Meanwhile, a new Xiaomi smartphone has appeared on the Geekbench database and reports are hinting that it to be the upcoming Xiaomi 18 Pro Max. The device carries the model number M610BB and has been linked to the Chinese variant of the alleged Pro Max model.

Xiaomi 18 Pro Max Allegedly on Geekbench Listing

According to the details shared by tipster Anvin @ZionsAnvin on X, the Xiaomi smartphone with model number M610BB has been spotted on a Geekbench listing. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm’s SM8975 chipset, which is currently believed to be the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro.

The processor has an octa-core configuration with two cores clocked at 5.01GHz, three cores at 4.03GHz and three cores at 3.74GHz. The listing also shows the smartphone running Android 17 and having around 16GB of RAM.

The smartphone scores 2831 on single-core tests and 8843 on multi-core. Moreover, the Geekbench entry lists an Adreno 845 GPU. This is different from the Adreno 850 GPU mentioned in an earlier Geekbench listing for the Xiaomi device carrying model number M154FF. The difference creates further uncertainty about the hardware configuration of these alleged Xiaomi smartphones.

Recent rumours have linked the M610BB model number to the Xiaomi 18 Pro Max, while the earlier M154FF model has been associated with the Xiaomi 18 Pro.

The claim matches earlier leaks from tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo, who has been sharing details about the feature since last month. Here’s more on the latest update.

OnePlus 16 with ColorOS 17 and Global 165Hz Refresh Rate

Li Jie, President of OnePlus China, has revealed that the OnePlus 16 will be the first smartphone to run ColorOS 17 and will feature what OnePlus calls a “global 165Hz ultra-high refresh rate.”

Unlike the OnePlus 15, the new model is expected to support 165Hz across the system and regular apps, rather than restricting the higher refresh rate to a limited selection of games and applications.

Meanwhile, Digital Chat Station has also shared an image of the settings interface for the feature. The 165Hz option appears directly inside the regular display settings, meaning users will not have to first access Developer Options to turn it on.

The OnePlus 16 is reportedly set to use new Oriental Screen X4 display material along with updated circuitry. These hardware changes are said to enable support for the global 165Hz refresh rate.

Early testing has reportedly shown the 165Hz mode working in system applications as well as apps downloaded through the Play Store. This could make the feature considerably more practical instead of limiting it to a handful of supported applications.

The OnePlus 15 also arrived with a 165Hz display, but its implementation had an important limitation. Apart from a small number of supported games, the display generally operated at a maximum of 120Hz.

Motorola has not mentioned the name of the device anywhere in the teaser.

However, the upcoming smartphone could be the Edge 70 Neo, given that the company had already announced that the model would make its way to India in the coming months when it unveiled the Motorola Edge 70 Plus.

What We Know About the Motorola Edge 70 Neo So Far?

The Motorola Edge 70 Neo was recently spotted on the Geekbench database, giving us some early details about its possible hardware. The listing suggested that the smartphone could use the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset, which is also offered with the Motorola Edge 70 Plus. The device was also listed with around 6GB of RAM and Android 16.

Samsung is set to increase the price of the Samsung Galaxy S26 in India. The price revision will apply to both storage variants of the smartphone with the hike going to Rs 12,000. The new pricing will be effective from September 20, 2026.

The Galaxy S26 was launched in India earlier this year at Rs 87,999 for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant. The higher 12GB + 512GB model was introduced at Rs 1,07,999. Here are the new prices after the revision.

The Samsung Galaxy S26 12GB + 256GB variant will see a Rs 12,000 price increase. Its current price of Rs 87,999 will be revised to Rs 99,999.

Samsung Galaxy S26 Specifications and Features

The Samsung Galaxy S26 features a 6.3-inch Full-HD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 1,080×2,340-pixel resolution and up to a 120Hz refresh rate. This is slightly larger than the 6.2-inch display found on the Galaxy S25.

For selfies, there is a 12-megapixel wide-angle front camera with an f/2.2 aperture and a 26mm focal length. The rear cameras can record 8K video at 24/30fps and 4K video at 30/60fps.

The Galaxy S26 packs a 4,300mAh lithium-ion battery, which is larger than the 4,000mAh battery on last year’s Galaxy S25. The battery supports 25W wired charging as well as wireless charging.

The phone measures 149.6×71.7×7.2mm and weighs 167 grams. Connectivity options include 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6, Glonass, Galileo, GPS, QZSS and a USB Type-C port. The smartphone also features a gyroscope, e-compass, accelerometer, barometer and proximity sensor along with an in-display fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication.

The OPPO F35 Pro 5G is expected to be positioned above the standard F35 in the upcoming lineup. According to previous reports, the Pro model could be a rebranded version of the China-exclusive OPPO A7 Pro Max, while the standard F35 could be based on the OPPO A7 Pro.

The F35 Pro is reportedly set to feature a 120Hz flat AMOLED display. It could be powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 chipset and may pack a battery with a capacity reaching the 10,000mAh mark. The smartphone is also rumoured to feature a 50-megapixel front-facing camera.

Samsung has quietly launched the Galaxy A08, its latest budget smartphone and successor to last year’s Galaxy A07. The phone had already been spotted in Google’s systems a few weeks ago and Samsung has now officially introduced it. The Galaxy A08 comes with a large battery, a MediaTek chipset and expandable storage. It also runs Android 16 out of the box and is promised long-term software support.

The smartphone is already available in Ukraine. Listings for the Galaxy A08 have also appeared on Samsung’s websites in Serbia and South Africa. The phone is expected to reach more markets over the coming weeks and months.

As for price, the 4GB RAM and 128GB storage variant is priced at 10,699 Ukrainian hryvnia, which is approximately $239.

Samsung Galaxy A08 4G – Specifications

The Samsung Galaxy A08 features a 6.7-inch HD+ LCD display with an Infinity-U notch. Unlike phones with a punch-hole camera, the 8-megapixel selfie camera is placed inside a waterdrop-style notch.

The phone is powered by the 6nm MediaTek Helio G99 chipset, which Samsung has also used in several of its recent budget smartphones. Graphics are handled by the Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. The Galaxy A08 comes with 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Storage can be expanded up to 2TB using the microSD card slot.

On the software side, the Galaxy A08 runs Android 16 with One UI 8. Samsung is promising six generations of Android OS upgrades and six years of security updates for the smartphone.

For photography, the phone has a dual rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary sensor featuring an f/1.8 aperture and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. An LED flash is also included for low-light photography. The fingerprint scanner is integrated into the side-mounted power button, while the phone retains a 3.5mm headphone jack for wired earphones.

The Galaxy A08 is equipped with a 6,000mAh battery and supports 25W wired charging. Samsung does not provide a charger in the box, meaning buyers will need to use their own USB-C adapter. The phone also carries an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance.
