The upcoming Xiaomi Band 8 has been spotted on the NRRA certification website by Simranpal Singh. The Xiaomi Band 8 live images have been published as a part of the certification listing.

The live images reveal the overall design of the upcoming Xiaomi Band 8. The Xiaomi Band 8, similar to its predecessor, will feature a capsule-like design.

However, the biggest change that can be seen is the strap design. The upcoming Xiaomi Band 8 will feature a two-piece detachable strap, similar to what we have seen on Xiaomi Band 7 Pro and several other Fitbit fitness trackers.

The Xiaomi Band 8 with the model number M2239B1 made an appearance on Korea’s NRRA database. The listing reveals support for Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity.

The upcoming fitness tracker has already been spotted on TDRA certification website.

The latest certification listing for the Xiaomi Band 8 doesn’t reveal anything in the terms of specifications.

However, previous leaks suggest that the Xiaomi Band 8 will feature a bigger display compared to its predecessor.

We can also expect the upcoming Xiaomi fitness tracker to appear on other certification websites in the coming weeks.

Xiaomi Smart Band 8 Spotted on NRRA Database

The live pictures of the Xiaomi Smart Band 8 exhibit its complete design. Similar to its forerunner, the Xiaomi Smart Band 8 will possess a rounded shape. Nevertheless, there is an evident deviation in the design of the band.

At the back, we can discern two pads coated with rubber (as it appears) and sensors that have undergone slight modifications when compared to the Xiaomi Smart Band 7.

Additionally, the pictures reveal the presence of hooks for straps, and the size appears to be similar to its predecessor.

Moreover, the forthcoming Xiaomi Smart Band 8 will present a two-part separable strap that resembles the one on the Xiaomi Band 7 Pro.

The Xiaomi Band 8, identified by model number M2239B1, has surfaced on the NRRA database in Korea, confirming its compatibility with Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity. Additionally, the wearable has been detected on the TDRA certification website.

Although the certification listing has not divulged any particulars about its features, earlier reports indicate that the Xiaomi Smart Band 8 will sport a larger screen than its forerunner.

Much like the predecessor- the Xiaomi Smart Band 7 and Smart Band 7 Pro, the successor will also have a rounded design but with a slightly bigger screen to accommodate more text.

The back of the fitness tracker seems to have two rubber-coated pads and the sensors have also undergone some modifications, mostly in terms of placements.

We can also spot two hooks on either side for holding the strap. Historically, all Xiaomi Smart Bands have shipped with a single strap loop (except Smart Band 7 Pro), with the tracker sitting in the middle.

Moving on, the Xiaomi Smart Band 8 will have Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity and should be compatible with both iOS and Android platforms.

We believe the fitness tracker will have a heart rate sensor, SpO2 monitoring, a step counter, and the ability to keep tabs on sleeping habits. However, take the news with a grain of salt as nothing is certain at the moment.

iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus powered by Apple A15 Bionic SoCs went official during the company’s ‘Far out’ event in September last year.

Now, a fresh leak suggests that the Cupertino giant is gearing up to unveil the handsets in a new Yellow finish.

Apple’s PR team is reportedly planning a product briefing next week and it is speculated to announce a new iPhone colour option during the event.

The iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus are currently available in Blue, Midnight, Purple, Starlight, and Red shades.

The iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus may soon come in a new colour for Apple fans. The tech giant intends to release the upcoming models in yellow this spring, according to a recent Weibo post shared by the Japanese blog MacOtakara.

To increase sales and gain media attention, Apple frequently adds new colour options in the middle of a product cycle.

In April 2021, the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini were offered in a Purple colourway, following that we saw the company’s introduction of new Green colour for the iPhone 13 series last year.

While the iPhone 14 Pro models are available in Deep Purple, Gold, Silver, and Space Black colours, the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus (review) currently come in Blue, Purple, Midnight (Black), Starlight (White/Silver), and Product Red colour options.

It’s not clear if Apple will decide to add a new colour for the Pro models or if the yellow colour option will be available for them. While some fans might be thrilled about a potential yellow iPhone 14 Pro, others may believe that the vivid colour is better suited only for non-Pro models.

According to information obtained by MacRumors from its sources, Apple is preparing some sort of briefing for next week, which lends a little more credence to the announcement of a new colour.

