Realme Narzo 60 Series Martian Horizon Design Leaked

The folks over at 91Mobiles have received an exclusive Realme Narzo 60 series smartphone design render. It shows the smartphone from the back and reveals important details.
The Narzo 60 5G design is reportedly called “Martian Horizon” as it is inspired by the Mars landscape.
It is bright Orange in colour but there will likely be other colour options as well.
The smartphone has a big, round rear camera module similar to what we saw with the Realme 11 Pro series.
However, it is expected to be a 100-megapixel primary sensor. The leaked camera module design is surely in line with the official Realme teasers.

There is Narzo branding towards the bottom and the overall feel of the design is quite premium. The report says the Realme Narzo 60 series smartphone will likely have a vegan leather finish. The phone will have volume up and down buttons on the right side.

The Narzo 60 series is further teased to feature a 61-degree arch panel with a centred punch-hole. It essentially means the phone will have a curved display. Realme is also teasing a luxury vegan textured design for the series. Some rumours suggest Realme Narzo 60 Pro 5G could arrive as the rebadged Realme 11 Pro 5G. Here’s a first look at the Realme Narzo 60 series ‘Martian Horizon’ design

Realme is gearing up to launch its latest generation of Narzo series smartphones in India soon.

However, prior to an official announcement, a new leak has offered us a first look at the upcoming device’s brand new design.

Realme Narzo 60 leaked with Martian Horizon design

According to a report ,a source close to the matter has revealed the design of the Chinese smartphone maker’s new Narzo 60 smartphone. This leak offers us a first look at the device and showcases a design that the company calls the ‘Martian Horizon’. As the name suggests, the brand is taking inspiration from the fourth planet in our solar system, Mars. Looking at the leaked image, we can see the Narzo 60’s rear panel in all its glory.

The device features a large circular camera island on an orange rear panel. This bright color is clearly inspired by the Martian landscape, although, the design of this device looks quite similar to the Realme 11 Pro series that was recently launched in India. The designs are especially similar when it comes to the rear camera module. While finer details are unclear, the back of the Narzo 60 series also appears to feature a faux leather design, similar to the 11 Pro series.

Apart from this, the image reveals that the right side of the device houses the volume rockers and power buttons. The sides feature an aluminum frame and the corners are rounded as well. Unfortunately, key specs of the new Realme Narzo 60 series are still unclear, but it is expected to launch in at least one variant with a massive 1TB of internal storage.

Faqs

1) What is Realme Narzo 60 series design details?

Ans)Realme’s next smartphone launch in India is going to be the Narzo 60 series which will come with 5G support. We’ve also got our hands on an exclusive image of the Realme Narzo 60 series phone that gives us a good look at its rear design. At first glance, one will be reminded of the Realme 11 Pro series that launched in India recently. This is evident from the wide circular camera module at the back.
The Realme Narzo 60 5G is seen in a bright Orange colour and the company will be calling it ‘Martian Horizon’ as it is inspired by the landscape of Mars. The same is echoed on the phone’s teaser page on Amazon. The phone also appears to have a vegan leather finish. The volume rocker and volume buttons are located on the right side of the phone.

Overall, the Realme Narzo 60 5G sports a premium look, and has a strikingly different appearance than its predecessor. It will also come with a curved display, suggested by the teaser on Amazon.

2) Realme Narzo 60 5G: what we know so far?

* According to its teaser page on Amazon, the Realme Narzo 60 will feature a curved display with a 61-degree curvature.
* The smartphone will also feature a punch-hole display with the camera placed at the top centre.
* Realme has also teased that the biggest storage variant will be able to house 250,000 photos. This hints that the Realme Narzo 60 5G will come with up to 1TB storage.

3) Realme will unveil the Narzo 60 series on July 6, offers a peek at the design.Details?

Ans) Realme has scheduled the unveiling of the Narzo 60 series for July 6 (Thursday next week), the event will go live at 12 noon local time.

The company also gave fans a peek at the design that will be used for the upcoming series. And it’s a design that we’ve already seen – save for the “NARZO” that is printed on the back, this looks a lot like the Realme 11 Pro/11 Pro+. Well, almost, the Narzo version lacks the decorative stitching that runs along the spines of the 11 Pro duo. This particular colorway is dubbed “Martian Horizon”.

The company will launch two phones: the Narzo 60 and Narzo 60 Pro. Presumably, these will be quite similar to the Realme 11 Pro duo. If you look closely, you can just make out “100MP” written on the back, that’s the resolution of the Realme 11 Pro. The Pro+ model has a 200MP main camera (and 8MP ultra wide), but we don’t know if the image above depicts the vanilla Narzo 60 or the 60 Pro.
The Realme 11 Pro+ has proven to be a hit in India, scoring a record-breaking first sale. Together with the Realme 11 Pro they dominated the ₹20,000-₹30,000 segment on Flipkart.
And that is one key difference between the Realme 11 phones and the Narzo 60 phones – the Narzo pair will live in the Amazon India store, you can track new developments on this landing page.

Note that unofficial info (Geekbench results) showed that the Narzo 60 will be powered by the Dimensity 6020 whereas both Realme 11 Pro models use the Dimensity 7050 instead.

The 6020 uses older tech (7nm vs 6nm, Cortex-A76 vs. A78, Mali-G57 vs. G68), so looks can be deceiving and the two series could be more different than they appear at first glance.

Nothing Phone (2), Phone (1) to get customised Swedish House Mafia ringtone pack : new light and sound setup at the back will let you compose ringtones; Glyph Ringtone Composer, design teased

0

HIGHLIGHTS

* Nothing Phone (2) is two weeks away from its July 11th debut.
* Nothing has now announced its partnership with Swedish House Mafia for a customised ringtone pack.
* It will be available through a new Glyph Composer that will most likely debut with Nothing OS 2.0.
* Nothing Phone (2) will get new light and sound setup at the back.
* The new 5G phone will go on pre-order on July 29 via Flipkart.

