ASUS ROG Phone 5s, ROG Phone 5s Pro to be launched on February 15

Taiwan-based multinational computer hardware and consumer electronics company ASUS’s Indian arm has announced launch date for Asus ROG Phone 5s and Asus ROG Phone 5s Pro. According to the latest update, the phone will be launched in India on February 15 at 12 pm through a virtual event. The launch event will be livestreamed on the company’s YouTube channel. Any further information about the phone is yet to be revealed.

The smartphones, unveiled in August 2021, has Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+ SoC. Both the smartphones feature 6.78-inch Samsung AMOLED E4 displays with 144Hz refresh rate.

ROG Phone 5s comes with up to 18GB LPDDR5 RAM while the Pro model comes in 18GB LPDDR5 RAM configuration.

Airtel launches Xstream Premium subscription at Rs 149

Airtel has launched a new service known as Xstream Premium. Users will be able to subscribe to 15 different OTT services through this new portal. The new subscription would cover both Indian and international OTT entertainment sites. The monthly fee for the service is Rs 149. An annual subscription is available for Rs 1,499 via Airtel. These are only introductory prices, according to the firm. Airtel users will be the only ones who can use the new service.

Here’s a step by step guide on how you can change your Aadhar’s photo online, Check it out!

Step 1: Download the Aadhaar Enrolment Form from the UIDAI website and download the form.

Step 2: Fill all the required details and submit it to your nearest Aadhar Enrollment Center.

Step 3: The UIDAI Executive will authenticate the information given by you and will capture a new photo.

Step 4: The service charge will cost you Rs 100 Plus GST.

Step 5: After paying the charge, you can collect the acknowledgement slip with the number of the update request (URN).

Furthermore, you can also track the progress of your service through UIDAI’s website. You only have to put the URN number in the tracking details and you will get all the required information about your update.

Some points to remember while booking an appointment-

  • – No documents required for the change of the photograph.
  • – No photo submission required as the Executive will take a fresh photo at the spot.
  • – The information upgradation will take up to 90 days.

Handset maker Infinix has joined hands with India’s largest telecom service provider Jio to conduct 5G trials for their upcoming future-ready Zero 5G smartphone which is set to be launched on February 14.

As a part of the virtual lab trial, the device was thoroughly tested through various scenarios to verify its capability and performance for delivering enhanced 5G end-user experiences.

According to Infinix, after undergoing rigorous lab trials, Zero 5G achieved stellar results in the downloading speed. The results further determined the promptness and capabilities of the smartphone in bringing an immersive and reliable 5G mobile experience to users.

Interestingly, the Infinix Zero 5G will be compatible with 13 major bands that are maximum in the price segment, including SA Band: – n1/n3/n5/n7/n8/n20/n28/n38/n40/n41/n77/n78/n79 and NSA: – n41/n77/n78/n79. The vast range of bands supported by the device promises improved connectivity and performance to the users.

Short video creators launch IndiaFightsCorona campaign to drive awareness on Covid-19 appropriate behavior

As the country is going through the merciless grip of the third wave of Covid-19, over 162 thousand of short video creators gathered on a short-video app Tiki and launched a campaign named IndiaFightsCorona with a series of hashtag challenges, such as #MaskUp and #CovidAwareness, which has gained over 903 million views to reiterate the importance of wearing a mask and following other Covid-19 appropriate behavior.

Aiming to pledge to take all safety measures and spread awareness among their followers for the public health cause, the creators on Tiki continue to launch more hashtags spontaneously. The #MaskUp hashtag, launched on January 6, 2022, has already generated 220 million views and the number does not cease to grow. Creators with various talents have been bringing to life the awareness and knowledge of Covid prevention in formats of infotainment, short drama, and even lip-sync while wearing a mask. In addition, a #CovidAwareness hashtag has also been crowded with talented creators and has generated 279 million views on Tiki, which underlines the impact of Covid and its different variations on the community and the need to stay alert.
