Xiaomi is reportedly developing its first clamshell smartphone, the Xiaomi MIX Flip, set to launch in 2024.
This news follows the company’s recent introduction of the Xiaomi MIX Fold 3 and the Redmi K60 Ultra in China in August 2023.
Additionally, Xiaomi has announced plans to unveil the Redmi K70 series shortly in the same market.
The anticipated Xiaomi MIX Flip is expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, Qualcomm’s flagship chipset for 2022.
Xiaomi President Le Weibing has indicated that this chipset, predicted to be as popular as the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC, will also power the upcoming Redmi K70.
Alongside the MIX Flip, Xiaomi is planning to release a tablet and another small foldable device, both powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC.
