Elon Musk has been making some big changes ever since he took over Twitter. There have been some not-so-happy changes but one that will benefit users has begun.

Earlier this year in February, Musk announced that creators will be able to start earning money through ads on Twitter.

It looks like the payout has started for some creators.

Twitter has launched its ad-revenue-sharing program for creators, and eligible Blue subscribers have already started receiving payments.

Elon Musk first announced this initiative in February, but at the time, very few details were available about how it would work.

As per a tweet announcing the program, those eligible will receive a portion of the ad revenue generated from their posts, starting with replies.
Several high-profile users have reported receiving notifications about incoming deposits, claiming to a few thousands to ten thousand dollars.

These rewards are based on ads shown in replies to eligible users’ content.

The first round of payouts for creators will amount to $5 million, as per Musk, and will be cumulative from February from now on.

Twitter starts paying creators for ads

The monetisation system is a little different from other platforms though. Here, creators have to be subscribed to Twitter Blue to be eligible for the revenue sharing system.

Twitter Blue costs Rs 900 per month on mobile, and Rs 650 on the web. You can also get an annual subscription that costs Rs 6,800 per year. With Twitter Blue, you get the verified blue tick and other features.

How to join Twitter’s monetisation program?

* As mentioned above, you will need to be subscribed to Twitter Blue to join the monetisation program. In addition to being subscribed to Twitter Blue, you will also need to have at least 5 million impressions on posts in each of the last three months.
* At present, Twitter’s ad revenue sharing system is available only in countries where Stripe supports payouts. Twitter hasn’t clarified about countries where Stripe isn’t available.
* It will most likely partner with the payment services available in whichever country it wants to launch the monetisation program.

What’s the revenue sharing criteria for Twitter creators

According to the support post, the revenue-sharing system is only available for Twitter Blue or Verified Organizations subscribers who have generated at least five million post impressions in each of the past three months.

Additionally, users will be subjected to a human review and must follow the Creator Subscriptions policies before getting paid through a Stripe account.

Those who meet the requirements can apply for the program by going to the Monetization section in their account settings, and there will soon be an application process as it plans to expand eligibility to more creators.

There are certain limitations as well on which creators can earn money through its content monetization program.

Sexual content is not allowed to be monetized in accordance with Twitter’s standards. The monetization of content related to pyramid schemes, get-rich-quick schemes, violence, criminal activities, gambling, drugs, and alcohol is also prohibited. Additionally, if a creator attempts to monetize copyrighted content that they do not own, it is considered a violation.

The payouts come at a time when Twitter is facing challenges left and right. It has been sued for 500 million unpaid severance checks, and then Zuckerberg-owned Meta has been trying to dent Twitter’s declining traffic.

Twitter Blue subscribers can now start earning money through ads that come up in tweet replies. The company announced that creators will start getting payouts through shares from the company’s ad revenue that has been generated from tweet replies.

The South Korean brand had last launched the Galaxy S21 FE in 2021. Now, Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy S23 FE later this year.

The device has already appeared in several leaks and rumors till now. It has started bagging various certifications including 3C and a battery certification from South Korea.

The Galaxy S23 FE has now been spotted on Geekbench.

Samsung recently refreshed the Galaxy S21 FE in India with a new Snapdragon 888 SoC variant.

The fairly old phone got a faster and more power efficient chip compared to the Exynos 2100 SoC found in the original model launched back in January 2022.

Samsung might launch the Galaxy S23 FE as a successor to the S21 FE in various markets.

The company has not confirmed any details about the launch timeline. Meanwhile, details about the Galaxy S23 FE have surfaced online.

The US and global variants of the Galaxy S23 FE have been spotted on Geekbench. In addition to this, the support pages of the devices have gone live as well, further confirming their existence.

Samsung Galaxy S23 FE listed on Geekbench

For those unaware, last week the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE appeared on Geekbench with the model number SM-S711B.

Now, a new listing on the benchmarking platform with a different model number reveals new info.

The new particular variant of the Galaxy S23 FE has the model number SM-S711U1 which potentially suggests at the US and global variants of the device.

The listing reveals a motherboard codenamed taro and it comprises four cores clocked at 1.79GHz, three cores at 2.50GHz, and one core and 3GHz.

It has an Adreno 730 GPU onboard. The chipset details correspond to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1.

The new listing also mentions 8GB RAM onboard and Android 13 OS. In Geekbench’s single-core and multi-core test results, the device scores 1,549 and 3,718 points respectively.

Samsung Galaxy S23 FE Launch Soon

The Samsung Galaxy S23 FE will be a trimmed down version of the flagship S23 series launched earlier this year.
The phone might launch soon.

