Apple May Launch New Colours for Cheaper iPhone Model This Year: Latest Rumor Apple may introduce iPhone 15 in pink

HIGHLIGHTS

* Apple is known to introduce new colour options with the iPhone series every year.
* The iPhone 15 is reported to arrive in a total of six colours.
* The iPhone 15 Pro is expected to come in a dark blue shade with a grey tone.

The iPhone 15 could be offered in more new colors than previously thought, with a leak claiming the lineup could include a pink option for 2023.

Apple’s biggest iPhone 15 design changes have already leaked, but the company still had one surprise up its sleeve. Until now…

When we talk about new iPhone models, features and specifications are not the only thing Apple fans are excited about. They are also eager to find out what new iPhone colours will be available for purchase.

Apple is rumoured to introduce three new colour options for the upcoming iPhone 15. These will be in addition to the three colours we get with the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus.

Reliable Apple insider ShrimpApplePro has endorsed a leak from Chinese social media site Weibo (a frequent source of Apple information), revealing that the iPhone 15 will come in three new colors: green, light yellow and pink. The full range of colors is as follows:

iPhone 15
iPhone 15

* Midnight
* Starlight
* Green
* Light Yellow
* Pink
* Product (RED)

The new colors are italicized, and it is worth noting that light yellow is distinct from the existing strong yellow finish on the iPhone 14 lineup. If correct, the leak would mean that Apple is dropping blue, purple, and the deeper yellow finishes this year.

While opinions about Apple’s choice of colors will be subjective, the real surprise here is the extent of the changes. Apple tends to change one or two colors each year, but not three.

Moreover, the decisions here are eye-opening because a market report in March claimed that blue and purple were the most popular color choices for iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus buyers.

On the flip side, pink has been the most requested iPhone color for years, and rumors of a bubblegum pink finish first leaked in March though that report also claimed a new brighter blue color would be introduced.

Apple has also shown its willingness to bend to customer demand this year by releasing a 15-inch MacBook Air.

The finishes of iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max models have been subject to similar speculation, with conflicting reports that Apple will release a new hero color in dark red or deep blue.

iPhone 15 Pro
iPhone 15 Pro

Uncertainty also surrounds the price of the new iPhone 15 range, with leaks claiming prices for Pro models may increase by as much as $200. A new titanium chassis may be a factor in that.

More certain are the core upgrades for both models, with iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max models getting a next-gen 3nm A17 chipset, super thin bezels, upgraded UWB and a solid-state Action button that replaces the mute switch.

iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus models are expected to copy the iPhone 14 Pro design and use their A16 chip, while every iPhone 15 model will transition from Lightning to USB-C.

As the September launch of the iPhone 15 gets closer, rumors about the color choices of Apple are becoming more frequent. In the latest leak, it is proposed that there could be a bunch of colors available for the non-Pro models.

In a Saturday tweet by prolific leaker @VnchocoTaco, also known as “ShrimpApplePro,” an image of what appears to be a Weibo post is shared. The post, translated from Chinese, mentions that there is to be the use of “green, light yellow, and pink” models.

If true, the range of color options for the iPhone 15 could be, according to Shrimp:

* Midnight
* Starlight
* Green
* Yellow
* Pink
* Product (RED)

While Shrimp does have a history of providing Apple-related leaks, the Weibo-based screenshot offers a relatively small amount of proof.

An image is included in the post depicting a Foxconn security badge, with the photo covered by a thumb, as if to prove the source works for Apple’s assembly partner.

In previous leaks, another Weibo leaker offered in July that the iPhone 15 would use a green color, at the same time as reporting on a crimson iPhone 15 Pro shade. In February, leaks put forward a pink and blue iPhone 15 and a dark red iPhone 15 Pro.

There’s no guarantee at all that the leaks about colors are completely accurate, especially for launch. Apple does habitually update the iPhone lineup with a mid-year color addition, so it is plausible one color may not arrive until spring 2024.

