Oppo is reportedly developing its next-generation foldable smartphone, the Oppo Find N7. According to recent leaks, the upcoming foldable is expected to feature a wide foldable design similar to the rumoured to the other wide foldables expected to arrive later this year. Well-known tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo has been sharing details about the device over the past few weeks. The latest leak from the tipster reveals fresh information about its battery capacity and hardware.
Oppo Find N7 Battery Details Leaked

According to the latest post shared by Digital Chat Station on Weibo, the Oppo Find N7 is currently being tested with a 2nm Snapdragon flagship processor, which is believed to be the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 (SM8950).
The leak also claims that the smartphone is being evaluated with an on-device AI accelerator.
The tipster further states that the foldable is currently planned to feature a battery capacity beginning with the number “6” with the engineering prototype targeting a 6,500mAh battery. If this information proves accurate, the Oppo Find N7 could offer a significantly larger battery than competing foldable smartphones expected from Samsung and Apple.
Oppo Find N7 – Camera Design Still Under Evaluation
Responding to a user comment in the same Weibo post, Digital Chat Station revealed that Oppo is currently testing two different camera module designs for the Find N7.

One prototype reportedly features a large circular camera island, while the other adopts a horizontal camera layout. The tipster also asked followers which of the two designs they preferred indicating that Oppo has not yet finalised the camera design.
Oppo Find N7 – What Else We Know?
The Oppo Find N7 is reportedly scheduled to launch in Q1 2027. If the leaked timeline turns out to be accurate, it could become the world’s first foldable smartphone powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 chipset.
Earlier leaks from the same source suggested that the Find N7 will feature a 5.5-inch outer display and a 7.6-inch foldable inner display. The display panels are reportedly being supplied by both Samsung Display (SDC) and BOE.
The foldable is also expected to feature an advanced hinge mechanism designed to deliver a nearly crease-free folding experience.
However, Oppo has not officially confirmed any of these details, so the final specifications may differ when the smartphone is announced.
