Infinix has officially teased its latest lineup, Zero 5G, in India. The company teased the device on Twitter and is the first 5G phone from Infinix. Here’s all that you need to know about it!
Infinix Zero 5G built and design
In an interview, Infinix India CEO Anish Kapoor confirmed that the company is working on its first 5G-enabled smartphone dubbed Infinix Zero 5G.
According to the sources, the Infinix Zero 5G will be powered by the Dimensity 900 processor, featuring a Uni-curve design. It also appears that the device will be launched in two colours, namely Black and Orange. The impression of the orange variant suggests it could be equipped with a leather back. Furthermore, the power button on the side could also be used as a fingerprint scanner. It will also feature a triple camera setup paired with two LED flash units.
Infinix Zero 5G specifications (rumored)
The tease has revealed that the Infinix Zero 5G has a 6.67-inch OLED display, offering a Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. For selfies, it may feature a front camera of 16MP,and its rear camera setup may comprise a 48MP primary camera, an ultrawide lens, and a telephoto snapper.
The display on Infinix Zero 5G features a punch-hole cut-out and will house dual-LED flashlights. Under the hood, it will sport the Dimensity 900 chipset and come paired with 8GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage. Furthermore, it may boast a massive battery of 5000mAh power, supporting 33W fast charging.

The device is expected to range between a sub of 20,000, supporting the Indian budget-friendly range. Additionally, now that the Indian division of the brand has its teased arrival, it appears that the Zero 5G may land in India in February.
Oppo has collaborated with MediaTek to customize its Dimensity 1200 chipset for its flagship Reno 7 Pro, which is set to be launched on February 4.
The upgraded SoC born out of this collaboration is called the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 MAX. The work put in by Oppo has resulted in an enhanced display, better imaging capabilities and clearer videos when compared to the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 in the Reno 6 Pro, the chipset maker said in a statement.
The 5G MediaTek Dimensity 1200 MAX features one of the fastest smartphone CPUs. It comprises the 3GHz Arm Cortex-A78 and achieves up to 5100Mbps peak downlink and 700Mbps uplink speeds.
Thanks to MediaTek’s Open Resource Architecture, Oppo has incorporated AI Deblur technology into the chipset. This proprietary deblurring algorithm sharpens faces in portraits affected by hand-held shaking.
Additionally, the AI-PQ (picture quality) feature baked into the SoC enhances colour and contrast in HDR videos. It uses artificial intelligence to distinguish the subject matter on the screen—whether people, food, grass, sky, buildings, etc—and then uses different colours, sharpness and other display effects for optimum output.

The Reno 7 Pro 5G also houses a top-of-the-line X-Axis Linear Motor that delivers varying levels of vibration feedback for an immersive gaming experience. The smartphone’s Ultra Touch Response intelligently identifies specific gaming situations and increases the touch sampling rate up to 1000Hz. Its AI Frame Rate Stabilizer monitors the system’s performance in real-time to manage frame rate stability during gaming.
The phone also incorporates an industry-leading 65W SuperVooc fast-charging feature that charges the phone to 100% in 31 minutes. The technology also prevents battery heating thus allowing users to play games while charging their device.
The Reno 7 series comes with 256GB storage and 12GB RAM. Oppo’s RAM expansion technology allows users to borrow an additional 3GB/5GB/7GB from storage capacity to work as RAM in extremely demanding conditions. That said, the Reno 7 Pro’s 12GB RAM is more than adequate to handle modern-day smartphone tasks.
The Reno 7 series will run on Oppo’s new ColorOS 12, which is defined by a clean and uncluttered UI complete with new 3D Icons that are simple yet aesthetically pleasing. In a first, ColorOS 12 offers Omoji. This feature—boosted by Oppo’s proprietary Face Capture algorithm—allows users to express their unique style through a personalized emoji avatar. Apple-owned audio sub-brand Beats has come up with a new set of TWS earbuds called Beats Fit Pro, which features active noise cancellation (ANC) with Spatial Audio support and are powered by Apple’s H1 chip.
The all-new TWS earphones sport a wing-tip for a secure fit and IPX4 water and sweat resistance which are of great use especially during long workout sessions. Compatible with both Android and iOS devices, these earbuds also come with support for Apple’s Find My tool.
The Beats Fit Pro TWS earbuds were earlier launched in the US in November last year, and are priced at $199.99 (roughly Rs 15,000) in the US. They are now available globally, with the price in UK being GBP 199.99 (roughly Rs 20,100) and in Australia, the price is AUD 299.95 (roughly Rs 15,700). In Europe, the earphones are priced at EUR 229.95 (roughly Rs 19,200) and in Japan, the Beats Fit Pro are priced at JPY 24,800 (roughly Rs 16,100).
These earphones are also available in Canada, South Korea, and other regions. However, there is no update on their availability in India so far. The hearables have been launched in four colour options – Beats Black, Beats White, Sage Gray, and Stone Purple.

Specs-wise, the earphones come with Apple’s dual-element diaphragm driver that help deliver a clear sound. The Apple App Store now supports unlisted apps that are only accessible with a link, said the Cupertino-based tech major in an update on its developer website.
According to an AppleInsider report, unlisted app distribution allows developers to release apps that are not meant for public use. Such apps will not appear in any App Store categories, recommendations charts, search results or listings.
These apps can also be accessed through the Apple Business Manager or Apple School Manager. Developers will be able to distribute apps to a limited audience, which could include part-time employees, partners, business affiliates or conference attendees.
Besides, apps can be distributed to employee-owned devices that might not be eligible for a mobile device management platform.

Apple said that apps aimed at “specific organisations, special events or research studies, or apps used as employee resources or sales tools” are all good use cases for unlisted app distribution.
As per the report, the feature is currently available by request only. Developers will need to submit a request to receive a link for an unlisted app. The tech giant said that unlisted apps must be ready for distribution — the company will decline any app in beta or pre-release state.
Developers will be able to create unlisted distribution links for both new and existing apps. If a request is approved, the app’s distribution method will change to “Unlisted App” for both current and future versions. If the app is already listed on the App Store, its primary listing will remain unchanged, said the report.
Tech giant Apple has posted an all-time revenue record of $123.9 billion, up 11 percent for year-over-year, and quarterly earnings per diluted share of $2.10 for its fiscal 2022 first quarter ended December 25, 2021. Redmi Smart TV X43 launching in India on February 9
Redmi is all set to add a new TV to its X series portfolio, the Redmi Smart TV X43. Currently, the Redmi smart TV is available in 50, 55 and 65-inch screen sizes. Apple adds unlisted apps to its App Store
Apple will now allow developers to distribute unlisted apps through the App Store that only users with a direct link can access. While unlisted apps are not discoverable to the general public through App Store search results, categories, charts, or recommendations, they are available to administrators through Apple Business Manager or Apple School Manager. Apple makes it very clear that unlisting an app is not meant as a way to distribute pre-release versions.