1) iPhone 15 Colour Options Leaked

Ans) A well-known Apple tipster ShrimpApplePro (@VNchocoTaco), has tweeted three new colour options coming with the iPhone 15. These are said to be Green, Pink, and Yellow (a lighter shade) alongside the existing colours Midnight, Starlight, and Product (RED). This way, the total number of colour options will remain to be six.

If the leak is correct, Apple is ready to bid farewell to the Blue, Purple, and darker Yellow options we currently get. The iPhone 15 was previously reported to arrive in a Light Blue colour option, too, but it seems like Apple has changed plans now.

It should be noted that there is no surety if Apple will launch all six colours on the same day as the iPhone 15 launch. The Cupertino-based tech giant is known for saving one iPhone colour option for Spring refresh. We saw it released Green as the new colour for iPhone 11 and repeated it with the iPhone 13. The iPhone 12 and iPhone 14 received a Purple and Yellow paint refresh, respectively.

As for iPhone 15 Pro models, Apple is expected to debut these with a new dark Blue colour with a grey shade. It is said to have a brushed finish due to titanium material which will be different from what we get with stainless steel. This new colour is expected to arrive alongside Space Gray/Space Black, Silver, and Titanium Gray shades. Some reports speculate there may also be a Crimson Red colour option. Overall, we suggest you take these iPhone 15 colour leaks with a pinch of salt.

In other related rumours, the iPhone 15 Pro Max is tipped to become the most expensive iPhone in history. This is largely because of a number of exclusive features that Apple will offer. It is expected to come with a titanium frame that will replace the stainless steel frame we currently get. There will be improvements in the camera department, and it will have a bigger camera bump.

We are finally expected to get a USB Type-C port with the iPhone 15 series. Battery capacity is another department where Apple is expected to offer improvements.

2) iPhone 15 launch update: Apple may introduce two new colours.Details?

Ans) Apple’s upcoming iPhone 15 series will reportedly come with stronger titanium construction and new colour options. The company is expected to introduce two new colour options for the iPhone 15 lineup — a dark red colour for the iPhone 15 Pro and a green colour for the iPhone 15 and 15 Plus, reports Gizmochina.

The new red colour for the iPhone 15 Pro is named “crimson” and will likely be slightly lighter than the iPhone 14 Pro’s deep purple colour.

However, the green colour for the iPhone 15 and 15 Plus is expected to be similar to the green of the iPhone 12 and iPhone 11.

The iPhone 15’s standard colour options, which are rumoured to include silver, space grey and gold, would be expanded by these new colours.

The company has not yet officially announced the release date of the iPhone 15 series, but it is expected to launch in September this year, the report said.

Earlier, it was rumoured that the company would integrate the Proximity Sensor inside the “Dynamic Island” area (the pill and hole cutouts at the top of the display) in the iPhone 15 series.

The proximity sensor detects when the user holds the phone up to their ear and shuts off the screen.

Nothing Phone (2) lookalike Infinix GT 10 Pro first images leaked, launch in India in expected to be in August; Design & Key Specifications Tipped

HIGHLIGHTS

* The Infinix GT 10 Pro comes with a Nothing Phone-like semi-transparent back design.
* There will be two phones in the series, featuring Mediatek Dimensity chipsets.
* The phones are expected to come with 108MP triple camera and optimisations for popular games.
* Infinix GT 10 Pro+ leaked images show a transparent rear panel.
* The handset is tipped to be powered by a Dimensity 8050 SoC.
* The Infinix GT 10 Pro+ appears to resemble the Nothing Phone 2.

Infinix seems to be taking a page out of Nothing’s playbook for its upcoming phone. The brand is releasing two phones in its brand-new GT series, the Infinix GT 10 Pro and GT 10 Pro+, which have an uncanny resemblance to Nothing’s trademark transparent design language.

These smartphones will come with a focus on gaming and seem to feature a semi-transparent back similar to the newly launched Nothing Phone (2).

In fact, Nothing CEO Carl Pei responded to a leaked graphic of the phone in a tweet last week. He said, “Time to get the lawyers ready!.”

Infinix GT 10 Pro+ has surfaced online in a new leak that reveals the design and key specifications of the handset.

