Xiaomi has chosen to be the exception by announcing a two-year warranty extension for select phones in India. But there are VERY specific conditions for you to avail of this.
Here are the devices getting this extension and the reason behind it
Xiaomi quietly announced on Discord (you read that right) that selectolder phones will have an extended warranty of two years. These devices are the Redmi Note 10 Pro, Redmi Note 10 Pro Max, Mi 11 Ultra, and Poco X3 Pro.

Faqs on Xiaomi Warranty Extension
1) Xiaomi Extended Warranty to 2 years For These phones, Check Your Device. Details?
Ans) Xiaomi – What Went Wrong?
There was a time when Xiaomi was India’s No. 1 brand, at that time everyone used to recommend Xiaomi’s phone without thinking and the reason behind it is trust and specifications at affordable price.
But right now Xiaomi India lost their position from No.1 to No.3 in India and the particular reason for that is motherboard dead /hard brick / camera dead / Wi-Fi issues etc. after updating to their phones to latest MIUI software. This all starts with Xiaomi’s own sub-branded POCO X3 Pro.
Majority of the Xiaomi phones are now getting dead every random day and some got repaired from service center but most of them didn’t get repaired as the service center guys ask for money even if your phone is under warranty.
This issue is getting worse day by day and people are shifting to other company smartphones and now the Xiaomi India decided to provide extra 1 year warranty for selected devices which you can check from below.
Xiaomi Extended Warranty for these phones
Xiaomi India has extended warranty to 2 years for these selected phones which are very popular phone in the market. You can check the name of these phones.

* Mi 11 Ultra
Along with that Xiaomi India released a new statement which describes everything about the extended warranty for selected phones.

Redmi Note 10 Series
* have system UI not responding issue
* have front camera not working issue
POCO X3 Pro
* have power on Fault

Xiaomi extends the warranty of select phones
If customers in India have purchased any of the aforementioned devices within the last two years and are presently facing difficulties related to the selfie camera or motherboard, Xiaomi bears the responsibility to address and rectify these issues in accordance with the warranty.
To take advantage of the extended warranty, customers must provide the purchase invoice of their phone at the nearest Xiaomi service centre. Repairs or replacements will be offered at no cost within the scope of the extended warranty unless the company deems the issues to be beyond the coverage. It is important to note that rooted phones, liquid damage, tampering, or cases with physical damage will not be eligible for extended support.
The extension of warranty coverage highlights its restricted scope, suggesting that Xiaomi has recognized potential issues related to these particular phones and components. Specifically, the company will primarily focus on addressing two specific issues: System UI unresponsiveness and front camera malfunction on the Redmi Note 10 Pro and Note 10 Pro Max. For the Poco X3 Pro, Xiaomi will specifically address the power-on fault.
While the warranty extension announcement has only come through Xiaomi India’s Discord, it appears that the company may soon release an official confirmation on it through its social media channels like Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram, apart from its official website, for a wider reach.

