Marvel started the superhero cinematic universe back in 2008 and since then has released tons of movies along with TV shows to extend the world of some of our all-time favourite superhero characters. An entire generation grew up watching the stories of Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, the Hulk, Black Panther, Spider-Man, Doctor Strange, Ant-Man, Captain Marvel and the Guardians of the Galaxy on screen.
So many movies and extraordinary characters also started the long debate on which is the best and which is the worst Marvel movie. Viewers often share their own rankings of the Marvel cinematic universe. There are 29 movies in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and based on popularity as well as public reviews, here are our rankings of the top 10 from worst to best Marvel movies.
-
Captain Marvel
Marvel should have introduced Captain Marvel much before then when they actually did.
Set in the past, this is about the rise of Marvel (Brie Larson) and her journey of discovering her origin story. The only problem is the unconvincing storyline and lack of explanation about Marvel’s back story during the days between the end of this film till the time of Endgame.
-
Avengers: Infinity War
The events that transpire here were carefully teased in dozens of Marvel movies before the release of this and what was finally on screen was truly cinema at its best. Bringing every major character in the battleground to take on Thanos, the spectacle was for history books to note down.
-
Ant-Man
Paul Rudd in Marvel Cinematic Universe! Yes, that’s it, that’s what makes it great. This also came after the dramatic events of Age of Ultron and somehow played the perfect role of some sort of tranquillizer. It would not be wrong to say Ant-Man gave the audience the much-needed story to cleanse their minds.
-
Spider-Man: Homecoming
With what often felt like been-there-and-done-that cinematically, Spider-Man: Homecoming was the third time Marvel tried to bring Spider-Man with a new vision to screens in mere 15 years. However, lead actors Tom Holland and Zendaya under the supervision of director Jon Watts do make a good watch and currently stand at number 7 in our rankings.
-
Avengers: Endgame
This is what you watch when you need the wise & classy Stark, the professor Hulk, the controversial Lebowski Thor, and the magnetic Dr Strange, along with Black Widow and Captain Marvel under one roof.

Guardians of the Galaxy
Guardians of the Galaxy is often credited with bringing something really otherworldly to the Marvel cinematic universe.
-
Spider-Man: No Way Home

-
Iron Man
This is where it all began and the fact that the first movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe is still ranked among the top three says everything about how brilliant it was.
