Technology undergoes several changes and upgrades with each passing decade to cater to the needs of the present generation and the same holds true for electronic gadgets as well, which are its important subsets and Dell has just contributed a new gadget.

It has been Dell’s flagship for quite some time as the company hopes to set a new benchmark with the launch of XPS 13 Plus laptop, which has been termed as the ‘ultra-thin and light’ notebook that costs at Rs 159,990.

You can purchase it when it comes out on July 23, 2022 although the new model made its debut at CES earlier this year where it receives positive reviews from many tech experts who are now hopeful of its success when it hits the market.

When you compare it with the standard XPS 13, the brand new XPS 13 Plus is far more upgraded in nature that looks quite futuristic, which many people openly mentioned at CES when it debuted.

XPS 13 was seen as the gold standard for Windows laptops for a long time but while the flagship model looks quite similar from the outside, you will find a row of white LED backlit touch buttons when you open it as they have replaced the functional keys.

Added Features

A new trackpad has been added that cannot be seen by the naked eye because there isn’t any cutout there but has an unmarked glass pad with haptic feedback like the recently launched Macbook Pros by Apple.

XPS Plus 13 laptops are available both with or without touchscreen with a 13.4 inch display screen, a higher-wattage processor and comes with two options- either 4.4GHz Intel 12 Generation Core i5 or 4.7 GHz Core i7.

To add to the features, you can also get two Thunderbolt 4 ports although with no headphone jack and a Windows Hello 720p webcam and lastly, a fingerprint reader that is embedded in the power button.

All in all, XPS 13 Plus has high expectations from both Dell and other tech experts where both parties are of the opinion that it will succeed at a far greater scale than its predecessors and create a milestone for future gadgets to follow.

Apple iPhone 14 series to be unveiled in a few months

iPhone14 Pro

There are many speculations surrounding the launch of Apple iPhone 14 and even though it is expected to come out in September of 2022, Apple is yet to make an official announcement regarding the matter.

There have been many leaks in the past few months regarding iPhone 14 series that has given rise to certain speculations like the difference between the Pro and non-Pro models, a brand new design for Apple’s signature notch and no ‘mini’ variant.

While rumour mills suggest many things, there are some important points that are confirmed regarding the iPhone 14 series so far. These points are to inform viewers about what all they can expect when the device is finally launched in the market.

Model Features

iPhone will come out with four different variants this year similar to iPhone 12 and iPhone 13 series because Apple wants to shake things up with an excellent lineup of smartphones with newer features.

They include a vanilla iPhone 14, an iPhone 14 Pro and a 14 Pro Max but making its debut alongside these three will be the iPhone 14 Max, which can be considered an added bonus to an already illustrious list.

This will allow buyers two options where they can get a larger iPhone without paying extra for a ‘Pro’ variant just for the size. It will be interesting to see which of the models is lapped up by users.

The new iPhone 14 series is speculated to have a new ‘i-shaped’ notch, which makes it the first to ditch the signature Apple notch, which will make it engraved in viewers’ memory for quite some time.

This one will be a longer notch that is pill shaped with a round punch hole cutout that will pack the front camera while the pill notch is expected to incorporate the IR sensors for Apple’s FaceID functionality.

iPhone14 Pro

Given the poor sales generated by the small sized iPhone, Apple has decided to ditch the miniature variant once and for all as they feel that viewers too are no longer interested in it.

Another first for the iPhone 14 series is that it is reported to have different chipsets that’ll power both Pro and non-Pro variants of the smartphone. Ming-Chi Kuo, an analyst from Apple, has stated that iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max will be the only two models to have an A16 Bionic chip.

Apple will also bring new variants from Sony and LG for camera and display features, respectively but only for Pro-variants, which indicates that non-Pro variants may not have a bigger camera upgrade.

There has been a massive constrain in supply of the newest non-Pro Max variant due to which it won’t have the estimated number of units. These are some of the speculations that have been going on for many months but the final word will be from Apple itself.

The Dead pixel problem

A consumer from India has stated that the pixels (the color unit) on display have turned black several hours after their use. It is caused due to a broken transistor.  The main reason for this is said to be a manufacturing defect.

The company has not answered for this defect until now. Since it is a hardware defect, the only alternative left is to change the display fully.

Dampness under the back camera

Another customer complained that his phone seems to have moisture locked under its back camera. It is detrimental to the long usage of the phone.

However, the company has been quick to solve the issue. They arranged for returning the defective piece and replaced the customer with a brand new phone.

Were also been identified by the users.

Customer pain points are an integral part of the sales process, says Ajay Kumar Goel of Codestore Technologies

What’s so unique about CodeStore at a time when there are a number of companies offering services for app development?

CodeStore has a distinctive way of offering services to clients. We serve our clients on the basis of their requirements and our analysis.

Once the client shares their full requirement, what we do is complete and thorough research or we can say deep analysis of their requirements to find out each and every possibility or scenario. After that, we present our findings in front of the client.

We actually do not deliver exactly what the client wants but a lot more than that, which is actually a great thing for their app to step foot in the market with a bucket full of functionalities

What is the size of the app market in India and where does CodeStore fit in driving businesses?

According to Statista, the total revenue size of the App market in India is projected to reach nearly US$1,662.00m in 2022.

Our company leverages its in-depth domain expertise in the IT industry and its deep contextual knowledge of its customers’ businesses to craft unique, high-quality, high-impact solutions designed to deliver differentiated business outcomes.

There’s a lot of talk going around no-code application development. Can you please tell us about the technicalities involved in it? How is it different from the conventional method?

A no-code framework is a programming platform that uses a visual development interface so that non-technical users can build applications by dragging and dropping software components to build a complete application. Users do not need previous coding experience to build applications using no-code. No-code app development limits what you can build. Also, no code is poorly scalable and has security issues which arrive due to lack of control.

Who are your target customers and what have been their responses?

Codestore is targeting to become a leading global provider of high-quality software development services delivering world-class software solutions to SMEs (Small Medium Enterprises) focused on data analytics. With the arrival of new tech stacks, CodeStore is also becoming capable of adapting all new versions of tech stacks. According to our clients, CodeStore delivers robust software solutions in a timely manner. They understood the client’s specific needs well with a great command over the technologies they’ve used. Moreover, all of their concerns were addressed politely.

What are your pain points in dealing with the people/clients to make them understand the whole concept of app building, as many of the old-fashioned businessmen still hesitate in giving a digital makeover to their businesses?

Customer pain points are an integral part of the sales process. Without pain points, there would be no reason for customers to buy. There are a variety of approaches to identifying pain points as part of qualitative and quantitative research. Once we identify the customer’s pain points then we tend to solve them as well. As part of a business, our goal is to develop a solution that prospects will want to hear.

Also, Read Here: Why third-party apps are unsafe and compromise your safety?

What is your monetization model and what are the segments you offer to attract users?

We offer a very versatile business model so that our clients can hire an expert developer based on a fixed cost, T&M and monthly.

What according to you is going to be the future market trends for apps in India?

The market for mobile phones has already grown to an extent that trend analysts predict. The surge in the number of mobile users over the past few years has also led to massive growth in the mobile app industry. User demands and expectations will only grow as the technological revolution moves full steam ahead. From wearable tech to IoT, there’s a lot of new technology on the market that mobile apps need to keep pace with or risk falling behind.
