The recently launched HOT 11 2022 is available in 4GB RAM/64GB memory variant at only Rs 9999 on Flipkart. The other colour alternatives of the budget smartphone are – Polar Black, and Aurora Green.

iPhone 14 getting high quality selfie cam by LG

The much-awaited iPhone 14 series will reportedly integrate selfie cam modules produced by LG Innotek. Initially, these cams were supposed to be introduced with the iPhone 15 models, yet Apple experienced some quality assurance problems with the usual Chinese supplier and needed to switch to a new one to make up for the supply deficit, as per reports. Apple also uses selfie cams made by Sharp, and these will still be featured in the iPhone 14. If the reports are to be believed, the plan for iPhone 14 was to integrate a low-cost selfie cam, but because of the quality issues, Apple had no other option but to switch to LG Innotek’s solution, given the time constraints. The LG cams are said to be of higher quality, almost matching that of rear cameras, and will introduce the autofocus function to iPhone selfie cams for the first time.

Oppo has finally expanded its popular Reno series with the launch of Oppo Reno 8, Reno 8 Pro and Reno 8 Pro+ in China. All the three smartphones sport similar designs, although their features differ. Instagram gets a new look, design

Popular photo and video sharing platform Instagram is introducing a brighter icon along with its own typography, in an endeavour to give a visual refresh to the app. Its new design system puts the content at the centre, with a focus on simplicity and self-expression, said the Meta-owned company. “We are bringing new energy and purpose to our colours, typeface, logo, and other brand elements with a refreshed visual identity. Our new system is designed to embrace continued evolution to help us create more immersive and inclusive experiences for our community,” Instagram said in a statement. It further noted that its new typeface named Instagram Sans is designed keeping heritage in mind and it includes multiple global scripts.

Netflix rolls out new game titles

OTT platform Netflix, which is best known for its movies and series, has announced the release of three mobile games, with a fourth title coming at the end of this month. As per a Reuters report, Canadian developer East Side Games re-released its Facebook game Dragon Up as a Netflix mobile title, as did Spanish developer 11 Bit Studios with its role-playing adventure game, Moonlighter. German developer HandyGames re-mastered its strategy game, Townsmen – A Kingdom Rebuilt, for Netflix mobile, said the report. The new Exploding Kittens game will launch on May 31 in over 15 languages. These four titles bring the Netflix catalog to 22 games.

Vivo T2 5G price, specs tipped ahead of launch on June 6 in China

Vivo T2 5G, which is set to be unveiled on June 6 in China, has now been spotted on the China Telecom listing with renders, pricing details, and key specifications. The upcoming Vivo T2 5G is seen featuring a hole-punch display and a triple rear camera setup headlined by a 64MP primary sensor and is listed to house a 4,700mAh battery. The smartphone is teased to be powered by the Snapdragon 870 chipset. If the reports are to be believed, the forthcoming device is expected to debut as a rebranded version of iQoo Neo 6 SE that was launched in China earlier this month.

How to set up DigiLocker on WhatsApp

To help promote digital inclusion and efficient governance and build a comprehensive administrative support system for citizens to access resources and essential services, MYGov has announced that citizens will now be able to use the MyGov Helpdesk on WhatsApp to access the Digilocker service.

Through DigiLocker, citizens will be able to get access to documents such as PAN card, Driving License, CBSE Class X Passing Certificate, Vehicle Registration Certificate (RC), Insurance Policy – Two Wheeler, Class X and XII Marksheet, Insurance Policy Document (life and non-life available on digilocker).

Creating and authenticating the Digilocker account will also be possible through WhatsApp. Here’s how you can easily set up DigiLocker to work with your WhatsApp account. If you have never used DigiLocker before, read more here on how to set it up.

Step 1: Save the MyGov WhatsApp helpline number

To access DigiLocker on your WhatsApp, you need to save the helpline number “9013151515” on your smartphone. After saving the number, you will be able to access it on WhatsApp.

Step 2: Texting the MyGov helpline on WhatsApp

After saving the helpdesk number, you need to open WhatsApp to send a message to MyGov helpdesk number. After opening the WhatsApp contact list, tap on the search bar and type in the name you saved the helpdesk number. You need to send a “Hi” to this number and the automated services will appear in a few seconds.

Step 3: Setting up your DigiLocker account to work with WhatsApp

You will see a message starting with a Namaste in response to your Hi. You will see two clickable text elements towards the end of this message, one for Cowin services, and another for DigiLocker services.

Tap on DigiLocker and follow the subsequent instructions in a similar manner. First, you will be asked if you have a Digilocker account or not. Select No if you do not have DigiLocker account.

After clicking on ‘No’, you will get another message saying let me quickly set it up. You need to fill the basic details such as name, age, gender and 12 digit Aadhar number among other to complete the registration. After completing the registration process, you will get a six-digit OTP. Once you enter the OTP, you will get access to your account.

After completing the registration process you will be able to download the existing documents such as PAN card, driving licence that are saved in the Digilocker. You can also get you educational documents through Digilocker.

Document issued by the Central and respective state governments can be accessed through DigiLocker account.

To support the global LGBTQ+ community and equality movement, Apple released two new Pride Edition bands with dynamic Pride watch faces. Pride Edition Sport Loop and the Pride Edition Nike Sport Loop, launched by Apple are compatible with any Apple Watch.

The newly unveiled Pride Edition Sport Loop features a colour gradient with the word “pride” woven directly into the band. The US-based tech giant has also confirmed the launch of a new Shot on iPhone pride campaign in June.

Apple used a new technique to remove several of the double-layer nylon-woven textile loops on the band to reveal the word “pride”. It has been revealed in cursive style inspired by the original “hello” greeting which was displayed on the first Macintosh in 1984.

The new Pride watch face will need Apple Watch Series 4 or later running watchOS 8.6, and iPhone 6s or later running iOS 15.5.

New App Clip functionality within the band packaging is also being included to deliver a simple and convenient way for customers to immediately access the new matching watch face.

In another development surfaced online claims that the upcoming iPhone 14 models will integrate selfie cam modules produced by LG Innotek. However, these cameras were supposed to be introduced with the iPhone 15 models.

This also marks the first time Avatars will be available on Instagram.

Meta will continue to add more options over time based on feedback from the community.

Meta is also improving the look of Avatars. Subtle adjustments have been made to certain facial shapes and skin shaders to make avatars more authentic.

Throughout 2021, Meta added new eyes and noses, beards and hairstyles, outfits, body types and more. New items will continue to be added to the Avatar editor throughout 2022, said Meta.

South Korean consumer durable brand LG which made its entry into Indian market 25 years ago, has unveiled its premium TV range in the country. The consumer durable brand introduced its new range of OLED (organic light-emitting diode) TV lineup in an event held in New Delhi.

The launch is aimed to increase its footprint in India’s growing premium TV segment and offer a customizable viewing experience. The OLED TV price range starts from Rs 89990.
The 2022 OLED lineup introduces the widest range of OLED TVs, from the world’s biggest1 OLED 246 cm (97) extending to the world’s first 106 cm (42) OLED TV that is perfect for smaller room spaces and ideal for every gamer that seeks to be closer to the action. In addition to this, LG is also introducing the LD OLED evo in their C2 series.

The new lineup offers by the LG consists of the world’s widest range of OLED TVs, from 106 cm to 246 cm. These premium TVs will be available in stores in the country shortly. However, exact date is yet to be announced by the Company.

Rollable OLED TV