The Chinese smartphone maker previously revealed that it was working on a handset that would resemble the design of the Nothing Phone 2 that was recently launched by the UK-based startup led by Carl Pei.

The upcoming smartphone series is tipped to comprise the Infinix GT 10 Pro and Infinix GT 10 Pro+, according to details shared by a tipster on a Chinese microblogging website.

Weibo user Perfect Arrangement Digital (translated from Chinese) leaked images (via Abhishek Yadav) of two smartphones — the Infinix GT 10 Pro and GT 10 Pro+ — that are expected to make their debut in China soon.

The image of the Infinix GT 10 Pro+ suggests that the device will sport a transparent rear panel. Tipster Yogesh Brar tweeted that the handset will have a clear rear glass panel located above LED strips.

The key specifications of the handsets appear on the “About phone” section of the settings app in the leaked images. The Infinix GT 10 Pro+ is shown to be powered by a Dimensity 8050 chipset, while the GT 10 Pro model will be equipped with a Dimensity 1300 SoC.

Both phones will sport full-HD+ displays and run on Android 13. They will feature a 108-megapixel triple-rear camera setup and a 32-megapixel selfie camera, as per the leaked images that show both handsets will pack 5,000mAh batteries.

According to a new report by GSMArena, the vanilla model in the new series, the Infinix GT 10 Pro is coming to India in the month of August, and then release elsewhere. It is expected to provide “high gaming features” at an “affordable price.”

The report also revealed some official images of the phone showcasing its semi-transparent design in two colour options. However, the GT 10 Pro does seem to lack LED strips though, so it may not light up like the Phone (2) after all.

As per the report, the phone is tipped to house a MediaTek Dimensity series chipset. It will feature a triple camera setup with 108MP main camera and a ring-like flashlight design.

Infinix has also optimized this phone for popular games such as PUBG, MLBB, and Free Fire for a better gaming experience.
When it comes to the software, the phone will come with Android 13-based XOS 13 and receive just one Android upgrade and two years of security patches.

Interestingly, the box of the phone will transform into an eco-friendly amplifier for Infinix GT 10 Pro’s in-built speaker. We reported on the device’s existence back in March and it was expected to be a flagship model in the brand’s range however that does not seem to be the case anymore.

* Display: Both phones will feature a 2400x1080p display.
* Chipset: Infinix GT 10 Pro will feature Mediatek Dimensity 1300 SoC while the GT 10 Pro+ features Dimensity 8050 chipset.
* Cameras: Both phones get a 108MP main camera sensor. For selfies, there is a 32MP front camera.
* RAM and storage: The GT 10 Pro will come in an 8GB RAM/128GB storage variant while the GT 10 Pro+ will come with at least 8GB/256GB configuration.

Earlier this week, Infinix revealed via a press release that the company is working on a smartphone that will resemble the Nothing Phone 2, sharing a diagram of the phones next to each other with a similar curved LED notification strip located at the centre of the rear panel.

At the time, the Chinese smartphone firm had suggested that the phone will debut as part of a new GT series of phones aimed at gamers. The images leaked on Weibo match the diagram shared by Infinix, including the camera module that is aligned to the top left corner of the phone..

Nothing CEO Carl Pei responded to a tipster who posted the information leaked by the company, stating that it was “Time to get the lawyers ready”.
However, it is currently unclear whether these LED strips on the Infinix GT 10 Pro+ will mimic the functionality of Nothing’s smartphones.

Infinix GT 10 Pro, a gaming smartphone landing in early August

upcoming phone
Gaming Smartphone

According to latest information , Infinix is working on a gaming-oriented smartphone that is due to launch in the first week of August, starting in India.
This will be called Infinix GT 10 Pro, and is aiming to provide high gaming features at an affordable price.
The phone’s back seems to adopt a Nothing-like semi-transparent design, although the design is quite far from that of the Nothing phones.