Obviously, there were no details available for the event, but it will coincide fairly well with Apple’s release of Alpine green and Green colourways for spring 2022 from a year
ago.

Apparently, this is not the only colour change happening, for their iPhone 15 Pro, Apple has been rumoured to be including a new deeper red colour option that is unlike the bright “Product Red” colour of previous models.

If Apple is indeed launching a new yellow colour it’ll be the first time we’ve seen that option since the iPhone 11 in 2019. The most famous of yellow iPhones is of course the iPhone XR. It’s to be noted that we don’t know what kind of yellow Apple has planned this time around which means it could be either a muted hue or something much more vibrant.

If a new iPhone colour is in the works it’s possible that we could also see new cases and other accessories arrive at the same time, but we will find out more next week regardless. Either the rumoured product news is another iPhone colour, or it’s something else entirely.

What about the iPhone 14 Pro?

It’s true that few people will be suddenly motivated to buy an iPhone thanks to a new color – iPhone 14 cases will likely hide the design, after all.

But sprucing up the lineup is still helpful in generating attention for a handset six months into its life, after the initial sheen has worn off a bit.

But if it’s true that the iPhone 14 Pro series won’t be getting a new shade to match, that’s perhaps an indication of the contrasting fortunes of Apple’s two handset tiers.

According to display analyst Ross Young, in November the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14
Pro Max handsets accounted for 64% of iPhone 14 units sold – up from 51% of the iPhone 13 era split. Or to put it another way, they only accounted for 36% of sales this time around, as opposed to 49% last time around.

Perhaps that’s unsurprising given how limited an upgrade the iPhone 14 is – as I’ve written before, it makes sense to just buy a discounted iPhone 13 Pro instead.

In short, the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max handsets likely don’t need any extra sales help.
But whether a yellow shade will give the iPhone 14 Plus a much-needed boost remains to be seen.

Motorola Moto G Stylus (2023) has reportedly been spotted on Geekbench listing and may soon make its debut.

It will be launched as the latest smartphone from the company which gets stylus support.
The benchmark listing hints that the Moto G Stylus (2023) could run on Android 13. It has been mentioned to get 3.56GB RAM onboard, which translates to 4GB RAM on paper.

An earlier render leak suggested that the upcoming smartphone might include a USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

A recent Geekbench listing,first spotted by GSMArena has certified the Motorola Moto G Stylus (2023) with single-core score of 348 and multi-core score of 1329.

The certification site reveals the smartphone to get a MediaTek’s octa-core processor with six cores clocked at 1.80GHz and two cores at 2GHz.

According to the details shared, the smartphone could pack a Helio G85 or G88 SoC.

Meanwhile, a previous design render leak reported that the Moto G Stylus (2023) is expected to feature a flat screen. For optics, the selfie camera could be housed in a centrally punched hole-punch camera slot on the display.

On the other hand, the rear camera unit on the Moto G Stylus (2023) could make room for dual sensors, led by a 50-megapixel primary lens with an f/1.8 aperture. Apart from this, no other details regarding the specifications of the smartphone have been suggested yet.

The smartphone could be a successor to the Moto G Stylus was launched in February 2022.

Want to pick up the iPhone 14 Pro Max, but worried about the steep price tag? Well, Aliexpress always has some alternatives for you.

Exhibit A: the I14 Pro Max, an iPhone 14 Pro Max clone, which has been listed on the Chinese e-commerce platform for a fraction of what the original goes for.

Available for purchase globally, the 114 Pro Max has two listings (1,2) on Aliexpress (via Gizmochina) that reveal a design that looks eerily similar to the ultra-premium iPhone 14 Pro Max by Apple.

In certain user review photos, the back of the smartphone has been lifted off from the Apple flagship with a similar, albeit smaller, triple rear camera setup.

However, with a price tag of $89.69 (approx Rs 7,600) for the 2GB RAM variant and $126 (Rs 10,800 roughly) for the 6GB RAM model, it is probably futile to be disappointed.

The duplicate of the iPhone 14 Pro Max is called the i14 Pro Max (well, an obvious choice!) and is now listed on AliExpress for anyone to purchase.

From a far-off look, the phone is the exact replica of the 14 Pro Max and it would be hard to differentiate. To recall, there was another clone that showed up on the 1688 website right after the iphone 14 series was launched.

