A new leak has revealed the complete specs of the phone, right from its display size to its camera system.
The summary image of the upcoming Redmi smartphone shared by tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore, also revealed the colour options of the phone.

The phone shares a similar design as the POCO C55 except for some aesthetic differences like no leather back panel.
Redmi 12C Design & Colours
The Redmi 12C has a waterdrop notch on the front to house the selfie snapper and there is a sizeable chin below the screen. The volume rocker and power buttons are on the right edge, while the SIM card tray is on the left edge.
Moving to the back, there is a square module to house dual camera sensors and an LED flash.
There is also a fingerprint sensor placed inside the module. The phone has a textured back panel, which should offer a good grip on hands.
The phone can be seen in Green, Pink, Black and Blue colours.
Redmi 12C Specifications
According to the summary image, the Redmi 12C will come with a 6.71-inch display, which probably could have an HD+ resolution.
The bezels around the display, except for the chin, are fairly thin. The 12C is claimed to offer a slip-resistant and minimalist design.
The Chinese variant’s display has a 20.6:9 aspect ratio and 500 nits of peak brightness. It comes with a standard 60Hz refresh rate screen.
The phone is powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 SoC and will have a slip-resistant minimalist design.

The 12C weighs about 192 grams and measures 168.76 x 76.41 x 8.7mm.
It is likely to boot Android 12 out of the box. The global variant will have a layer of MIUI 13 on top.

Lastly, the Redmi 12C is tipped to launch with two storage options, the base variant will have 3GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. This model is tipped to carry a price tag of EUR 170 (around Rs 15,000). While the top-end 4GB and 128GB model is tipped to come at EUR 200 (around Rs 17,600).
