Chinese smartphone brands are said to be working on new tablets for China. Xiaomi and its sub-brand are expected to announce the Xiaomi Pad 6 Max and Redmi Pad 2 in the coming days. OPPO is also said to be working on the OPPO Pad Air for China.

Recent reports have also revealed that Vivo is also working on the Vivo Pad Air. It appears that the tablet may launch as early as next month (August) in China, as it has been approved by the country’s 3C certification platform.

Vivo is expected to launch a new tablet dubbed the Vivo Pad Air soon. This upcoming tablet from Vivo appeared on Google Play-supported devices last week.

The Google Play Supported devices list revealed the moniker and model number of the tablet ahead of launch.

In recent development, the Vivo Pad Air is spotted on China’s 3C certification website.
The 3C certification listing reveals the fast charging capability of the device ahead of its official debut.

The Vivo Pad Air is listed on the 3C certification website with model number PA2353. The 3C certification confirms that the Vivo Pad Air will support 44W fast charging.

Apart from these details, no other specification of the Vivo Pad Air is known as of now.
More information about Vivo Pad Air if it arrives on TENAA certification or benchmark listing in the coming days.

Additionally, the launch timeline details of the Pad Air are yet to be revealed.
However, considering that it has received 3C approval, we can expect it to launch in the next couple of weeks in China.

The Vivo Pad Air will be the third tablet from Vivo, as the Chinese smartphone maker had earlier announced the Vivo Pad and the Vivo Pad 2. The prior was introduced by Vivo back in April 2022, whereas the latter marked its debut last year in April.

The first tablet from Vivo features an 11-inch display with a 2560 x 1600 pixel resolution. Under the hood, it is powered by a Snapdragon 870 processor—the Vivo Pad ships with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.

As for the software, it runs Android 11 out of the box. The tablet features a 13MP dual-camera setup and an 8MP selfie camera. It packs an 8,040mAh battery, which supports 44W fast charging.

On the other hand, the Vivo Pad 2 boasts a 12.1-inch IPS LCD display with a 1968 x 2800 pixels resolution. The tablet has up to 144Hz refresh rate, 600 nits brightness, 284 PPI pixel density, and HDR10 support.

Powering Pad 2 under the hood, there is an octa-core 6nm Dimensity 9000 SoC. It packs up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage.

The other key features that the Pad 2 offer includes a 13MP dual-camera setup, an 8MP selfie camera, stereo speakers, a 10,000mAh battery, 44W wired fast charging, and 5W wireless charging support.