The i14 Pro Max has the same flat-edge design with a glass-like and premium finish. The back is seen with a huge hump with the cameras arranged in a triangle (although, only two work).

The major difference, however, is the small ‘Dynamic Island,” which looks like a simple elongated punch-hole without any functionality.

Plus, green, light purple, and grey colors along with the lack of the Apple logo will easily help you figure out the truth.

There are gold and silver colors and this fully resembles the iPhone 14 Pro Max.

And, did we tell you that this iPhone 14 Pro Max clone runs Android? Yeah, I mean there is no other option given Apple does not make available its iOS for open source boot loading.

That said, the specifications listed on Aliexpress include a full-HD+ 6.5-inch AMOLED (!!) display with a 95 percent screen-to-body ratio and 120Hz refresh rate that, pardon us, we find really hard to swallow at that price.

Furthermore, the smartphone is claimed to come with face unlock, a MediaTek MTK6753 processor, 6GB RAM, 128 GB storage, 2800mAh battery, 8+16MP cameras, and dual SIM card support.

Interestingly, the face unlock technology on the front looks narrower than even the Dynamic Island on the iPhone 14 Pro Max, which makes us wonder whether this seller on Aliexpress really did figure out a way to refine it further (not).

Just to be clear, we never condone these kinds of clones and advise you to stay away from such listings. Honestly, it is a matter of time before these clones are delisted from Aliexpress, and better to stay wary and be sorry after you repent such a purchase.

iPhone 14 Pro Max clones are sold with Apple’s logo, iOS interface, and more

A Chinese YouTuber @Amazing Unboxing shared two iPhone 14 Pro Max clones in his latest video which were bought from the local market. The clone came in the iPhone 13 Pro Max box; a thin black box, with packing stickers and information.

The iPhone 14 Pro Max clone had the same white protective cover on the screen and came with a charging cable and instruction manual and stickers. The UI of the clone is the same as iOS with widgets and apps on the Home Screen, search interface, and other features.

On the back, the smartphone has Apple’s logo. Although the rear camera module is larger, the lenses give the clone away. The lenses have a larger white part which is not the same as iPhone 12 Pro or later Pro model. The camera quality is oka-ish but does not focus and zoom in or out.

However, it appears that the clone smartphone does not have FaceID, and the Youtuber did not test the selfie camera. Maybe the notch is decorative and not functional. He did not share the price of the clone but in the description, he mentions that clones for the entire iPhone 14 series are available.

The latest addition to Vivo V-Series smartphones is the elegant Vivo V27 Pro. Introduced as a successor to the previous V-series model, the Vivo V27 Pro price in India is starting from Rs 37,999.

Vivo V27 Pro comes with a 6.78 inches 3D curved AMOLED display, MediaTek Dimensity 8200 MT6896Z chipset, a Triple Camera model on the backside including a 50MP primary camera, a 50MP Front Camera, 8GB RAM, 4500mAh Fast Charging enabled battery and Android v12 OS.

Vivo, retaining the uniqueness of its previous V-Series smartphones, has continued with the stylish colour-changing glass back panels for Vivo V27 Pro as well.

The smartphones are currently available in two colour variants, Magic Blue and Nobel Black.

Scheduled to go on sale from 23 March 2023, Vivo V27 Pro is available for pre-booking starting 1st March 2023 across offline and online stores.

We get the Vivo V27 Pro in a stylish rectangle silver colour cover box with typical Vivo branding on the top.

As soon as we open the packaging box, we get the Vivo V27 Pro device neatly placed on top. Further, inside the box, we get a transparent TPU case, a quick start guide, different brand documentation, an 80W flash charge adapter, an 8A-rated USB-A-to-C cable and a stylish SIM ejecting tool.

It is important to note that although we get an 80W charger inside the box with Vivo V27 Pro, the smartphone however only supports 66W charging.

Another aspect instantly noticeable is that the smartphone comes with a pre-applied thin screen protective film to keep the device safe until a proper screen guard is applied.

The Vivo V27 Pro sports a classy appearance with minimalist aesthetics and a curved display design.

The smartphone has a slim, lightweight, smooth design that is enhanced by its one-piece narrow frame. V27 Pro’s sleek body is merely 2.3 mm thin and complemented with the curved display, the smartphone glides in hands smoothly.

