Samsung Galaxy M14 5G has been officially launched in Ukraine as the latest M-series offering and has 5G network connectivity support.

The phone has a waterdrop notch to accommodate the selfie shooter, flat edges, triple camera sensors arranged in a rectangular layout, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security and the phone appears to have a polycarbonate build, which is expected considering the price.

Samsung Galaxy M14 Launching Soon in India

Previously, a Samsung smartphone with model number SM-146B/DS had been listed in India’s BIS. The same smartphone has been listed on Samsung India’s website.

It indicates that the launch of the Galaxy M14 5G is nearing. The smartphone is also expected to be available in other parts of Europe soon.

The company equips the smartphone with a 6.6-inch PLS LCD display with a Full HD+ resolution. The display has an Infinity-V notch housing the front camera, a 90Hz refresh rate, and 2408 × 1080 pixels.

Underneath, it sports the Exynos 1330 chipset built on the 5nm process.

The chipset is an octa-core chipset consisting of two 2.4 GHz Cortex-A78 and six 2.0 GHz Cortex-A55 and Mali-G68 MP2 GPU.

Samsung has launched the smartphone with two storage options with 4GB standard RAM. It is available in 64GB and 128GB of storage.

The brand also equips the smartphone with a dedicated micro-SD card slot. It runs on OneUI 5.0 based on Android 13 out of the box.

In the optics department, it features a triple-rear camera setup. The setup comprises a 50MP primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture and PDAF. The sensor is accompanied by two 2MP sensors, macro, and depth, respectively, with f/2.4 aperture. The notch in the display houses the 13MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture. Both cameras can record videos up to 1080p @ 30fps resolution.

The highlight of the smartphone is the large 6000 mAh battery. Samsung has equipped the smartphone with 25W fast charging tech instead of 15W on-budget smartphones.

However, Samsung doesn’t bundle the charger with the smartphone.

The device is available in Silver, Blue, and Dark Blue colour options.

Samsung has promised two significant and four years of security updates with the device.

Meta Platform’s (META.O) was back up for most users after a global outage, the photo-sharing platform said on Thursday, adding that an hours-long technical issue has been resolved.

“Earlier tonight, a technical issue caused people to have trouble accessing Instagram. We resolved this issue for everyone as quickly as possible,” Instagram said in a tweet.

Downdetector, which tracks outages, reported more than 53,000 incidents of users unable to access Instagram at the peak of the outage. The website collates status reports from a number of sources, including user-submitted errors on its platform.

As Instagram was coming back online, Downdetector said reports of outages had fallen below 1,000 in the United States.

Reports of issues came down to less than 100 reports in the UK, India, Japan and Australia, the outage-tracking website showed.

With features such as e-commerce, reels, personal blogging, news sharing and more, Instagram today is a one-stop destination for all kinds of information, entertainment and data.

Any glitch or even a moment’s disturbance can have huge effects on an unfathomably large audience.

On 31 October, the app faced a major global outage as users shared screenshots of the app crashing.

Soon Twitter was flooded with screenshots of people being locked out and their accounts suspended for violating certain community rules.

The notification comes with the warning that the user has 30 days time to disagree with the decision and if Instagram is unable to confirm their identity, the account will get permanently disabled.

Out of those affected, many reportedly have private accounts and did not post anything derogatory that would violate any rules. Media reports also suggest that this issue is mainly concentrated among iPhone users who were unable to use the app after installing an update in the morning.

Instagram has acknowledged this issue and has responded to it with a tweet which reads, “We’re aware that some of you are having issues accessing your Instagram account. We’re looking into it and apologize for the inconvenience.” Following this #instagramdown started trending as well.

Following this outage, several noted instagram followers have seen a major fall in followers count.

One of the highest-followed accounts belonging to ace footballer Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly lost 3 million followers while Instagram’s own primary account has lost over a million followers.

Instagram Down for Thousands of Users, but there’s a way to access it

As seen in the Downdetector chart above, the app has witnessed a massive outage in the last 24 hours, and the issue seems to have not been fixed yet.

We tried to access the app via our metered connection, home Wi-Fi connection, and via a VPN (SurfShark).

While the first two methods did not help us a single bit, trying to access Instagram with a VPN connection on did work for us, thereby meaning that the issue might be specific to some locations and servers.

The outage has been causing Instagram to not load content, such as posts from the feed and even the Stories won’t load. Users have been seeing messages like “Couldn’t refresh feed” and “Couldn’t load posts”.

There have also been reports by users, claiming that Instagram gives out a notification suggesting that the devices are not connected to the internet, while they actually are.

Surprisingly, in our test, one of our devices even logged us out of the app, and we have to log in again (which, thankfully, worked).

Previously , iPhone 14 & iPhone 14 plus models were available in five different colours – Blue, Midnight, Purple, Starlight, and (Product) RED.

However, the new addition of the Yellow colour option has expanded the range.

Both models come with three storage configurations – 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB. In India, the starting price for the base model of the iPhone 14 is Rs. 79,900, while the iPhone 14 Plus starts at Rs. 89,900.
