HIGHLIGHTS

* Xiaomi 14 series global and Chinese variants have popped up on the IMEI database.
* Xiaomi 14 has the model numbers 23127PN0CC and 23127PN0CG.
* The Xiaomi 14 Pro will carry model numbers 23116PN5BC and 23116PN5BG.

Xiaomi, last month, unveiled its flagship – the Xiaomi 13 Ultra smartphone in the Chinese market. The company is gearing up for the Xiaomi 13 Ultra European debut.

Ahead of the Xiaomi 13 Ultra European launch, Xiaomi’s upcoming flagship smartphone – the Xiaomi 14 series has been spotted on the IMEI database. Folks at GSMChina spotted two upcoming Xiaomi flagships – the Xiaomi 14 and the Xiaomi 14 Pro on the IMEI database.

The IMEI database listing doesn’t reveal the moniker of the handsets but it does reveal the model number of upcoming Xiaomi smartphones. The variants of the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro that are spotted on the IMEI database are for Chinese as well as global regions.

Xiaomi 14 series

The Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro will be the successors of the Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro and are expected to be unveiled by the end of 2023 in Xiaomi’s domestic market – China.

The certification listing suggests that the Xiaomi 14 Pro had model numbers 23116PN5BC (C represents Chinese variant) and 23116PN5BG.

Whereas, model numbers 23127PN0CC and 23127PN0CG (G represents global variant) correspond to vanilla Xiaomi 14. On the basis of initial digits – 2311 and 2312 of these model numbers, we can speculate the Xiaomi 14 series to make a debut sometime in November or December in the Chinese market.

The Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro are expected to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. Folks at GSMChina claim that the processor’s codename is pineapple. Qualcomm is yet to unveil Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC but going by a leak, it might make a debut by October 2023.

A few days back, noted Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station had revealed that the Xiaomi 14 Pro will be powered by a Qualcomm SM8650 processor.

The Xiaomi 14 Pro is tipped to feature a 5000mAh battery unit. It might feature support for 50W wireless charging. The Xiaomi 14 Pro is said to come in two variants – flat screen and curved screen. The Xiaomi 14 Pro flat screen variant might feature support for 90W fast charging.

Xiaomi 14 series

Whereas, the premium curved screen version might come with 120W fast charging support. Xiaomi will reportedly use WLG High-Lens sensors for Xiaomi 14 series in the optics department.

As of now, only this much has been leaked about the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro smartphones. We can expect Xiaomi to continue its collaboration with Leica and so the cameras on the Xiaomi 14 series might also be tuned by Leica.

We can also expect the upcoming Xiaomi flagship smartphones to pop up on other certification and benchmark websites in the coming days, which should eventually reveal more in terms of the specifications of the upcoming flagships.

Xiaomi 14 series smartphones are currently under work and the devices are expected to arrive in the market by late this year or early next year. Now updates reveal that the upcoming smartphones have made their appearance on the IMEI database.

Xiaomi 14 Series Listed on the IMEI Database

The upcoming Xiaomi 14 series is to include two smartphones – the Xiaomi 14 and the Xiaomi 14 Pro devices and apart from its launch in China, the smartphones are also expected to arrive in the global market as well.

The smartphones are expected to offer great performance and camera specs and from the design aspect are expected to be stylish and compact at the same time.

Now for its IMEI listing, the Xiaomi 14 has appeared on the database with model numbers 23127PN0CC and 23127PN0CG, and the Xiaomi 14 Pro has made its appearance with model numbers, 23116PN5BC and 23116PN5BG.

From its listing on the IMEI database, nothing particular about the two devices has been revealed apart from its model numbers.

Xiaomi 14 series

As mentioned, from the performance side, the two upcoming devices are to offer its users great performance and as per what is expected, the devices are supposedly considered to arrive equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset with codename “pineapple” and model number “SM8650”.

As per reports, the Xiaomi 14 series devices are also expected to support 4K video recording on its front-facing camera and this is exciting news for vloggers and video makers who rely mostly on the front camera for their content.

Great battery life and faster fast charging features are also expected on the two devices. The Xiaomi 14 smartphone might support an 80W fast charge feature while the Xiaomi 14 Pro device is likely to support a 120W fast charge feature.

For those of you who missed it, the Xiaomi 14 Pro smartphone is also now tipped to have flat and curved display variants.

Both the Xiaomi 14 and 14 Pro devices are expected to make their debut in China in the month of December or January and are likely to make their way to the global market after their debut.

Faqs

1) REDMI 12 SPOTTED ON IMEI AND FCC WEBSITES. Details?

Ans) Redmi is known for offering the best budget smartphones, especially targeting the mid-range smartphone market. Recently, the company has launched its affordable smartphone series. The Redmi 12C is one of them. The phone is currently available in the global market. Redmi has also released the Redmi A1 and A2 phones.

We are now hearing the noises of the Redmi 12 – a new budget smartphone that is ready to launch. The US IMEI and FCC websites have already listed the smartphone. Furthermore, the details of this smartphone are uncertain as there is no official announcement. However, we are able to get our hands on some key details about the phone.

The Redmi 12 Is Coming Soon…

Xiaomi is very confident about its next budget smartphone – the Redmi 12. The leaks suggest that the Chinese smartphone maker may soon launch it globally. The company has yet to confirm the release date and other key specifications. As the phone has already been listed in the IMEI database, we can inform you about the possible phone details. The listing shows the phone’s name and model number as 23053RN02L.

Another website, FCC, shows a slightly different version. It shows the phone with the model number 23053RN02Y. Either way, we are confident that the Redmi 12 will be released in the near future. The phone leaks highlight some key specifications, such as that the phone may feature 4G connectivity and MIUI 14. In addition, the listings show that the phone could come with Android 13.

