HearPods Pro 2 follows a proven and polished earbuds design philosophy. It gives off a premium feel right from the first glance.

Let’s talk about the case first. The case of the HearPods Pro 2 is a true embodiment of modern aesthetics.

With its glossy finish and rounded edges, it exudes an elegant charm. The hinge, a small yet crucial detail, boasts quality construction that ensures smooth opening and closing.

The compact design is a major plus, making the case effortlessly fit in the palm of our hand or slide comfortably into our pockets. The build quality is solid, leaving us with the impression that these earbuds are built to last.

The magnetic hold within the case is strong enough and we felt completely secure about the earbuds staying in place. This means you don’t have to worry about the earbuds accidentally falling out while on the move.

On the front, the subtle Hearmo branding accompanied by an indicator light adds a touch of sophistication. Flipping the case reveals the Type-C charging port at the bottom, while the back elegantly highlights the presence of Active Noise Cancellation (ANC).

As for the earbuds, they too have a similar gloss finish as the case. Classifying under the “In Ear Canalphone” category, the HearPods Pro 2 snugly fits into the ear canal, providing passive noise isolation that complements the Active Noise Cancellation.

These buds come with various ear tip sizes to cater to different ear sizes, ensuring that everyone finds their optimal fit.
Although there’s no branding on the earbuds, their sleek appearance speaks volumes about their premium nature.

However, we wish the earbuds had clear markings indicating which earbud is left or right. This is a minor detail that could enhance the user experience, as knowing the orientation at a glance would be quite handy.

Lastly, the IPX4 rating ensures that the HearPods Pro 2 are resistant to splashes and sweat, making them your ideal companion for workouts or outdoor adventures, rain or shine.

Speaking of sound quality, what instantly caught our attention about HearPods Pro 2 was the deep bass response. The Pro 2’s ability to deliver a rich and powerful low-end experience is commendable.

First of all, let’s establish the fact that GT10 Pro is a device for gamers. So, everything about this phone screams for gamers’ attention. The design is pretty imaginative even though comparisons with Nothing Phones can’t be avoided at this point.

However, we would not say that GT10 Pro is anything like the Nothing Phones. What is calling for comparison is the LED light system at the back along with the transparent glass panel.

Also, similar to Nothing Phones, you can configure LED lights for various functions. The camera module is massive at the back and adds to the overall game look of the device.

On the whole, in terms of functionality and design, Infinix has done a really good job with the GT10 Pro.

In terms of durability, the POCO M6 Pro gains an edge with Corning Gorilla Glass v3 protection, which shields the display against scratches and minor impacts.

Let’s talk about the performance of both devices. And to do this, we have to start by comparing the key hardware both devices carry.

Let’s do an AnTuTu score comparison for better understanding.

Poco claimed in all marketing materials that the smartphone has achieved a score of over 4,37,000 on AnTuTu. So, we had to test.

When we performed the AnTuTu test on our review unit, M6 Pro achieved slightly higher than the brand’s claim and recorded 4,46,310 points. While this indeed is impressive, GT10 Pro is a clear winner with an AnTuTu score of around 700K.

This GT10 Pro benchmark score also makes it one of the most powerful smartphones in its segment.

Both phones are set to deliver smooth and responsive user experiences for everyday activities like browsing, social media engagement, and enjoying multimedia content.

However, if you’re someone who tends to engage in more demanding tasks like gaming or juggling multiple apps simultaneously, the Infinix GT10 Pro’s additional RAM could give you the edge you’re looking for.

Earlier, the users had to take out different mention stickers while tagging every single person.

Adam Mosseri, the head of Instagram, wrote on his broadcast channel on Friday: “We’re exploring a technique to tag a group of people in a story with a single mention. Anyone in the group can use a group mention they’ve already created to automatically tag everyone in any future stories.”

“So, if you’re on a summer vacation with friends, it will be simpler to include everyone without having to tag each person separately,” he added.

This function will be useful since it will make stories clearer and less cluttered when numerous persons are mentioned in one post, which will improve the viewing experience for followers.

The company rolled out a feature last week that better shields users from unauthorised
DM requests.
Two new limitations will apply to users who want to send DM requests to users who do not follow them as a result of this feature.

Users will only be able to send one message to people who don’t follow them, as opposed to sending them endless DM requests.

Second, users can only send images, movies, or audio messages to those who don’t follow them once they accept the invitation to chat because direct message
invitations are now just text-based.

Visually, the OnePlus Nord Buds 2r closely resemble the Nord Buds 2, sharing the same basic shape but with smaller dimensions. The stalks of the 2r have been rounded off, which differentiates them from the Nord Buds 2.

The case for the two models is quite similar, but the 2r case is ever so slightly smaller and showcases a redesigned interior.

However, it does lack the pairing button found on the Nord Buds 2 case. The Thunder Gray and Lightning White colors have been replaced with more vibrant shades of Deep Gray and Triple Blue.

In our opinion the design is an appealing blend of familiarity with subtle new touches that cater to the aesthetics of the target audience.