The camera island especially seems like it’s from an entirely different world. There’s also a prevailing ‘gaming phone’ aesthetic here, which is fitting. We see three camera sensors on the back, and a ring LED flash.
The main sensor will have 108 MP resolution according to the inscription on the diagonal stripe inside the camera island.

There’s a Dimensity chipset at the helm, although our source hasn’t shared which exact one. We do however know that games like PUBG, MLBB, and Free Fire will be specially optimized to deliver impressive frame rates and stunning visuals on the GT 10 Pro.

The box lets you use it to build an eco-friendly music amplifier, so it doesn’t just sit around on a shelf, useless, once you’ve taken the phone out.

The Infinix GT 10 Pro will be available in at least two colors, as seen below – a darker one and a white. It will run XOS 13 based on Android 13.

The experience will be close to stock, and the phone will get one major Android update and two years of security updates, as will all members of the GT series.
GT 10 Pro’s launch is still a few weeks away.

WhatsApp on Android

Highlights

• WhatsApp Channels will notify the users about the tool availability on their phone .
• The company has never offered a tool to send notifications to users about the availability of a new feature.

Meta-owned instant messenger, WhatsApp, is rolling out the ability to be informed when a channel is available to certain users on Android, WABetaInfo reported.
The update is a follow-up of the app’s one-way broadcast private tool, “WhatsApp Channels”, which will notify the users about the tool’s availability on their phones.

As seen in the screenshot provided by WABetaInfo, the beta testers will see a new sheet seeking permission to inform them about the availability of the channels, if the feature is enabled on their versions of WhatsApp.

WhatsApp

To check if this feature has been enabled on their phones, the users need to open a channel invite link. But since the channels tool is only available in Singapore and Colombia, the users need to open a channel created in one of these countries.

Though the users will be able to follow the channels only when the channel is available in their respective countries, they will at least get the feature that will notify them when the channels are available for them to join.

The WhatsApp news tracker dubbed the update “a very unexpected feature” as the company has never offered a tool to send notifications to users about the availability of a new feature.

The feature is being rolled out to some beta testers on Android who download the latest update available on Google Play Store. It will be released to even more people over the coming days.

WhatsApp is a popular instant messaging service that is always striving to improve its user experience.

Administrators are able to send text, photos, videos, stickers, and polls on the channels. While this feature is currently being tested in only Colombia and Singapore, WhatsApp plans to expand it to other countries.

WhatsApp Beta for Android Introduces New Feature to Notify Users of Channel Availability

With version 2.23.15.11 beta, some users are seeing a new message that informs them when channels will be available to them.
This is a new and unusual feature for WhatsApp. As it has never notified users about the availability of a new feature before.

This shows that the developer team is particularly invested in making channels a success.

WhatsApp aims to provide a simple, reliable, and private way for people and organizations to communicate with their subscribers.

By notifying users when channels become available, WhatsApp hopes to make it easier for people to sign up and receive important updates.

WhatsApp

The release of version 2.23.15.11 beta is proof that WhatsApp is committed to improving its service.
And providing users with the best possible experience.

WhatsApp is sure to remain a popular and essential tool for communication around the world. With the introduction of channels and other new features.

In addition to channels, WhatsApp has also introduced other new features in version 2.23.15.11 beta. Such as new emojis and a redesigned archive feature.

Twitter starts sharing ad revenue with users, many already receiving first payment of Rs 5 lakh and more: 50% drop in ad revenues, heavy debt: Elon Musk

0
Twitter

HIGHLIGHTS

* Yaccarino started working at Twitter in early June as CEO
* Yaccarino was former ad chief at Comcast’s NBCUniversal
* Twitter has been criticized over lax content moderation

Twitter’s cash flow remains negative because of a nearly 50 percent drop in advertising revenue and a heavy debt load, Elon Musk said on Saturday, falling short of his expectation in March that Twitter could reach cash flow positive by June.

“Need to reach positive cash flow before we have the luxury of anything else,” Musk said in a tweet replying to suggestions on recapitalization.

This is the latest sign that the aggressive cost-cutting measures since Musk acquired Twitter in October alone are not enough to get Twitter to cash flow positive, and suggests Twitter’s ad revenue may have not recovered as fast as Musk suggested in an interview in April with the BBC that most advertisers had returned to the site.