This may not be the case, as Xiaomi has recently released the Android 12 update to its Redmi Note 12 Pro phone. Other details include support for 33W fast charging. The FCC website also lists the model number of the charging adapter as MDY-12-EA. We can also assume that the Redmi 12 will get a standard 5000 mAh battery.

2) Xiaomi 13T Pro appears on the IMEI database, know details

Ans) Xiaomi 13T Pro has been making the headlines for a long time now. In a recent development, the device has made its appearance IMEI database. The appearance of the smartphone has revealed the model number, along with possibly suggesting that the Xiaomi 13T Pro could make its debut in the international market soon. According to the IMEI database, the smartphone will carry model number 23078PND5G.

On the other hand, we can also see the Redmi K60 Pro carrying model number 23078RKD5C. The model number of the handsets suggests that both could be identified in a lot of aspects. This is not going to happen for the first time that Xiaomi is going to launch a single phone in different markets with different names. In the past, we have seen a lot of Redmi K series devices being rebranded as Poco phones in the global as well as the Indian market.

Furthermore, 2307 in the model number could be a hint that the device could make its entry in July 2023. It is being said that the Xiaomi 13T Pro will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9200 processor for high-octane performance.

The latest speculations regarding the chipset of the smartphone quash all other rumors regarding the inclusion of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. One thing we would like to say is that a snapdragon processor would have been a better option as compared to MediaTek Dimensity. All other details regarding the device are still under wraps. We are expecting to know more about the same as soon as the launch date approaches.

Faqs on Motorola Moto G Stylus 5G (2023)

1) Motorola Moto G Stylus 5G (2023) goes official with Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chip.Details?

Ans) Motorola announced its third generation Moto G Stylus 5G and it’s one of the first devices to launch with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset. The device retains the signature stylus which sits next to the charging port though it won’t offer any of the fancy Bluetooth or pressure sensitivity tricks found on the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra’s S Pen.

Moto G Stylus 5G (2023) is built around a 6.6-inch IPS LCD with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. There’s a tiny punch hole cutout for the 16MP front facing camera. This year’s Moto G Stylus gains a 50MP main camera around the back (f/1.88, 1.0 µm native pixels) alongside an 8MP ultrawide module that doubles as a macro cam replacing the need of a dedicated one.

The software department is handled Android 13 with Motorola’s MyUX interface on top. Motorola is promising one major Android update and up to three years of security updates. The device also gets a 5,000 mAh battery with 20W charging support. Other notable features include stereo speakers, a headphone jack and a microSD card slot for storage expansion.

Moto G Stylus 5G (2023) comes in Cosmic Black and Rose Champagne colors. Pricing for the 6/256GB trim in the US is set at $399. You’ll be able to pick up the Moto G Stylus 5G (2023) from Cricket Wireless starting June 2. The unlocked variant will be offered from June 16 via Motorola, Amazon and BestBuy.

2) What is Motorola Moto G Stylus (2023) Price & Specs?

Ans) Moto G Stylus 5G (2023) arrives with a minimalist design, featuring a curved back and flat display on the front. The panel gets a punch-hole cutout, which encloses the 16MP selfie camera. The 6.6-inch IPS LCD comes with an FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. You get the signature stylus next to the charging port. Under the hood, the smartphone is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1. It is in fact one of the first phones to feature this mid-range SoC.

For clicking pictures, the Moto G Stylus gets a 50MP main camera on the back with f/1.88, 1.0 µm native pixels alongside an 8MP ultrawide module that also functions as a macro camera. On the software front, it runs Android 13 with Motorola’s MyUX interface on top. The handset comes with a promise of one major Android update and up to three years of security updates.

The device is fueled by a 5,000 mAh battery with 20W charging support. It comes with stereo speakers, a headphone jack, and a microSD card slot.

Moto G Stylus 5G (2023) is offered in Cosmic Black and Rose Champagne colors. The 6GB + 256GB version is priced at $399 in the US. It can be purchased from Cricket Wireless starting June 2 or wait till June 16 to get the unlocked variant from Motorola, Amazon, and BestBuy.

3) How is Motorola Moto G Stylus 5G (2023): Design?

Ans) As the name would suggest, this year’s Moto G Stylus 5G shares a lot in common with its non-5G sibling. For the most part, the design only differs in size, being 0.1 inches bigger than the Moto G Stylus, totaling 6.6 inches. The colorways also differ on this model, offering your choice of Cosmic Black or Champagne. Other than that, you likely won’t be able to tell the two phones apart from each other.

While this year’s Moto G Stylus 5G may look a lot like its sibling, there’s a bigger difference between it and its predecessor. This year’s model is 0.2 inches smaller, which may make it fit more easily in your hand. Motorola also appears to have changed the camera setup. The new model only has two rear cameras this time around and, as such, also has a smaller camera island.

4) How are Motorola Moto G Stylus 5G (2023): Cameras?

Ans) In probably the biggest change from 2022, the new model features two rear cameras instead of three. It looks like Motorola chose to put the depth sensor on the chopping block in 2023. Now consumers will get a phone with just a main camera and an ultrawide lens.
For the main sensor, you can expect a 50MP camera, while the ultrawide offers 8MP with macro capabilities. This phone has about 56% larger pixels than the previous generation. And we can’t forget about the selfie camera, which comes in at a familiar 16MP.

Faqs on Motorola Razr Plus

1) What are the expected specifications of Motorola Razr Plus ?

Ans) According to Yadav, the smartphone’s specifications will be as follows:

* Display: 6.9-inch full-HD+ pOLED display

* Chipset: The phone will be powered by a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor

* RAM and Storage: 8GB RAM and 256GB storage

* Camera: 32MP + 8MP camera setup at the back and a 12MP + 13MP combo at the front for selfies.