Nothing has been keeping everyone engaged with the launch of its upcoming smartphone, the Nothing Phone (2). It has been teasing the phone by revealing information bit by bit.

The latest official announcement is about Nothing collaborating with Swedish DJ trio Swedish House Mafia to launch a Glyph Sound Pack for the Nothing Phone (2).

It is no secret that the Nothing Phone (2) is launching on July 11. It is impressive to see that this is just the second generation phone from the company and people are already excited about the next Nothing phone, which is something that is pretty much evident on social media.

The credit mostly goes to its unique design approach combined with well-balanced specifications. Nothing has posted a new video, revealing that the Phone (2) will feature a new light and sound setup at the back.

Users will also be able to compose ringtones. Here is everything you need to know.

Nothing Phone (2) to get new light and sound setup at the back

The Nothing Phone (2) seemingly has a semi-transparent back panel design with a new light and sound setup, which looks pretty cool. It shows changes in the appearance of the LED strip and wireless charging coil.

Both elements are now broken into multiple parts. So, users get more options to customize different lights and accordingly compose sound for it.

In a post, the company revealed that the new 5G phone will have a Glyph Composer, which will let you personalize and remix Swedish House Mafia’s custom sounds. One will just be required to tap the pads to trigger different light as well as sound combinations and compose their own Glyph Ringtone, as shown in the above image. Nothing has also announced that the new ‘Glyph Composer’ feature will also be available on the Nothing Phone (1) smartphone, suggesting that this will be part of the latest Nothing OS 2.0 version.

Nothing x Swedish House Mafia

Nothing has partnered with the Swedish house music DJ trio to create an exclusive Glyph Sound Pack for the Phone (2) and Phone (1) as well.

These are customised ringtones made with this new feature called the ‘Glyph Composer’ that will most likely debut with Nothing OS 2.0. The ringtone synchronises with the Glyph Interface which is the set of white LEDs on the back of the phone.
With the Glyph Composer, you will be able to personalise and remix the custom sounds created by Swedish House Mafia. You can do so by tapping the pads to produce different light and sound combinations. This way you can compose your own Glyph Ringtone.
This is going to be available for the Nothing Phone (1) but there’s no release date yet. Since Nothing OS 2.0 is debuting with the Nothing Phone (2), the software upgrade is expected to reach Phone (1) around the same time.

The Nothing Phone (2) is getting fully official on July 11, and as we get closer to that date, Nothing is doing everything it can to stay in the news cycle almost every day.

Case in point – it’s now announced that house music group Swedish House Mafia has composed an exclusive Glyph Sound Pack for the upcoming device.
You can get a taste for it by playing the video in the embedded tweet below.

The Phone (2) will also launch with the new Glyph Composer on board, which allows you to personalize and remix Swedish House Mafia’s custom sounds.

You simply tap the pads to trigger different light and sound combinations to make your very own Glyph Ringtone.
If you have a Nothing Phone (1), worry not, for the Glyph Composer is also headed to that device.

A release timeframe is unclear right now, but Nothing did say in the past that Nothing OS 2.0, the software the Phone (2) will launch running, would make it to the Phone (1) by the end of August.

If we were to speculate, we’d guess this Glyph Composer feature will be part of that update.

From the video we can see that the Nothing Phone (2) has a non-curved screen, which is no surprise really since it’s rumored to stay about as iPhone-inspired as its predecessor, and iPhones don’t have curved screens either. The sides are also, unsurprisingly, flat, and there seem to only be two cameras on the rear once again. The selfie camera also appears to be center-mounted, not left-aligned.

Nothing Phone (2) launch

Nothing Phone (2) is launching globally on July 11th.

The smartphone will be available in India, and you can pre-order it from June 29th onwards via Flipkart. There are pre-order offers such as a 50 percent discount on Nothing accessories.

Nothing Phone (2) specifications

* Display: The smartphone will feature a 6.7-inch display since the company said it will be 0.15 inches bigger than the Phone (1).

* Processor: It will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset.

* Battery: Nothing Phone (2) is also confirmed to pack a 4,700mAh battery.

* Software: On the software front, it will run Nothing OS 2.0 out-of-the-box. The smartphone is also confirmed to receive three years of Android updates and four years of security updates.

* Cameras: Nothing Phone (2) is expected to house three rear cameras with a 50MP primary sensor with OIS. It could also house a 16MP front camera for selfies.

Other confirmed specifications of Nothing Phone (2)

The upcoming Nothing phone is confirmed to pack a 6.7-inch screen. Comparatively, the Nothing Phone (1) offers a 6.55-inch display.

We do expect the company to offer support for wireless charging tech because the same was available on the first-generation phone too.

In one of the tweets, Nothing also revealed that the latest 5G phone will pack a bigger 4,700mAh battery under the hood.

The new mid-range phone will be powered by Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC under the hood.

Nothing Phone (2) pre-order details revealed

The company’s official website revealed that the Nothing smartphone will be up for pre-order in India starting July 29, and the window will be open via Flipkart.

Nothing has already announced sale offers that will be available during the pre-order event. Consumers will get a 50 percent discount on Nothing accessories.

Nothing Phone (2): Expected price in India

The Nothing Phone (2) is expected to be priced between Rs 40,000 to Rs 45,000 if we go by the specifications and design.

It will likely be seen competing with the Pixel 7a and OnePlus 11R. To recall, the Nothing Phone (2) was launched in India for Rs 32,999. We will have to wait for a few more weeks to know the official pricing of the 5G phone.