Twitter

After laying off thousands of employees and cutting cloud service bills, Musk had said the company reduced its non-debt expenditures to $1.5 billion from a projected $4.5 billion in 2023.
Twitter also faces annual interest payments of about $1.5 billion as a result of the debt it took on in the $44 billion deal that turned the company private.

It is unclear what time frame Musk was referring to by the 50% drop in ad revenue. He has said Twitter was on track to post $3 billion in revenue in 2023, down from $5.1 billion in 2021.

Twitter has been criticized over lax content moderation, followed by an exodus of many advertisers who did not want their ads appearing next to inappropriate content.

Musk’s hiring of Linda Yaccarino, former ad chief at Comcast’s NBCUniversal as CEO, signaled that ad sales are a priority for Twitter even as it works to increase subscription revenue.

Yaccarino started working at Twitter in early June and has told investors Twitter plans to focus on video, creator and commerce partnerships and is in early talks with political and entertainment figures, payments services, and news and media publishers.

Twitter

On Thursday, Twitter said that select content creators will be eligible to get a part of the ad revenue the company earns in an attempt to draw more content creators tothe site.

Twitter is still spending more money than it’s making, according to Elon Musk. In the early hours of Saturday morning, the billionaire tweeted the company was suffering from an ongoing negative cash flow issue due to an approximately 50 percent drop in advertising revenue and heavy debt burden.

“Need to reach positive cash flow before we have the luxury of anything else,” Musk said.

The admission comes in the same week that Twitter’s ad-revenue sharing program began paying out some creators, including a handful of far-right influencers.

On Friday, Musk also claimed the social network could see “all-time high device user seconds usage” sometime this week. He also previously said almost all the advertisers who had left the platform following his takeover in October had “either come back” or “said they will come back.”

According to an estimate research firm Sensor Tower shared with Bloomberg, advertising spending fell by 89 percent to $7.6 million during a two-month period earlier this year. Per Reuters, Twitter has annual interest payments of about $1.5 billion due to the debt the company took on when Musk took it private for $44 billion.

This is the latest sign the aggressive cost-cutting measures Musk has undertaken in the last year have not been enough to put the company on solid financial footing.

It also suggests the company’s newly appointed CEO, Linda Yaccarino, has her work cut out for her as she works to rebuild Twitter’s advertising base.

Twitter ad revenue is falling due to many reasons

Twitter

At the same time, Bloomberg claims that Twitter’s advertising business fell by 89% in the last two months. Also, Reuters reports that Twitter pays $1.5 billion annually to repay the company’s loan realized just after Musk took it over.

Twitter ad revenue and the overall situation in the company obviously forced Musk to sharply cut costs. We have also seen that in some cases he has gone too far. A bizarre example happened not so long ago when Twitter stopped paying rent for its business offices.
How will the Twitter saga end, remains to be seen. Competition in the form of Zuckerberg’s Threads is doing pretty well at this point. What is more intriguing, it has achieved a major milestone even without EU users, due to regulation issues.

Elon Musk added that “positive cash flow before we have the luxury of anything else”. Meanwhile, newly appointed CEO Linda Yaccarinao said that Twitter is working hard to establish a new base of advertisers, in order to overcome these negative trends.

Meta is now expanding the usage of avatars. Instagram and FB Messenger users can now make video calls using their avatars. The company even announced animated avatar stickers and social stickers. Needless to add, these features should compel users to create their own avatars.

Apart from this, the video also shows that users will have the option to switch to some different skins like a dog, cat, owl, llama, etc.

8) How is iQOO Neo 7 Pro design and build?

Ans) During the limited time I spent with the phone, the iQOO Neo 7 felt like a sleek device with a lot of potential at a glance. At the back, you have a leather finish panel with iQOO’s subtle yet unmissable branding resting neatly at the center.

