FAQs

Q1. Why does my Netflix not show the top 10?

Answer. The top 10 lists may not appear if a TV show or movie in the list has a maturity rating that isn’t allowed or is restricted by your Netflix profile’s settings. You can change your profile’s allowed maturity rating and other parental controls from the profile and parental controls settings of your account.

Q2. How does Netflix choose the top 10?

Answer. Netflix is overhauling the way it calculates its top 10 shows and movies. Instead of ranking popular titles by total viewing time, the company said that now it will rank them based on “views”. It defines these “views” as the number of hours viewed divided by the total runtime.

Q3. How does Netflix calculate viewership?

Answer. Netflix’s equation for calculating views — total time divided by run time — isn’t new: The Hollywood Reporter has occasionally employed it to contextualize total viewing time data going back more than two years.

Q4. Which series is No. 1 on Netflix?

Answer. American Nightmare Season 1 (2024) The newest true crime obsession on Netflix is American Nightmare.

Q5. What is the most successful Netflix series?

Answer. Most Successful Netflix Shows Of All Time Include –

  1. Squid Game Is Still Being Talked About.
  2. Stranger Things Is The Most Popular Series On Netflix.
  3. Wednesday Is Netflix’s Newest Hit Show.
  4. Dahmer Quickly Hit The Top 10 List.

FAQs

What is the Circle to Search feature?

Circle to Search allows users to search for information by circling, highlighting, or tapping content on their screen, streamlining the process of obtaining information without leaving their current app or workflow.

How do I use Circle to Search?

To use Circle to Search, simply draw a circle around the text, image, or item in a video you’re interested in. Relevant search results, including articles, images, and shopping links, will be instantly displayed.

On which devices is Circle to Search available?

Initially, Circle to Search is available on the Google Pixel 8, Pixel 8 Pro, and Samsung Galaxy S24 series, with plans to expand to other Android devices in the future.

What can I search for with Circle to Search?

Circle to Search supports a wide range of content types, including text, images, and video items. It can be used for instant shopping, learning, travel planning, and making quick comparisons.

How does Circle to Search handle privacy and data security?

The development team has emphasized the importance of privacy and data security, ensuring searches are conducted securely with user consent and minimal data collection, safeguarding user privacy.

What are 5 ways to use Circle to Search ?

1. Shop what you see

Circle to Search can help you discover more about items you see, and shop for them whenever and wherever inspiration strikes.

So if you see someone wearing a unique, patterned top or spot a beautifully designed rotating cake stand online, long press the home button or navigation bar, and circle or scribble the items you’re interested in. From there, you can shop the same or similar options from retailers across the web.

2. Look up a word or phrase

With Circle to Search, it’s easy to look up definitions of words or phrases. Say you’re watching a video featuring a drink with the word “prebiotic” on it, but you aren’t quite sure what that means — or how it’s different from “probiotic.”

Usually, you would have to leave where you are and search for the word. Now, just long press the home button or navigation bar to activate Circle to Search and highlight “prebiotic” to learn more about it. When you’re done, just swipe away and resume the video.

3. Get travel inspiration

Circle to Search can even give you ideas for your next trip. Maybe you come across a video or social media post of someone exploring a city, and you spot a uniquely designed building.

Previously, you might have taken a screenshot and switched apps to search it, typed out a description or scrolled through the comments to try and find out what it was. With Circle to Search, simply scribble over the building to quickly identify it (and maybe add it to your own travel itinerary).

4. Compare options

Now you can easily compare options without leaving your screen. Say you’re texting with friends to decide where to eat.

They send you two different restaurant options, but you’re not familiar with either. Instead of switching between your text thread and an app to look them up, long press the home button or navigation bar and highlight one of the restaurant’s names. Without leaving your messaging app, you’ll see the restaurant’s menu, photos of popular dishes, customer reviews and its location.

Once you’ve looked at both options, just swipe away and let the group know which spot you’re craving.

5. Ask more complex questions

Circle to Search not only gives you quick information, it can give you AI-powered overviews (available in select countries).