Nothing Phone (2): What to expect

The teaster also gives a first look at which is likely the Nothing Phone (2). The smartphone in the video appears to have a centrally-aligned punch-hole cutout, which is in line with the rumours of the Phone (2). Further, the Phone (2) could have flat edges, similar to the Nothing Phone (1).

Pei has been dropping hints about the Phone (2) and suggesting that the upcoming smartphone will offer a superior experience compared to the Phone (1).

The Phone (2) will feature an upgrade to the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip from Qualcomm, which is a step up from the Snapdragon 778G+ used in the first version.
Nothing has confirmed that the Phone (2) will have a larger screen, but rumours suggest it may be about 0.15 inches bigger than the Phone (1). Additionally, the Phone (2) will also boast a larger battery with a capacity of 4700mAh, which is 200mAh more than the previous model.

Red Magic 8S Pro 24GB RAM Debut Phone Launch on July 5 ; to feature Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Leading Version

0

HIGHLIGHTS

* RedMagic 8S Pro’s massive 24GB RAM is actual RAM, not virtual RAM.
* OnePlus and Realme are working on 24GB RAM smartphones as well.
* The RedMagic 8S Pro will also have an overclocked Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor.

Earlier this week, nubia confirmed that it will introduce the RedMagic 8S Pro, successor to the RedMagiC 8 Pro in China on July 5th.

Today, the company has confirmed that it will be the first phone to be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Leading Version clocked at up to 3.36GHz compared to the standard Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.

The Adreno 740 GPU’s clock speed is also expected to be increased, from 680 MHz to 719 MHz increasing the GPU performance.
It will also be the first phone to come with 24GB of RAM, said the company.

This doesn’t include the virtual RAM. Recent rumours revealed that OnePlus Ace 2 Pro will be the first phone to use 24GB of RAM, and realme will also launch a mobile phone with 24GB of RAM, it added.

It is also expected to come with up to 1TB UFS 4.0 of storage. We had already seen 16GB + 1TB model in the RedMagic 8 Pro.
The phone is expected to retain the 6.8-inch Full HD+ OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, 50MP Samsung GN5 sensor, 8MP ultra-wide lens, 2MP macro camera and a 16MP under-display front-facing camera.

We have seen Android brands fight with each other over who can pack smartphones with the most insane numbers on the spec sheet. This is the reason we have phones with 200MP cameras and 210W fast charging speeds.

The brands are now preparing to take existing crazy RAM numbers a notch above in the coming days. Nubia’s RedMagic is set to announce a new smartphone next week that will bring an insane 24GB RAM capacity.

RedMagic 8S Pro Coming with Massive 24GB RAM

Nubia has confirmed on its official Weibo account that the upcoming RedMagic 8S Pro will feature an insane 24GB RAM capacity. If you are thinking this is because of the virtual RAM feature, we would like to make your jaw drop by mentioning that all 24GB RAM will be actual physical RAM.

There is no doubt that such massive RAM will surely boost the multi-tasking, gaming, and heavy editing experience on smartphones but one can argue that it will just be overkill for the majority of the users. This is a discussion we can keep having but brands are certainly interested in making headlines and attracting customers with such massive numbers.

OnePlus and Realme are other brands reported to be working on 24GB RAM smartphones. The OnePlus Ace 2 Pro is tipped to launch next month and comes with a mammoth RAM capacity. As far as the Realme 24GB RAM smartphone is concerned, no other details about it have surfaced yet but it is also expected to arrive sooner than later.

This is not surprising as both OnePlus and Realme are owned by the same parent company.

RedMagic 8S Pro Specifications and Launch Date

Nubia has further confirmed RedMagic 8S Pro will be powered by an overclocked version of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor.

This variant will have a 3.36GHz clock speed as compared to 3.19GHz on the standard model.

It is referred to as the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Leading Version in the teaser post.
Even Adreno 740 GPU clock speed is expected to receive a boost from 680MHz to 719MHz.

The RedMagic 8S Pro launch is set for July 5th at an event that will take place in China. It is also expected to announce a new gaming tablet at the same event.

The rest of RedMagic 8S Pro specifications are expected to stay the same as the RedMagic 8 Pro that debuted globally earlier this year.

It means we will likely see a 6.8-inch Full HD+ OLED display, 120Hz refresh rate, 50MP triple rear camera setup, 16MP under-display front camera, 6000mAh battery, and 80W fast charging.

nubia Red Magic 8S Pro Confirmed to Have Snapdragon 8 Gen 2

As per the official announcements, the Red Magic 8S Pro will ship with the same chipset that powered the Red Magic 8 Pro. Specifically, it will feature Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 rather than the previously rumored Snapdragon 8+ Gen 2.

This confirms that Qualcomm is not working on a new 8 Gen 2 chipset at the moment.

nubia has also confirmed some important specs of the Red Magic 8S Pro. The phone will ship with 24GB of RAM, which is double the RAM count of the Galaxy S23 Ultra.

Thanks to that, you will get a smooth multitasking and gaming performance out of the phone.

In comparison, the Red Magic 8 Pro came with a maximum of 16GB of RAM. Therefore, the new 8S Pro is set to provide a significant upgrade in terms of RAM capacity.

However, nubia did not share any other details of the device. So, it is unclear whether the rest of the specs of the phone will be similar to the 8 Pro or not.

We will need to wait for more official announcements regarding the phone to get more details.

Faqs on Red Magic 8 Pro

1) NUBIA RED MAGIC 8S PRO HAS AN OFFICIAL LAUNCH DATE – SNAPDRAGON 8+ GEN 2 CONFIRMED?

Ans) Just a few days ago, rumors regarding the nubia Red Magic 8S Pro started to build up. In case you missed it, the rumors suggested that the phone would launch with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 2. Well, it turns out that the rumors were wrong. nubia has officially announced details about the device.