* Other features include Android 13, NFC, and wireless charging.

To recall, past rumours have given us a good look at what the upcoming Motorola Razr 40 Ultra (branded as Razr Plus in the US) could offer. Just recently, leaked promo videos of the phone revealed the foldable device in all its glory.

2) MOTOROLA RAZR 40 ULTRA LEAKS IN ALL ITS GLORY: HERE’S EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW

Ans) Motorola Razr 40 Ultra Leaked in an Egyptian Site
Before its launch, the Motorola Razr 40 Ultra has been leaked on an Egyptian retail website. The listing, which is still live at the time of writing this article, includes new official images and a spec sheet of the device.

Design and Display
The Razr 40 Ultra follows the same design as other clamshell foldable, with a divided back. The lower half of the phone shows Motorola and Razr logos. Whereas the website also confirms its available color options: Glacier Blue, Viva Magenta, and Phantom Black. As with last year’s Razr 2022, the upper portion may be protected by Gorilla Glass 5.

Performance
The website listing also confirms that the Motorola Razr 40 Ultra will have an octa-core processor with a clock speed of 3.20 GHz. This processor is likely the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1, which is not the latest and most powerful mobile processor from Qualcomm. But it’s still a capable chipset even in 2023. The phone will also have 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

Others
Moreover, the rear cameras are listed as 32MP and 8MP. The listing also provides two specs for the selfie camera: 12MP and 13MP. However, since there is only one selfie camera cutout, it is probably best to not rely completely on these specs.

HIGHLIGHTS

1. Realme C53 will launch with a 5000mAh battery.
2. It is said to be the slimmest Realme smartphone to date.
3. The phone sports a tall 6.74-inch 90Hz display.
4. Realme C53 us the rebadged version of Narzo N53.

Realme is gearing up for the launch of the C53 as its new budget smartphone. The new Realme C-series smartphone will launch in Malaysia on June 6 and is likely to debut in other markets in the coming weeks. Realme has not confirmed any details about the phone’s India availability.

However, Indian customers are not missing out on the phone as the C53 is essentially a rebadged version of the Narzo N53, which was launched earlier this month in India. We say so as the official Realme Malaysia website has revealed the design and the key specifications of the phone.

The C53 has a flat frame and body. It will be launched in Malaysia in two colour options.

Realme today has announced the latest addition to its 2023 entry-level smartphone line-up with the all-new realme C53. Most interestingly, the company also revealed that the device will make its first debut in Malaysia next week on 6 June 2023, ahead of other markets around the world.

Apart from its design, a lot of details surrounding the realme C53, such as its specifications, are still kept under wraps.

Based on the provided promo image, the phone unmistakably shares an almost uncanny resemblance to current generation iPhones but with a textured finish on its rear panel, which the company dubs as “Shiny Champion”.

So far, there are only two colourways shown: Champion Gold and Mighty Black.
realme also revealed that its new entry-level smartphone will be the second device to come with the brand’s Dynamic Island-like Mini Capsule feature.

The first of which, as you may recall, is the realme C55 model that was released in Malaysia back in March this year. The company added that the feature currently comes with a battery status function, and would soon receive data usage and steps indicators via an over-the-air (OTA) update after the phone’s official launch.

Moreover, it also revealed that the Mini Capsule feature will be a standard for all of its C series devices that are released this year.

One thing we should point out is that the realme C53 seems like a rebranded Narzo N53 that was released in India earlier this month, given the fact that the two share a very similar design.

However, this might not be the case as the latter is believed to feature a water-drop notch, and does not support the Mini Capsule feature for obvious reasons.
Meanwhile, unofficial listings on numerous e-commerce sites suggest that the newer phone also packs different hardware than the Narzo N53, namely its display and chipset.

According to Smartprix, the realme C53 is equipped with a 6.72-inch IPS display with a punch-hole cutout, 1080 x 2400 pixel resolution, 90 Hz refresh rate, 180 Hz touch sampling rate, and 550 nit brightness.

It is also claimed that the phone comes with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a MediaTek Helio G85 chipset, 6 GB of RAM (expandable up to 12GB via virtual memory), 128GB of storage, and a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support via USB-C.

Imaging-wise, the new entry-level smartphone is said to feature a 50MP primary and a 2MP depth sensor, while the third module on its iPhone-like arrangement actually houses a flash unit. In front, found within the display’s punch-hole cutout is believed to be an 8MP selfie camera.

Let’s take a look at the Realme C53 specifications, features and other details revealed ahead of the launch.

Realme C53: Specifications and Features Revealed

The Realme C53 will be one of the most affordable smartphones from the company. The device will debut on June 6 in Malaysia. Ahead of the launch, Realme has listed the phone’s key specs and features on its official website.

The listing confirms that the C53 will sport a waterdrop notch at the top of the display. The chin bezel is quite thick compared to the rest of the bezels around the screen.

Despite the bezels and the waterdrop notch, the phone offers a good 90.3 per cent screen-to-body ratio.

On the back, the phone has a square-shaped camera module with three circular cutouts. There is a dual-camera setup on the back and an LED flash module. The power and volume buttons are located on the right edge of the phone. One of the teaser images confirms that the C53 has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

In addition to the design, the website also reveals the key specs and features of the phone. The C53 is claimed to offer an all-day battery.

Realme claims that the phone will have “plenty of power left at the end of the day” even after consuming content or playing games. The phone will also have up to 12GB of RAM, which will be a combination of physical and virtual RAM.
In addition to this, there will be up to 128GB of internal storage.

The C53 is also the company’s slimmest phone to date, which is the same as the Narzo N53. It measures 7.49mm and continues to pack a 5000mAh battery. Also, the company revealed that the phone will launch in Champion Gold and Mighty Black colour options.

