Rumors are there that Vivo is working on the Vivo X100, X100 Pro, and X100 Pro+. Recent reports have claimed that the Vivo X100 Pro+, which will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, will debut in Q1 2024 in China.

As far as the X100 and X100 Pro are concerned, both models may debut with the Dimensity 9300 chip onboard in November of this year in China.
In a Weibo post, popular tipster Digital Chat Station seemingly shared the key details of the Vivo X100 Pro.

As per the leak, the Vivo X100 Pro will have a curved-edge OLED panel with curved edges. It will support a 1.5K resolution and possibly a 120Hz refresh rate.

The back panel of the device will have a triple camera unit, comprising a 1-inch camera as the primary snapper and a periscope telephoto camera. The latter is said to be different from the one that will be available on the X100 Pro+.

According to recent leaks, Vivo and Samsung will have jointly developed a 200-megapixel Samsung HPV periscope telephoto camera for the X100 Pro+.

Coming back to the X100 Pro, recent reports have revealed that it will have a 50-megapixel Sony IMX989, 1-inch camera sensor. It is likely to be paired with a 12-megapixel IMX663 ultra-wide camera and a 64-megapixel OmniVision OV64B periscope telephoto camera.

The leak further states that the Vivo X100 Pro will support 100W charging. it also states that the device will offer other features, such as an under-display fingerprint scanner, an X-axis linear motor, an IR blaster, and dual stereo speakers.

The Vivo X100 Pro along with the X100 are expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chipset. The X100 Pro+, the top-end model in the series, is rumoured to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.

The label of “super” or “ultra” telephoto is usually afforded to cameras with a focal length over 300mm, drastically magnifying and pulling in distant subjects.

The iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro models’ telephoto camera has a focal length of equivalent to 77mm, so a focal length in excess of 300mm on the ‌iPhone 16‌ Pro Max would be a very large increase.

Super telephoto cameras are often used for sports and wild animal photography, but the extremely soft backgrounds they create also make them useful for portrait photography, providing there is enough distance between the subject and the photographer.

The change is seemingly facilitated by Apple’s upgrade to a periscope telephoto camera system, starting with the iPhone 15 Pro Max later this year.

With next year’s ‌iPhone 16‌ Pro models, Apple is reportedly planning to bring the telephoto camera to both of the “Pro” models, apparently enabled by increasing the smaller model’s size.
As such, giving the ‌iPhone 16‌ Pro Max a super telephoto periscope would enable Apple to maintain differentiation between the two “Pro” devices next year.

A periscope lens puts the camera elements between two 45-degree mirrors, so the photographic hardware can run down the inside of the phone rather than protruding even more.
The iPhone 15 Pro Max, due less than two months from now, is rumored to come with a periscope camera. It reportedly will deliver the same 3× zoom as today’s models. However, the periscope lens will slim down the iPhone Pro Max’s significant camera bump.

A Delhi-bound Air India flight got delayed in Udaipur on Monday after a passenger’s cell phone battery faced malfunction during take-off. The cell phone battery faced the problem after the plane took off from Udaipur’s Dabok Airport for Delhi.

However, official checked and fixed the issue and then the plane took off from Udaipur within an hour. The pilot landed the plane after smoke was seen in the plane.

Notably, this is the second incident involving Air India that has come to light in the last couple of days. However, no one was injured flowing the explosion of the cell phone.

A similar incident was reported last month when Air India’s San Francisco-bound flight made emergency landing in Russia’s Magadan after a mid-air engine failure.

The Delhi-SFO flight was then diverted to the port city following a mid-air glitch in one of the Boeing 777-200LR engines. Over 200 passengers was stranded there for two days and the flight landed in San Francisco on June 8.

Later on June 7, Air India sent a ferry flight to Magadan, in Russia to fly 216 stranded passengers and 16 crew members onward to their original destination San Francisco. “Flight AI173D landed safely in San Francisco (SFO) at 0007 Hours on 08 June 2023 (local time),” the airline had said.

Prior to this incident, an IndiGo flight – 6E 2134 which took off from Delhi for Dehradun in Uttarakhand made emergency landing at Delhi airport shortly after take-off.

The airline in a statement said: “IndiGo flight 6E 2134 from Delhi to Dehradun returned to its origin due to a technical issue. The pilot informed the ATC as per procedure and requested a priority landing.”