Ahead of the official debut, the US and global variants of the S23 FE have been spotted on Geekbench.

The US variant of the phone carries the model number SM-711U1 and draws power from a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC.

The SoC has a peak clock speed of 3.0GHz and comes with three performance cores clocked at 2.50GHz.

It also has four efficiency cores clocked at 1.79GHz. The US variant of the S23 FE has 8GB of RAM and runs Android 13 out of the box.

It will likely have One UI 5.1 on top.
The device also scored 1549 and 3718 points in Geekbench 6’s single-core and multi-core tests.

The Galaxy S23 FE global variant, on the other hand, has a different SoC. The device carries the model number SM-711B and features an SoC codenamed s5e9925, which is essentially the Exynos 2200 SoC.

The SoC has a peak clock speed of 2.8GHz and features three performance cores clocked at 2.5GHz. It also has four efficiency cores clocked at 1.82GHz.

The global variant has 8GB of RAM and also runs Android 13 out of the box. It is likely to have One UI 5.1 on top as well. The global variant of the S23 FE scored 1613 and 4049 points on Geekbench 6.

As mentioned above, support pages of the S23 FE have gone live as well. Therefore, we can expect the phone to launch in various regions very soon.

Recently, design renders of the Galaxy S23 FE had leaked online. The design renders revealed that the phone will look similar to the flagship S23 series and also come with a triple-camera setup on the back.

There will be a flat 6.4-inch display with thin bezels around it.
Also, the frame is slightly curved and has a the power and volume keys on the right edge.
The bottom edge houses the USB Type-C por t and the speaker grille.

Some other leaked details include a 50MP primary camera sensor, a 4500mAh battery and support for 25W fast charging.

The Samsung Galaxy S23 FE is expected to launch in a select few markets.
We already know that the device with model number SM-S711B will be powered by Exynos 2200.

It remains to be seen if Samsung will offer the S23 FE in two processor options or if they will differ based on region.

Infinix is said to announce a new GT series phone in India next month. Tipster Mukul Sharma claims on Twitter that the device is rumored to bear a striking resemblance to the recently launched Nothing Phone (2).

The Glyph Interface LED lights, which have captivated consumers on Nothing phones, could also feature in the design of Infinix’s new offering, as per the tipster.

Infinix’s new smartphone series will be called ‘GT’, according to a tweet by Mukul Sharma. A render of the upcoming device has also been posted on the Infinix Community XClub.

It shows what’s supposed to be the back design of the upcoming Infinix smartphone. The render shows that there are dual rear cameras aligned vertically on the left corner of the smartphone.

What stands out though is the strikingly similar design to the Nothing Phone (2). Just like the LED light strips on the Phone (2), the Infinix smartphone also has the same design outlined on it.

We can’t confirm if it is going to be LED lights on the Infinix phone as well but the design is too similar to not consider the possibility. Nothing CEO Carl Pei who replied to the tweet saying, “Time to get the lawyers ready! 😂”

In recent news, the Nothing Phone (2) has recently made its debut in India with a starting price of Rs 44,999 and the sale will take place on July 21.

But consumers can buy it at a discounted price. It will effectively be available for Rs 41,999 via Flipkart if you make payments using Axis Bank and HDFC Bank cards.

This basically means that users are getting a big discount of Rs 3,000, making the deal attractive.

The mentioned price is for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage model. The 12GB + 256GB variant of the new Nothing phone will cost you Rs 49,999, but the bank offer will down the price to Rs 46,999.

As for the upcoming Infinix phone, the company hasn’t made any official announcement yet. But according to the tipster, this smartphone is scheduled to launch in August. So we should start hearing about the upcoming phone very soon.

It also isn’t confirmed if the Infinix GT series will launch with one or more smartphones. The ‘GT’ branding is also familiar since Realme also has a GT smartphone series so that could draw some attention as well.

As for cameras, the device is said to come with triple cameras on the back with a 108MP main camera. The smartphone was spotted online with a 5,000mAh battery. Expect some sort of fast charger to be bundled with the phone.

It will likely boot on Android 13 OS out of the box. Interestingly, Infinix will offer ‘XOS for GT’ skin on top of Android, which will be a custom skin for GT phones.

Scheduled to go on sale starting 13 July 2023, Nothing Phone 2 price in India starts at ₹44,999 for the base variant.
In this blog, we are sharing a quick Nothing Phone 2 hands-on first impression taking a closer look at its specs, hardware design, Glyph features, Nothing OS 2.0 and new features.

Last year when the first Nothing Phone debuted, it promised something individualistic to a monotonous smartphone landscape.
Many were quick to call Nothing’s design approach gimmicky even though the hype it generated was palpable.

