After introducing Family Center and Parental Supervision Tools on Instagram, Adam Mosseri, Head of Instagram, has announced the launch of two new chronological views for Instagram.

Mosseri has said that ‘Following and Favorites’, two new chronological views, have been introduced by the Instagram. The move is aimed to offer more choice and control over what users see in the photo-sharing app.

“Today, we’re launching two new chronological views for your Instagram Feed – Following and Favorites. These options give you more choice and control over what you see in the app (sic),”reads a tweet by Mosseri who has invited users’ feedback.

To see newly introduced two chronological on your Feed, you need to Tap “Instagram” on the top left of your app to switch between Favorites and Following.

Instagram is always working on new ways to improve user’s Instagram experience. It will continue to build features like Favorites and Following to give more choice and control over what users see, and help make the time they spend on the app feel more intentional.

What are Favorites and Following

The Instagram feed allows you to see a mix of photos and videos from people you follow, suggested posts and more. With the help of Favorites and Following, Instagram users will be able to catch up on recent posts from the accounts they follow.

Favorites allows you to see the latest posts by those who you follow such as friends and favorite creators. Besides, posts from accounts in Favorites will also show up higher in your home feed.

Following allows you to see posts from the people you follow on the Instagram. Both Favorites and Following help you quickly catch up on recent posts as both Favorites and Following will show you posts in chronological order.

How to use Favorites and Following

Open the Instagram app and click on the Instagram in the top left corner of your home page to choose what you see.

How your favorites list works

With the help of Favorites, you will be able to see the most recent posts from the accounts that you have added to your favorites list.

One user can add up 50 accounts to their list. They can make changes to their favorities list as and when they feel. A notification will be sent to user’s account when their account will be added or removed from the favourite list.

Posts from accounts on your favorites list will also show up higher in your home feed, as shown by a star icon.

We’re nearing the point where all of the new TVs revealed at CES will begin to reach to customers. Now, Samsung has just announced that preorders for their extensive 2022 portfolio are now open. And, for the first time, the company has revealed all of the features and pricing for its long-rumored, semi-announced QD-OLED consumer TV, the S95B.

The S95B is a 4K QD-OLED television that will be available in two sizes: a 55-inch model for $2,199.99 and a 65-inch model for $2,999.99. Although these are much higher prices than a conventional LG OLED, Samsung Display’s QD-OLED screen could provide improved colour accuracy at high brightness levels, even better viewing angles than regular OLED, and wider colour reproduction than regular OLED. Even Sony too has announced its own TVs using the Samsung QD-OLED display.

QD-OLED finally introduces genuine competition to the OLED TV market. To date, all OLED TVs from all manufacturers have used LG Display’s WOLED panel technology. QD-OLED is a new panel type that combines blue OLED with red and green quantum dot colour converters.

The ‘Infinity One Design’ and ‘Object Tracking Sound Technology’ are also mentioned in the announcement. Furthermore, Samsung’s QD-OLED TVs will include the 2022 Neo Quantum video processor, four HDMI 2.1 ports, and a 144Hz panel refresh rate – all of which are shared by Samsung’s other 2022 TVs.

Samsung Electronics did not provide any additional information, but stated in a statement that it will have “more to share about the 2022 TV lineup in the coming weeks.”

Samsung to launch Galaxy M 53, a successor of Galaxy M52, on March 27

South Korean tech-giant Samsung is expected to launch Galaxy M 53, a successor of Galaxy M52 on March 27.

The upcoming phone is expected have a 6.7-inch display Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Galaxy M 53 is speculated to be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 900. The new model is expected to feature 108MP primary camera, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. The phone will be equipped with a 32MP snapper on the front for selfies and video calling.

The phone will have a 5000mAh battery, supported by with 25W fast charging support. Consumers need to buy the adapter separately. The phone is said to come with 10+ 5G bands support.

The handset is said to pack 8GB RAM and either 128GB or 256GB storage options.  The upcoming phone will also run on the latest Android 12 based OneUI 4.1 custom skin out of the box.

Compared with the predecessor M52, Galaxy M 53 will have some downgrades. M52 is equipped with secondary 12MP Ultra-wide-angle lens while M52 will have 8MP Ultra-wide-angle lens. The dual 5MP sensors is also expected to be replaced with 2MP macro and depth lenses.

WhatsApp, the encrypted messaging service owned by Meta, has begun bringing out multi-device compatibility to all users. The update was available for users before as well but only through WhatsApp’s opt-in beta testing programme.

Now, according to WABetainfo, the update will be available to iOS users this month, with Android users receiving it next month. With the new upgrade, you won’t need to have your primary device connected to the internet to use the platform.
On linked devices, seeing live location is not available. The secondary devices are unable to create and browse broadcast lists or send messages with link previews via WhatsApp Web. Emoji reactions are now available in beta on WhatsApp for Android.

To connect your devices, you must upgrade WhatsApp to the current version in order to enjoy the multi-device capability. After that, you may use WhatsApp on numerous devices by following these steps:

The micro-blogging site has also announced that for Spaces, it has started testing a new clipping tool. Select hosts on iOS are now able to clip 30 seconds of audio from the recorded Spaces to share them with others on Twitter.