Those announcements share that the nubia Red Magic 8S Pro will come with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, not the rumored Snapdragon 8+ Gen 2. In addition, nubia has unveiled the official launch date of the device. It will be debuting on July 5, and the event will take place at 3 PM in China.

2) nubia Red Magic 8S Pro confirmed to have Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 at the helm.Details?

Ans) The nubia Red Magic 8S Pro arriving on July 5 was rumored to have the unannounced Snapdragon 8+ Gen 2 SoC at the helm. However, those rumors have turned out to be wrong since the company has announced that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip will power the Red Magic 8S Pro.

nubia also revealed that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 powering the Red Magic 8S Pro would have its prime core clocked at up to 3.36GHz, unlike the Red Magic 8 Pro, whose Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 prime core has a maximum clock frequency of 3.2GHz.

nubia previously confirmed the Red Magic 8S Pro will have 24GB of RAM onboard, but it’s yet to detail the smartphone’s specs sheet. Rumors claimed the Red Magic 8S Pro is the Red Magic 8 powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 2 instead of Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, but since the company has confirmed that’s not the case, it remains to be seen whether or not the Red Magic 8S Pro will share the rest of its specs with the vanilla model.

The nubia Red Magic 8S Pro’s official unveiling is over a week away, so expect nubia to confirm a few more smartphone features in the event’s lead-up.

3) Nubia Confirms July 5 Arrival for Red Magic 8S Pro.Details?

Ans) The Nubia Red Magic 8S Pro gaming smartphone is arriving on July 5, confirmed the gaming sub-brand today on Weibo.
The launch event will begin at 3 PM and take place in China.
Some reports are saying that the phone will be the same as the Red Magic 8 Pro but with a newer Qualcomm chipset.
Rumours from earlier this month suggested the 8S Pro will have a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 2 platform.

However, some reports are also claiming that Nubia will also launch a gaming tablet along with it. But the ZTE-owned brand mentioned nothing on its page.

Getting back to the Red Magic 8S Pro, we expect the chipset to be the only difference from the Red Magic 8 Pro duo; everything else should be the same.
There will be a big flat 6.8” AMOLED with an under-display selfie camera, 16 GB RAM and plenty of fast charging.
It has a triple camera set at the back. It has a 50MP main camera alongside an 8MP ultra-wide and 2MP macro cameras. Additionally, it will have a massive 6000 mAh battery.

ONEPLUS 12 To Feature Better Camera & A Big Battery : higher charging speed, periscope camera and more on its way

0

HIGHLIGHTS

* Better camera and charging speeds have been tipped for OnePlus 12.
* The OnePlus 12 will be the second phone from the company to come with a periscope camera.
* The OnePlus 12 launch is expected in December in China
* OnePlus 12 is expected to feature a curved 2K Samsung-made screen.
* It will likely have two 50MP cameras and a 64MP periscope lens housed in a symmetrical center-aligned camera visor.
* The device will likely ship with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and 150W fast charge support.

Specifications of OnePlus upcoming flagship phone, the OnePlus 12 have been leaked.
Confirming an earlier report, Chinese tipster Experience More has recently revealed more information regarding the upcoming phone.

OnePlus 12 is expected to come with better camera hardware and faster charging speed than its predecessor.

Early next year, the Chinese mobile phone brand, known for its high-end devices, OnePlus, is expected to launch its new mobile phone, OnePlus 12.

This is following its usual launch pattern for previous models which arrives at the beginning of the year.
Despite the fact that there are still many months before the official release, it is never too early for the rumour mill to roll out juicy details which we usually take with a grain of salt.
A recent Weibo leak reveals some salient details about the OnePlus 12.
The Weibo handle, @ExperienceMore has had some decent leaks in the recent past. Here are its claims regarding the OnePlus 12

* Launch Date: December 2023
* Chip: Snapdragon 8g3
* Display: Center single punch hole Samsung 2K ultra-narrow curved screen
* Camera: 50MP IMX9 series main camera + 50MP wide-angle + 64MP ov64b periscope telephoto
* Battery: 5000 mAh
* Charging Capacity: 150w
* Others: high probability centred symmetrical circular module

OnePlus 12 Camera

According to @ExperienceMore and Gsmarena, the new 64 MP OV64B by OmniVision will replace the lovely 32 MP IMX709 telephoto lens.
Under the hood, this device will also come with a 5,000 mAh battery which is fairly enough for a 2023 flagship going by the battery capacity in recent high-end phones. Also, this device will support 150W fast charging.
It will not be the first time a OnePlus device uses such high-power charging.
However, there are still some questions about the coming flagship that begs for answers.
Recall that the OnePlus 10 Pro and OnePlus 11 downgraded the triple digit charging standard in North America.
At the moment, we can not tell if the company will also downgrade the charging standard of this OnePlus 12 in North America.

OnePlus has been making pretty decent Android phones in the market, and its latest flagship, the OnePlus 11, is no exception.

However, when it comes to the camera, OnePlus has always lagged behind its competitors.
But that might change with the upcoming OnePlus 12, which is rumoured to come with improved cameras.

Just as the leak implies, Sources also claims that this device will debut in December 2023.

However, it is important to note that previous models like the OnePlus 10 and OnePlus 11 did launch in January.

Periscope Zoom Camera

To corroborate this leak from @ExperienceMore, popular and trusted Weibo leakster, @DigitalChatStation (@DCS) has previously revealed the camera improvement of the OnePlus 12.

According to Android Central, OnePlus is testing a periscope zoom camera for its next flagship phone.
The company has primarily stuck to more conventional zoom cameras in the past.

But it looks like OnePlus may finally catch up with its next flagship.