The smartphone is available in two colour variants, Magic Blue and Nobel Black.

The interesting design aspect that immediately catches our attention when we hold Vivo V27 Pro in our hands is the colour-changing back panel.

The Magic Blue colour variant back panel looks uber cool when it changes colour from light to dark blue in different light conditions and angles. Similarly, the Noble Black colour variant back panel changes its colour from the starry night sky to flickering light grey.

Moreover, the texture of the glass-build back panel gives a smooth and premium feel. The smartphone, further, has a set of speakers at the bottom along with a Type C port and a SIM tray. The volume rockers are on the right side with the power button next to them.

The design of Vivo V27 Pro also stands out because of its fluid camera layout that gives a sleek, attractive overall look to the smartphone.

The display of the Vivo V27 Pro is definitely one of the major highlights of the smartphone. The 6.78 inches 3D curved AMOLED display comes with a 120Hz refresh rate and 20:9 aspect ratio.

This capacitive touchscreen with multi-touch functionality provides a highly premium viewing experience. Moreover, the 60° curvature of the front ensures a perfectly comfortable grip on the hands.

However, many users may find the large display size a bit of a problem in a one-hand operation.

This is one of the high-end chipsets in the market today and with a clock speed of 3.1GHz and an ARM Mali-G610 MC6 GPU, the performance of Vivo V27 Pro is extremely satisfying.

The chipset has been combined with 8GB / 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB / 256GB UFS 3.1 storage for optimum performance.

The non-expandable storage is definitely a downer even though the smartphone supports up to 8GB of virtual RAM to cater for some storage requirements when needed.

Vivo V27 Pro is the 2nd smartphone after iQ00 Neo 7 to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chipset. The chipset has good performance.

It is based on 4nm manufacturing technology with 8 cores, out of which one Arm Cortex A78 core has a clock speed of 3.1GHz, 3 Arm Cortex A78 cores have a clock speed of 3.OGHz and the rest of the 4 Arm Cortex A55 cores have a clock speed of 2.0GHz.

Vivo V27 Pro comes with a 4,600mAh battery support, which as per the brand’s claim can comfortably last for a day on average use.

On the PCMark battery test, V27 Pro scored well over 15 hours. Compared to several other smartphones in the category, this appears to be quite impressive.

The smartphone, although comes with a bundled 80W adapter, supports 66W fast flash charge. As per the brand’s claim, it would take a little less than an hour to fully charge the smartphone from 0 to 100 per cent and 19 minutes to move from 1 to 50 per cent.

The battery of Vivo V27 Pro also has a 2x Battery Lifespan, 24-Dimension Security Protection, and a Vivo Smart Charging Engine.

Recently, Vivo’s sub-brand iqoo has also launched a smartphone with the same chipset, but the benchmark scores of Vivo V27 Pro are better. This means you get better performance with Vivo V27 Pro 5G.

The smartphone comes with up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. It will be available in 3 storage variants, and it doesn’t have a micro SD card slot.

Coming to the software, the Vivo V27 Pro 5G runs Funtouch OS 13 based on Android 13. The device comes with a little bloatware but that can be deleted as per your needs.

Vivo has added some new features to the FunTouch OS this time. These include iManager, more options for video editing, and Material You coming with matching color schemes according to wallpapers.

The color of app icons can also be changed along with new options for battery privacy, personalization, and more.

Vivo V27 Pro Audio

Audio while calling is good as the speaker of the Vivo V27 Pro sounds loud. You can play music on it in one room and keep working nearby.

However, if you are someone who still likes to listen to music the old-fashioned way using wired headphones, you will not find a 3.5mm headphone jack on this one. You will either have to get a connector or use Bluetooth headphones.

The Vivo V27 Pro faces a direct comparison with the V25 Pro launched last year. And in overall specs, V27 Pro is definitely an upgraded better version.

V27 Pro comes with a bigger and better screen, an improved camera module, and a noticeable premium appearance. Performance-wise too, Vivo V27 Pro scores big and manages to provide an impressive premium smartphone experience.

The camera functionality complements the smartphone well and will prove to be something that photo enthusiasts will surely appreciate. Although, the lack of any ingress protection is a major drawback.
