max that could impact how many units will actually be available at launch.
iPhone 15 Pro
Apple also allegedly cut plans to increase iPhone 14 production by an additional 6 million units last year after the usual surge in holiday season demand failed to materialize.
According to an IDC report published back in May, global smartphone shipments are expected to decline by 3.2 percent in 2023, though the market is anticipated to start recovering sometime next year.
iPhone Pro and Pro Max models have launched with a starting price of $999 and $1,099, respectively, since the introduction of the iPhone 11 Pro back in 2019.
There’s no information regarding what this price may increase to, though 9to5Mac claims that the standard iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus pricing will remain consistent with previous generational releases ($799 and $899, respectively).
Of course, Apple still needs to sell the iPhones it’s producing to boost revenue, but the company seems confident that this won’t be an issue.
Apple CEO Tim Cooksuggested during an earnings call in February that a price hike wouldn’t deter iPhone customers from purchasing the company’s flagship offerings, claiming, “I think people are willing to really stretch to get the best they can afford in that category.”
Ans) Apple iPhone 15 series might launch later this year in September. Ahead of the launch, a new report has revealed the price of all four iPhones. According to Tim Long, a Barclays analyst, the iPhone 15 Pro Max will see a price bump of $200 over the existing 14 Pro Max. The analyst believes that Apple will launch its top-of-the-line iPhone at a starting price of $1299 (roughly Rs 1,06,500). The iPhone 14 Pro Max was launched in the US for $1099 (roughly Rs 90,100), whereas in India, it was available at launch for Rs 1,39,000.
The iPhone 15 Pro is also said to receive a price bump. According to Long, the smaller Pro model will be launched for $1099 (roughly Rs 90,100). Pricing of the iPhone 15 and 15 Plus will likely remain unchanged at $799 (roughly Rs 65,500) and $899 (roughly Rs 73,700), respectively.
The Pro models are likely to be far more expensive than the outgoing models, mainly due to the number of upgrades on offer. Apple is said to feature a titanium chassis in the Pro models, which will also reportedly get a new Action button with remapping features for various tasks. The 15 Pro Max is also said to feature a new periscope lens with support for up to 6x optical zoom. Therefore, it would not be a surprise if Apple increases the price of its iPhones later this year.
2) Apple iPhone 15 Pro Max may be costlier than iPhone 14 Pro Max, analyst says.Details?
Ans) Apple is said to unveil its next generation iPhone series in September this year. The iPhone 15 series is tipped to offer four phones- iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro and high-end iPhone 15 Pro Max. According to Tim Long, an analyst at British bank Barclays, it is likely that Apple’s upcoming iPhone 15 Pro models will be more expensive than the current ones. Long arrived at this conclusion after consulting with supply chain companies in Asia.
In a recent research note obtained by MacRumors, Long stated that he expects the Apple iPhone 15 Pro to be priced up to $100 higher than the iPhone 14 Pro, while the iPhone 15 Pro Max may cost $100 to $200 more than the iPhone 14 Pro Max. However, he believes that the standard iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus models will maintain similar pricing.

In this blog, we are looking at a detailed Nothing Phone 2 Vs iQOO Neo 7 Pro comparison in terms of specifications, features, performance, and value.
Both devices feature the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset and competitive camera capabilities, making a thorough comparison relevant.
Nothing Phone 2, with its hyped arrival in the smartphone market, has turned out to be one of the most exciting smartphone launches of the year. Nothing as a brand has managed to achieve a novelty that sets it apart and yet comparisons are inevitable.
In this blog, we are taking a deeper look at Nothing Phone 2 and another recently launched smartphoneiQOO Neo 7 Pro. We will be comparing the two smartphones in detail, delving into their specifications, features, performance and value.
If you are anywhere but in India, comparing Nothing Phone 2 with an iQOO phone might not seem reasonable as Nothing has built a novelty internationally that sets it apart from many mid-range smartphone brands.
However, the story is different in India. iQOO’s presence in the Indian market can’t be denied, especially when it has a product that is capable of catering to the same target audience that Phone 2 is eyeing.
Another big reason for comparing these two devices is that Neo 7 Pro is also a recently launched device with the same Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset.
The camera in the iQOO device is set to provide tough competition as well and thus, presents a good reason to conduct a thorough comparison between the two.
So, without further ado, let’s delve into a detailed Nothing Phone 2 vs iQOO Neo 7 Pro comparison to know which Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 phone you should buy.
Here’s a quick look at the positives of both devices.

Can iQOO Neo 7 Pro Challenge Nothing Phone 2?
Nothing Phone 2 Vs iQOO Neo 7 Pro – Design and Durability
When we compare Nothing Phone 2 with any other smartphone in the design department, it might come off as a one-sided fight. Whether you like the rear Glyph Interface on the Nothing Phone 2 or not is subjective.
