* Instagram has introduced new features, including the ability to reply to post or story with a GIF. * Another feature, Quiet Mode, will silence notifications so you can work distraction-free. * Parents can now keep tabs on their kid’s privacy and account settings.
Instagram has introduced a new feature that allows users to comment on stories and posts with GIFs. The GIFs that will be used to reply will be pulled from GIPHY.
Currently, Instagram users are already able to post GIF-animated stickers to their stories. In addition to the GIF feature, Instagram has added some more features that offer better control over the app. These include the ‘Quite mode’, the ‘Not interested’ button and others.
To reply with a GIF, users have to type the keyword of the GIF they’re searching for in the ‘Send Message’ or comment box and then tap the GIF icon that appears. A series of GIFs from GIPHY’slibrary will be presented to users based on the search phrase. The feature is being rolled out in phases and should be available to all shortly.
How to Reply or Comment With GIFs on Instagram Posts
It seems that Instagram wants users to be a little more lively in the comment sections. And even though you can not use pictures (yet), it is now possible to use GIFs. In fact, replying with GIFs is not a new thing for the social platform. But you could only do that for stories.
So, how do you comment or reply with GIFs on Instagram posts? Well, first of all, you need to be on the latest version of the app.
Once you have updated your Instagram app, get to a post’s comment box. On there, the new UI will show you a ‘GIF’ option. When pressed, you will be presented with some predefined GIFs and a search bar.
In the search bar, you can type a keyword to find a particular GIF. Or, you can just simply tap on the suggested GIFs. And that will be pretty much it. The process is as simple as commenting with GIFs on Facebook.
SOME CAN COMMENT GIFS ON INSTAGRAM
On Thursday (February 16), Instagram users began taking to Twitter report they could not comment GIFs on posts.
The new feature hasn’t been officially announced by the platform yet, which suggests it could be a test feature right now.
When Instagram changes the app,it often tests the new idea with a select number of accounts to see if it will be popular with users.
If adding GIFs in comments proves to be a success, the platform could roll it out as an official feature for all users across the world.
HITC and GRV Media have reached out to Instagram for confirmation of the new feature.
REPLY TO INSTAGRAM STORIES AND DMS WITH GIFS
Replying with GIFs in comments is new, but you’ve actually been able to respond to Instagram Stories and DMs with the videos for a while now.
Find an Instagram Story & click the search bar. Then, press the GIF button on the right-hand side and find a GIF you want to send.Be aware that as soon as you tap on the GIF it will automatically send, so be very careful what you click on.
It will then appear in their DMs.If you accidentally send a GIF, you can quickly delete it by heading to the DMs section. Simply find the GIF, hold down on it, and tap ‘Unsend’.
To send a GIF in a Dm ,the + icon on the right-hand side of the search bar, tap GIF, and follow the same process.

Quite a mode will be open to all users but teens will be prompted to use this if they are found to be spending too much time on the app, especially during the night. This feature will be available to users in the US, UK, Ireland, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.
Not interested: Instagram has rolled out yet another useful feature, dubbed ‘Not Interested’. As the name suggests users can tell that they are interested in the posts on the Explore page.

To hide the recommended posts, users need to head to the “Hidden Words” section within the Privacy settings and then enter the word, emoji, or hashtag they do not want on their feed.