OnePlus Nord Buds 2r: Features

The Nord Buds 2r come with an IP55 rating for dust and water resistance, making them suitable for daily use and workouts.
Despite thinner and seemingly cheaper silicone ear tips compared to the Nord Buds 2 we found that the earbuds are quite comfortable for long durations.

If you are a OnePlus user, the Nord Buds 2r work natively, without using any app but for non OnePlus users, there is the HeyMelody which ensures broad compatibility. The app itself is quite simple and straightforward.

It packs in all basic features you would require from the app itself like volume control, EQ settings and more. However, the lack of wear detection means users will have to manually play and pause the earbuds.

We also found the touch response a bit finicky, especially when the buds are a bit wet.

This lack of automation might be a minor inconvenience for some. It is important to understand that when you are looking at TWS earbuds at this price, expectations are not very high as far as the feature set is considered.

However, the Nord Buds 2r have surprised us pleasantly.

OnePlus Nord Buds 2r: Sound Quality

Coming now to the meat of the matter, the Nord Buds 2r are equipped with the same 12.4mm dynamic drivers as the Nord Buds 2, contributing to their ability to produce sound across a wide frequency range.

Coupled with Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity and SBC/AAC support, they provide stable and clear transmission, essential for a good listening experience.

During our testing process, we found that the Buds 2r had a sound signature that can be described as mellow in the mid-range frequencies, with a smooth timbre that avoids abrupt dips or peaks.

This contributes to a relaxed listening experience, making them suitable for a variety of music genres and spoken content. However, we perceived the highs as dull and lackluster, lacking the sparkle and clarity often desired in high-frequency sounds.

The bass response is boomy and prominent, pleasing listeners who prefer more robust low-end performance. It can give a sense of power to music genres like hip-hop and electronic dance music.

Through our listening experience, we can say that the Nord Buds 2r will be pleasant for casual users but may leave audiophiles wanting more, especially those who seek a more balanced and accurate sound representation.

The dullness in the sound can be called as a typical feature of budget wireless earbuds, and it stands out particularly when compared to wired earbuds in a similar or lower price range.

As for the microphone performance, we had no problems with the Nord Buds 2r thanks to its reasonably clear voice capture in quiet environments.

It is also noteworthy for its noise cancellation capabilities in noisy surroundings, cutting out background noise effectively.
However we did observe some fluctuation in voice clarity which was possibly due to the noise cancellation algorithm.

Battery performance is an essential factor for wireless earbuds, and the Nord Buds 2r offer a battery life of 8 hours of continuous playback. However in our testing this time stood at about 6 hours and 30 minutes of playtime.

The BIS listing shows two new phones under the Jio branding.
The model numbers of the upcoming JioPhones are JBV161W1 and JBV162W1 respectively.

Jio Phones Made In India

The listing was shared first by tipster Mukul Sharma in a tweet.
The listing suggests that the Jio phones are being manufactured in Noida for India.
The Jio Phone 5G was earlier spotted on BIS in December last year , and was being manufactured in India.

It is still not confirmed whether these two model numbers, JBV161W1 and JBV162W1, belong to a final variant of the Jio Phone 5G or are completely new devices.

The Jio Phone 5G leaked earlier is expected to launch by the end of this month and is rumoured to be the cheapest 5G phone in the country.

Jio Bharat 4G Feature Phone was launched last month. Jio Bharat phone is priced at Rs 999 in India. The 4G smart feature phone comes in two colour options: Red and Blue.

Earlier a prototype unit of the upcoming Jio Phone 5G was spotted on Twitter.
The images shown in the tweets suggested that the JioPhone 5G will have a plastic back, with dual cameras at the back.

The phone also had a 5G branding with a speed test result showing 5G connectivity on the phone.
It also suggested that the phone will come with Unisoc 5G or Dimensity 700 processor.
The phone will feature a 13MP primary camera, with a 2MP secondary camera.

According to the teaser shared by Xiaomi, the 14-inch display of Pad 6 Max is 62% bigger than the 11-inch display of its siblings – Pad 6 and Pad 6 Pro.
Xiaomi has not revealed the resolution, but leaks have confirmed that the display will feature a 144Hz refresh rate.

The teaser images also confirm dual cameras on the front and back of the Xiaomi Pad 6 Max, likely to be a camera + 3D ToF sensor setup. It’s clear that Xiaomi is targeting the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra with its upcoming launch.

The Xiaomi Pad 6 Max has also been confirmed to feature the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, the same as the Pad 6 Pro.

However, the Pad 6 Max will feature a humongous heat dissipation area of 15839mm² for enhanced thermal management while playing demanding games like Genshin Impact. As of now, there is no word on the RAM and Storage configuration of the tablet.

The Geekbench listing of the Xiaomi Pad 6 Max with model number 2307BRPDCC reveals that it features a 3.19GHz octa-core processor codenamed Taro.

This confirms that the device will indeed feature the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, which is the same one used in the Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro.

The tablet will come with a maximum of 12GB of RAM. When it comes to the software, this new tablet will feature Android 13-based MIUI 14 OS.
In the Geekbench test, the tablet scored 1752 points in the single-core test and 4618 points in the multi-core test.