Let’s say you’ve come across several social media posts with interesting-looking corn dogs, and you want to know why these delicious treats are trending. You can use Circle to Search to look them up and ask a more nuanced question, like “Why are these so popular?”

You’ll quickly learn that these are Korean corn dogs and understand why they’re trending through helpful information that’s pulled together from across the web. Once you’re done, you can swipe away and get right back to scrolling.

How to get Circle to Search feature and use it to search anywhere ?

All you have to do is set up Google Assistant on your Android phone and you are all set.
Once your Google Assistant is set up properly, simply start using the apps as you do.

The moment you feel like looking up something on the screen, say Hey Google or Ok Google and tap on the “Screen Search” option or “say Screen Search”.

Google Assistant will trigger the search by scanning the content of the current screen. You can then tap any area on the screen to highlight it and Google will search it for you to give the relevant result.

How to Use Circle to Search on Your Android Phone ?

Whether you use gesture navigation or 3-button navigation on your Pixel 8 or Galaxy S24, you can follow these steps to take advantage of Circle to Search:

Long-press the gesture navigation bar or the Home button on your phone.

This will show a prompt about Circle to Search and how to use it.

  • Tap the Try it now button.
  • Now, tap the subject or draw a circle around it to look up using Google.

You can also drag a line to highlight text for a Google search. Don’t worry about being perfect; it’s possible to adjust the circle or line later.

A Google search popup will appear with the search results. This can be text-based or image-based, depending on the subject.

After invoking Circle to Search, you can use the two-finger pinch gesture to zoom in on a subject. Further, you can refine the results by entering additional search terms in the search bar.

To return to the app you were using, swipe down from the top of the search window, press the back button, or tap the X button in the top-left corner.

For safety reasons, you cannot use Circle to Search in banking and other secure apps.

To view your Circle to Search history or delete the last 15 minutes of your activity, tap the three dots icon at the top-right corner of the Circle to Search screen and select the relevant option.

How to Disable Circle to Search?

If you don’t like the Circle to Search gesture or keep accidentally triggering it, you can turn it off on your Pixel by following these steps:

  • Open Settings on your phone.
  • Navigate to Display > Navigation mode > Gesture Navigation.
  • Turn off the Hold handle to search option.

On Galaxy phones, you can toggle off Circle to Search by heading to Settings > Display > Navigation bar.

If you frequently switch between apps to run a Google search, this Circle to Search feature will make your life easier. It’s an excellent addition to Android that makes searching for items displayed on your phone’s screen much easier and quicker.

Highlights

  • Exceptional balanced sound and wide soundstage
  • Ultra-comfortable with precision-engineered ergonomics
  • Includes advanced Dear Reality dearVR MIX-SE plugin
  • Remarkably lightweight design without compromising durability

As an enthusiastic audiophile and a long-time admirer of Sennheiser products, I was surprised by the opportunity to test the company’s latest offering, the Sennheiser HD 490 PRO+.

While I am not involved in professional sound mixing, I am aware that several consumers in the industry have a history of utilsing Sennheiser headphones for production and DJing.

My expectations were high, driven by my positive experiences with Sennheiser’s more consumer-friendly options.

So I am reviewing the Sennheiser HD 490 PRO+ as a casual user and not a professional user.

Pros and Cons

Pros Cons
Balanced sound Not casual-friendly
Ultra-comfortable Slightly higher price point

Unboxing the Sennheiser HD 490 Pro+ reveals a hardcover case and the headphones.

The case is designed for protection during transit.

Inside the case, you find the headphones and a 3m semi-coiled cable.

The box also contains an extra headband pad, a 3.5mm to 6.3 mm jack adapter, and two sets of ear pads.

Unique to the Pro+ is an unlock code for the dearVR Mix SE plugin.

Sennheiser HD 490 PRO+ Review: Design

The HD 490 PRO+ impresses with its incredibly lightweight construction right out of the box.

Although it initially seemed almost too light, hinting at a possible compromise on durability, my closer examination and subsequent experience dispelled these concerns

Its open-back design is a significant contributor to both the headphones’ physical lightness and the spacious soundstage they project, providing a listening experience that’s as expansive as it is detailed.

