Xiaomi India has shared a tweet confirming that it is ready to launch new Smart TV X Series models in the country.

The tagline for the new release is “Big is back” and everything that has been teased so far is around being “big”. The launch event will take place on August 1 which is just a week away.

The official website of Xiaomi India even has a dedicated teaser page for the upcoming Smart TV X Series. It is teasing a “big and bold design” with a teaser image showing minimal bezels on the top and sides.

It is unknown if the bottom bezel will also be slim or if it will be on the larger side like we usually see on TVs.

The page is further touting superior display and entertainment along with audio experience. It says “smooth experience” which could either be a hint towards a high refresh rate or simply the software experience.

Xiaomi India has teased a big channel selection with the new series. It means users will have access to a large catalogue of live TV channels.

This seems to be a hint towards the company’s PatchWall service which boasts over 300 live TV channels spread across more than 16 regional languages.

These TVs offer 4K Ultra HD resolution, premium metal bezel-less design, Dolby Vision, Dolby Audio, DTS-HD, DTS Virtual X, and Android TV 10.

We can expect the upcoming series to offer similar features and improvements in some of the capabilities.
