Tech giant company Apple will launch iPhone 15 this year. The smartphone has been the talk of the town since the beginning of this year. Now, as per a report, the iPhone 15 Pro Max smartphone is expected to come with an ultra-thin bezel around the display.
The iPhone 15 Pro Max might have a front display with bezels that are only 1.55 mm thick (or 0.06 inches), making it the smartphone with the tiniest bezels ever created, according to reports.
Recently, a user took to Twitter and wrote about The Xiaomi 13’s 1.81 mm bezel black edge. However, iPhone 15 Pro Max will now break the record whose cover plate black bezel is just 1.55 mm. The iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max smartphones’ front glass videos, which leaked online last week, showed that they will have very small bezels around the display.
However, it’s anticipated that Apple would save its Always-On and ProMotion display technologies for the next iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max smartphone models, as per reports.
An earlier Macrumors report stated that the basic iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus bezels are unlikely to undergo any significant changes.

iPhone 14 Pro Max features slim bezels, giving a premium viewing experience. However, the iPhone 15 Pro Max is expected to take things to the next level. The bezels are expected to be thinner than iPhone 14 Pro’s 2.17mm and beat Xiaomi 13’s 1.81mm bezel size, which is apparently the slimmest seen in the market currently.
Ice Universe says the iPhone 15 Pro Max will be a ‘Super Flagship’ thanks to the slimmer bezels. An earlier leak from reliable tipster ShrimpApple Pro said the bezels will also be curved compared to the iPhone 14 Pro Max, giving it an Apple Watch-like appearance.
The iPhone 15 Pro Max and iPhone 15 Pro are expected to come with a large 48MP main camera, which might outshine the current top Android camera phones and there are chances we might see a periscope lens. The Pro models could have a titanium frame and the device could be less wide and tall but 5 percent thicker. The reduced thickness could make the camera module less protruding.
Though rumoured earlier, the new iPhones will no longer have solid-state volume and power buttons due to higher costs and manufacturing complexity. There are other rumours that Apple might introduce a new 1-inch camera sensor, a mute (action) switch, a periscope lens and much more.
According to rumours, the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max would have upgraded RAM, a titanium frame, and solid-state buttons with haptic feedback.

Ans) The previous rumors regarding the iPhone 15 Pro models utilizing solid-state buttons also said that Apple would use additional Taptic Engines for haptic feedback. While the plans for that change have shifted to iPhone 15 Pro models, the previously found Mute Switch may not make it to the new models.
Instead, the iPhone 15 Pro phones will feature an Action Button. And the leaked CAD files kind of confirms that the accessory makers are currently working on a new design. And these new CADs line up perfectly with the previously leaked 1:1 high-quality renders.
As you can see, Apple has completely ditched the solid-state buttons. Instead, Apple has reverted to traditional button design for the iPhone 15 Pro models with separated volume buttons. But the main highlight is the lack of a mute switch.
Instead, the CAD files showcase a mute button, which is likely to be named Action Button.
It is unknown whether the new Action Button will completely replace the functionality of the mute switch. Many are speculating it could emulate the Apple Watch Ultra’s Action Button. And that button allows you to customize the action according to your preference. In other words, you can program it to do several tasks.
As you might have guessed, the Action Button will be an exclusive for the iPhone 15 Pro lineup. That is, the iPhone 15 and 15 Plus models will have the traditional mute switch. So, Apple could indeed add some special features to the new button.
2) What are the Camera Changes in the new iPhone 15?
Ans) So, the new iPhone 15 CAD files are not just all about the Action Button. Instead, they shed light on a slightly changed camera bump. The early schematics showed a gargantuan bump with individual protrusions that were larger than the bump found on the iPhone 14 Pro.
But with the new CADs, the camera bumps appear to be in the reasonable range. Yes, the bumps are still larger than the iPhone 14 series. But the protrusions are not as comical as showcased in the previous CADs.
That said, the bump on the iPhone 15 Pro Max looks to be a bit larger. This leads us to believe that the periscope zoom lens for the highest-end model might actually be a thing.
However, the iPhone 15 Pro does not appear to have the same treatment. It is not rumored to feature the periscope zoom lens either. For that reason, we were not surprised to see it having less bump on the back than the 15 Pro Max model.
With the camera and new button design, the CAD also corroborates several design details in the previous CAD models. For example, the new renders show incredibly narrow bezels, the presence of USB-C, and a much rounder frame than the iPhone 14 series.
3) iPhone 15 Pro: here’s what’s expected?
Ans) According to a recent report , IPhone 15 pro appears to feature a redesigned titanium clamshell body, with smoother edges at the corners and towards the display.
The smartphone body has a smoother integration with the display, with the glass featuring a slight curvature that merges into the titanium shell.
This gives the iPhone 15 Pro super slim bezels that are 1.55mm all around, while the device retains the same pill-shaped Dynamic Island notch that was introduced on the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max lineups.
The redesigning of the titanium body of the iPhone 15 Pro gives the device total width of 70.46mm — down from 71.45mm on the predecessor.
While this makes it slimmer by about a millimeter, the same will likely not reflect in the in-hand feel.
What could, however, are the smoother edges on the phone. Apart from this, the iPhone 15 Pro is tipped to feature even larger rear cameras, which will feature new sensors that can “capture more light and reduce over and underexposure” — as per the leaked post. This appears to be different from the iPhone 15 Pro Max, which will seemingly feature a periscope lens for telephoto optical zoom.
Other key new features include haptic volume buttons and the mute slider to the left, and finally, the switch to a USB Type-C charging port instead of Apple’s proprietary Lightning port.
The leaked post claims that Apple will allow fast charging only through select, certified USB-C cables, all of which remains to be seen. Finally, the iPhone 15 Pro is tipped to get a Deep Red colour variant, which has been expected for a while now.
4) Where are the bezels?
Ans) Bezels will be shrunk this year again, with tighter borders all around the screen. They’ll measure at a mere 1.55mm, which could be among the thinnest in the industry. Android Phones have lately been winning at the bezels game but Apple is seemingly poised to reclaim its champion status.
If bezels are shrunk even as the screen size is retained, by physics the phone should grow marginally smaller.
The iPhone 15 Pro is indeed an itsy-bitsy more portable than the iPhone 14 Pro, with the former’s dimensions standing at 70.46 x 146.47 x 8.24mm versus the latter’s 71.45 x 147.46mm x 7.84mm.