2018 has already become the highest-earning Malayalam movie globally with a whopping Rs 160 crore in global ticket sales. To cash in on the momentum, the filmmakers also released the movie last week in multiple languages across the country.

However, the film’s box office potential may not be fully realized due to contractual obligations with the streaming platform. Reports suggest that the producers had initially considered postponing the digital release of the film to a later date.

In response, the streaming platform expressed willingness to negotiate the terms but requested a re-evaluation of the selling price. Apparently, the producers were not willing to compromise on the previously agreed-upon price and opted to proceed with the early release date.

The producers clearly underestimated the potential of 2018, inspired by the real-life events in Kerala. The movie is on a record-setting spree since its release.

It has already raked in over Rs 80 crore in Kerala alone. If the movie continues its bullish run it could also become the first movie to cross the Rs 100 mark at the Kerala box office.

The all-time biggest blockbuster of Malayalam cinema, 2018 will be available to stream on SonyLIV from June 7. Even as the film is doing well in theatres, the streaming platform has decided to release it.

Though it is happy news for people who are not able to catch the movie on the big screen, fans of 2018 are a bit disappointed with the OTT release.

On Reddit, a user wrote, “Very disappointed, it’s too soon and should’ve been postponed…I had a big wish that the movie could’ve got a final maximum gross of 100 crore, from Kerala. At this rate, the maximum gross will be 90 crores.”

Another wrote, “Why so fast? BO is still strong! Also, they just released in other languages. At least give it time to catch up with word of mouth or something. Now all will be waiting for OTT!”

Directed by Jude Anthany Joseph, the film is based on the 2018 Kerala floods that led to the loss of lives and a huge loss of property. It is currently the biggest hit in the history of Malayalam cinema earning more than Rs 160 crore from across the world.

Talking about the OTT release of 2018, Joseph said, “2018: Everyone is a Hero is a homage to the collective experience of the people of Kerala during the 2018 floods and to be able to bring it to the screen and see the kind of love it has been receiving has been a truly fulfilling experience. Through this film, we aimed to commemorate the heroism and courage shown by every individual during the catastrophe. With the film now set to stream on SonyLIV, more and more people get to witness our story and the extraordinary spirit of humanity that helped the state triumph.”

The film stars Tovino Thomas, Kunchako Boban, Asif Ali, Vineeth Sreenivasan, Aparna Balamurali, Kalaiyarasan, Indrans, Sudheesh, Aju Varghese, Thanvi Ram, and Gauthami Nair.

It is the second Tovino project, following the superhero film “Minnal Murali” from 2021, to garner widespread notice and acclaim from the public. Tovino Thomas portrays a young guy who, using a false medical certificate, escapes the Indian Army and finds redemption during the floods.

* WhatsApp users are battling a new kind of bug that’s spreading through an innocuous link sent to them.
* The link is “wa.me/settings,” which is intended to take users to the settings page of WhatsApp.
* The bug is affecting only Android users, and iOS users are safe.

WhatsApp is the most popular and most used instant messaging platform globally. The app has more than 2 billion active users globally and more than 100 billion messages sent every day.

WhatsApp is rolling out new features almost daily to make the platform bigger and better for its users. However, with a platform of this magnitude, bugs and issues are bound to crop up from time to time.

The latest bug is caused by a simple “wa.me/settings” link, which causes the app to enter a crash loop on Android devices.

Here’s everything you need to know about the latest WhatsApp bug.

WhatsApp Users on Android Are Experiencing Crash Loop Due to a Simple Link

WhatsApp Crash

The new WhatsApp bug was first reported by the Twitter user @BruteBee two days ago. It has since blown up all over social media, with many users and publications reporting it as accurate.

Reportedly, sending the shortened link for the native WhatsApp settings page – “wa.me/settingsto someone will cause their WhatsApp app to enter a crash loop. The issue happens only for Android users, and iOS users are safe from the bug.

The link is meant to redirect users to the WhatsApp settings page. Brute Bee explained that the issue is happening due to IndexOutOfBoundsException occurring whenever someone clicks the link. It suggests that the user is trying to access an empty element.

The bug affects regular and WhatsApp Business users on Android 12 and 13. The crash loop only happens when clicking on the chat containing the link.

How to Fix WhatsApp Crash Loop Issue?

WhatsApp Crash

You can simply not open the chat that has the URL to avoid the crash loop. But if it’s an important conversation, users can try a simple workaround involving the WhatsApp web.

8 Easy Ways To Fix “WhatsApp Keeps Crashing” On Android Phones

WhatsApp Crash

WhatsApp keeps stopping” on Android is one of the most frustrating issues you can ever experience on your phone. Not because other apps don’t crash, too, but WhatsApp is just that Instant Messaging app that most people rely on to connect with friends and family.

And when the WhatsApp “crashing” or “stopping” issue is now rampant on your Android phone, there are a couple of ways to get over it.

Try the clear solutions below to fix WhatsApp not working on your phone. Assuredly, you’d be able to connect with your friends again after following the solutions!

Method 1. Restart WhatsApp First

One first thing you should do when WhatsApp keeps crashing on your Android phone is to restart it. Hopefully, it’s just a minimal hiccup that you can fix by restarting WhatsApp. All you need is just to Force stop WhatsApp and relaunch it. Here’s how to do so:

* Launch Settings on your Android phone.
* Find and select Apps & Notifications.
* Select Apps info to view all apps (Some devices may state it as Manage apps; See all apps, etc.)
* Now, locate and click WhatsApp on the app list.
* Finally, tap on Force stop to close WhatsApp. Relaunch it to see if the problem is fixed.

