Xiaomi India awarded ISO certification for offline distribution

Smartphone and smart TV brand Xiaomi India today received ISO 9001:2015 certification for their distributor selection and onboarding process for offline distribution. An end-to-end digital exercise, this process involves a 7-layer evaluation technique for onboarding a distribution partner along with a 5-I framework that focuses on Intent, Investment, Infrastructure, Involvement & Influence.

Today, Xiaomi India has the single largest offline exclusive brand presence in the country. Through this step, the brands aims to reinforce its position as the leading player in the industry with 350+ distribution partners spread across 679 districts in India. The certification will help both the brand and partners in enhancing customer experience, streamlining process, aid effective partner lifecycle management etc. all of which will result in greater partner satisfaction and growth.

Oppo Enco Air 2 Pro’s expected specifications tipped ahead of launch on April 12

Oppo, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer is expected to launch Enco Air 2 Pro on April 12 along with the launch of Oppo F21 Pro smartphone. Oppo Enco Air 2 Pro- the true wireless earbuds is expected to carry similar design of its predecessor Oppo Enco Air 2 that was launched recently.

It is rumoured that the new premium TWS earbuds Oppo Enco Air 2 Pro will be available in White and Grey colours. According to tipster Mukul Sharma OPPO Enco Air 2 Pro will have a smiling curve design, which allows 77% of the earbuds to be seen when the cover is opened.

The upcoming Oppo Enco Air 2 Pro is rumoured to have features such as gesture controls, enco live bass tuning dual-device fast switching and quick pairing.

Oppo’s upcoming TWS earbuds are rumoured to offer a max usage of 20 hours with ANC turned on. You may get additional 8 hours of usage when noise cancellation is turned off.

The charging case is said to have a 440 mAh battery pack which juices up each of the 43 mAh batteries in the earbuds. Charging up the buds is hinted to take 1.5 hours but could take up to hours to charge them with the case.

OPPO Enco Air 2 Pro is rumoured to have a 12.4mm titanized diaphragm driver which is smaller than the 13.4mm driver that comes on the Enco Air 2. For better connectivity, the OPPO Enco Air 2 Pro is likely to be equipped with Bluetooth 5.2.

Touch-sensitive sensor for playback controls, opening either Siri or Google Assistant and answering calls handsfree are other standard features of the Oppo Enco Air 2 Pro.

Sharma has also shared update about the OPPO F21 Pro 5G. According to him, he color Dual Orbit light on the OPPO F21 Pro 5G will be different for each color variant of the device.

Samsung debuted the new Galaxy A73 5G in India earlier this week. The phone is powered by Android 12 with the One UI 4.1 skin on top. It comes with a 6.7-inch full-HD+ Infinity-O Super AMOLED+ display with an 800-nit peak brightness and a 120Hz refresh rate. Corning Gorilla Glass 5 is also used to protect the display. Flipkart to deliver medicines across India with its newly introduced Health+ app

Flipkart Health+, India’s homegrown Flipkart Group’s digital healthcare marketplace platform, has launched the Flipkart Health+ app. Users will be able to get genuine pharmaceuticals and healthcare supplies from independent sellers using the app, which hopes to service customers in 20,000 Indian pin codes.

To begin with, Flipkart Health+ will first connect over 500 independent sellers with a network of registered pharmacists to validate medical prescriptions and accurately dispense pharmaceuticals, according to a statement from the company.

Prashant Jhaveri, CEO of Flipkart Health+, stated that since the COVID-19 pandemic, Indians have seen a huge shift in favour of wellness and preventative healthcare, and there is a greater focus on health and wellbeing than ever before.

“Since the COVID-19 pandemic, Indians have witnessed a tremendous shift in favoring wellness and preventative healthcare and there is an increased focus on health and wellness, like never before. Through Flipkart Health+, we aim to solve the critical gap of accessibility to genuine medicines and healthcare products and services across the country, especially in the remotest parts of the country that have been underserved until now,” Prashant Jhaveri, Chief Executive Officer, Flipkart Health+, said.

The app, with its powerful technology and logistics infrastructure, will offer access to pharmaceuticals and healthcare products and services for a variety of health issues, including acute and chronic illnesses, in accordance with regulatory framework, to more customers across India, especially in remote locations that have traditionally remained underserved, it said.

Flipkart Health+ is partnering with SastaSundar’s healthcare network across the country. SastaSundar.com is now redirecting users to the Flipkart Health+ homepage. In the next months, the company hopes to onboard third-party healthcare service providers to provide customers with additional healthcare services such as teleconsultation and e-diagnostics. For Android users, the Flipkart Health+ app is available on Google Play. The company says customers can expect the Flipkart Health+ app to be available on iOS soon, according to the company.

India’s electronic goods export gets doubled in last five year from 2016-17

India’s exports of electronic goods has doubled in the last five year. According to the data shared by the Ministry of Electronics & IT, India has exported electronics goods worth Rs 81,948 in 2020-21 as compared to Rs 39,980 in 2016-17.

In addition to export, production of electronic goods have also increased in India the last five year.   Thanks to the government schemes and incentive for large investments in the electronics value chain, India has produced electronic goods worth Rs 5,54,461 crore in 2020-21 as compared to Rs 3,17,331 crore.

Google Docs to allow you to use emoji reactions

Following the footstep of popular apps such as Instagram, Messenger, iMessage and other, Google has announced to introduce emoji reactions feature.

The new feature will be available to all Google Workspace customers, as well as legacy G Suite Basic and Business customers, and users with personal Google Accounts in the coming weeks.

The move is aimed to provide a less formal alternative to comments to express your opinions about document content, Google Docs will soon add new emoji reactions feature.

After the addition of the emojis, users will be able to use emojis with options to accurately reflect your identity. Currently, you can add only comment to any document.

To offer host of options to its users, emoji set is updated to the latest version- Emoji 14.0. Google will also provide gender-neutral options for gender-modifiable emojis.

According to the update shared by the Google in a blogpost, emoji button will appear on the top right side of the document after selecting a word or a passage on the document. By clicking on the icon, users will be able to see the emoji picker with a search bar and a separate section for frequently used emojis.

The new feature will be ON by default and cannot be disabled by the user. To access reactions in Docs, hover over any message or an existing anchor and click on the “Add reaction” icon. Additionally, emoji preferences are shared with Google Chat, so any preferences set in one app will be reflected in the other. Both apps can be used to update emoji preferences via the picker.

Chinese smartphone maker Realme is all set to release two phones in the Indian market tomorrow. The smartphone company will unveil Realme GT2 Pro and Realme 9 on April 7 at 12.30 pm. Claimed as world’s first sustainable design, GT2 Pro offers greater display.

Realme GT 2 Pro specifications

Realme GT 2 Pro sports a 6.7-inch WQHD+ display which supports 1440×3216 pixels resolution. With 2 K super reality display, Realme GT2 Pro is powered by LPTO 2.0 with adaptive refresh rates between 1Hz and 120Hz and 50% higher power efficiency.

Realme GT 2 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB of storage. The phone has a 5000mAh battery that supports 65W fast charging.

Talking about the optics, with a 50-megapixel wide sensor with OIS, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor and a 3-megapixel microscope sensor, Realme GT 2 Pro has a triple rear camera setup. The front of the phone gets a 32-megapixel camera to help selfie lovers and for video calling.
