  • The new software from Amazon can be found on Echo Show devices and operates in the kids mode quite prominently
  • The software is something that every child can relate to as it will help them develop their skills from a young age

Create with Alexa in Brief

They say that child is the father of man where his behavior during childhood shapes and cultivates his personality, which is what he grows up to be upon reaching adulthood.

Some people are considered child prodigies as their talents were more than evident right from when they were toddlers, while there are some that are termed late bloomers as their talent and skills is buried deep within, without them even being aware of it, and takes its own sweet time to burst forth.

The millennial generation that was born in the 21st century has all the highly advanced technological conveniences at their disposal like smartphones, laptops, tablets, etc. but today they have all become everyday gadgets.

The world has moved on to Wireless Headphones, AirPods, wireless speakers, AR/VR headsets, etc. that the 2000s and 2010s generation is more interested in, but there is Amazon Alexa, a virtual assistant technology, that is one that is one of the most prominent.

Create with Alexa is the latest feature that you can find in Alexa that provides kids the liberty to create their own animated stories, which is a form of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tool highly useful in visual storytelling found on Echo Show devices and will only operate when the device is in Amazon Kids mode.

Alexa

The kids need to simply say ‘Alexa, make a story’ and there would be a couple of prompts through which the AI will create an animated story with the necessary music and sound effects.

Although there are a limited number of features in Create with Alexa at the moment- ‘enchanted forest’, ‘space exploration, and ‘space exploration’- it is likely that there will be a variety of them in the future.

Among the three, the kids can select any one of their choice but they’re advised to choose the hero of the story at their age, following which they select the colour and tonal description, which will then create and save animated stories that can be watched later.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Review: Overpriced, Unpolished, Yet Fun!

0
Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2

Staying on the same course as the 2009 original edition of Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2, the 2022 version of the game makes things extremely intense and creates a positive first impression. The game appears well-designed with its campaign missions that expand into sprawling shootouts and contract into stealth segments at a similar rhythm to the older games.

However, the storyline of the campaign itself is where the game falters and it doesn’t quite live up to the original Modern Warfare 2. It is interesting how even in 2022 the original is still rightfully considered one of the best entries in Activision’s long-running flagship shooter series.

If you were missing them, the game campaign marks the starry return of some of the most iconic Task Force 141 characters such as Captain Price, Sergeant Kyle “Gaz” Garrick, John “Soap” MacTavish, and the revered cult hero Ghost. The game does give us glimmers of true evolution here and there. Modern Warfare 2 has new rounds for the franchise such as Knockout, Invasion, and Prisoner Rescue. Moreover, it also has the signature style and fun multiplayer rounds including Domination, Hard Point, Kill Confirmed, Search and Destroy.

Modern Warfare 2 has designed things out pretty well by delivering a handful of popular modes that feel as frantic and addictive as ever. This is despite not being the most bountiful selection of modes we’ve seen. Breaking into dilapidated houses, clearing rooms and holding your breath as you turn each corner are some of the common themes of modern warfare games now. They’re done in the 2022 version of the game at times as well as they’ve ever been, however, it’s only when they spiral into some of the series’s most hair-raising firefights in years that these missions truly shine.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2

The Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 version 2022’s better levels often starts out with tightly composed operations where you’re clearing out a house floorboard’s creek and have your boots crush broken glass with each step. Combatants lash out at you as they try to take you by surprise and after blasting them out, you’ll hear their cohorts cuddling around in other rooms further away.

It’s a nice collaboration between solid-level design and top-notch audio engineering. It’s fair to

say it can be up there with the best in the genre. The larger battles that these moments usually blossom into are quite the spectacle and punctuate the missions nicely.

The issue, however, is that the broad strokes of Modern Warfare 2’s campaigns are predictable for the series at this point. Sniper levels, some stealth sections and a decent variety of locations keep each mission feeling distinct from the others.

For those who want to try their hands, this may come across as a bit overpriced considering the lack of storyline and mystery factor. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 was officially released on 28 October 2022. It was made available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series S/X. The game pricing upon launch started at Rs 4,999 for PC through Steam. The cross-gen versions of the game prices, currently available for Xbox Series S/X, Xbox One along with PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, too begin at Rs 4,999.

Adidas Ball Confirms Ronaldo Not Scoring Goal at FIFA 2022

FIFA 2022

Introduction

It appears that Cristiano Ronaldo did not touch the ball and score the goal for his opener in Portugal’s win over Uruguay, which has raised many eyebrows, especially Ronaldo fans but the facts seem to point that way.