Looking closely, you will notice a metallic, copper feel to the branding, and it looks quite brilliant, in my opinion.
A metallic copper frame surrounds the phone’s camera module and gives it a subtle yet evident lift. The camera lenses do not protrude and neatly fit into the camera module, and I personally love the way it looks.

The outer edges of the phone also come in a copper metallic build and, in my opinion, are the most attractive part of the phone’s design. The copper colour compliments the orange panel perfectly and there could have been no better colour option for the metallic edges.
The leather finish of the back panel also adds to the phone’s elegance and gives it a classy look, along with resulting in a great grip. Even though the phone comes with a cover in the box, the phone never slips .

9) How is iQOO Neo 7 Pro performance and camera?

Ans) During my brief usage of the phone, I scrolled through my social media feed, browsed the web, watched an episode of The Good Doctor, and played BGMI for about half an hour.
Scrolling through social media and browsing the web was an absolute delight and I have no complaints so far. The apps opened quite quickly and I was also able to switch between different apps seamlessly. iQOO claims that you can open up to 36 apps at once without facing any problems and we will surely explore this part in the detailed review.

Scrolling, with the phone’s 120Hz refresh rate, is a great experience on this device and the moment you begin using the phone, you feel like you are using a high-end device that will result in a consistently strong performance.

I didn’t notice any issues and the sound quality was also top-notch. Be it Netflix’s ta-dum sound or the show’s short yet intriguing clip, everything sounded crystal clear. The sound didn’t necessarily fill the room, but it wasn’t inadequate either.

The gaming experience on the phone was also satisfactory. The moment I dived into the world of BGMI, the phone automatically launched the multi-turbo acceleration and gave me the option of toggling the Game Assistant by gently swiping right at the top left corner.

The Game Assistant lets you enable the Esports mode, reject calls, record screen and more. We’ll explore this further in our detailed review but as of now, the experience of playing BGMI on HD graphics settings with a high frame rate was quite pleasing.

Twitter now shares its ad revenue with the top creators : Here’s How To Get Accepted Into The Monetization Program

0
Twitter

HIGHLIGHTS

* Twitter creators can now start getting their share of the company’s ad revenue.
* This is applicable only for Twitter Blue individuals and organisations.
* Twitter has started paying eligible creators, and reportedly up to $40,000 (around Rs 32.8 lakh).

Elon Musk has been making some big changes ever since he took over Twitter. There have been some not-so-happy changes but one that will benefit users has begun.

Earlier this year in February, Musk announced that creators will be able to start earning money through ads on Twitter.

It looks like the payout has started for some creators.

Twitter has launched its ad-revenue-sharing program for creators, and eligible Blue subscribers have already started receiving payments.

Elon Musk first announced this initiative in February, but at the time, very few details were available about how it would work.

Twitter

As per a tweet announcing the program, those eligible will receive a portion of the ad revenue generated from their posts, starting with replies.
Several high-profile users have reported receiving notifications about incoming deposits, claiming to a few thousands to ten thousand dollars.

These rewards are based on ads shown in replies to eligible users’ content.

The first round of payouts for creators will amount to $5 million, as per Musk, and will be cumulative from February from now on.

Twitter starts paying creators for ads

Twitter

The monetisation system is a little different from other platforms though. Here, creators have to be subscribed to Twitter Blue to be eligible for the revenue sharing system.

Twitter Blue costs Rs 900 per month on mobile, and Rs 650 on the web. You can also get an annual subscription that costs Rs 6,800 per year. With Twitter Blue, you get the verified blue tick and other features.

How to join Twitter’s monetisation program?

* As mentioned above, you will need to be subscribed to Twitter Blue to join the monetisation program. In addition to being subscribed to Twitter Blue, you will also need to have at least 5 million impressions on posts in each of the last three months.
* At present, Twitter’s ad revenue sharing system is available only in countries where Stripe supports payouts. Twitter hasn’t clarified about countries where Stripe isn’t available.
* It will most likely partner with the payment services available in whichever country it wants to launch the monetisation program.

What’s the revenue sharing criteria for Twitter creators

Twitter

According to the support post, the revenue-sharing system is only available for Twitter Blue or Verified Organizations subscribers who have generated at least five million post impressions in each of the past three months.