Again, this feedback is from a casual consumer point of view.

I’m sure users with a professional studio will have a much more detailed outlook on the headphones.

Sennheiser HD 490 PRO+ Review: Comfort

What I can say for sure though is that Sennheiser’s commitment to comfort is evident in the HD 490 PRO+.

The precision-engineered ergonomics eliminate pressure points, allowing for prolonged use without discomfort.

The inclusion of two sets of ear pads—one velour and one standard—offers options for comfort and sound preference, and I feel that the velour pads stand out for their superior softness and comfort.

Sennheiser HD 490 PRO+ Review: Sound Quality

Objectively, the headphones are said to be extensive in mimicking a flat sound signature and bassline so that producers can make music in the purest form.

The sound quality of the HD 490 PRO+, from my time using the device, lives up to Sennheiser’s reputation for balanced and expansive soundscapes.

The headphones’ open-back design and technical ingenuity deliver an uncoloured, dynamic sound across the full audio spectrum, with a special emphasis on a wide, dimensional sound stage and precise sound localization.

Again my emphasis has to be that of a casual audiophile and not someone in the business of using studio-grade headphones.

Even so, to my untrained ears, the innovative low-frequency cylinder system ensures the low-end is full, accurate, and clearly defined, marking a high standard in sound reproduction.

In conclusion, the Sennheiser HD 490 PRO+ stands as a compelling testament to the brand’s ongoing innovation in audio engineering.

Despite its feather-light build, it does not fall short in delivering exceptional sound quality, comfort, and durability, all of which will be key for audio professionals to make the kind of music that is devoid of any external audio influence.

What are Sennheiser HD 490 Pro Features & Specifications?

Full-Spectrum Audio Accuracy

To tackle this complexity, the Sennheiser engineers have given the HD 490 PRO an extremely wide, dimensional sound stage for precisely localising the components of a mix.
Ultralight voice coils ensure a fast and authentic sound reproduction.

The frequency response is uncoloured and honest across the entire audio spectrum, with the low end being full, accurate, and clearly defined thanks to a special low-frequency cylinder.

The open-mesh ear cup covers reveal Sennheiser’s Open-frame Architecture, which minimises resonances and distortion.

For an optimal listening experience, the transducers sit at a slight angle, thereby emulating a typical monitor loudspeaker set-up.

The HD 490 PRO studio headphones deliver a wide, spatial sound stage with excellent localisation, enabling producers to create refined masters

The Sennheiser HD 490 PRO studio headphones put users in full control of every detail of the mix.

A Pleasure to Wear

An excellent pair of studio headphones would only be half as good if it were uncomfortable.

Therefore, the Sennheiser engineers have put decades of experience from professional headset design into the HD 490 PRO.

Their lightweight, ergonomic design eliminates any pressure points, as the headband does not press on the sensitive parts of the head.

Also, the circumaural ear pads feature a Sennheiser-patented soft comfort zone for the temples of glasses while maintaining good sealing.

A patent has also been applied for regarding the special axes geometry of the HD 490 PRO.

This design makes sure that the headphones optimally adapt to the head when they are put on, and maintain an equal contact pressure no matter what the shape of the user’s head.

Two types of ear pads to perfectly adapt to the task at hand.

The producing ear pads (velour) of the HD 490 PRO have a slightly warmer response to create perspective and help users make a holistic judgement of the sound.

The mixing ear pads (fabric), on the other hand, allow for a very flat, neutral sound that helps dive into detail when a sound reference is needed in finishing off a mix.

Both ear pads are washable – a solution that is both hygienic and sustainable.

The type of ear pad has a massive impact on sound reproduction – with the HD 490 PRO, users get two headphones in one.

With the producing ear pads reproduction is slightly warmer, while the mixing ear pads help to drill down on the individual frequencies.

A licence to dearVR MIX-SE
The HD 490 PRO includes a free licence for the innovative dearVR MIX-SE plugin from Dear Reality.

The plugin turns a DAW into an ultimate virtual mixing environment, simulating the carefully designed acoustics of ideal mixing studios.

