The smartphone market is becoming more and more competitive, and it appears that one of the market leaders has raised the stakes once again. The recent leaked images of the new OnePlus 11 showcase that the device will have a ceramic body, giving it a luxurious appearance in the user’s hands. The ceramic material on the rear surface will replace the plastic and glass as we have seen them in the previous models. It’s interesting to note that this will not be the first time that OnePlus will use ceramic material for their devices, as they have already released a limited edition ceramic version of the uber-successful OnePlus X back in 2015, which was sold exclusively in the Indian and European markets.

The device may have a metal frame sandwiched between the ceramic back and the display in addition to having a luxury design and good performance, according to the Chinese Tipper Digital Chat Station. Keep in mind that the tipper referred to the phone in the leaked photographs as the OnePlus 11, not the OnePlus Pro, which the company produces each year with the standard model.

The tipper further added that the phone will come with as much RAM as 16GB. Additionally, UFS 4.0 storage, offering extremely high transfer speeds, can also be one of the specifications provided by OnePlus. The device will grab a 2K display with a QHD+ resolution of 3,216 x 1,440 the device is also rumoured to have a 6.7-inch AMOLED display on the front that supports a 120 Hz refresh rate and has a QHD+ resolution. This would be a first for a vanilla model from OnePlus that has a QHD+ resolution.

The device may include a 5000mAh battery with 100W fast charging capabilities and run OxygenOS, which is most likely based on Android 13. The 32 MP front camera will be accompanied by a 50 MP primary camera and a 48 MP ultra-wide camera on the back.

It is a given that the recently released Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset will be used in the device’s processor. OnePlus has stated that its upcoming flagship will be the first to include the aforementioned SoC at its core. The new Qualcomm product claims a 35 percent faster CPU, a 25 percent quicker GPU, and an up to 435 percent improvement in AI.

There is some good news for die-hard Call of Duty mobile players. Video game publisher Activision has announced that they have started taking pre-registrations for Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile for iOS. This news is like a breath of fresh air for the iPhone gaming community, as Call of Duty recently surpassed 25 million pre-registrations on Google’s Play Store for Android. Over the years, Call of Duty has garnered a niche following in India, with many gamers believing that it is a superior game to its counterparts such as Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Siege and Apex Legends.

According to information posted on the Apple App Store, the studio began accepting pre-registrations on November 17; COD Warzone Mobile will be accessible for download beginning on May 15, 2023. The renowned map Verdansk is making a comeback with the release of Warzone Mobile. The game is compatible with a variety of iPhone models, including the newest iPhone 14 series and the iPhone XS. The PC and console versions of the game will be ported to The Warzone Mobile for mobile devices.

Samsung will use an overclocked GPU with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor

After Samsung mysteriously disappeared from qualcomm’s official partners list. Now, it has been reported that Samsung will use a special version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 with a higher-clocked CPU. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 standard model (SM8550-AB) has an Adreno 740 GPU clocked at 680MHz, a Cortex-X3 prime CPU core running at 3.19GHz, four mid CPU cores running at 2.8GHz, and three power-efficient Cortex-A510 CPU cores. In contrast, it appears that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor (SM8550-AC) that will power the Galaxy S23 has a primary CPU core clocked at 3.36GHz and a GPU clocked at 719MHz.

According to a few new leaks, Samsung appears to want to secure the higher clock rates of the Snapdragon 8 gen 2 chip for its Galaxy S23 series devices. Some early geekbench results have shown that the Galaxy S23, S23 Plus, and S23 Ultra will have the Snapdragon 810 with a prime performance core clocked at 3.36 GHz.

It’s unclear whether the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip will carry that name or a different one. However, it appears like Qualcomm and TSMC have provided sufficient leeway for a respectable overclock. The 8 Gen 2 CPU is 35% quicker than its 8 Gen 1 predecessor, while the GPU is 25% faster, according to Qualcomm-approved statistics. This new interpretation of the chip should be quick given the overclock for both. Although, it is too early to conclude any significance from standard results.

It is being said that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 is 35% quicker on the CPU and 25% faster on the GPU than the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. The fact that Qualcomm has concentrated on increasing the power efficiency of its most recent flagship chipset is more noteworthy, as its chips from the previous two generations tended to overheat and choke under prolonged operation.