* The Xiaomi Pad 6 will seemingly get a Xiaomi 12 Pro-like camera module. * It also appears to come with a unibody tablet design language. * The ‘Pro’ version of the Pad 6 tablet could feature Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. * The Xiaomi Pad 6 is expected to come in three variants – and will succeed last year’s Pad 5.
The Mi Pad 5 series has been a popular choice among tablet enthusiasts, and it has been a while since its release. Therefore, it is expected that Xiaomiwill release the Pad 6 soon.
Recent leaks suggest that the new device will be launched in the second quarter of this year and could make its debut at the MWC 2023 conference.
As the launch date approaches, some bloggers have leaked images of the real Xiaomi Pad 6, giving us a glimpse of what the tablet could look like.
China-headquartered electronics conglomerate Xiaomi is expected to launch a new tablet in the coming months, following up on the Pad 5 lineup that was initially unveiled in China back in August 2021.
While plenty of leaks and rumours about these tablets have surfaced online, most have alluded to the specifications that the new tablet lineup would offer.
Now, a leaked live image of the tablet’s rear panel has surfaced from the supply chain in China on social media platform Weibo, showcasing how it looks similar to the rear camera module seen on the brand’s flagship smartphone, the Xiaomi 12 Pro.
Xiaomi Pad 6: What We Know So Far About the Upcoming Tablet from Xiaomi
According to the leaked images, the Xiaomi Pad 6 will come in a silver color that is commonly used in notebooks.
The tablet’s rear camera module is similar to the Xiaomi 12, which suggests that it could be equipped with three cameras.
The top camera is the largest, while the other two are smaller and almost the same size. These leaked images seem to be credible, and they provide a good idea of the tablet’s appearance.
According to the live image, which was first reported by China-based news publication CNMO, the Xiaomi Pad 6 lineup appears to feature the same camera module design as the Xiaomi 12 Pro.
This typically helps brands create a marketing campaign by giving the tablet the same design elements as that of its flagship smartphones – and also enables it to save design and assembly cost as it enables utilisation of more similar assembly components, a factor that has a trickle-down effect on the cost of a device.
The Xiaomi Pad 6 camera appears to thus host the primary camera module at the top, and has lines that cleanly divide the rest of the components of the module. There is a second camera unit, details of which are not known yet.
There is also a third unit that is likely just a design addition for symmetry, and a third segment within the module for accommodating the LED flash.
In terms of specifications, the Pad 6 is rumored to feature an 11-12 inch full-screen display with a resolution of 2880×1800p and a 120Hz/144Hz refresh rate. The display will support Dolby Vision and HDR10+, providing an excellent visual experience for users. The tablet will also feature a 10,000mAh dual-cell battery that supports 67W fast charging, ensuring that users can quickly recharge their devices when they need to.
The leaked image is said to belong to the standard Xiaomi Pad 6 tablet, and not its Pro models, which would therefore make for an upgrade to the lineup — but the Pad 5 launched in 2021, had a single 13MP rear camera, while the Pad 5 Pro and 5 Pro 5G had dual-rear camera modules of 13MP + 5MP and 50MP + 5MP, respectively. More details, however, are yet to be seen.
Under the hood, the Pad 6 is rumored to be powered by the SM8250AC+SM8475+12GB+512GB configuration.
The Xiaomi Pad 6 is expected to be launched globally later this year, and feature the Snapdragon 870 SoC on the standard Pad 6, and the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC on the Pad 6 Pro.
Other features include quad speakers, 120Hz display and 120W fast charging, among others.
While we cannot confirm the accuracy of these leaks, they do provide a good idea of what the tablet could look like and what features it may include. If the tablet does make its debut at the MWC 2023 conference, we will likely have more information about it, and we can’t wait to see what Xiaomi has in store for us.

FAQ’s on Xiaomi Pad 6
1) When will the Xiaomi Pad 6 be released?
Ans) The Pad 5 first announced in China in August 2021, going on sale in the rest of the world later in early 2022.
That means it’s been more than a year since the Pad 5, and so in some ways the Pad 6 already feels overdue.
The next plausible opportunity for a launch is the MWC 2023 tradeshow at the end of February, where Xiaomi has already confirmed it will have a booth – but will it launch products too?
As with most Xiaomi products, we wouldn’t expect to see it available in the US, and if the previous generation is any guide then the Pro model may stay China-only, with only the regular Pad 6 making it overseas.
2) How much will the Xiaomi Pad 6 cost?
Ans) There’s no confirmation on an official price for the Pad 6 yet, so we need to look at how much the previous generation cost to give us some idea. Here’s the prices for the Xiaomi Pad 5:
* Xiaomi Pad 5 6GB/128GB – £369/€349/₹26,999
* Xiaomi Pad 5 6GB/256GB – €399/₹28,999
Prices are already quite competitive against the 10.2in iPad against which it directly competes.
Because of that, we’d expect to see them stay pretty much the same when the Xiaomi Pad 6 arrives.
3) What specs and features will we see in the Xiaomi Pad 6?
Ans) We’re only beginning to see the first leaks about the Pad 6 series, which is expected to include the Xiaomi Pad 6 and Pad 6 Pro.
The best information from XiaomiUi was the code hinting at both of these tablets, with the code names ‘pipa’ and ‘liuqin’ respectively.
According to the code dive, the regular Xiaomi Pad 6 will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870, the natural step up from the 860 in its predecessor.
The Pad 6 Pro will be more powerful, using the flagship Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 chip.
The code details more specs here too, including a 1880×2880 120Hz AMOLED display, quad stereo speakers, and a dual rear camera setup that will apparently consist of a main camera and a depth sensor.
The two tablets will use the Snapdragon 870 and 8+ Gen 1 respectively, adding that the Pro will go as high as 12GB of RAM and 512GB storage.
He disagrees slightly on the screens though, predicting that both tablets will use similar 11in displays with a resolution of 1800×2880 – similar to that above, but not exactly the same – adding that while the Pad 6 will use a 120Hz refresh rate, the Pro will be faster at 144Hz.
Interestingly he also adds that both tablets will feature fingerprint scanners – which weren’t featured on last year’s models – and will have the same 67W wired charging.
In the Xiaomi Pad 5 review, one of the few hardware improvements we thought were necessary came in the area of connectivity. First up, there is no LTE version available, which can be a problem if you find yourself out of Wi-Fi range.
So, we’d hope for at least a 4G model on the Pad 6 if 5G capabilities are still too expensive to hit those low price points. Wi-Fi 6 would also be nice, although it’s not really that pressing as most people still don’t have compatible routers at home.
While Xiaomi offers two storage variants on the Pad 5 – 128GB and 256GB – both come with 6GB of RAM. Admittedly, this isn’t too bad, but we’d be much happier to see 8GB in the Pad 6, especially if the expected Android 12L system that’s optimised for tablets arrives this year.