@DCS also recently revealed that OnePlus and Realme are testing periscope cameras for use on the SM8650, which is expected to be the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.
This claim is also the same as the recent report from @Expereince More.

This suggests that the OnePlus 12 may be able to get much closer to the action with its new camera lens.
The addition of the new and improved periscope lens means that the OnePlus 12 will be capable of offering better zoom functionality.
For those who love to take photos of distant objects, this is great news.
The current OnePlus 11 offers a 2x optical zoom camera, which is surprisingly decent even when zooming in beyond that point. However, many of the best Android phones have better zoom capabilities, and OnePlus has been lagging behind in this regard.

Another leaker with a pretty decent track record, Yogesh Brar, has further confirmed the camera upgrade of the OnePlus 12.

His report further claims that the phone will have a 6.7-inch QHD OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate.
Two leaks from Experience More and Yogesh Brar agree on the camera, chip and battery. Another leak from @DCS also agrees with the chip info.
However, Experience More and Yogesh Brar vary in their charging capacity. While the former says 150W, the latter presumes a 100W ceiling.

Improved Camera Performance

Trusted Reviews claims that OnePlus has never quite matched the flagship camera experience of its rivals.
This is despite the association with the specialists at Hasselblad.
The absence of long optical zoom has been felt, but it seems the company might be on the way to resolving one of the biggest complaints.
The OnePlus 11 improved the situation, but there are still some niggles that stop it from being the best camera phone around.
With the OnePlus 12, the company is expected to add the final piece of the camera puzzle.

Software Optimization

OnePlus has always been known for its software optimization.
The company claims in a blog post that it has been working hard to improve its camera performance through software updates.
The company has been releasing regular updates to improve the camera performance, and the results have been impressive.
However, the OnePlus 12 is expected to take the camera performance to the next level.

OnePlus 12 periscope camera tipped

The highlight of the leak is a new periscope camera for the OnePlus 12.
This would the make the OnePlus 12 the second phone from the company to feature a periscope camera, assuming the OnePlus V Fold, which is launching later this year, to be the first.
Earlier, tipster Max Jambor had also spoken about the OnePlus 12 getting a periscope lens.
To recall, OnePlus had tested a periscope camera for one of its OnePlus 10 Pro iterations, but it never reached the market.

The OnePlus 12 camera combination is said to be 50MP+50MP+64MP, with the main rear camera having an IMX9 series sensor, all housed in a circular camera module. We assume it could be Sony’s 1-inch IMX989, which is present on the Xiaomi 13 Pro and Vivo X90 Pro+.

The ultra-wide camera will also be 50MP, while the telephoto lens will be upgraded from 32MP IMX709 to the 64MP OV64B by OmniVision.

Further, the tipster, through his Weibo post (via), has tipped a third-generation Snapdragon 8 series chipset for the phone.

Another notable detail is the higher charging speed, with a 50 percent increase in wattage as compared to the predecessor, OnePlus 11.
A wired charging speed of 150W has been tipped for the OnePlus 12.

OnePlus 12 Quick specifications (expected)

Here are the specs the phone is expected to come with based on the latest leak.

Display: 2K Resolution, Samsung panel with Ultra-narrow bezels and centre punch-hole. The display specs of the phone have also been tipped earlier, speaking about an OLED display with QHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.

Processor: Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Chipset which is expected to come with a new Adreno 750 GPU, later this year.

Camera: 50MP IMX9-series Main camera sensor, along with a 50MP Wide-angle and 64MP Omnivision OV64B Periscope camera sensors, an upgrade over 50MP+48MP+32MP setup present in the OnePlus 11.

Charging Speed: 150W, an upgrade over OnePlus 11’s 100W fast charging. The brand earlier brought this feature to OnePlus 10R.

Battery: Similar to its predecessor, the OnePlus 11 will come with a 5,000 mAH battery.

Design: The upcoming phone is expected to feature a Circular Camera model at the centre of the back panel.

OnePlus 12 launch timeline

The brand is expected to launch the OnePlus 12 in its home country in December of this year, slightly earlier than the January release that OnePlus 11 received. Following the usual timeline, the phone should make its way to global markets early next year.

The OnePlus 12 is expected to be a significant upgrade over its predecessor. The improved camera performance is one of the most anticipated features.

With the addition of the periscope zoom camera, the OnePlus 12 will be capable of offering a better zoom function.

This is great news for OnePlus fans who are also mobile phone camera enthusiasts. OnePlus has always been known for its software optimization.
The company is expected to take the camera performance to the next level with the OnePlus 12.

Faqs on OnePlus 12

1) OnePlus 12 leak claims very fast charging is on the way . All Details?

Ans) The OnePlus 12 is the company’s next top-tier handset, which is already rumored to launch earlier than the predecessor models. While we recently saw rumors hinting at a new-gen display and better cameras, a new leak corroborates previously leaked specs and reveals top-tier charging speed.

The latest spec leak comes from a leaker on Weibo who put out the specifications of the alleged OnePlus 12 in a new post on the micro-blogging site.

According to the tipster, the OnePlus 12 will likely be powered by the next-gen Qualcomm processor, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, which is also expected to be unveiled early this year at the Snapdragon Summit in October.
That’s not too surprising, as it’s what previous leaks have stated.

The tipster also predicts the launch is likely to happen in December this year, a month sooner than the previous OnePlus flagship launch.

The launch timeline also corroborates the earlier leak and could be due to the Snapdragon launch, which has also been moved up from last year.

The tipster also states that the OnePlus 12 will feature a centered punch-hole camera housing, with a display made by Samsung featuring slightly curved edges and a 2K resolution.
It could be a part of a new-gen display alongside the symmetrical design, as mentioned in the earlier tip from last week.