Not only is the engineer or musician placed in the sweet spot, dear VR MIX-SE also helps them ensure a balanced and consistent translation of their mixes on different systems.

Attention to Detail

The meticulous design of this top-of-the-range studio model does not stop with the accessories.

For example, the headphone cable can be plugged into the right or left ear piece of the HD 490 PRO to cater to different studio set-ups and preferences.

A patented cable coil structure ensures that the headphone cable does not transmit any noise when it hits the desk or rubs against the clothing.

The left/right designation is clearly visible on the inside dust covers of the transducers, while for the visually impaired, the headband fork carries braille information.

Each HD 490 PRO is delivered complete with two different sets of ear pads (mixing and producing) plus a 1.8 m headphone cable and a dearVR MIX-SE licence.

The HD 490 PRO Plus (pictured) includes a case, additional 3 m headphone cable and an extra fabric headband pad.

Another notable design tweak is the thinner metallic covering of the hinge on the Z Flip 6.

While details on functional improvements to the hinge mechanism remain scarce, this change could signify Samsung’s efforts to refine the device’s aesthetics and possibly its structural integrity.

The anticipation for a more robust hinge that minimizes the visible crease on the foldable screen is high among foldable enthusiasts.

Perhaps it might also be using a different mechanism for its movement which would enable easier openings with just one hand.

Overall, the Galaxy Z Flip 6 appears to embrace a more modern design with its flat, boxy edges, marking a departure from the rounded contours of its predecessor.

This design choice not only enhances the device’s visual appeal but may also contribute to a more comfortable grip.

There’s also speculation that this will likely lead to a bigger battery capacity on the Z Flip 6.

Noteworthy is the inclusion of dual microphones atop the frame and a significantly larger front earpiece, which should give us an improved audio experience.

The streamlined design extends to the volume rockers and power buttons, emphasizing the device’s sleek profile.

Is the Realme 12 5G or Redmi Note 12 5G better for gaming?

Both devices are equipped with capable processors and GPUs suitable for mid-range gaming. The choice between them would depend more on personal preference and other factors like display and battery life rather than gaming performance alone.

Should I buy the phone Realme 12 5G?

The Realme 12 5G feels like a noteworthy contender in the competitive sub-Rs 20,000 segment, providing me with a balance between performance, design, and features.

Even without its premium pricetag it’s a robust offering in terms of design, display, camera capabilities, and battery life.

Through my experience, it delivered on several fronts, offering a versatile and satisfying user experience that is hard to overlook for its price point.

What are the reasons to buy for Realme 12 5G?

Premium Design: Vegan leather back and meticulous craftsmanship offer a premium feel.

Impressive Display: 120Hz refresh rate and FHD+ resolution ensure a smooth and vivid visual experience.

Robust Camera: 108MP main sensor provides detailed and dynamic range-rich photos.

Stable Performance: MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ chipset and ample RAM support smooth multitasking and gaming.

Rapid Charging: 45W SUPERVOOC charging rapidly replenishes the battery, minimizing downtime.

What are the contents after unboxing the Realme 12 5G?

Unpacking the Realme 12 5G feels strikingly similar to the Realme 12 Pro, with the same familiar sequence of unveiling.

Upon lifting the lid, the first thing that meets your eye is the handset itself, its elegant design and prominent features immediately catching your attention.

Tucked underneath the handset, you’ll find the 45W charger, neatly placed.

Accompanying the charger is a USB Type-C cable, a crucial accessory for powering up the device and transferring data.

A separate section of the box houses a transparent silicone cover.

The box also contains standard documentation, offering vital details about the device, and a SIM card removal tool, a necessary gadget for installing your SIM card into the phone.

Should you buy the Redmi Note 12 5G?

The Redmi Note 12 5G is one of the most affordable 5G offerings in the country. Besides the latest network connectivity, the phone is a complete package for those on a tight budget.

The handset features an AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 48MP camera that should take some decent photos in good lighting conditions, and there’s a large 5000mAh battery.

All these make the Redmi Note 12 5G a very good buy in the segment, especially with the reduced price.