Phone 1 was eventually appreciated for being a solid and reliable Android handset. Now, after exactly a year, Nothing Phone 2 is officially out this week and amidst all the hype it is time to take a closer look.

Nothing as a brand has a vibe that is both glam and futuristic. Phone 2 is a much more refined and higher resolution version of Phone 1 that gives significant upgrades across the board.

During the live-streamed keynote, CEO Carl Pei promises that Phone 2 is going to be the real premium flagship device.

“With Phone 2, we deliver top-notch features while encouraging more intentional smartphone usage through hardware and software design innovation. A smartphone is a vital tool in our lives, but it has increasingly become a distracting force, making us less present and less creative,” said Pei during the live stream.

The new smartphone features a revamped Nothing OS 2.0, Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 Mobile Platform, a powerful 50MP dual rear camera, and a stunning 6.7-inch OLED display with LTPO.

The display comes with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1,600 nits of peak brightness. It has a 4,700mAh battery that supports wired and wireless charging. Phone 2 further incorporated up to 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of internal storage.

Phone 2 also features an enhanced Glyph Interface that has more LED segments to allow greater customizability and functionality. The Glyph Interface can now serve as a visual countdown, volume checker, timer, and progress tracker for third-party apps such as Uber or Zomato.

The OS 2.0 is based on Android 13. The brand has reworked the home and lock screen utility with widgets to access key functions without opening the apps. The Nothing OS 2.0 also feature a new monochrome layout and an option to remove the app label.

Nothing Phone 2 – Design and Build Quality

The Phone 2 presents a much more refined and premium design compared to its predecessor. The flagship version also gets a significant number of upgrades across the board that impresses both on paper and in hand.

Despite being slightly thicker on paper, the Phone 2 cleverly utilizes design elements that give it a perceived thinner profile when held in hand.

With a thickness of 8.5mm, the Phone 2 surpasses Phone 1’s 8.3mm measurement but achieves a visual effect through thoughtful design choices that make it appear thinner.

Contributing to the Phone 2’s perceived thinness is the reduction of the aluminium mid-frame on the sides.

By reducing it by 1mm, Nothing has managed to create an illusion of slenderness, resulting in a sleek and elegant feel when holding the device.

This attention to detail is commendable as it not only enhances the aesthetics but also contributes to an improved user experience.

The 3D pillow glass at the back curves around the edges and instantly makes the phone look premium to look at.

The transparent design aesthetic, that we have previously seen in Nothing Buds and Nothing Phone 1, has now been extended to the Type-C cable bundled with the Nothing Phone 2.

The Type-C cable has a transparent middle part with Nothing branding inside. The Nothing Phone peripherals now adopting a similar design establishes the brand’s individualistic approach to positioning itself in the market.

Nothing Phone 2 – The Glyph Interface

Undoubtedly the most hyped aspect of the Nothng phone is the Glyph Interface since the first time it was introduced before the launch of Phone 1. This time, with Phone 2, we are getting a better design and a more capable Glyph interface.

The enhanced Glyph Interface has more LED segments to allow greater customizability and functionality. The Glyph Interface can now serve as a visual countdown and progress tracker for ride or delivery services.

It also offers additional functionalities such as a volume checker, and timer. When receiving a notification from selected contacts or apps, the top-right LED segment will remain on until it has been addressed.

The Glyph interface in Phone 2 has been redesigned. The new interface now has an extra number of LED segments compared to Phone 1.

The upgrades in design give it the ability to assign personalized light and sound sequences to contacts and apps. When receiving a notification from them, the top-right LED segment will remain on until addressed.

Nothing Phone 2 – Camera Hardware

The Nothing Phone 2 will have a 50-megapixel dual camera setup on the rear. The primary lens has been upgraded to IMX890 from the previous IMX766 used in Phone 1.

The Ultra-Wide lens, on the other hand, is Samsung ISOCELL GN1. On the front, you get a 32-megapixel sensor for selfies and video calls. The front camera too has been upgraded to an IMX615, which is a 30 per cent larger sensor and can capture more light and field.

With Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chip enabling camera processing, the Phone 2 gets an 18-bit ISP that captures over 4,000 times the camera data than the Phone 1’s 14-bit predecessor.

The phone is bringing an advanced HDR to address the over-exposure of images when in direct sunlight. The advanced HDR breaks the image into 8 frames of different exposure and then stitches them back together to get the best results.

There is a significant upgrade here from the 3-frame break out that the usual Phone 1 HDR was capable of.

The Nothing Phone 2 seems to have also addressed the issues most camera face in capturing moving subjects. The brand is introducing Motion Capture 2.0 which intelligently detects moving objects to ensure distorting-free and noise-free final images.