The new display aesthetic would deviate from previous OnePlus premium phones like the OnePlus 11 and the OnePlus 10 Pro, which always featured the selfie camera aligned to the top left corner.

As for optics, the OnePlus 12 could come with two 50MP cameras, of which the Sony IMX9 series one could act as the primary camera coupled with another 50MP wide-angle lens.
The tipster adds that another 64MP periscope lens would also be added to the camera island.
It is also expected to be aligned symmetrically around the center at the back of the device.

Lastly, the OnePlus 12 could see a 5000mAh battery capacity with a whopping 150W fast charging support, already glimpsed in some of the best Android phones, like the Realme GT Neo 3 and the OnePlus 10R.
Overall, OnePlus appears to be gearing up with a whole new design with the OnePlus 12 aided by impressive specs on paper and a better zoom camera (as hinted in the previous leak).

Aside from the flagship, we also anticipate the launch of the OnePlus Fold, which is rumored to be happening in the coming months to take on the leading foldable phones in the market.

2) What are OnePlus 12 specifications (Expected)?

Ans) Based on the latest leak, here’s a look at what the OnePlus 12 is expected to come with.
* Display: The OnePlus 12 is expected to feature a 6.7-inch QHD OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
* Processor: Under the hood of the phone could be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor which will debut towards the end of this year. It will be Qualcomm’s flagship mobile chipset and offer a 35 percent improvement in energy efficiency.
* Battery, charging: The smartphone is said to pack a 5,000mAh battery with support for 100W fast charging.
* Cameras: The OnePlus 12 is said to feature a triple camera setup with a 50MP primary sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide angle lens, and a 64MP periscope lens.
* Speaking of which, the periscope lens will be a major camera upgrade for the OnePlus 12 since it will be able to offer much better zoom capabilities. This is already present in most premium flagship smartphones like the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra and Google Pixel 7 Pro that offer 10x optical zoom and 5x optical zoom, respectively.

3) OnePlus 12 key specifications leaked months before launch.Details?

Ans) * OnePlus 12 is expected to launch in China in December 2023
* A new leak has revealed the key specifications of the device
* It will come with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and a periscope zoom camera
OnePlus 12 key specifications have been tipped. The leak, courtesy of tipster Yogesh Brar, has revealed information on the display, processor, rear cameras, battery, and charging capabilities of OnePlus’ next flagship phone.
The leak reveals that the OnePlus 12 could be the first smartphone from the brand to feature a periscope zoom camera. Qualcomm is expected to announce the next-generation chip in November this year. It is likely that the said chip will power the OP112.
According to the tipster, the OnePlus 12 will be equipped with a 6.7-inch OLED display that offers a Quad HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.

It appears that it will continue to feature a punch-hole screen with curved edges and an in-display fingerprint scanner, like the OnePlus 11.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset is likely to power the OnePlus 12.
While it is not mentioned in the leak, it appears that it could be equipped with LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage.

The device is expected to run on Android 14 OS and OxygenOS 14.
There is no word on the front camera of the OnePlus 12.
However, the leak states that it will be equipped with a 50-megapixel main camera, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 64-megapixel periscope zoom camera.
The OP12 will arrive with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 100W charging. It is unclear whether the device will lack support for wireless charging.
The OnePlus 11 debuted in December 2022 in China and was announced in February this year in India.
Hence, it is likely that the OnePlus 12 will arrive in the Indian market by the first quarter of 2024.

4) OnePlus 12 rumor suggests incoming periscope telephoto lens.Details?

Ans) OnePlus has been making huge progress with its phone cameras in recent years.
The OnePlus 11, in particular, is one of the best camera phones around.
The OnePlus 12 might be taking things a little further and adding a long-awaited piece of camera hardware: a periscope lens.
This rumor comes from a Weibo post (via PhoneArena (opens in new tab) ), claiming OnePlus is testing a new periscope lens to improve the optical zoom capabilities of the OnePlus 12.

Considering the OnePlus 11’s telephoto lens currently offers 2x optical zoom, that upgrade would be long overdue.
The leaker claims that Oneplus and RealMe “both have periscope arrangements.

They are currently testing on the SM8650 product line.” SM8650, as PhoneArena notes, is the expected codename for the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.
That would line up with this being a OnePlus 12 feature, since the chip isn’t due until later this year and the OnePlus 12 won’t be arriving until early 2024.
Other phone companies are fast increasing their phones’ level of magnification, so this is a feature OnePlus can’t afford to ignore — not like it’s sort of done with wireless charging.

Even Apple, a company that also doesn’t rush to offer new hardware features is said to be adding a periscope lens to the iPhone 15 Pro Max — and potentially even the iPhone 16 Pro next year.
The thing about telephoto lenses and optical zoom is that they need space — and the higher the magnification the more space is required.

Keeping a traditional horizontal lens naturally limits how much magnification you can offer, because going too high inevitably increases the thickness of the phone. And if there’s anything modern smartphone companies hate, it’s unnecessarily thick phones.
The periscope lens helps solve that problem, by bending the light 90 degrees into a vertical telephoto lens setup. Just like the periscope of a submarine.
Storing the lens vertically means there’s a lot more available space to exploit, allowing phones to offer much higher levels of magnification without altering the exterior design too much.
We declared the OnePlus 11 as the best value flagship Android phone in our OnePlus11 review. The camera was particularly noteworthy, especially given OnePlus’s now-long-running partnership with Hasselblad.
It’s not enough to seriously compete with better camera phones, like the Pixel 7 Pro.
The 2x telephoto zoom was a particular let down, especially after the 3,3x optical zoom of the OnePlus 10 Pro.