However, one thing you’ll have to agree with is that it looks very distinctive from most other candy bar designs available in the market and works well in breaking the monotonous tone of smartphones.
Now, comparing the Phone 2 with iQOO Neo 7 Pro, which has the same smartphone design that we have seen in many previous iQOO phones, is straightforward.
To start with, the iQOO Neo 7 Pro has a plastic frame compared to the metal frame on the Nothing Phone 2 which gives it a far more premium feel.
Moreover, with a wider mid frame it’s easier to hold the Phone 2 and the slight little curve on the rear makes it sit very nicely in the hand.
On the other hand, we have the frosted glass variant of the iQOO Neo 7 Pro, which gets slightly slippery though the vegan leather variant should offer a better grip.
In terms of durability, Nothing reinforces the build quality by giving Gorilla Glass 5 protection on the back and the front as well.
Whereas we are not sure about any such feature on the Neo 7 Pro although you do get Schott Xensation Up protection on the front. Also, the Phone 2 also has an IP54 rating whereas the iQOO Neo 7 Pro has a slightly lower IP52 rating.
So, when you look at the overall build quality of both phones, Nothing Phone 2 definitely presents itself as the superior option between the two.

However, it employs an AMOLED screen instead of LTPO, which can potentially impact battery life. On the bright side, it offers a faster 120Hz refresh rate, resulting in smoother animations and transitions.
LTPO technology has the advantage of conserving battery power compared to AMOLED displays, as AMOLED panels often require a higher refresh rate for optimal smoothness, leading to increased power consumption.
Both displays have their merits, and the choice ultimately boils down to personal preference. If power efficiency is a priority, the LTPO display of the Nothing Phone 2 may be preferable.
On the other hand, if vibrant colours and deep blacks are valued, the AMOLED display of the iQOO Neo 7 Pro could be a better fit.

Samsung Brings back the Rotating Bezel with the Galaxy Watch6 Series
Rotating Bezel with the Galaxy Watch6 Series
Samsung’s announcement frenzy continues with the Galaxy Watch6and Watch6 Classic, the latter coming with a rotating bezel – the company’s most iconic feature in its wearables is making a return after going away for a year.
They come in two sizes each, and all variants have an LTE option with an eSIM module.
The Galaxy Watch6 brings a number of improvements compared to the Watch5. The minimalistic, more affordable member of the new series lacks the rotating bezel, but it still has all of the new functionality.
The new wearable is actually ever so slightly smaller than its predecessor, coming in 44 mm and 40 mm formats.
However, thanks to a thinner bezel, the screens are actually slightly larger at 1.5” and 1.3”, respectively.
The displays are the same in the Watch6 Classic, although the version with the rotating bezel is sold in 47 mm and 43 mm sizes.
All Galaxy Watch6 wearables have a Super AMOLED screen with full-color AOD and sapphire crystal protection on top.
These wearables come with a new Exynos W930 chipset.
It still comes with a dual-core CPU, but the top clock speed is now 18% higher at 1.4 GHz. RAM also increased by 33% to 2 GB, with 16 GB internal storage.
Watch6 series
The biggest improvement Samsung introduced in the Watch6 series is actually on the software side.
Thanks to the skin temperature sensors and the heart rate monitor, the wearables will provide a more in-depth sleep insight.
The company also proudly announced the wearables are the only ones that support the full health tracking suite – ECG, Heart rate & HR alert, blood pressure, menstrual cycle prediction and fall detection.
The Watch6 supports Samsung Wallet (in countries where it is available), and it can be used as a remote camera shutter or to find the owner’s phone with an integrated map. Since there is WearOS for Samsung, the wearables support Googleand 3rd party apps.
The Watch6 and Watch6 Classic feature 425 mAh batteries for the larger sizes (44 mm vanilla or 47 mm Classic) and 300 mAh for the smaller ones (40 mm vanilla and 43 mm Classic). The devices are also IP68 certified, can be submersed into water up to 50 m (5ATM), and are MIL-STD-810H graded.

Atrial fibrillation (AFib)
Added to existing blood pressure and electrocardiogram monitoring, the new Irregular Heart Rhythm Notification feature helps users understand their heart health more comprehensively by checking for heart rhythms suggestive of Atrial fibrillation (AFib) in the background – even while asleep.
Galaxy Watch6 can also enable users to track skin temperature during the night to give valuable insights including menstrual cycle tracking.
And Fall Detection can gauge a fall, whether occurring during exercise, when standing still, or even while sleeping if users happen to fall out of bed.

3) What are The details of the Samsung galaxy watches launched ?
Ans) Samsung has finally launched the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 at the Unpacked event in South Korea.
The new Galaxy Z series foldable phones will be available for purchase soon in India. Samsung announced its foldable phones with some top-of-the-line hardware and improved foldable phone tech under the hood. Alongside, the company also launched the Galaxy Watch 6 series.