Additionally, users will be subjected to a human review and must follow the Creator Subscriptions policies before getting paid through a Stripe account.

Those who meet the requirements can apply for the program by going to the Monetization section in their account settings, and there will soon be an application process as it plans to expand eligibility to more creators.

There are certain limitations as well on which creators can earn money through its content monetization program.

Twitter

Sexual content is not allowed to be monetized in accordance with Twitter’s standards. The monetization of content related to pyramid schemes, get-rich-quick schemes, violence, criminal activities, gambling, drugs, and alcohol is also prohibited. Additionally, if a creator attempts to monetize copyrighted content that they do not own, it is considered a violation.

The payouts come at a time when Twitter is facing challenges left and right. It has been sued for 500 million unpaid severance checks, and then Zuckerberg-owned Meta has been trying to dent Twitter’s declining traffic.

How does the revenue payout work?

Twitter

Twitter Blue subscribers can now start earning money through ads that come up in tweet replies. The company announced that creators will start getting payouts through shares from the company’s ad revenue that has been generated from tweet replies.

So basically, your tweets will need to go viral and have enough engagement to generate ad revenue. Only then would you start receiving payments from Twitter.

Twitter is  paying up to $40,000 for accounts that have a few million followers, according to a report by The Verge.

It’s starting with a small group who will be invited to accept payment.

Twitter plans to roll out the program to more creators later this month. Twitter’s monetisation is applicable for verified organisations as well.

Twitter

Faqs

1) What is Twitter ad revenue sharing?

Ans) Twitter ad revenue sharing is the latest feature added to the platform that helps creators get a share of Twitter’s revenue from the sponsored posts appearing under their tweets. Through this initiative, verified creators can receive a portion of the money made by adverts that are shown in comments on their posts.

Although it’s not immediately obvious how reimbursements are calculated or how much money Twitter keeps for itself, accounts must have received at least 5 million impressions on tweets in the previous three months in order to be eligible.

Conservative YouTuber Benny Johnson announced that he was qualified to get close to $10,000; @Elon_alerts, an account that tweets about Musk, stated that their compensation was roughly $2,200. Payouts are cumulative going back to February, when the initiative was first introduced, according to Musk in a tweet.
“For the next 12 months, Twitter will keep none of the money. You will receive whatever money we receive, so that’s 70% for subscriptions on iOS & Android (they charge 30%) and ~92% on web (could be better, depending on payment processor),” tweeted Musk.

2) Does Twitter creator monetization?

Ans) Finally, Twitter is introducing a new function that will compensate creators. The first Twitter ad revenue sharing payments were made over the course of a few months, beginning in February, and were only available to artists who had signed up for the Blue program and generated at least five million impressions.

As it would be challenging to decide which creators to compensate for advertisements served in the feed (this is the same issue short-form video platforms like TikTok are encountering with revenue sharing), Twitter is monetizing the advertising shown in tweet replies.

It follows that artists will naturally want to offer incentives for people to respond to their tweets. The ideal case scenario would be that this would spark dialogue; however, as we are aware from sites like Facebook, strong emotions are what generate the greatest interest.

“We’re expanding our creator monetization offering to include ads revenue sharing for creators. This means that creators can get a share in ad revenue, starting in the replies to their posts. This is part of our effort to help people earn a living directly on Twitter. We’re rolling out the program more broadly later this month, and all eligible creators will be able to apply,” Twitter said.

3) Twitter monetization in which countries ?

Ans) Luckily, the Twitter ad revenue sharing program is eligible in every country that Stripe is eligible for a payout. “We are rolling out to an initial group who will be invited to accept payment,” the company added.

Before this, Twitter had announced its new monetization features. On April 14, the function debuted under the “Subscriptions” menu, but it was only partially functional. All users in more than 110 countries can now access it.
Your Twitter account must have been active for at least three months in order to allow monetization. Additionally, it must have 25 tweets in the previous 30 days and at least 500 followers.