* WWDC 2023 is set to begin on June 5. * Apple to take trade-ins for M2 MacBook Air and M2 MacBook Pro. * Mac Studio trade-in does not mean a successor is coming.
We are just a week away from Apple’s annual developer conference WWDC. It is set to kick off on June 5 at Apple Park in California.
It is the event where we will see the tech giant unveil its first-ever mixed-reality headset and new MacBook models alongside new software like iOS 17, iPadOS 17, macOS 14, and watchOS 10.
But these are not the only things Apple has planned for the event as a new leak suggests it will also expand its trade-in program to cover more devices.
M2 MacBook Air, M2 MacBook Pro Trade-in Details (Rumored)
According to a Bloomberg report by Mark Gurman, Apple will start accepting trade-ins for the M2 MacBook Air, M2 MacBook Pro, and the Mac Studio on June 5. As you may have noticed, this is the same day WWDC 2023 is scheduled to get started which means the announcement will probably take place at the event.
It means anyone interested in buying the new MacBookstipped to get official next week should be able to do so through the trade-in program.
In other words, an M2 MacBook Airor Pro owner will be able to trade his machine in exchange for the newer models. Apple will assess the condition of the device and offer a trade-in value that will get deducted from the pricing of the new MacBook model they want to buy.
However, as mentioned by Twitter user Parker Ortolani, Apple is known to accept products for trade-ins even when it has not launched a new model. For example, the iPad mini (6th gen) is available for trade-in despite not having a successor yet.
As for what to expect at WWDC 2023, the biggest attraction at this year’s keynote will undoubtedly be the augmented reality headset. It will be the first time in a long time for Apple that it will venture into a completely new product category.
It is said to run on the new xrOS operating system and will have a software development kit for developers.
Apple is tipped to release new Macs at WWDC with processors in the same lineup of M2s. And as it happens every year, new operating system versions will be showcased which will be iOS 17, iPadOS 17, macOS 14, and watchOS 10 this year.
Gurman: Apple to Begin Accepting Trade-Ins for Three New Mac Models on Day of WWDC Keynote
Apple will begin accepting trade-ins of three new Mac models on June 5, the day of Apple’sWWDC 2023 keynote event, according to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman.
In a tweet shared earlier today, Gurman said that the “Mac Studio, 13-inch M2 MacBook Air, and 13-inch M2 MacBook Pro, will become eligible for trade-in with Apple on Monday, June 5. Gurman is expecting new Mac hardware to be unveiled during Apple’s keynote on June 5, including an all-new 15-inch MacBook Air model. “Read into that as you will,” he added.
Apple introduced the Mac Studio in May 2022, offering M1 Max and M1 Ultra chip configurations. Despite the launch of a range of Macs with the M2, M2 Pro, and M2 Max chips, Apple has not yet refreshed the Mac Studio.
Gurman believes that two new Mac Studio models are in the works, but is unsure of when they will launch.
He has previously cast doubt over the possibility of update being announced at WWDC, suggesting that Apple is more likely to wait until the M3 generation to update the Mac Studio as to avoid cannibalizing the Apple silicon Mac Pro.
Even so, updated Mac Studio models with M2 Maxand M2 Ultra chipoptions are not out of the question for WWDC.
13-inch MacBook Air and MacBook Pro models with the M3 chip are also rumored to be in development, but the first M3 Macs are not expected to launch until toward the end of the year.
As such, Gurman’s latest information about new Mac trade-ins does not necessarily that indicate direct successors for all of the aforementioned devices are on the immediate horizon.
Apple hints at new Macs at WWDC with trade-in program expansion
We’re just a week away from WWDC 2023, where Apple will announce iOS 17, its new Reality Pro headset, and more.
According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple is prepping a behind-the-scenes change that further hints at its plans to unveil new Macs at the event next week…
In a tweet on Saturday, Gurman revealed that Apple will start accepting trade-ins for several new Macs starting on June 5, the same day as the WWDC keynote is set to take place.
On June 5, Apple will update its trade-in websiteto include the Mac Studio, 13-inch M2 MacBook Air and 13-inch M2 MacBook Pro.
This means that owners of those Macs will soon be able to trade in their existing Mac for credit towards a new one. M2 MacBook Air users could, for example, trade in their 13-inch machine toward the 15-inch MacBook Air that Apple is rumored to announce at WWDC. The same goes for 13-inch M2 MacBook Pro users.
As noted by Parker Ortolani on Twitter, however, there have been instances of Apple accepting trade-ins for a product even though there’s no direct successor to that product available.
This is likely the case with the Mac Studio. We aren’t expecting Apple to announce a new Mac Studio at WWDC this year. The Mac Studio, however, is powered by Apple’s previous-generation M1 chips, so this will allow customers to trade in towards an M2-powered machine like a 14-inch or 16-inch MacBook Pro or Mac mini.