The new Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 series includes two premium smartwatches. There is the top-of-the-line Galaxy Watch 6 Classic and the vanilla Watch 6.
Samsung’s new Galaxy Watch series comes with some upgrades over the outgoing models.
The company claims that the new Galaxy Watch 6 series packs “holistic health offerings and powerful performance in a refined and sleek design, boasting a slimmer bezel, a larger and more vibrant display, and more interactive user interface” compared to the outgoing models.
Both models also allow users to access a greater selection of versatile watch faces as well as new band options.
4) Galaxy Watch 6 series: What’s new and what’s different?
Ans) The biggest change is the return of the physical rotating bezel on the Watch 6 Classic.
It operates like before, so you rotate it to cycle through UI elements and scroll up and down pages.
Twisting it is as satisfying as ever, with audible and tactile clicks with every incremental turn.
The bezel itself, however, is 15% thinner than its last appearance in the Watch 4 Classic, although it still rises over the screen enough to provide a protective lip.
Samsung probably thinks you won’t need that extra protection, though, because the displays on both Galaxy Watch 6 models use Sapphire Crystal glass and are rated MIL-STD-810H for being able to withstand low pressure, exposure to high and low temperatures, and shock.
Besides the aforementioned physical rotating bezel, there are a few other things that separate the Classic and the regular Galaxy Watch 6. First, they each come in two sizes. The standard model, which is just an iterative update from last year’s Galaxy Watch 5, comes in 40mm and 44mm variations, while the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic features 43mm and 47mm sizes.
There is no update to the Pro model, which made its debut last year — in fact, Samsung says the Watch 5 Pro will continue to sell alongside these two watches.
The Watch 6 Classic’s casing is also made out of stainless steel, while the standard uses aluminum.
This, coupled with the fact the Classic model is larger, means there are noticeable weight differences between the two. The Classic models weigh 52g and 59g, while the standard models weigh 28.7 and 33.3g. The Watch 6 Classic also comes with a faux-leather band, while the standard model gets a silicon band.
That’s about it as far as differences go. They both run on the exact same Exynos W930 chip (up from last year’s Exynos W920) with the same 2GB RAM and 16GB storage (up from 1.5GB RAM). They also have identical battery capacities (425mAh for the larger watch and 300mAh for the smaller one).
The new Exynos chip is said to be more efficient.
That, along with the slightly larger battery sizes, means better battery life. Samsung promises up to 40 hours of use on a single charge for either of the watches.
This isn’t amazing, as I’d still need to charge the watch at least once every two days, but it’s much better than what the Pixel Watch or Apple Watch could do.
And despite the Classic being physically larger, the screen dimensions are actually identical, with the larger varieties each packing a 1.5-inch screen and the smaller versions offering 1.3-inch displays. The 1.5-inch screen size is the largest yet in a Samsung wearable.
The AMOLED displays on both Watch 6 models look sharp, with resolutions at either 480×480 or 432×432. Samsung also designed new watch faces to take advantage of the larger screens, with more complications and information-dense layouts.
All the sensors you’d expect are here, and they’re also identical across both models. There’s a BioActive sensor that combines a heart rate sensor with an electric heart signal monitor, a skin temperature sensor, an accelerometer, a barometer, a gyro sensor, a geomagnetic sensor, and a light sensor.
These sensors are not new from last year, so we expect the health tracking experience to be similar Galaxy Watch 5 series, which we liked a lot.
The Galaxy Watch 6 watches are some of the first to run Wear OS 4.
It isn’t a major overhaul, but it does bring some much-needed refinements, such as the ability to pair the watches to a new phone without having to reset them.
This is great news for me as somebody who switches phones anywhere from 30–50 times a year.
Needing to reset my Pixel Watch or Galaxy Watch 5 Pro every single time I want to pair it to a new phone has been a hassle, so Wear OS 4 will save me time in the future.
Samsung has also worked with Google to bring further optimized versions of Google Assistant, Google Maps, and other third-party apps to the Watch 6 series. I’ve complained in the past that Android smartwatches pale in comparison to the Apple Watch in terms of app support, and while Samsung’s wearable ecosystem is still miles away from catching up to the Apple Watch, it’s still probably the best ecosystem in the Android space right now.
Samsung is the leader in the foldable phone market, set to unveil its fifth-generation foldable smartphones, Galaxy Fold 5 and Z Flip 5.
Galaxy Fold 5 is rumoured to run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 platform, with unchanged screen dimensions and a triple-lens camera setup.
Z Flip 5 is expected to also use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 platform and feature a large cover screen on its clamshell design.
From the pioneering Galaxy Z Fold and Z Flip to advancements in Galaxy Z Fold 2 and Z Flip 3, and the feature-rich Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4, Samsung has come a long way.