It supports 4K recording at 60fps on the main rear camera. The main lens also has EIS (Electronic Image Stabilization) and OIS (Optical Image Stabilization). The front camera records at 1080p at 60fps.

Phone 2 will be equipped with the advanced Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, and feature Nothing OS 2.0 with a completely redesigned user interface.

8+ Gen 1 is a powerful processor for multitasking or gaming. It is definitely a significant upgrade enhance the overall performance of the Phone 2, making it capable of handling all types of tasks smoothly.

It operates on Nothing OS 2.0 based on Android 13. With an emphasis on functional customisation, Nothing OS 2.0 allows interactions with the smartphone to be more intentional and mindful.

The Nothing Phone price in India starts at Rs 44,999 for the base variant with 8GB RAM + 128 GB storage configuration.

Apart from this, Phone 2 will also be available in 12 GB RAM + 256 GB and 12 GB RAM + 521 GB storage variants, which are priced at Rs 49,999 and Rs 54,999 respectively.

Phone 2 will be available in two colour options, White and Dark Grey colour variants.

Scheduled to go on sale starting 21 July 2023 in India on Flipkart.com, Nothing Phone 2 is currently available for pre-booking on Nothing’s website.

After months of speculations, the CEO of Nothing has finally confirmed that the Nothing Phone 2 is coming out in the US.

And now, the wait is over for those waiting to get their hands on the phone as the official launch date for Redmi 12 has now been revealed by the brand.

Xiaomi India has confirmed the Redmi 12 launch date in the country. Along with the launch date, the company has also announced noted Bollywood actress Disha Patani as its style icon.

There is a dedicated microsite on the Xiaomi India website, which shows some key highlights of the phone, such as the crystal glass design, triple camera layout, and silver colour option.

The timing of the launch isn’t very surprising considering the handset’s MIUI build (for India) was recently spotted on the server.

Xiaomi is all set to welcome the new Redmi 12 in India and this will happen next month. This is a 4G smartphone and has already been launched globally with a glass-back design, a 90Hz display, and much more.

Redmi 12 is set to launch in India on August 1st. The handset should be available via Mi.com, Mi Home stores, and probably on Amazon.

Xiaomi has announced that the Redmi 12 will launch in India on August 1 after teasing the device for a while. The company has also given us a look at its design, which is reminiscent of a Pro iPhone model.

There are three camera housings arranged individually on a crystal glass-made back panel and flat edges too.

The Redmi 12 is shown in a silver color and we can expect some options too. While the front hasn’t been revealed, you can expect a punch-hole screen.  Given the global availability, the phone could have a 6.79-inch Full HD+ display with an adaptive 90Hz refresh rate.

Under the hood, you can expect a MediaTek Helio G88 chipset, along with support for up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The camera department will include a 50MP main snapper, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro camera, along with an 8MP selfie shooter.

The Redmi 12 will be backed by a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging, which isn’t too fast. Other details to expect are Android 13-based MIUI 14, an IP53 rating for water and dust resistance, NFC support, a side-mounted fingerprint reader, AI-based Face Unlock, and more.

While the spec sheet details are already known, the Indian pricing is still under wraps. Although, the Redmi 12 could start at under Rs 15,000.

At the time of its global launch, the Redmi 12 specs were unveiled in a detailed landing page by the company. The phone launched in India is expected to have similar specs, with slight differences (if any).

Talking of the specs unveiled during the global launch, the Redmi 12 has a large 6.79-inch display with a 90 Hz refresh rate, promising a smooth experience for users.

The phone is 168.60 mm wide and 76.28 mm thick. It weighs around 198.5 grams.

The phone offers a 1080 x 2460 (FHD+) resolution and a pixel density of 396 pixels per inch (ppi).

The Redmi 12 also has a 1500:1 contrast ratio along with up to 550 nits of peak brightness. Powering the Redmi 12 is the MediaTek Helio G88 processor.

The phone is available in three colours, Polar Silver, Midnight Black and Sky Blue. In addition to this, the phone has three storage variants as well- 4GB RAM+128GB storage, 8 GB RAM +128 GB storage and 8GB RAM + 256 GB storage variant.

The phone is also said to support expandable storage up to 1TB.

Talking about the camera, the phone sports a triple camera setup with 50-Megapixel primary camera paired with 8-megapixel and 2-megapixel cameras. There is also a macro camera and an 8-megapixel front camera.

Out of the box, the phone will be running on Android 13. Furthermore, a 5000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support powers the device.

Coming to the expected price of the device, the phone might be available for around Rs 15,000 in India.  At the time of its global launch, the 4G phone’s 8GB RAM variant was launched at a price of TBH 5,299 (roughly Rs 12,400) in Thailand.
