OPPO is bringing a new F-series smartphone to India. There hasn’t been much talk about the OPPO F23 Pro 5G yet, but we’ve learnt detailed information about the device including its India launch date, price and expected specifications.
OPPO would be launching the F23 Pro 5G as the next phone in the series next month. The last OPPO F-series smartphone launched in India back in September last year, and this was the OPPO F21s Pro and F21s Pro 5G.
OPPO F23 Pro 5G Launch Date, Price in India (Expected)
The OPPO F23 Pro 5G is expected to launch in India on May 15th. It will be a mid-range smartphone with an expected pricing of around Rs 25,000 or Rs 26,000. The smartphone could launch in more than one variant, but there’s no detailed information on that yet.
It was earlier speculated that OPPO will launch the F23 in India this March but that never happened. Also, the latest information is about the ‘Pro’ variant and not the base model. With the expected launch date drawing close, we might get some official confirmation soon.

* Display: The OPPO F23 Pro 5G will feature a 6.72-inch display with 580 nits brightness. It will however not have an AMOLED screen, so we can expect an LCD on the smartphone.
* Processor: The smartphone will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor under its hood. This is the same chipset that powers the OnePlus Nord CE Lite 3 5G.
* Cameras: The OPPO F23 Pro 5G will come with a triple-rear camera setup which will include a 64MP primary sensor and two 2MP cameras, including a 40x microscope lens. For selfies, it will house a 32MP front camera.
* Battery, charging: The OPPO F23 Pro 5G will pack a 5,000mAh battery with 67W fast charging support, which will most likely be the proprietary SuperVOOC technology.
