Samsung Galaxy S23 series was launched officially at the Unpacked event on Wednesday.
As expected, the lineup includes three models: Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 Plus, and the mighty Galaxy S23 Ultra.
These are the brand’s new flagship phones of the year, with probably many more to follow in the next few months. The devices don’t look much different from their Galaxy S22 counterparts.
The Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23 Plus have rounded edges for a comfortable grip in hands, a centre-positioned punch-hole cutout, triple cameras on the back, and an in-display fingerprint sensor for security.

Samsung Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 Plus, Galaxy S23 Ultra Price in India
Samsung will announce the Galaxy S23 series price in India on Thursday, February 2nd at 11 am.
We will update this story once the prices are out. In the US, the Galaxy S23 starts from USD 1,199 (approx Rs 98,000).
Samsung Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 Plus Specifications, Features
The Samsung Galaxy S23 sports a 6.1-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 120Hz refresh rate, Vision booster, punch-hole cutout for the selfie shooter, and 240Hz Touch Sampling Rate in Game mode.
On the other hand, the Galaxy S23 Plus has a 6.6-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X Display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz Touch Sampling Rate in Game Mode, and a Vision booster.
Both phones are powered by the overclocked version of Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC paired with Adreno GPU.
The chipset is paired with 8GB RAM and up to 512GB storage that is further expandable. Both models run on Android 13-based OneUI 5.1 custom skin out of the box.
Moving to optics, the vanilla Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23 Plus pack a 50MP primary camera with an LED Flash, f/1.8 aperture, and OIS, a 12MP 120-degree FoV, and a 10MP telephoto sensor with 3x optical zoom.
There is a 12MP snapper on the front for selfies and video chats.
The Samsung Galaxy S23 packs a 3,900mAh battery with 25W fast charging and the Galaxy S23 Plus has a large 4,700mAh battery with 45W fast charging.
There’s Fast Wireless charging 2.0 and Wireless PowerShare support. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, and a USB Type-C port for charging.
The phones also come with an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance.

The Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra flaunts a 6.8-inch QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with 120Hz refresh rate support, 240Hz touch sampling rate in the Game mode, Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2, Vision booster, and a hole-punch cutout at the top centre.
The phones are expected to pack an in-display fingerprint sensor for security. The Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra is powered by the overclocked version of Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC paired with Adreno GPU.
The phone comes in four models: 8GB + 256GB, 12GB + 256GB, 12GB + 512GB, and 12GB + 1TB storage.