Method 2. Now Restart Your Phone

If WhatsApp keeps closing, even after restarting it, the next thing you should do is restart your phone itself. First, let’s ask you, “When last did you restart your phone?” Restarting your phone has been trusted for ages for fixing most software and hardware-related issues.

And now that your WhatsApp keeps crashing on Android, Restarting your phone could fix it.

Here are two ways to restart your phone if you’re unaware.

* Hold down the Power key on your phone, and tap on Restart. Some phones may require you to swipe to restart. You’ll see the guidelines there, anyway.
* To force restart your phone, hold down the Power key for about 8 to 10 seconds until you see the Android logo.
* Try launching WhatsApp after rebooting your phone to see if it works.

Meanwhile, always make time to restart your phone regularly.

Method 3. Update both WhatsApp and Your Phone

WhatsApp is working on two upgrades for Android and iPhone: here's what is new | Express.co.uk

App and system updates take a big role in maintaining your user experience on Android, and it can be the only thing you need to do when WhatsApp keeps stopping on your phone.
Though a sheer number of people don’t fancy apps and system updates, especially when they don’t notice any visual changes after the update.

But we can assure you that updates have a lot to do with just introducing new features. App developers and OEMs push out updates periodically to fix software bugs, enhance security, improve performance, and others.

So, now that your WhatsApp keeps closing, you need to check for WhatsApp updates from the Play Store and update your phone from the system settings. Follow the steps below to do so.

Update WhatsApp from the Play Store:

* Open your app drawer and launch the Play Store.
* Tap the Search bar on the Play Store interface and search for WhatsApp.
* Tap WhatsApp Messenger from the search results. If you see “Update” under it, that means you have a pending update.
* Tap the Update button and wait for a few seconds to install the update.
After installing the update, simply Force stops WhatsApp or Restart your phone to enforce the update. Now, launch WhatsApp to see if it works properly.
Update your phone from the Settings:
* Launch the Settings app on your phone.
* Scroll to the bottom and select System.
* Tap System Updates and follow the on-screen guidelines to check for updates. Install the update on availability and restart your phone.

Method 4. Erase WhatsApp Cache Data

How to Clear Your WhatsApp Cache

Every app on Android uses the cache system to store some data temporarily, mainly to enhance the app and make it use fewer resources.

But the cache could also cause WhatsApp to keep stopping when it’s corrupted or unneeded. The surest way to fix that is clearing the WhatsApp cache data on your phone, by following the simple steps below.

* Launch Settings on your Android phone.
* Scroll down a bit and select Apps & Notifications.
* Select Apps info to view all apps; some devices may state it as Manage apps; See all apps, etc.
* Find and select WhatsApp on the app list.
* Now, click on Storage & Cache.
* Finally, tap on Clear Cache.

Note: Do not tap Clear Storage now, so you don’t lose your WhatsApp chat history!

Method 5. Free Up Your Phone’s Storage Space

Keeping your phone in excellent condition requires you to have enough free storage space on your Android phone. You might not be able to access certain functions if your phone is running out of storage.

And to ensure that’s not why WhatsApp keeps stopping, go to Settings > Storage to check your phone storage. If you have less than 1GB of free storage, we recommend you should free up your storage space.

You can delete unnecessary apps, watching videos, junk files, etc. Just make sure the storage is free.

Method 6. Reset app preferences

What does "Reset App Preferences" mean for an average Android user and how to do it? - HardReset.info

Resetting app preferences is another way to fix the WhatsApp keeps stopping on your Android phone. Doing this will restore the default settings for your apps, but you won’t lose any data.

It can be helpful if you have tampered with some settings earlier that is causing the problem. Follow the steps below to reset app preferences on your phone.

* Launch the Settings app on your phone and scroll to the bottom
* Select System.
* Click on Reset options.
* Carefully tap Reset app preferences and confirm the action.

Now restart your phone and try using WhatsApp again. If it still doesn’t work, try the last solution below.

Method 7. Reinstall WhatsApp on Your Phone

Trying all the solutions above means you’ve tried enough to fix the issue, but that doesn’t mean you can’t use WhatsApp again if it keeps crashing.

One last solution you need to try deleting and installing WhatsApp again. Perhaps WhatsApp got corrupted on your phone, and the only way out is to start afresh. The process will clear WhatsApp data, but you’ll be able to restore your chats if you do a backup.

So, before you uninstall WhatsApp on your phone, ensure you back up your chats by following these steps and learn more.

* Open WhatsApp on your Android phone.
* On the interface, click the 3-dot button on the top-right and select Settings.
* Click on Chats, followed by Chat Backup.
* Tap on the green Back up button to create a local backup. You don’t need to worry about cloud backup for now. You won’t lose your data after creating a local backup.

Now, follow the steps below to reinstall WhatsApp after backing up your Chats.

* Launch Play Store on your phone and search for WhatsApp.
* On the WhatsApp download interface on Play Store, tap the Uninstall button to delete WhatsApp.
* Wait for a few seconds, then tap Install to reinstall WhatsApp.

Launch WhatsApp after the reinstallation process and follow the on-screen guidelines to set up your WhatsApp.

You’ll receive a prompt to restore a local backup; tap on Restore to ensure you don’t lose your data. WhatsApp should function normally now if nothing is wrong with your phone itself.

WhatsApp Crash

Faqs

1) Don’t type this very normal link into WhatsApp on Android, it will crash loop.Details?

Ans) If you send someone a shortened URL, it will cause a WhatsApp crash loop on Android.
* The URL is “wa.me/settings,” which would normally take you to the WhatsApp settings page.
* The crash loop will happen every time you open up the affected chat. Deleting that message is the only fix for now.