Ans) Xiaomi is already working on its next Xiaomi 14 series. Many renders and reports are already revealing the alleged specs of the series. However now, A new leak has just surfaced which has hinted at some of the key specifications of the upcoming Xiaomi 14 Pro model. The company’s 14 series will be its next generation of flagship of smartphones that will launch around the end of this year.
Xiaomi itself has not revealed any information regarding the series yet. However, the latest leak from Digital Chat Station hints at some of its key specs. The tipster shared the information on Weibo that reveals some of the notable details of the upcoming flagship phone. Reportedly, the Xiaomi 14 Pro will feature the SM8650 chip.
In other words, it is basically Qualcomm’s next-gen Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. Furthermore, the tipster adds that the device will come with a massive 5,000mAh battery pack and will apparently bring support for 50W wireless fast charging. However, the leak also reveals that the device will bring two different wired fast charging rates, including a 90W and 120W.
According to some previous reports, the Xiaomi 14 Pro will arrive with a notable upgrade on its camera module, with the inclusion of the WLG High-Lens cameras. In terms of design, the Xiaomi 14 Pro will arrive in two versions, with a flat display and a curved display variant. So, it is possible that the two versions could support the two different fast charging speeds.
2) XIAOMI 14 PRO TO BRING A 5000MAH BATTERY WITH 120W CHARGING.Details?
Ans) The Xiaomi 13 series may be relatively new to our ears, especially for those in Europe and other global markets. But in this constantly evolving tech world, we can’t stop the spread of the first Xiaomi 14 Pro leaks and rumors. Today, there is a new leak about the rumored Xiaomi 14 Pro, this time from the tipster Digital Chat Station.
According to Xiaomi, we won’t have a mid-year upgrade for the flagship lineup. In other words, the company will not launch a Xiaomi 13S series as it did in the past years. For that reason, we expect rumors on the Xiaomi 14 series to appear earlier than usual. As the company’s most important lineup of smartphones, it’s natural to see expectations rising for these next flagship devices.
The Chinese tipster took to Weibo to share some of the possible specs coming with the Xiaomi 14 Pro. Since the phone’s alleged release is still several months away, take these details with a grain of salt. In any case, the tipster has a solid track record when it comes to leaks. He was one of the most accurately revealed the Xiaomi 13 series details prior to its release. So he has built a solid reputation in the past two years. Now, DCS brings details about the upcoming smartphone’s processor, battery, and more on Chinese social media.
3) Xiaomi 14 Pro – New Details Have Been Tipped?
Ans) If we go for Xiaomi’s past releases, we can expect the Xiaomi 14 and 14 Pro to launch around December. The phones are expected to be among the first to feature the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, which the tipster confirms will be at the core of the Xiaomi 14 Pro.
Besides the new chipset, the tipster confirms the charging and battery details of the phone. This particular info is a bit intriguing.
As per DCS, the phone will pack a 5,000 mAh battery. The intriguing part is that he points to 90W/120W fast charging. He does not clarify why two distinct charging speeds have been tipped. To recall, the Xiaomi 13 has 90W charging, and the Xiaomi 13 Pro brings 120W charging. So what is the point here?
There is some speculation rising around the launch of two Xiaomi 14 Pro variants. One may sport a flat display and another one would bring a curved panel. This is still a rumor, but if true, then the charging could be different between these variants. In any case, both would bring 50W wireless charging which has been a norm for Xiaomi phones.
The Xiaomi 14 Pro is also rumored to bring a Quad HD+ display. The panel will likely be made on OLED and will support a high refresh rate.
Improved cameras and Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra design
The Xiaomi 14 Pro is also rumored to come with upgraded cameras and WLG High-Lens sensors. The Leica tuning will remain as the icing on the cake. There is also speculation on a new periscope zoom camera. Worth noting, that we may also see a new design language.
Xiaomi’s Design Director of the Industrial Design Department, Wei Xu, recently said that the Xiaomi 14 Pro will bring a design similar to the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra. To recall, the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra was one of the most interesting designs in the series.
The device brought a unique rear display along with the camera. It could be used as a viewfinder. Unfortunately, that design was ditched in the Xiaomi 12S Ultra and Xiaomi 13 Ultra. We are curious to see if it’s really coming with the next generation.

Ans) vivo Singapore has quietly revealed the global version of the Y78 – we say “global” because it differs quite a bit from the Y78 that launched in China earlier this month. Note that the chipset limits video recording to 1080p @ 30fps, just like it does on the Y78+. Anyway, the phone runs FuntouchOS 13/Android 13 out of the box.
The Y78 runs on a 5,000mAh battery with 44W fast charging, just like its namesakes. The phone ships with an 11V/4A charger and a USB-C cable in the box, plus (at least in Singapore) a basic case and a pre-applied screen protector.

