LG Electronics has announced the ‘LG Tone Free FP Series earphones’ in India for Rs 13,990. The earphones come with a one-of-a-kind UVnano charging cradle that uses ultraviolet light to sanitise the earbuds and kill 99.9% of microorganisms. The earbuds are equipped with Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), which is designed to minimise high-frequency noise. By providing an equal level of anti-noise, the improved ANC shuts out extraneous sound. According to the company, the upgraded driver can properly detect and suppress noise, resulting in a truly high-fidelity experience that allows users to thoroughly immerse themselves in whatever they are listening to.

The latest smartphone from Vivo’s sub-brand iQoo has been released in India. The device is the successor to the iQoo Z5 5G that was launched in the country last year. The variant with 4GB RAM will cost you Rs 15,999. The variants with 6GB RAM and 8GB RAM are priced at Rs 16,999 and Rs 17,999 respectively.

Realme to launch GT Neo 3 in China on March 22

Realme is preparing to introduce the GT Neo 3 smartphone in China. The company has already confirmed the March 22 launch date on the Chinese microblogging platform Weiboo. The company announced the launch date with a banner and video on the platform’s official handle. The smartphone design, as well as the rear camera module, is revealed in the ad and movie. Expanding its Z series lineup, iQOO today launched a new smartphone called iQOO Z6 5G in India. The smartphone comes equipped with Snapdragon 695 5G SoC, 120Hz FHD+ display, up to 8GB + 4GB extended RAM capabilities and 5,000mAh battery as its USPs in the sub-20K segment. This launch comes close on the heels of iQOO 9 series premium smartphones that were on February 23.

The all-new iQOO Z6 5G is effectively priced at Rs 13,999 for 4GB+128GB, Rs 14,999 for 6GB+128GB and Rs 15,999 for 8GB+128GB variant. It comes in two colour options – Dynamo Black and Chromatic Blue, and will be available for purchase on Amazon starting March 22. Customers will get Rs 2,000 instant discounts on HDFC Bank Cards and all EMI transactions.

The iQOO Z6 5G features a 6.58-inch FHD+ display with 120Hz refresh rate, a 90.61 per cent screen to body ratio and 2408×1080 pixels resolution. It offers a 240Hz touch sampling rate and is protected by Panda Glass layer. Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 chipset with Adreno 619 GPU for graphics, the smartphone runs Android 12-based Funtouch 12 custom skin. It comes packed with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB storage which can be expanded up to 1TB via a microSD card.

On the camera front, the smartphone offers a triple rear camera setup – a 50-megapixel primary sensor with Eye AF, f/1.8 aperture, a 2-megapixel macro sensor and a 2-megapixel portrait lens. Talking about the rear camera features, it includes Night mode, Portrait mode (they are not available in the 4GB RAM option), Aura screen light, and others. Up front, there is a 16-megapixel sensor for selfies and video chats. The smartphone weighs 187 grams and measures 75.84 X 164 X 8.25mm.

There is a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security and a five-layer 1445mm-square vapour chamber system, which as per the company, lowers the surface temperature by about 3-degree centigrade and for about 10-degree centigrade during intensive gaming. The handset gets its juice from a 5,000mAh battery. It offers 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth 5.1, and a USB Type-C port, in terms of connectivity.

Alongside the iQOO Z6 5G smartphone, the handset maker also launched the iQOO Wireless Sport neckband, which is particularly made for gaming sessions. It comes packed with the large 11.2mm moving coil and runs up to 18 hours. The neckband features IPX4 rating, which makes it suitable for all weather conditions. It is priced at Rs 1,799, and will be available on the company’s website and Amazon.

Oppo K10 to be launched in India on March 23

With the launch of K10 smartphone, OPPO wants to initiate an online-focused strategy and build a direct relationship with its online consumers via e-commerce platforms. OPPO K10 will be available on Flipkart, OPPO online store and select retail stores.

Realme GT 2, Realme GT 2 Pro is coming to India soon, details awaited

Realme took to microblogging site Twitter to tease the Realme GT 2 and Realme GT 2 Pro launch in India. Both the handsets are expected to debut in India soon, but the company is yet to reveal the exact launch date. The latest development has come after the two smartphones were launched in China, followed by the global unveiling at MWC 2022 in February.

It is being speculated that Realme GT 2 Pro will be launched in India in March only.

The Realme GT 2 comes with a Snapdragon 888 SoC and have a regular 120Hz AMOLED display. While, Realme GT 2 Pro comes with a bio-based design that carries a paper-like texture and comes with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC.

Both the smartphones sport a triple rear cameras as well as 120Hz displays. Realme GT 2 series is available in Paper Green, Paper White, and Steel Black versions.
