Motorola Edge 70 Neo Appears on Geekbench and HDR10+ Database

Motorola recently confirmed that the Edge 70 Neo is planned to arrive in India in the coming months, after launching the Edge 70 Plus globally. Now, the Geekbench listing gives us an early look at the expected performance of the Motorola Edge 70 Neo. The smartphone scored 723 points in the single-core test and 2,943 points in the multi-core test.

The listing identifies the chipset as QTI SM7635, which is believed to be Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 3. The processor is paired with an Adreno 810 GPU. The device tested on Geekbench also had approximately 6GB of RAM and was running Android 16.

According to the Geekbench 7.0.0 for Android AArch64 entry, the phone uses an octa-core CPU. Its configuration includes four cores running at 1.80GHz, three cores at 2.40GHz and a single core clocked at 2.50GHz.

The global version of the Edge 70 Plus also uses the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset. Since the Edge 70 Neo Geekbench listing points to the same processor, there is speculation that Motorola could bring the Edge 70 Plus to India under the Edge 70 Neo name.

However, this should be treated as speculation until Motorola officially confirms the relationship between the two models.

The Edge 70 Neo has also appeared in the database of HDR10+ certified devices, adding another piece of information about the upcoming smartphone.

Moto G47 Power Spotted on Epto

Meanwhile, Moto G47 Power from Motorola’s G-series lineup has now been listed on Italian e-commerce platform Epto, where its name and one memory configuration have been revealed.

According to the listing, the particular variant comes with 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. No other specifications of the Moto G47 Power have been revealed through the Epto listing.

The standard Moto G47 has already made its debut, so the Power model could follow Motorola’s usual approach of offering a larger battery while keeping much of the existing hardware. This would be similar to what the company has done with Power variants of some of its previous smartphones. Another possibility is that Motorola could give the G47 Power an entirely different set of specifications. At this point, there is no confirmation about the battery capacity or other hardware.

More details about both the Motorola Edge 70 Neo and Moto G47 Power are expected to emerge in the coming days.
