But what if there are ways you can actually unlock disabled iPhone without a computer? Don’t worry, we have found a way couple of ways and here’s a detailed step-by-step process of how you can unlock your device without needing a computer.

When your iPhone is disabled, you don’t usually have to directly connect to iTunes via a computer. iPhone usually provides few chances for the user to remember the correct password and try again after “X” minutes to unlock the iPhone.

For example, for every 5 wrong passcode attempts, iPhone gets disabled for 1 minute and you can re-try entering the correct passcode to unlock the device after 1 minute. Similarly, after every 7 wrong passcode attempts, iPhone gets disabled for 5 minutes giving a chance of entering the correct password after 5 minutes.

During this time period, the iPhone remains disabled and it is only when you can’t enter the correct passcode after time-lapse that the prompt to connect to iTunes is displayed.

Method 1. How to Unlock an iPhone That’s Disabled Without Computer using iCloud Find My iPhone?

Open your browser, and go to iCloud.com
Log into the Apple ID associated with your disabled iPhone
Once you enter Account Settings, Click on the “Find iPhone” option
Enter your Apple ID passcode > click on “All Devices” and Select your iPhone name.
Choose the “Erase iPhone” option from the three options visible.

Once you select this “Erase iPhone” option for the disabled iPhone, all your data from that device will be deleted including the passcode and your iPhone will be like a new iPhone. You can then set your passcode again and unlock your device this way.

Also, you don’t have to worry about all the other data on your iPhone because you can use the “Restore from iCloud Back up” option to get your old data back.

There is another way to unlock disabled iPhone without a computer but for that method to work you need another Apple device around. If you have an Apple device, an iPhone or an iPad around, you can log in to the device with your disabled iPhone Apple ID.

Once logged in, you can use its “Find My App” to locate your iPhone and go to the “Me” section and “Erase the Device” from there. Once erased, you can reset your credentials and unlock the disabled iPhone.

The Game Awards 2022 have been announced this week in a prestigious ceremony hosted by Geoff Keighley and held at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, US. Amongst the biggest winner stood tall Elden Ring and God of War Ragnarok.

Elden Ring bagged the prestigious Game of the Year award apart from collecting Best Game Direction, Best Art Direction and Best Role Playing awards. God of War Ragnarok, on the other hand, won the highest number of 10 out of a total of 32 awards. Other popular games such as Stray, Final Fantasy 14 Online, and Bayonetta 3 have also received awards in multiple categories.

Revealing the Game of The Year “Elden Ring”, The Game Awards 2022 official Twitter handle @thegameawards tweeted a video clip from the award night. Tecno has unveiled a variant of Phantom X2 Pro in Mars Orange colour that the brand is claiming as the world’s first renewable fibre back cover made up of more than 50 recycled materials and 100% renewable materials. However, the dimensions specifics 6.4 x 2.98 x 0.33 is a little different from Xiaomi 12 Pro. Whatsapp has recently rolled out the companion mode under its WhatsApp beta for the Android 2.22.21.6 update. The companion mode enables the user to link the same number and existing WhatsApp account to other Android devices.

It was tipped that the meta-owned company is also planning to roll out the same feature for smartphones in the near future. Currently, the trial rounds are running for the companion mode for mobile phones and the feature is available for some beta users.

What is the companion Mode feature of WhatsApp?

After being almost a consummate chatting platform, this meta-owned company believed something is missing and deserved an addition that derived the new feature that will address ‘frequent users’ concern with not being able to take in use the existing account on several devices.

How to enable Companion Mode in the beta version

On your secondary device, Go to the WhatsApp application. View and scroll to the settings option to see the ‘Link Device’ button. If the option appears on the screen you can easily operate on another device with the existing account.

According to a new report published in the peer-reviewed journal named Addiction Research & Theory, gamers who purchase “Loot Boxes” are twice more likely to get into gambling and online betting. The report findings are based on research conducted on over 1600 adults in Canada to examine the hypothesis psychological link between loot boxes and gambling.

Loot Boxes, also known as Treasure Boxes, are specifically designed surprise packages that entice gamers to purchase using real money and get virtual gaming items or features in return.

Gamers who purchase “Loot Boxes” are twice more likely to get into gambling, says a recent study.
The research was conducted on over 1600 adults in Canada.

The researchers have further called for dedicated further research on the advantages of including features that could minimize harm.

Some of the online gaming platforms have already added such features into their systems where players purchasing Loot boxes are informed about the disadvantages of gambling.

While referring to the report findings, Sophie Coelho, a PhD student at York University, Toronto said, “Findings indicate that loot box purchasing represents an important marker of risk for gambling and problem gambling among people who play video games.

The research evaluated 1,189 students from five Canadian institutions and 499 gamers from various online platforms on their previous year’s loot box purchase behaviour.