Highlights

  • Adidas has come up with an interesting match ball that is technologically advanced enough to tell that the Portuguese forward did not even touch it
  • As a result of which, Ronaldo did NOT score the goal that granted victory to his team
  • The technology in question has been termed as the Connected Ball Technology by Adidas that has confirmed it.

Adidas Connected Ball Technology Turns the Tables in FIFA 2022

FIFA World Cup 2022 will most likely become the most popular sporting event of this year and it has already acquired a cult status of sorts. The event is being hosted by Qatar, where thousands of football fans are flocking in large numbers to watch their favourite teams play.

While fan wars are part and parcel of such a huge event, there has been an interesting event that took place in the Portugal-Uruguay match that has raised many an eyebrow, whilst simultaneously impressing football fans completely.

Cristiano Ronaldo had scored a goal during his opener as the centre forward for his team that took Portugal to a 2-0 win over Uruguay but now there is news surfacing that he did NOT score the goal because he didn’t even touch the ball.

Adidas used an innovative technology in the match ball called Connected Ball Technology that confirmed that Ronaldo’s head did not even come in contact with the ball during the match to score the opening goal.

FIFA 2022

The technology is one that measures the ‘heartbeat’ of players but here there was no external force on the ball that could be measured, due to which there was no ‘heartbeat’ in measurements and in the attached graphic because there is a sensor of 500Hz IMU inside the ball that allows high level accuracy in analysis.

Ronaldo’s match scoring goal was then awarded to Bruno Fernandes as the former’s alleged goal for his team in the 54th minute of the match was dismissed over Fernandes’ cross in the box that beat Sergio Richet in goal.

Conclusion

Once the photos were shared by ESPN, it was confirmed that Ronaldo’s head did not come in contact with the ball at all, which is why Fernandes was awarded the points, although both players did not know at the time as to whose goal it was.

Google to Pay $9.4 Million as Civil Fine for Fake Pixel 4 Ads

0
Google to pay $9.4 million
GOOGLE

Introduction

Google is in a royal mess as of late because it has used the largest radio station in the US called iHeartMedia for promoting fake ads for its device Google Pixel 4, while several other radio influencers too have been paid heavily by the tech giant for doing the same.

Highlights

  • Google has got itself into a financial soup as it has used radio influencers for promoting Google Pixel 4 ads that are highly misleading
  • iHeartMedia too has taken a huge sum from Google for promoting these fake ads in large numbers
  • A lawsuit has been filed in Alameda county that iHeartMedia has never used a Pixel 4 model to promote it.

Google Lands in Financial Mess for Misleading Ads

Google is a tech giant that is difficult to match up to and it has maintained its top position for many decades now by coming out with many excellent devices in the past few years and catering to the users’ needs through them.

Whenever it comes out with a new electronic device, the whole world sits up and takes notice because everyone knows that Google is bound to come out with something different every time in terms of features.

Tech giants like Google have to create aggressive advertisement campaigns so as to promote its device far and wide so that it reaches as many people as possible, with radio too being one of them.

iHeartMedia is the largest radio station in the United States whom Google has paid a handsome amount to promote and recommend the Google Pixel 4 series, which also includes some extremely prominent radio influencers with a massive following among the youth.

While promoting your device is no crime, the problem here is that while iHeartMedia radio DJs Network spoke extensively about their love for taking pictures of meteor showers and animals on the brand new Pixel 4 smartphone, none of them have ever owned or used it.

The US Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and seven US states have got an agreement with both iHeartMedia and Google on claims of fraudulently advertising Pixel 4 smartphone, where the allegations were that the tech giant paid handsomely to radio hosts for promoting it and share their personal experiences on air.

Google to pay $9.4 million

This would encourage listeners to go for the handset in large numbers that will massively increase its sales. Apparently, the promotional ads were shown more than 23,000 times in nearly ten media markets, including San Francisco and Los Angeles.

Another lawsuit filed in Alameda County has claimed that iHeartMedia never got any smartphone from Google so they had no right to promote the device without even using it, while FTC found out that Google had delivered five devices, not one user had a Pixel 4 to test out and use for radio commercials.

Conclusion

As penalty, Google has to pay $9.4 million in civil fines alongside iHeartIndia to resolve the lawsuit, which includes miscellaneous expenses, fees, and an extra $1.58 million for New York State.