  • Equipped with a 50MP main sensor for exceptional clarity and detail in every shot
  • Offers studio-quality Aura Light Portraits and supports up to 30 people in group selfies
  • Provides comprehensive control with Pro mode for fine-tuning settings

The Vivo V series has consistently set the standard for camera specifications within its segment, focusing on delivering superior photography capabilities.

The introduction of the Vivo V30 is a testament to this legacy, with Vivo ensuring the incorporation of numerous camera-centric features designed to elevate the user’s photography experience.

I tested out the phone’s camera in various conditions and here are my findings.

Vivo V30 Camera Features

Vivo V30: Camera Capabilities
Vivo V30 Camera Features

First things first, what kind of optical hardware does the Vivo V30 possess?

The device features a 50 MP AF Ultra Wide-Angle Camera offering a 119-degree perspective, combined with advanced AI Group Portrait technology and Aura Light for smart color temperature adjustment.

The main camera, also a 50MP sensor, incorporates Vivo Camera-Bionic Spectrum (VCS) technology for true colour reproduction and optical image stabilization (OIS) to ensure clarity under any conditions.

It is a large 1/1.49-inch sensor, enhancing night-time photography with significant improvements in image clarity and color accuracy.

Additionally, the V30 boasts studio-quality Aura Light Portraits, addressing challenges in low-light conditions and complex lighting scenarios, and supports capturing group portraits through its 50MP selfie camera for enhanced clarity for up to 30 people, including an Eye AF Group Selfie feature to ensure sharp, detailed images across all subjects.

Vivo V30 Camera Overview: Landscape Photography

Landscape Photography
Vivo V30 Camera Overview: Landscape Photography

In my experience using the Vivo V30 for landscape photography, I found that it captures stunning details with an impressive dynamic range.

The colors it produces lean towards the more saturated side, giving the photos a vibrant and lively appearance.

Its shutter speeds are commendably quick, and the autofocus operates flawlessly, ensuring that every shot is sharp and clear.

There’s also a Pro mode in the camera app that allows you to properly fine-tune settings like ISO, Shutter Speeds, Exposure metering and more.

I was particularly impressed with how well it managed to capture portraits and intricate details, enhancing the overall quality of the photographs and providing a depth that truly brings images to life.

Vivo V30 Camera Overview: Ultra-wide Photography

Ultra-wide Photography
Vivo V30 Camera Overview: Ultra-wide Photography

The Vivo V30’s 50MP ultra-wide sensor is truly remarkable for landscape photography, enabling full-resolution shots and typically defaulting to pixel-binned 12.5MP images similar to the primary shooter.

It excels in maintaining color temperature across various lighting conditions, ensuring consistent quality.

Notably, there’s no warping at the edges, which is often a challenge with ultra-wide lenses.

The focus distribution is even, complementing the fast shutter speeds and expansive field of view that captures more of the landscape.

The tap-to-focus feature is reliable, though there are instances of missing sharpness in objects alongside some oversharpening.

Vivo V30 Camera Overview: Selfies

Selfies
Vivo V30’s 50MP selfie camera

Using the Vivo V30’s 50MP selfie camera has been a revelation in capturing selfies.

The camera comes loaded with features specifically tailored for selfie enthusiasts, including group selfies and eye-tracking to ensure facial features are captured in sharp contrast.

I’ve noticed the exposure behind my face is consistently even, with my facial features appearing slightly sharpened upon closer inspection.

The skin tones are accurately matched, making the facial portrait shots quite decent, especially in good lighting.

Additionally, the Aura flash feature for low light conditions significantly enhances the quality, ensuring selfies are well-lit even in less-than-ideal lighting situations.

Vivo V30 Camera Overview: Low-Light Photography

Low-Light Photography
Vivo V30 Camera Overview: Low-Light Photography

As far as the Vivo V30’s low-light photography goes, while it showcases commendable capabilities, it doesn’t quite match up to its daylight performance.

There’s noticeable oversharpening, likely to counteract noise reduction, which can detract from the natural look of images.

Focusing in low light takes a tad longer, although the dedicated night mode is impressive, sometimes it tends to overexpose shots.