* The iPhone 15 series will launch later this year. * The renders of the iPhone 15 Pro model have been leaked way ahead of the official release. * The renders suggest that the iPhone 15 Pro will feature thinner bezels and a USB Type-C charging port.
AppleLaunched its Latest iPhone 14 Series in September 2022. Just like last year, the Cupertino-based tech giant is expected to introduce the next generation of its smartphones, the iPhone 15 lineup in the second half of 2023.
However, the rumour mill about the iPhone 15 lineup is up and running and has also been churning out new speculations regularly.
The latest rumour comes in a form of a leaked image which is expected to offer the first glimpse at the anticipated iPhone 15 Pro model.
According to a report by 9to5Mac, exclusive renders of the upcoming iPhone 15 Prowhich are based on a CAD model have been leaked online.
The render has been shared by case manufacturer and 3D Artist Ian Zelbo.
The report suggests that the leaked images reveal some notable changes to the design and features of Apple’supcoming flagship smartphone.
The iPhone 15 series of smartphones has a long way to go before it officially launches, but the leaks and rumours surrounding the devices have already started flooding the internet.
In a recent turn of events, the renders of the iPhone 15 Pro model have surfaced, which give us a working clue as to what the device might look like.
There are also rumours that Apple might launch the iPhone 15 Ultra as well. Now, let’s get back to the leaked renders.
iPhone 15 Pro Design Leaked
As seen in the leaked render images above (posted exclusively by 9tomac), this is what the iPhone 15 Pro might look like.
The CAD renders are based on the information shared by Apple to factories in Asia to prepare phone cases ahead of launch, so that there’s no shortage of compatible cases at the time of launch.
The most notable change that one can notice is the removal of Apple’s iconic Lightning port and the addition of a new USB-C port.
Before you get your hopes too high, this USB Type-C port might come with its own set of limitations. To know more about the iPhone 15 series’ alleged USB Type-C port limitations and restrictions, you can head to our previous coverage for the same.
Moving on, the renders suggest that the iPhone 15 Pro will feature much thinner bezels when compared to its predecessor. We expect the same to happen with the rest of the devices in the iPhone 15 lineup.
Plus, another notable change is the curvature of the edges. The glass seems to have curved slightly around the edges, which could potentially ensure a more seamless transition to the frame.
The camera bump is also slightly thicker than before, which could mean that the iPhone 15 Pro would feature an upgraded camera setup.
Another interesting thing worth noting in the renders is the power button and volume up and down buttons, which look more like capacitive buttons and not physical buttons.
This should not come as a surprise to any, given that the same rumour has already popped up in the past.
Lastly, the iPhone 15 Pro is said to be a few mm smaller than the iPhone 14 Pro, owing to the thinner bezel.
What are CAD Files
These leaked renders are based on CAD files which are provided by Apple. The company shares such files with factories in Asiato prepare phone cases before the phone’s launch. This practice is done to ensure that when the device launches, the cases become available.
The iPhone 15 Pro leaked render CAD has reportedly arrived from a factory out of China.
As per the report, this factory also seems to be the first to get these files. Previous CAD files have also been accurate to the final device in terms of both dimensions and design.
As inaccurate CADs will be costly for the case designers and factories.
iPhone 15 Pro: Expected Changes
The leaked renders reveal that Apple will switch from the Lightning port to USB-C. This will mark the departure of Apple’s proprietary connector that has been used on iPhonesand other Apple products for a long time.
However, the company is reportedly planning to limit the cables to the ones approved by Apple’s MFi program for data transfer speeds and charging speeds.
As per the images, the curvature of the edges on both the glass and the metal frame has also changed. In iPhone 15 Pro, the glass will curve slightly around the edges to create a more seamless transition to the frame.
The report claims that the frame will also be more curved than before and will be similar to the design of the 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Prosor the new M2 MacBook Air. This new design is expected to make the phone more comfortable to hold and less prone to accidental touches.
The rear camera bump also seems to be thicker compared to its predecessor. This might indicate that Apple may have added new sensors or lenses to upgrade the camera system.
However, the company has kept the camera layout similar to the iPhone 14 Pro. The upcoming iPhone 15 Pro will also have three lenses and a LiDAR scanner arranged in a square module.
The camera lenses also seemed thicker in the latest renders which likely suggests larger image sensors.
Apple has also reportedly made some changes to the volume buttons and the mute switch on the side of the phone. Instead of physical buttons, the volume rockers now look like capacitive buttons, which was already rumoured.
The company also may have redesigned the mute switch with a smaller and rounder shape button which looks similar to that of the capacitive buttons.
The leaked renders also show the phone with a thinner bezel and it is expected to sport the same 6.1-inch display in a slightly smaller body.
Dynamic Island is also present in the leaked images and looks to be about the same size as the iPhone 14 Pro.
Despite an outlandish moniker, ShrimpApp lePro has established an impressive track record and was the first leaker to reveal the new pill-shaped cutout in iPhone 14 Pro models last year.
The pill cutout ultimately replaced the notch and resulted in the Dynamic Island. Apple is expected to make more substantial changes to the iPhone 15 range following underwhelming sales of standard iPhone 14 models. However, that may come at the cost of higher prices.
1) What are some of the new features expected in the iPhone 15 series?
Ans) Although there is no official confirmation year, iPhone 15 series will most likely have a faster A17 Bionic processor, better build quality, solid state buttons instead of the regular volume rockers and bigger RAM for optimum multitasking.
2) What is the expected price of the iPhone 15 Pro Max model?
Ans) The iPhone’s top-end model with at least up to 1TB internal storage might cost somewhere around $1,799 (which is approx. Rs 1,48,000).
3) Will iPhone 15 Pro have a more premium design?
Ans) Yes, the iPhone 15 Pro series is likely to feature a titanium mid-frame, which will make it look more premium and will also bring down the weight of the device by a couple of grams.
4) Which processor will power the iPhone 15 series?
Ans) The iPhone 15 and the 15 Plus are likely to be powered by the A16 Bionic while the iPhone 15 Pro series will make use of the new A17 Bionic processor, which is also said to be the first processor from Apple to be fabbed using TSMC’s 3nm manufacturing process.
5) Will iPhone 15 Pro offer Dynamic Island?
Ans) yes , as of now, all four iPhone 15 models are said to feature Dynamic Island, including the entry-level iPhone 15 and the iPhone 15 Plus.
6) What camera features will the iPhone 15 series have?
Ans) The iPhone 15 and 15 Pro will have a dual-camera system while the iPhone Pro models feature an improved triple camera system with a periscope zoom lens.
7) Will iPhone 15 series have a lighting port or a USB Type-C port?
Ans) The iPhone 15 and the iPhone 15 Pro are said to feature a USB Type-C port for charging and data syncing.
8) What iOS version will the iPhone 15 have?
Ans) iPhone 15 series will ship with iOS 17 out-of-the-box which will be announced at the upcoming WWDC 2023.