Until they reach $50,000 in income, Twitter will let content creators keep up to 92% of their earnings. The user’s revenue share decreases to 80% after that point. Twitter plans to work with the Stripe payment system to coordinate payments.

4) How to get paid on Twitter?

Ans) Twitter is a powerful platform for sharing thoughts, ideas, and news. But did you know that you can also make money on Twitter, and the Twitter ad revenue sharing program is not the only option?

There are a few different ways to get paid on Twitter. Here are a few of the most popular methods:
* Sponsored tweets: This is where you partner with a brand to promote their product or service in a tweet. You can charge a flat fee or a commission on sales.
* Affiliate marketing: This is where you promote a product or service on Twitter and earn a commission for each sale that you generate.
* Subscriptions: This is where you charge your followers a monthly fee to access exclusive content or features.
* Tips: This is where your followers can send you money directly through Twitter.

So, how do you get started making money on Twitter? Here are a few tips:
* Build a following: The first step is to build a large enough following that brands will want to work with you. This means tweeting consistently, engaging with your followers, and sharing interesting and relevant content.
* Create high-quality content: Your tweets should be informative, engaging, and visually appealing. If you create great content, people will be more likely to follow you and pay attention to your ads.
* Be authentic: People can spot a fake from a mile away. So, be yourself and be genuine in your interactions with your followers. This will help you build trust and credibility, which are essential for making money on Twitter.

Vi Partners with Truecaller to help stop customer service fraud: to Enhance Customer Communication and Trustworthiness

0

HIGHLIGHTS

* Truecaller is a caller ID service providers
* It has over 350 million active users
* Truecaller has been downloaded more than billion times since launch
* Vodafone Idea has partnered with Truecaller to combat customer service fraud.
* Via this partnership, Truecaller will provide users with a secure customer communication experience.
* Truecaller solution enhances business calls by providing a brand identity and relevant context.
* Fraudsters are known to pretend to be calling from businesses in order to scam people.
* Truecaller will verify Vi’s customer support numbers to help customers differentiate between authentic and scam calls.
* Truecaller will also show the reason for the call to inform customers in advance.

Vodafone Idea (Vi) and Truecaller have partnered to enhance the reliability and security of customer interactions.

The teleco will be using Truecaller’s Verified Business Caller ID solution for its customer service.

This partnership comes amid the increasing occurrence of customer service fraud.

It was earlier this year when we first heard Truecaller was exploring partnerships with Indian telecom operators.

Its goal was to help telcos fight spam and frauds that keep increasing with time. The company has found success as it has collaborated with Vi (Vodafone-Idea) for verified customer calls.

Here is everything you need to know and what it means.

Ashish Sharma, EVP of Customer Service at Vi said, “We know that customers don’t like unwanted calls and feel more secure when communicating through verified customer care channels. That’s why we’re excited to partner with Truecaller, a trusted caller ID service provider, to offer safer and verified communication to our customers.”

Priyam Bose, Global Head of GTM at Truecaller, emphasized the commitment to empower businesses by enhancing customer communication and verification. The collaboration with Vi represents a significant step in reinforcing trust and strengthening customer interactions within the fast-paced, customer-centric telecom sector. Truecaller’s Verified Business solution has become integral to creating a more secure and trusted communication environment.

Vi, Truecaller partner for secure customer experience

Vi Partners

As part of the collaboration, Truecaller will provide a secure and improved customer communication experience to Vi customers. Through its Verified Business Caller ID solution, the caller identification app has enabled Vodafone Idea’s customer service and sales team to enhance their interactions with users.

Vi customers can easily identify genuine calls from Vi by looking for certain trustworthy indicators provided by Truecaller, which include a green caller ID, a category tag, a tamper-proof brand name along with the logo, a verified business badge, and a call reason.

As per the company, the solution enhances business calls by providing a brand identity and relevant context and that likely makes the customer communication more reliable. It helps in reducing call-related frauds and scams while also improving the efficiency and safety of business communications.

Truecall has been taking measures to prevent fraud via calls for quite some time.
