OnePlus has started rolling out the Android 13 Stable update for the OnePlus Nord 2 in India, as announced by the company via the OnePlus Community Forum. This comes after the Nord 2 OxygenOS 13 Open Beta program was announced back in March.
The handset originally debuted back in July 2021 and came with Android 11 and Android 13 is the last Android version upgrade for the device. The update comes with the firmware version DN2101_11.F.22. The OxygenOS 13 skin brings along several new features to the table such as aquamorphic design and new privacy and security-related enhancements.
OnePlus has started rolling out Android 13 Stable update for the OnePlus Nord 2 smartphone in the Indian market. This comes after the OnePlus Nord 2 OxygenOS 13 Open Beta program that was announced back in March.

Android 13-based OxygenOS custom skin is available to vanilla OnePlus Nord 2 and OnePlus Nord 2 PAC-MAN Edition. OxygenOS 13 brings new Aquamorphic Design theme colours for enhanced visual comfort. The system automatically applies the Aquamorphic Design philosophy to animations to make them natural and vivid.
The update adds Shadow-Reflective Clock, with shadow simulating the orientation of the sun and moon. There is a new world clock widget that as the name suggests shows the time in different time zones.
The system is upgraded to Quantum Animation Engine 4.0, with a new behaviour recognition feature, which recognises complex gestures and provides optimised interactions. The update also optimises UI layers for a clearer and neater visual experience. The update adds large folders to the Home screen, and media playback controls, and optimises the Quick Setting experience.
There is a new Sidebar Toolbox, where you can open a floating window inside apps for smooth operation.
As for personalisation, the Android 13 update optimises Bitmoji to offer more always-on Display animations. This also adds an automatic pixelation feature for chat screenshots and the system can identify and automatically pixelate profile pictures and display names in a chat screenshot to protect your privacy.
The Android 13 update adds Dynamic Computing Engine to improve the system speed, stability, battery life, and app experience.