5) How is the battery life of Vivo Y100?

6) How is the camera of Vivo Y100?
Ans) Vivo Y100 packs a 4500mAh battery under the hood. The battery lasts an entire day with moderate usage but drains out faster when long gaming sessions or content consumption sessions are done on the device. It comes with 44W Flash fast charging that charges the device from 0 to 100% in just under an hour which is good. The battery could have been bumped up to 5000mAh for sure, which is pretty standard nowadays.

7) How is the performance of Vivo Y100?
Ans) Vivo Y100 is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 900 chipset that is fast as well as efficient. The 6nm chipset allows a multitude of apps to open and load quickly and there are no lags when switching between different running apps. There is 8GB RAM and it did its part well as even 15-20 apps ran in the background smoothly without any slowing down or crashing.
The smartphone runs FunTouch OS 13 based on Android 13 and although the UI is user-friendly, colorful, and good-looking, there’s loads of pre-installed bloatware. Apps like Moj, Snapchat, Dailyhunt, Byjus, share chat, Josh, and Netflix are already loaded and you will have to remove those which you don’t want. For a device that costs above 20,000, bloatware should have been minimized.
Connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.2, WiFi, GPS, OTG, USB Type-C, and more, and the device is 5G capable. This is where it will earn more brownie points as many might prefer spending 25k on a 5G smartphone. It comes with a good quality speaker that supports Hi-Res audio and Dolby Atmos and the calling experience is decent as well.
