October 2026 appears to be a busy month for smartphone launches in India. Vivo, OPPO and Motorola are expected to introduce several new models including flagship smartphones, camera-focused devices and phones with large batteries.
The month will begin with the Vivo V80 and Vivo S2 FE, while OPPO is expected to bring its F35 series around the same time. Later in the month, the OPPO Find X10 series is expected to arrive, while Motorola has confirmed that the Edge 70 Neo is coming to India.

Vivo V80 – Launch Confirmed for October 6
The Vivo V80 will launch in India on October 6 at 12 PM IST. It will be available in Sunrise Anthem, Horizon Blue and Stellar Black colours through Vivo’s India website, Amazon, Flipkart and offline retail stores.
Vivo has confirmed that the smartphone will feature a 6.59-inch 1.5K OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and up to 5,000 nits of local peak brightness. The phone will run OriginOS 7 based on Android 17 and feature a one-piece cold-carved glass body with a floating camera module.
For cameras, the Vivo V80 will feature a 50MP OIS primary camera and a 50MP Night Telephoto camera along with a 50MP Group Selfie camera. All three cameras will be tuned by Zeiss. The setup will support 3x optical zoom, up to 100x zoom, 4K Cinematic Video and 4K 60fps recording. Vivo has also confirmed camera features such as AI Creative Camera, Live Sticker Collage and AI Diwali Portrait 2.0.
The phone will be powered by a 7,200mAh battery with 90W FlashCharge support. Vivo claims that it can provide up to 14 hours of navigation and up to 39.5 hours of local video playback.
A leaked box MRP suggests that the 8GB + 128GB variant could carry an MRP of Rs. 1,19,999. However, the box MRP is generally higher than the actual selling price. A tipster has claimed that the phone will launch at a price above Rs. 60,000.
Leaks also point towards the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset paired with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. The phone is also expected to feature an 8MP ultra-wide camera and IP68/IP69 dust and water resistance.
OPPO F35 5G – Launch Expected on October 5
The OPPO F35 5G is rumoured to launch in India around October 5. According to rumours, the phone is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6360 chipset and a 6.57-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
It could pack an 8,000mAh battery with 80W charging and a 4,300mm² VC cooling system. For photography, the F35 could have a 50MP + 2MP rear camera setup and a 50MP ultra-wide selfie camera. It is also tipped to offer IP68, IP69, IP69K and IP66 ratings.
The phone is expected to measure 8.8mm in thickness and weigh 205 grams. It could be available in 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 128GB configurations.
The expected price is between Rs. 35,000 and Rs. 40,000, while colour options could include Wave Blue, Titanium Grey and Mist Pink.
OPPO F35 Pro 5G – Launch Expected on October 5
The OPPO F35 Pro 5G is also rumoured to launch around October 5 in India. It is expected to sit above the standard F35 and could be powered by the octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 7360 Max chipset.
The phone is tipped to pack an 8,000mAh battery with 80W charging and a larger 5,000mm² VC cooling system. For photography, the F35 Pro could feature a 50MP large-sensor main camera with OIS and an 8MP ultra-wide camera. On the front, it is expected to have a 50MP ultra-wide selfie camera with Natural Tone.
The phone is also tipped to offer IP69K protection along with Rainstorm Touch support. Its expected price is between Rs. 45,000 and Rs. 50,000.
Vivo S2 FE – Launch On October 6
Vivo has confirmed that the Vivo S2 FE will launch in India alongside the Vivo V80 on October 6. A Flipkart microsite for the smartphone is already live, confirming that it will be sold through the platform.
A leaked box price reportedly puts the 6GB + 128GB variant at Rs. 39,999. However, the actual selling price could be lower. The Vivo S2 originally launched at this price but is now more expensive following a price hike.
The Flipkart teaser has revealed the phone’s rear design. It features a flat green back panel with rounded corners and flat-looking side frames. The top-left corner houses a rounded-square camera module with two large circular camera elements arranged vertically. An LED flash is placed beside the upper camera.
The Vivo S2 FE is tipped to feature a 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 2,000 nits HBM brightness. It is expected to use the MediaTek Dimensity 7300e along with LPDDR4X RAM, UFS 3.1 storage and a reported 3,800 sq mm VC cooling system.
One of its biggest reported features is a 10,000mAh battery, although Vivo has not confirmed this capacity yet. The phone is also expected to support 44W charging. Despite the large battery, the phone is reportedly 8.75mm thick and weighs 225 grams.
For cameras, the phone is tipped to feature a 50MP Sony IMX852 primary camera, 2MP secondary camera and 32MP selfie camera. IP68 and IP69 ratings are also expected.
The Vivo S2 FE is also expected to receive three OS updates and five years of security updates.
Interestingly, the reported specifications and design are similar to the Vivo V80 Lite 5G sold in Malaysia, although Vivo has not confirmed any connection.
OPPO Find X10 Series – Launch Expected By Late October
The OPPO Find X10 series is expected to launch in India by late October or early November 2026, ahead of the Diwali festive season. The series recently debuted in China and has already appeared on India’s BIS certification database.
A tentative launch date of October 28, 2026 has also been mentioned by tipsters, although OPPO has not officially confirmed the date. The premium lineup is expected to include the standard Find X10 and the premium Find X10 Pro Max. The Find X10 Pro is reportedly expected to remain exclusive to China.
The standard Find X10 is expected to start at around Rs. 90,000, based on its Chinese starting price of CNY 5,499. Meanwhile, the Find X10 Pro Max could fall in the Rs. 1,20,000 to Rs. 1,50,000 range based on its Chinese starting price of CNY 6,799.
The Find X10 comes with a 6.59-inch 1.5K AMOLED LTPO display, while the Pro Max gets a larger 6.78-inch panel. Both support a 144Hz refresh rate, with the standard model reportedly featuring bezels as thin as 0.99mm. It uses MediaTek’s next-generation flagship chipsets based on a 2nm architecture. The Find X10 uses the Dimensity 9600M, while the Find X10 Pro Max gets the higher-end Dimensity 9600 Pro.
The Find X10 Pro Max features a triple 200MP camera system, covering the main, ultra-wide and periscope telephoto cameras. The standard Find X10 has a dual 200MP setup consisting of the main and telephoto cameras paired with a 50MP ultra-wide camera. Both models feature a 50MP selfie camera. Both core models are also equipped with an 8,000mAh battery, supporting 80W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
The phones are expected to run ColorOS 17 based on Android 17 out of the box.
Motorola Edge 70 Neo – Launch Expected in October

Motorola has confirmed that the Motorola Edge 70 Neo will launch in India, although the company has not revealed the exact launch date yet. Motorola has also kept most of the phone’s specifications under wraps.
The smartphone has already appeared on Geekbench 7.0.0, where it was tested on Android AArch64. The Edge 70 Neo scored 723 points in the single-core test and 2,943 points in the multi-core test. The listing shows the phone using an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 (SM763) chipset.
More information about its pricing, design, display, cameras and other specifications is expected closer to the official launch.
Which Upcoming Phone Looks Most Exciting?
October’s upcoming smartphone lineup covers several different segments and priorities. The Vivo V80 stands out for its Zeiss-tuned camera setup and 7,200mAh battery, while the OPPO Find X10 series is aimed at the premium flagship segment with Hasselblad camera technology and high-end hardware.
The OPPO F35 Pro, meanwhile, combines an 8,000mAh battery with a 50MP OIS main camera, making battery life and camera hardware two of its key reported highlights.