Since WhatsApp is the most popular messaging service globally, one can only imagine the number of URLs sent and received daily on the platform. One URL, though, appears to be wreaking havoc on the Android version of WhatsApp.

As first spotted by Brute Bee on Twitter and verified by us sending the URL “wa.me/settings” causes a WhatsApp crash loop. It only appears to be a problem on the Android version of the app but does appear to affect both the consumer and business versions. The device we tested this on was running version 2.23.10.77, although other versions might also be affected.

Normally, “wa.me/settings” would link to WhatsApp’s settings. However, with this bug, it crashes the app completely. When it restarts, things work normally, but if you try to access the chat again, it will initiate the crash loop. This can be replicated over and over again. Thankfully, no other chats are affected, so you can avoid the crash loop by simply not opening that particular chat again.

To fix the problem, the easiest workaround is to use WhatsApp on the web — which is not affected by the bug — and delete the message with the URL. This will return things back to normal.

Hopefully, Meta will fix this WhatsApp crash loop soon. In the meantime, the previously mentioned workaround is your best fix if you find yourself affected.

3) What are the things to Keep in your mind about the WhatsApp bug?

Ans) The bug is not limited to a specific type of Android device. It has been reported on devices from a variety of manufacturers, including Samsung, Google, and Xiaomi.
The bug does not appear to affect all users. Some users have reported that they have been able to receive messages containing the string text “wa.me/settings” without any problems.

The bug is not malicious. It does not appear to be designed to steal data or harm users’ devices.
Even though the bug is not malicious, it can still be a nuisance. If you are affected by the bug, you may want to try one of the workarounds mentioned above to prevent WhatsApp from crashing.

The leaked information aligns with earlier rumours, confirming the presence of a remarkable 5x periscope lens, a powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, and a fast 50W wireless charging capability.

However, the latest leak unveils an intriguing development: Xiaomi may also be working on an Explorer edition concept folding phone, potentially unveiling it alongside the highly anticipated Mix Fold3.

Although concrete details about this concept phone are scarce at the moment, Xiaomi enthusiasts are eagerly anticipating more information. With an expected launch date in August, Xiaomi fans won’t have to wait much longer to witness the groundbreaking Mix Fold3 in action.

Besides, there is no information about the upcoming foldable smartphone made available by the tipster.

Nevertheless, we can expect more leaks and possible renders coming on the way as we move closer to the launch.
It’s imperative to note that the company is yet to reveal anything officially, and it is highly recommended to take this information with a pinch of salt and wait for the official launch.

Xiaomi has kicked off the first half of the year with an exhilarating release—the Xiaomi 13 Ultra smartphone. Anticipation builds as the device is set to hit international markets, with leaked information revealing its European pricing.

Xiaomi MIX Fold 3

Looking ahead to the second half of the year, Xiaomi has captivating plans in store with the upcoming launch of the Xiaomi Mix Fold 3—a successor to the popular MIX Fold 2. This foldable device is expected to introduce a range of exciting new features.

Fresh details about the highly anticipated Xiaomi MIX Fold 3 have surfaced thanks to a recent Weibo post by popular tipster Digital Chat Station. The upcoming foldable device is expected to stand out with its thin and lightweight design, setting it apart as a noteworthy feature.

Notably, DCS disclosed that the MIX Fold 3 will introduce an in-screen camera specifically for the internal display, a departure from its predecessors, the original MIX Fold and MIX Fold 2.

Xiaomi MIX Fold 3

Moreover, DCS revealed that the MIX Fold 3 will boast a periscope telephoto camera capable of 5x optical zoom, enhancing its photography capabilities. Additionally, the device is said to support 50W wireless charging, promising efficient power replenishment.

Notably, it is rumored to offer flexibility in terms of angles at which the device can be opened. Let’s look at the other details known so far about the smartphone.

Design and Display

Xiaomi MIX Fold 3

The Xiaomi MIX Fold 3 has a foldable OLED display that measures 8.01 inches when unfolded. The screen has a resolution of 1860 x 2480 pixels and a 20:9 aspect ratio. When folded, the phone has a glass front and a plastic back, with a Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

The phone is available in black and ceramic colors, with a ceramic back and an aluminium frame. As reported by PhoneAqua, the phone weighs 317g when the glass front is folded and 262g when unfolded.

Placing the front camera under the display is one of the major talking points of this device. It is not easy to achieve because the camera needs to receive enough light for a decent output.
Since the screen is transparent, it is a big issue. For this reason, under display camera is not so popular even though a few mobile phones use it.

Performance

Xiaomi MIX Fold 3

The Xiaomi MIX Fold 3 is expected to come with Android 11 OS and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. The phone is rumored to have up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage.

Price and Release Date

Xiaomi MIX Fold 3

The Xiaomi MIX Fold 3 is expected to be released in September 2023. The price of the phone is expected to start at $2500 to $2600.

However, there are other sources that suggest a lower price range of $1500 to $1600. The actual price of the phone will be confirmed closer to the release date.

Xiaomi MIX Fold 3 Vs Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3

Xiaomi MIX Fold 3

The Xiaomi MIX Fold 3 is expected to compete with the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3. The Xiaomi phone is rumoured to have a larger battery, more RAM, and a periscope camera, which are features that the Samsung phone does not have.

However, the Samsung phone has a more established brand name and a larger market share. The actual comparison between the two phones will have to wait until the Xiaomi MIX Fold 3 is released.

Final Words

Xiaomi MIX Fold 3

The Xiaomi MIX Fold 3 is an exciting addition to the foldable phone market. With its innovative design and cutting-edge technology, the phone is expected to give the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 a run for its money.

