Realme launched its first-ever phone in the Narzo N Series in April 2023, when Realme Narzo N55 went official in India. This month, however, the brand has some more exciting new plans.
Not only has Realme started teasing the launch of its next number series, aka the Realme 11 Series, but the company also plans to launch its slimmest-ever smartphone in India. This will be the 2nd launch in the Realme Narzo N Series and the teaser for it has gone live on the e-commerce website Amazon.
The name of the device is expected to be Realme Narzo N53.
After a teaser on Amazon.in and Realme’s own website, the Narzo N53 is now officially set for an India launch on May 18th. Media invites have been sent out, including one to 91mobiles, which confirm the date for the launch of Realme’s slimmest smartphone yet, in India.
Further, the company has confirmed that this will be a digital-only launch event.
Interestingly, the Narzo N53 is the second smartphone in the Realme Narzo N series of smartphones, which debuted last month with the Narzo N55.
Realme Narzo N53: What to Expect
Through media invites sent out, Realme has confirmed the launch of the Narzo 53. A report from April had hinted at the upcoming launch of the smartphone.
According to that report, the Narzo 53 will be priced at around Rs 13,000 in India, making it a budget smartphone that takes on the likes of the iQOO Z6 Lite 5G and the Redmi Note 10S, both of whom are priced in the highly-competitive sub-Rs 15,000 segment.
Other than that, we can expect two RAM and storage options of 4GB + 64GB and 6GB + 128GB, for different use cases and budgets. The report mentioned that the upcoming Narzo N53 will likely arrive in two colour options – Feather Black and Feather Gold.
In the teaser by Realme, the company confirmed that the Narzo N53 will come with up to 16GB of Dynamic RAM and 33W SuperVOOC fast charging, which puts it on par with other smartphones in its price segment.

Narzo N55: Specs
The Realme Narzo N55 is powered by MediaTek Helio G88 chipset with up to 6GB RAM and up to 128GB storage onboard. It runs Android 13-based Realme UI 4.0 out of the box and has support for Mini Capsule which is very similar to Apple’s Dynamic Island on iPhone 14 Pro.
It sports a 6.52-inch LCD panel with FHD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. The backside has a dual camera setup with a 64MP primary and a 2MP depth sensor, while the front has an 8MP selfie shooter.
The smartphone packs a 5000mAh battery under the hood with up to 22W SuperVOOC wired fast charging support over a Type-C USB port.

Realme Narzo N53 launching in India soon?
The teaser revealed on Amazon claims that the Realme Narzo N53 will be the slimmest Realme smartphone in India. Realme will launch this device to celebrate the completion of 5 years in India.
The teaser shows the side profile of the device with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and volume rocker. It reveals the camera bump as well. Since Narzo N55 is 7.89mm thick, Narzo N53 will be even slimmer.

The images in the teaser showcase the device in two colors- Feather Gold and Feather Black. Based on some reports, the Realme Narzo N53 will come in 4GB RAM+64GB storage and 6GB RAM+128GB storage variants. It will retail via Amazon along with realme.com and offline stores. The smartphone is expected to be priced aggressively at under Rs. 13,000 in India.
