OnePlus, the global technology brand, today shed new light on the OnePlus Nord 3 5G ahead of its global launch on 5 July 2023, revealing that its new midrange phone will deliver a decidedly top-of-the-range photography experience.
OnePlus Nord 3 5G will use a combination of the best photography hardware and OnePlus-developed algorithms to give its users pretty much everything they could ask for in their photos.
The OnePlus Nord 3 5G’s main camera sensor is the Sony IMX890, the same 50 megapixel sensor used in this year’s smash hit flagship phone the OnePlus 11 5G, and comes equipped with the same optical image stabilization technology too.
It will also feature OnePlus’s proprietary photography algorithms – also seen on OnePlus 11 – which will make sure OnePlus Nord 3 5G takes pleasing photos every time, no matter the conditions.
“OnePlus Nord 3 5G may be our newest mid-range phone, but that doesn’t mean it will give a mid-range photography experience,” said OnePlus COO and President Kinder Liu, commenting on his Twitter feed.

OnePlus has revealed few details about the primary camera of OnePlus Nord 3 5G ahead of its global launch on 5 July 2023.
According to OnePlus, the OnePlus Nord 3 5G will use a combination of the best photography hardware and OnePlus-developed algorithms.
The OnePlus Nord 3 5G’s main camera sensor will be the Sony IMX890, the same 50 megapixel sensor used in this year’s flagship phone the OnePlus 11 5G, and comes equipped with the same optical image stabilization technology too.

The company just recently confirmed it in a blog post and now the device is listed on Amazon with the teaser, saying the 5G phone is coming soon. The listing doesn’t reveal much about the OnePlus phone, apart from a few things.
The OnePlus Nord 3 is confirmed to retain the company’s signature alert slider feature, a familiar attribute found on select OnePlus devices.
It will have a boxy design and rounded corners.The handset will be available in a light green colour, according to the teaser.
The company is claiming that the upcoming OnePlus Nord phone will offer users “smooth” and “fast” performance.
OnePlus Nord 3 Camera, Storage Configuration Tipped
The global variant of the upcoming OnePlus Nord 3 will include a 50MP Sony IMX890 sensor for the main camera and optical image stabilisation (OIS), as per the promotional materials that tipster Ishan Agarwal has obtained.
Chinese smartphone maker has already employed this flagship-level camera sensor in recently launched products like the OnePlus 11 and the OnePlus 11R.
Meanwhile, the Chinese variant of the smartphone will feature a 64MP main camera, and there will be no OIS.
The tipster has also revealed that the OnePlus Nord 3 will offer the RAM-Vita (virtual RAM) capability and contain up to 16GB of RAM in India, similar to what another tipster recently stated about the upcoming phone.
OnePlus Nord 3 Price (Expected)
A recent report said that the upcoming OnePlus Nord 3 will be priced at Rs 32,999 for the 8GB+128GB storage variant and Rs 36,999 for the 16GB+256GB model.
But we will know the official price on July 5th, when the company will unveil the OnePlus Nord 3 alongside other much-anticipated onePlus products.
OnePlus Nord 3 Design
The leaked renders show that the OnePlus Nord 3 will have a punch-hole display on the front. On the back, the device will feature dual LED flash units and three cameras housed inside dual camera rings.
Its top edge has a microphone, an IR blaster, and a speaker, and its opposite features a SIM slot, a microphone, a USB-C port, and a speaker.
The left side of the phone features a volume rocker, whereas its right edge is equipped with an alert slider and a power key.

The OnePlus Nord 3 is listed on the Geekbench database with model number CPH2493 that belongs to the European variant of the device.
It has a motherboard codenamed k6983v1_64 and the chipset comprises four cores clocked at 1.80GHz, three cores at 2.85GHz, and a primary core ticking at 3.05GHz.
This corresponds to MediaTek’s Dimensity 9000 SoC.
The benchmark database reveals 16GB RAM on the Nord 3 hinting that it will be the first Nord phone to come with huge RAM.
The upcoming offering will run on Android 13 OS out of the box.
In the Geekbench’s single-core and multi-core test results, the OnePlus Nord 3 scores 1,153 and 3,180 points respectively.