Here’s hoping that this new periscope camera can fix that problem, and offer some serious magnification on the OnePlus 12. And hopefully for a similar kind of price to the OnePlus 11.

5) OnePlus 12 will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and feature a big camera upgrade says tipster.Details?

Ans) A post made on the Chinese social media site Weibo by tipster Digital Chat Station (via AndroidAuthority) indicates that OnePlus is looking to upgrade its camera array for the next flagship release.

The tipster, who correctly leaked Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon naming plan before it was announced by the chip designer back in 2021, now says that OnePlus is testing a periscope camera on a product associated with a model number of “SM8650.”
The latter turns out to be the rumored identity code of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset.
So let’s add up the clues. The device in question will be powered by Qualcomm’s 2024 top-of-the-line application processor, it is expected to have a periscope camera, and it is being manufactured by OnePlus. It’s not too hard to figure out that Digital Chat Station is writing about the OnePlus 12. In his Weibo post, the tipster says that both OnePlus and Realme, both brands that are under the umbrella of Chinese manufacturer BBK Electronics, are testing the inclusion of a periscope camera on phones that will sport the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC.

The post also notes that not all of the phones will use the OmniVision 64B image sensor which has backed several telephoto lenses using a periscope camera.

A periscope camera offers greater optical zoom capabilities than you would normally be able to get from a device as small as a smartphone.
That’s because normally the focal length of the lens cannot exceed the thickness of the handset.
But with a periscope camera, the lens inside the device is folded up and mirrored prisms are used to help bend the light helping to take it from the lens to the image sensor.

For example, without a periscope camera, the OnePlus 11 delivers 2x optical zoom. The Pixel 7 Pro, which does have a periscope camera, can give users up to 5x optical zoom and the periscope camera on the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra gives users up to 10x optical zoom.

6) OnePlus may finally adopt a periscope zoom camera.Details?

Ans) A big trend in smartphones over the past few years has been the “periscope” zoom camera, and it seems OnePlus will finally adopt the tech in an upcoming release.
Periscope lenses in smartphones allow for zoom that goes beyond 2-3x. Google uses the technique in Pixel phones to hit up to 5x optical zoom, while Samsung uses it for the 10x telephoto lens on its Ultra devices, and countless other brands have been jumping on board too. Even Apple is rumored to introduce a periscope lens on its next iPhone.
But OnePlus, surprisingly, has yet to use a periscope zoom lens in its smartphones. The OnePlus 10 Pro and OnePlus 11 both maxed out with traditional zoom methods at 3.3x and 2x respectively.
It seems that may soon change, though. Digital Chat Station reports on Weibo that OnePlus has a “periscope arrangement” in the pipeline, with testing underway. It’s unclear what optical zoom level OnePlus is aiming for, but the simple fact the brand is finally jumping on board is great to see.
Presumably, this would make its debut in the OnePlus 12 sometime next year. OnePlus’ next smartphone is expected to be its first foldable, which would be a relatively odd place for the tech to debut. Periscope lenses are quite rare in foldables, with Google’s new Pixel Fold offering the tech, as well as Huawei’s Mate X3 and some others. But most stick with rather basic camera hardware for the sake of space.

No Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 2 in sight

Tipster Digital Chat Station claims on Weibo that the iQOO 11S will continue to use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC clocked at 3.2GHz, rather than opting for the overclocked 3.36GHz version.

This comes as no surprise, as both the QOO 11 and 11 Pro also employ the same processor with identical clock speeds.

Additionally, DCS has confirmed that the handset will feature VC cooling.

However, reports have claimed the iQOO 11S will get the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 2 under the hood.

OnePlus, last week, teased the launch of the OnePlus Nord 3.

Now, the company has revealed that the OnePlus Nord 3 will launch on July 5 in the country.

Alongside, the Nord 3, the Chinese smartphone giant will also unveil the OnePlus Nord CE 3 on July 5. OnePlus has also confirmed that it will introduce the OnePlus Nord Buds 2r and OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z2 ANC in the upcoming event.

Alongside the launch date, OnePlus has also confirmed the design of the upcoming mid-range Nord series smartphone – the OnePlus Nord CE 3.

The company reveals that the Nord CE 3 will come in an Aqua Surge colour option. Apart from it, the mid-range Nord handset is also expected to come in a Grey/Black colour variant which was leaked in live images recently.

The official teaser reveals that the OnePlus Nord CE 3 will feature a triple-rear camera setup and an LED flash.

The camera module design of the Nord CE 3 seems to be similar to that of the Nord 3. The teaser image also shows an IR blaster along the top edge of the device.

Recently leaked images suggested that the Nord CE 3 will feature a curved display with a centered punch hole notch.

Also, OnePlus has revealed that the OnePlus Nord 3 will come in Tempest Gray and Misty Green colour options.

The latest teaser shared by the company reveals the OnePlus Nord 3’s back panel design.

The back panel design of the upcoming Nord series smartphones seems to be similar to that of the OnePlus Ace 2V which was launched a couple of months ago in China.

OnePlus has already confirmed the inclusion of an alert slider and a flat display for the OnePlus Nord 3.

In another development, tipster Ishan Agarwal has revealed that the OnePlus Nord 3 will feature a 50MP Sony IMX890 sensor with OIS similar to the OnePlus 11 and OnePlus 11R.

Ishan also claims that Nord 3 will be offered in a 16GB memory variant in the Indian market. Recently, the OnePlus Nord 3 India pricing surfaced on the web.

As per the leak, the OnePlus Nord 3 will be priced at Rs 32,999 for 8GB + 128GB configuration in the country. The smartphone might also come in a 16GB + 256GB variant which is said to cost Rs 36,999.

OnePlus will reveal more about the OnePlus Nord 3, OnePlus Nord CE 3, and Nord Buds 2r in the next couple of days.