Shadows and HDR are decent, but lens flare can be an issue with bright lights.

Despite these minor drawbacks, the Vivo V30 still impresses as a low-light photography tool.

Its ability to capture detail and maintain quality in such challenging conditions speaks to the underlying technology’s strengths

The potential for improvement does not overshadow the device’s current achievements in extending photography capabilities into the night.

My First Impression of Using the Vivo V30 Camera ?

Vivo V30 Rear Camera
Vivo V30 Rear Camera

The Vivo V30 is equipped with an impressive camera setup designed to cater to photography enthusiasts.

The front features a 50 MP AF camera, while the rear setup includes a 50 MP AF+OIS main camera alongside a 50 MP AF wide-angle camera.

This combination of all three lenses being 50MP shooters should promise great versatility in capturing high-quality images across various scenarios

From my initial time with the device, the camera has proven to be exceptional in daylight conditions, producing images with excellent clarity and detail.

The ultra-wide camera, in particular, stands out for its ability to capture wide vistas without sacrificing image quality.

Although I haven’t fully tested the device in low-light environments, the preliminary results are promising.

The various scene modes, including High resolution, Night, Portrait, and Dual View, among others, all indicate a versatile camera system ready to tackle any photographic challenge.

Read ahead for my full review which will go into greater detail of the phone’s photographic capabilities.

What was my experience of the camera capabilities of Vivo V30 after reviewing the phone ?

Vivo V30: Design and Display
Vivo V30 Camera Overview

The Vivo V30’s camera setup presents an intriguing blend of capabilities, with its strengths shining through despite some limitations.

It forgoes a dedicated telephoto lens, instead offering dual 50MP sensors for both primary and ultra-wide-angle photography.

The main camera, equipped with “True Color” Camera-Bionic-Spectrum VCS technology, impresses with its vivid and colorful output, although the colors sometimes border on being overly saturated.

The addition of the Aura Light is a game-changer for portrait photography, providing a soft, evenly distributed light reminiscent of a mini Ring Light favored by live streamers and influencers.

Selfies taken with the 50MP front-facing camera are pleasing, supported by various selfie-centric modes and the high resolution allows for significant cropping without loss of detail.

Skin tones are accurately rendered, making it a solid choice for selfie enthusiasts.

I noticed the primary camera delivers excellent dynamic range and fast autofocus, though I wish the shutter speeds were quicker.

The tap-to-focus feature is responsive, and the portraits produced are particularly striking.

The camera interface is user-friendly, albeit with many advanced features tucked away in the settings, which may not be frequently used by the average user.

The ultra-wide shots, while vibrant, tend to soften towards the edges, with a noticeable shift in color temperature under certain lighting conditions when compared to the primary camera.

Nevertheless, the overall vibrancy of the images remains appealing.

In low light, the performance is decent, though not the best in its class.

The Aura Light can brighten scenes effectively, but it sometimes detracts from the natural ambiance of the photo.

While focusing can be hit or miss in darker settings, the dedicated Night mode and the pronounced shadows it captures have their charm, offering room for improvement in low light capabilities.

In summary, the Vivo V30’s camera system, with its vibrant colour output and innovative Aura Light, makes it a strong contender for those prioritising photography in their smartphone choice.

While there’s room for improvement, especially in low light conditions and ultra-wide consistency, its overall performance is commendable.

A closer look at my Vivo V30’s comprehensive camera overview is recommended for those interested in photography.

Verdict

Vivo V30: Performance and Storage
Vivo V30: Verdict

The Vivo V30 sets a high benchmark in smartphone photography, maintaining the Vivo V series’ legacy of superior camera performance.

It impresses with its 50MP ultra-wide and main sensors, offering rich details, vibrant colours, and consistent quality across various lighting conditions.

While its low-light capabilities and selfie camera features like eye-tracking and Aura flash enhance night portraits and group selfies, there’s slight room for improvement in sharpness and noise reduction.

Overall, the Vivo V30 is a robust photography tool, ideal for capturing moments with precision and clarity, showcasing Vivo’s commitment to pushing the boundaries of mobile photography.