HIGHLIGHTS

* Apple will launch the upcoming iPhones in September 2023.
* The upcoming iPhones are tipped to feature support for Qi2 wireless charging standard.
* The vanilla models are also tipped to feature a new 48MP primary camera sensor.
* A new leak suggests the new crop of iPhones could adopt the recently announced Qi2 wireless charging
* Past rumours have talked about the inclusion of a USB-C port, among other things, for the iPhone 15 series
* Much like in the years past, Apple could unveil the new iPhone 15 models in September

Apple is gearing up for the launch of the upcoming iPhone 15 series smartphones. The series would include iPhone 15, 15 Plus, 15 Pro, and 15 Pro Max. The launch of these smartphones is scheduled for September.

Ahead of the launch, the CAD renders of the iPhone 16 Pro series smartphones were leaked. These smartphones will launch in September 2024, and the camera design and specifications were also tipped recently.

iPhone 15

Many reports regarding the upcoming 15 series smartphones revealed the design, CAD renders, and more. A new report from ChargerLab has revealed the wireless charging support of vanilla 15.

We’re currently looking forward to Apple’s annual iPhone refresh — the iPhone 15 — likely to be revealed in September. Leaks and rumours have provided valuable insight into the direction Apple is taking with its upcoming smartphone lineup.

A report originating from ChargerLab now suggests that the Cupertino-based electronics giant will offer the Qi2 wireless charging standard on the next-gen iPhones, unlocking 15W wireless charging for non-MagSafe chargers.

We’re taking this revelation with a grain of salt, given that the WPC (Wireless Power Consortium) took the wraps off the latest Qi2 charging standard only recently at CES 2023.

iPhone 15

As iPhone users are likely aware already, the existing crop of iPhones, such as the iPhone 14, only supports 15W wireless charging on MagSafe-supported accessories. The phones can only charge at 7.5W while using a standard third-party Qi wireless charger.

If true, this move would signal a drastic shift in how Apple handles third-party charging accessories. The company usually likes to hold a firm grip on third-party accessories, restricting users to either buying an expensive MFi or Apple-certified product or facing the risk of not being able to use the device to its full potential.

A potential game-changer for third-party wireless chargers?

iPhone 15

With the rumoured inclusion of the Qi2 wireless charging standard on the iPhone 15, a wide range of manufacturers would be able to sell supported chargers at a fraction of the MagSafe accessory’s price.

As we mentioned above, it’s too early to jump to conclusions since Apple usually isn’t the quickest to launch a newly released tech. But we’re hopeful to see this on board, considering the fact that other smartphone makers have long breached the 15W wireless charging barrier.

iPhone 15

Other features like Dynamic Island and a USB-C port for charging and data transfer are also expected to be on board the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus models this year.

Meanwhile, the iPhone 15 Pro Max’s rear camera setup could feature a new periscope lens, pushing the device’s camera credentials even further while slightly tweaking the arrangement of the sensors.

Apple iPhone 15 Tipped Features and Specifications

iPhone 15

The report reveals that Apple will support Qi2 wireless charging standards on the upcoming smartphone. Industry sources revealed the information regarding the support to ChargerLab.

The support for Qi2 wireless charging standard means that the phone will support 15W wireless charging on non-Magsafe chargers. IPhone 14 series smartphones only support 7.5W wireless charging on non-Magsafe chargers.

The previous limitation on wireless charging speed is similar to the restriction of non-MFi-certified products. MFi is a certification introduced by Apple where manufacturers are required to obtain a license to manufacture accessories for Apple.

iPhone 15

The introduction of support for the Qi2 standard will bring down the cost of wireless chargers to one-third of Magsafe chargers. The wireless charging manufacturers wouldn’t be required to obtain MFi certification, which will help them to keep the costs low.

The Qi2 standard already supports wireless charging in iPhones. An official announcement from Apple is required to know the exact charging speed of Qi2 wireless chargers. Recently, a report revealed that Apple would upgrade the primary rear camera sensor on the iPhone 15 and 15 Plus smartphones.

Apple used a 12MP sensor with the vanilla models since the launch of the iPhone 6S. The upcoming vanilla models will feature a 48MP sensor introduced with iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max.

iPhone 15

The upcoming smartphones would also be eligible for 48MP ProRAW mode. The devices are also tipped to feature a three-stacked sensor to improve image quality. A report has revealed that the vanilla models won’t feature support for 120Hz ProMotion display.

However, Apple will ditch the traditional notch with a Dynamic Island seen on the iPhone 14 Pro series smartphones. The display panel of the vanilla 15 was leaked recently, revealing the Dynamic Island.

The upcoming iPhones would be the first to sport a USB Type-C port instead of the traditional lightning port. Apple is expected to announce iOS 17 at the WWDC 2023, scheduled for June 5. The upcoming iOS 17 is expected to bring many new features to iPhones.

iPhone 15

Another report revealed that Tata Group would also manufacture the iPhone 15 and 15 Plus models in India. The company recently acquired Wistron’s factory, which is planning to exit from the Indian market.

iPhone 15 to Support 15W Wireless Fast Charging Using Third-Party Chargers That Aren’t MagSafe Certified

Apple’s upcoming iPhone 15 models will support 15W wireless fast charging even when using third-party chargers that are not MagSafe certified, claims a new rumor coming out of China.

iPhone 15

Apple’s official MagSafe magnetic wireless charger or a third-party magnetic charger with official MFM (Made for MagSafe) certification are required to achieve 15W wireless fast charging on the iPhone 12, iPhone 13, and iPhone 14. If using a standard Qi-certified wireless charger, these models top out at 7.5W.

However, according to a Weibo post picked up by news aggregator account “yeux1122” on the Korean Naver blog, the iPhone 15 series will be capable of open 15W wireless magnetic charging using non-MFM certified chargers, which are usually more affordable alternatives to those with Apple certification.