Ans) Vivo tested some of its smartphones on Geekbench. After a benchmark run by the vivo’s iQOO Neo 7 Pro, a Vivo-branded phone – Vivo S17 – was spotted on the benchmarking website. As expected, Geekbench reveals some of the key specifications coming with the smartphone. The newly-spotted phone boasts the Vivo V2283 model number and has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G+ in tow.
Vivo S17 passes by Geekbench
The alleged Vivo S17 was listed on Geekbench with the “Lahaina” codename. Judging by the CPU specs and the Adreno 642L GPU, it’s easy to confirm this as the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778+. It’s a powerful mid-range chipset with 4 x ARM Cortex-A78 cores and a GPU that is capable of handling demanding games without issues. Interestingly, the benchmark also confirms a generous amount of RAM – about 12 GB. Finally, the phone runs Android 13 OS, which means Funtouch OS 13 for global markets and OriginOS 3 for China.
S17 Pro camera details have been tipped

It will also bring two front-facing LED flashes that fit on the phone’s top bezel. These will light up when you wish to take selfies in dark environments. It’s not surprising to see a 50 MP front-facing camera on the Vivo S17. After all, this lineup has a recurring story of super-capable selfie cameras. We also expect this camera to bring a wide field of view to compensate for the lack of an ultrawide camera. The teasers also suggest that the portrait shooter is a 2x telephoto camera. Additionally, the phone is equipped with some sort of “super-sensing spectral sensor” that should allow for better color rendition. Unfortunately, Vivo is yet to give further details that explain this technology.
The Vivo S17 and S17 Pro will hit the Chinese market on May 31. The Vivo S17 and Pro should reach other markets at some point as the Vivo V28 and V28 Pro, respectively. These new smartphones are Vivo’s latest approach to conquering the premium mid-range market. As the teasers already suggest, the focus of the S and V series will remain on the camera department. The Vivo S17 Pro was spotted a few days ago on the Google Play console.

3) OnePlus Nord N30 5G spotted on GeekBench running Snapdragon 695.Details?
Ans) The OnePlus Nord family is growing every year to the point where we’re not exactly sure which model slots where. The latest addition to that party is the OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite. The phone launched internationally last month, but now there are indications that it might come to the States under a different name.
The information comes in the form of a GeekBench listing, revealing the model number (CPH2513) and some of the hardware of the device. This model number ties up to a previous leak in the Google Play Console, showing the name associated with it – OnePlus Nord N30 5G.
Thanks to that string of events, we now know most of the specs of the upcoming phone, and it sure looks like a rebranded Nord CE 3 Lite. The same octa-core Snapdragon 695 powers both phones (which is a bit of a shame, it’s an old chipset and it doesn’t support 4K), and both phones feature 8GB of RAM.
We’re not sure whether we’re talking about the same phone here, but if we are, then we can anticipate a 6.72-inch 1080×2400 120 Hz LCD touchscreen, a triple rear camera system (108 MP main, 2 MP macro, 2 MP depth), a 16 MP selfie snapper, and a 5,000 mAh battery with support for 67W wired charging.
The European version of the OnePlus Nord CE 3 retails for around 300 euros, so we can expect the rebranded OnePlus Nord N30 5G to land at around $300 when it comes to US soil.
4) OnePlus Nord N30 5G runs Geekbench with Snapdragon 695 SoC on board . Detailed Specifications?
Ans) The OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite has been released last month, and we’ve since heard that it would at some point land in the US under a different name – Nord N30 5G. The version with this name has, in fact, already been spotted in the Google Play Console, so the launch is definitely near. That assumption has been further cemented today by the fact that the Nord N30 5G has been spotted in the Geekbench database, with the model number CPH2513.
As you can see, the prototype which ran the benchmark managed a single-core score of 888 and a multi-core score of 2,076. It’s powered by the Snapdragon 695 SoC, just like the Nord CE 3 Lite, and it runs Android 13 too. The unit that got benchmarked had 8GB of RAM, and guess what – that’s the exact amount the Nord CE 3 Lite has!
We’re hoping that the Nord N30 5G gets official soon. If it’s a straight-up rebrand and nothing more, then expect it to have a 6.72-inch 1080×2400 120 Hz LCD touchscreen, a triple rear camera system (108 MP main, 2 MP macro, 2 MP depth), a 16 MP selfie snapper, and a 5,000 mAh battery with support for 67W wired charging.