The company will drop the next teasers to reveal Nord 3 and Nord CE 3 features on June 28.

OnePlus, today, announced that it will launch a bunch of new hardware including OnePlus Nord 3 5G, OnePlus Nord CE 3 5G, OnePlus Nord Buds 2r, and OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z2 ANC at a special global OnePlus Nord Summer event on July 5.

OnePlus has— also— released the first look at the design of the OnePlus Nord 3, which appears to be the “hero” product among the lot.

It will – presumably— be a follow-up to the OnePlus Nord 2.

The OnePlus Nord CE 3 likewise, should replace the OnePlus Nord CE 2.

The OnePlus Nord Buds 2r wireless earbuds are expected to be a dialled down more affordable version of the OnePlus Nord Buds 2.

The OnePlus BWZ2 ANC meanwhile will build upon the OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z2, possibly with even better active noise cancellation going by OnePlus’s choice of naming— but we’ll see.

The OnePlus Nord 3, OnePlus has confirmed will come in two “arresting” colours called Tempest Gray and Misty Green.

While the Tempest Gray model will have a textured matte finish, the Misty Green version will feature a glossy finish.

The design, all round, seems to be based on the China-exclusive OnePlus Ace 2V, which is to say it will have a flat chassis, presumably made of plastic. The alert slider seems to be a big draw after OnePlus for some reason chose to remove it from certain Nord devices in the past. Granular hardware details are a mystery at the time of writing but it’s confirmed that the OnePlus Nord 3 will have a triple camera setup on the rear.

OnePlus Nord 3 was imminent after OnePlus kicked off a promotional campaign called “the Lab to allow the OnePlus community to test and review “the next Nord” ahead of potential launch. OnePlus touts the Lab as an initiative to encourage— and showcase— “unfiltered” reviews from creators based on their skill, rather than follower count.

The said reviews were pegged to go live sometime in July and the OnePlus Nord 3 launch is right on schedule.

The OnePlus Nord CE 3 launch is a surprise, as there has not been a lot of buzz about it in the grapevine but it’s interesting to see OnePlus vying for more options for potential buyers across different price points.

The Nord CE 3, OnePlus has confirmed, will arrive in Aqua Surge, but there should be more options available at launch.

The OnePlus Nord 3 launch date in India has finally been revealed.

The company announced on Monday that it will be holding its OnePlus Nord Summer Launch Event on July 5th at 7 pm IST.

In addition to the Nord 3 5G, the brand will also announce the OnePlus Nord CE 3 5G and the Nord Buds 2r.

The rear camera is tipped to support 4K 30fps video recording.
The device will feature an IR blaster, X-axis linear motor, NFC support, etc.

However, there will not be an alert slider, which has been found in many premium OnePlus phones.

The Nord CE 3 will also feature a plastic frame.

It will launch in two colours, according to Sharma, which will be called Aqua Surge and Grey Shimmer.

After the successful launch of the OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite 5G last April.
OnePlus will be dropping its next-gen premium Nord-series flagship Android smartphone in the coming months.
The OnePlus Nord 3 5G is an all-around mid-range phone that offers a flagship-grade experience from the display, battery, fast charging technology, software, and chipset.
We’ll look more closely at the OnePlus Nord 3 5G with a hands-on review in the coming weeks but for now, let’s unbox and take a first look at it.

Unboxing OnePlus Nord 3 5G

The packaging box for the OnePlus Nord 3 5G has the same material and looks as the Nord CE 3 Lite 5G that we reviewed ( review ).
The box is very simple clad in an all-black color.
In the middle of the top cover, you’ll spot a blue stripe design with a Nord logo on it. There’s also a OnePlus icon found in the top right corner.

It is made of thick cardboard-type material with a nice matte finish.
There’s no sample image of the phone but a few elements can be found at the bottom like the IMEI, certification marks, and specs.

Opening the box revealed a separate black compartment box that holds some of the included accessories.
Underneath it, the phone nestled snugly inside then at the bottom are a charger and cable.

OnePlus Nord 3 5G Box Contents

Taking everything out of the box you’ll get the following contents:
* OnePlus Nord 3 5G Unit
* 80W SUPERVOOC Charger
* USB-A to USB-C Cable
* SIM Ejector Tool
* Quick Start Guide
* Safety Guide
* Welcome Letter
You also get a screen protector that’s pre-applied on the phone.

Unfortunately, OnePlus did not include a protective case in its retail box for this model.

Design OnePlus Nord 3

The Misty Green color is the only variant OnePlus will be releasing for this model.
It is sandwiched by a Gorilla Glass 5 on the back and a Dragontrail Glass for the front giving the phone extra protection against scratches and accidental drops.

The frame is made of aluminum with a thickness of 8.1mm and gets a smooth flat frame design in a matte finish.
It has a modern flat squared-off body with rounded edges at the corners.
With the Gorilla Glass 5, the 2.8D curved back cover automatically gets a glossy finish that will easily attract fingerprints and smudges.

You will spot two large circular camera lenses that are slightly protruding in the top left corner with two LED flash just beside them.

A OnePlus icon can be found at the center and certification marks at the bottom. On the left, you have the volume rockers.

The right side edge holds the power/sleep button and the iconic alert slider a small switch to quickly move through silent, vibrate, and ring modes.

The top edge has a secondary microphone, speaker, and IR blaster as a remote control for your TV or controls other smart devices.

At the bottom, you will find the speaker grille, USB-C port, microphone, and SIM card tray.
Looking at the front, it has slim bezels all around the screen and a punch-hole notch design for the front-facing camera.

OnePlus removed the screen plastic frame that was used in its previous model to make the new Nord 3 5G a perfectly flat screen for a visually striking appeal.