Foldable smartphones are now all the rage in the market with Samsung having a rather big headstart on all its competition.
Today the company is set to announce the fifth generation of its foldable smartphones ie. Galaxy Fold 5 and Z Flip 5.
The South Korean electronics giant has had a lot of time to refine its products and it is no wonder that Samsung is the biggest player in the foldable industry.
With the launch of its latest additions, there is little doubt that this lead is going to extend even further. So how did Samsung manage to keep the competition at bay?
Let’s look at some of the company’s early foldables.
Samsung Galaxy Fold5 and Z Flip5: What we know
Samsung Galaxy Fold5 and Z Flip5
Before looking at the past, we must first look at the present. As is with most smartphone launches nowadays, several key specifications about the upcoming Samsung foldables have already been leaked.
For instance, it can now be assumed that the Samsung Galaxy Fold5, the company’s productivity-focused tool, will be running on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 platform.
It is also rumoured that the dimensions of the device will remain the same as the previous iteration, that the inside screen will be 7.6-inch and the outside will be 6.2-inch.
The optical apparatus on board should also consist of a triple-lens setup although the exact sensors will be revealed at the event.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5
Less is known about the Z Flip5, although it is also expected to run on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 platform.
Apart from that it is also believed that Samsung is going to take a page out Moto’s book and use a large cover screen on its clamshell design, very much like the latter’s Razr 40 Ultra.
Rest of the specs remain a bit unknown. However, the event is today at 4.00PM IST and all doubts will be clear once the device is officially revealed.
All Galaxy Fold and Z Flip devices leading up today
All Galaxy Fold and Z Flip devices
There are seven foldable devices revealed as part of Samsung’s push for this brand-new form factor in smartphones. Let’s check each of them briefly.
Galaxy Z Fold and Z Flip
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold
Samsung’s cutting-edge smartphones, the Galaxy Z Fold and Z Flip, were the first devices to redefine the mobile market with their inventive foldable design.
The Galaxy Z Fold had a sizable, flexible display that could be opened to resemble a tablet, giving users plenty of space on the screen for multitasking and video consumption.
Once folded it became a small and thick smartphone that fit inside your pocket.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip
The Galaxy Z Flip, on the other hand, has a distinctive flip-phone design with a folding display that folded vertically, making it exceedingly portable and fashionable.
High-end features on both handsets, like as potent processors, high-resolution cameras, and Samsung’s One UI, guarantee a fluid user experience.
However, being 1st-gen devices inflicted various problems on both devices, particularly with the folding display. Both devices were not durable at all and were priced exorbitantly high.
Galaxy Z Fold 2
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2
Learning from the past mistakes on the previous iteration, Samsung made sweeping improvements to its next generation of foldable devices.
The Galaxy Fold 2 got a much larger outer screen at 6.2-inch as compared to 4.3-inch on Galaxy Fold, giving it more resemblance to modern-day smartphone screen sizes.
As for the folding interior display, the screen became more expansive by getting rid of the camera cutout and instead using a punch hole.
There were durability measures introduced like hubcaps on the foldable display’s top and bottom to prevent any dust from entering.
By all accounts, the device was more successful than the original Fold thanks to the overall design improvements. However, its pricing was still a hard pill to swallow.
Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3
With the Galaxy Z Fold 3Samsung offered even more improved durability and enhanced multitasking features with support for DeX and also introduced extra protection on the folding screen as well as the outer screen.
The device ran the fastest SoC provided by Qualcomm and introduced an in-display selfie camera.
Finally, the device also had support for the S-pen, which was earlier exclusive only to Samsung’s Note series.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3
The Z Flip 3 got a much-improved outer display capable of display much more than just the time.
There was also an IPX8 rating introduced to add more protection against accidental splashes.
The internal screen size remained the same but the processor inside was the Snapdragon 888, same as the one on the Z Flip 3.
Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4
TheSamsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 upheld Samsung’s pinnacle of foldable innovation with several new improvements over an already stellar smartphone design from last year.
The hinge design was made better to accommodate a wide range of resting positions for the screen.
A full blown IP68 rating was also provided, and both the inner and outer screens got the same 120Hz smooth refresh rate.
Even the in-display selfie camera had been concealed in a way that it was almost impossible to spot. Of course, the phone was also packed with Samsung’s latest optical hardware and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC for very smooth performance.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4
The Galaxy Z Flip 4 also saw some minor improvements. The device was offered an IPX8 rating for better durability and the interior screen was a fluid AMOLED panel with the folding crease in the middle virtually invisible.
Processor-wise the device was also bumped up to run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoCAlso the device was launched at a lower price point than the Z Flip 3, which made it more available to the masses.
The Z Flip 4 is currently one the best-selling foldable phone and with any luck the upcoming Z Flip 5 is likely to emulate or break its sales numbers.