The rumor has not yet been verified as coming from a reliable source, but the claim does make sense given that Apple is contributing to a new version of the Qi open standard that works much like MagSafe.

iPhone 15

Announced in January 2023 by the Wireless Power Consortium (WPC), the next-generation Qi2 wireless standard incorporates a Magnetic Power Profile, which means that devices that adopt Qi2 in the future will use the same magnetic technology used in ‌MagSafe‌ devices created for the iPhone 12 and later.

The WPC says that the Magnetic Power Profile in Qi2 will make sure that phones and other battery-powered mobile products are perfectly aligned with chargers for improved energy efficiency and faster charging‌.

Qi2 smartphones and chargers are expected to be available starting in the 2023 holiday season.

Apple’s decision to make MagSafe technology available to all devices that support Qi2 wireless charging would seem in direct contrast to its position on USB-C.

iPhone 15

The iPhone 15 is expected to feature a USB-C port instead of Lightning, which will allow it to comply with new regulations implemented in Europe.

But according to rumors, iPhone 15 models will only officially support USB-C accessories certified by the Apple Made for iPhone (MFi) program, which could be used to limit features like fast charging and high-speed data transfers to Apple-approved accessories.
Apple’s iPhone 15 series is expected to be announced during the usual September timeframe.

Faqs

1) Rumor: Apple’s Upcoming iPhone 15 to Support 15W Fast Charging With Non MagSafe Wireless Chargers.Details?

Ans) A new rumor claims Apple will allow its iPhone 15 lineup to support 15W fast charging with non-MagSafe wireless chargers. Currently, only Apple-approved wireless chargers can support 15W fast charging, while Qi chargers have been limited to a maximum of 7.5W.

Apple’s MagSafe charging system has been capable of 15W wireless charging ever since it first debuted alongside the iPhone 12 lineup. To enable fast charging, Apple requires users to use its own power adapter or a compatible third-party USB-C power adapter that supports USB Power Delivery (USB-PD).”

Now comes a rumor from leaker “yeux1122” saying that the company is dropping its requirement for those “comparable” adapters to be approved by Apple.

“The Apple iPhone 15 series is said to be capable of open 15W wireless fast charging even if it is not a certified wireless charger,” writes the leaker in a blog post. The post includes a screenshot showing the news in Chinese. A machine translation says the Chinese source says the news comes from “charging head network,” presumably the manufacturing supply chain.

If the rumor is correct, the change may be related to the Qi2 charging standard. (A photo on the post page shows a small photo of a Qi2 wireless charging pad.) Also, in January, the Wireless Power Consortium (WPC) announced that its next-generation Qi charging technology will incorporate Apple’s MagSafe magnetic charging functionality.

Qi2 is a new unified wireless charging standard that incorporates a Magnetic Power Profile, which means that devices that adopt Qi2 in the future will use the same ‌MagSafe‌ magnetic technology that is available in ‌Apple’s MagSafe‌ devices, such as the iPhone 12 and later.

The WPC says that the Magnetic Power Profile in Qi2 will make sure that phones and other battery-powered mobile products are perfectly aligned with charging devices providing energy efficiency and faster charging. Qi2 will allow for new accessories that would not be chargeable using existing flat surface-to-flat surface devices.

Qi2 will enable faster charging for some devices. It will also pave the way for significant future increases in wireless charging speeds that are safe, and energy-efficient and won’t shorten battery life or damage a user’s phone.

The Qi2 standard will debut later this year, and it will replace the current Qi standard. Qi2 smartphones and chargers are expected to debut during the 2023 holiday season.

Wireless charger makers (and perhaps consumers) will benefit financially from getting Qi2 certification rather than a MagSafe certification through Apple’s MFi (Made for iPhone) program. That’s because the required hardware for MFi certification runs about $16 per charger.

2) Apple iPhone 15 May Support 15W Wireless Fast Charging Without MagSafe: Report

Ans) Apple is reportedly preparing for the release of its highly anticipated iPhone 15 series in September 2023. Recent rumors originating from China suggest that the upcoming iPhone 15 models will offer support for 15W wireless fast charging, eliminating the need for MagSafe-certified chargers.

This means that users will be able to achieve faster wireless charging speeds using third-party chargers that lack official MagSafe certification. According to MacRumors, vurrently, iPhone 12, iPhone 13, and iPhone 14 models can only achieve 15W wireless fast charging with Apple’s official MagSafe charger or third-party chargers carrying the official MFM (Made for MagSafe) certification.

When using standard Qi-certified wireless chargers, these models are limited to a maximum charging speed of 7.5W. The rumor suggests that the iPhone 15 series will be capable of reaching 15W wireless magnetic charging using non-MFM certified chargers, which are typically more affordable alternatives to those with Apple’s official certification.

Although the rumor’s source has not been verified, the claim aligns with Apple’s involvement in the development of the next-generation Qi2 wireless standard, the report said.

The Qi2 wireless standard, announced by the Wireless Power Consortium in January 2023, incorporates a Magnetic Power Profile similar to MagSafe. This new standard ensures better alignment between devices and chargers, leading to improved energy efficiency and faster charging speeds. Qi2 smartphones and chargers are expected to be available starting from the 2023 holiday season.

Apple’s potential decision to extend MagSafe-like functionality to all devices supporting Qi2 wireless charging appears to be in contrast to its stance on USB-C.

The iPhone 15 is said to feature a USB-C port, aligning with new regulations in Europe. However, these details have yet to be confirmed officially, MacRumors reported.

Meanwhile, Apple is gearing up to unveil iOS 17 at the upcoming Worldwide Developers Conference, starting with the keynote event on June 5, 2023. One of the notable features expected in iOS 17 is an updated Lock Screen interface that transforms the iPhone into a “smart-home display.”
