The movie’s star cast is spearheaded by Shah Rukh Khan in the title role where he plays a RAW field agent, Deepika Padukone, John Abraham in the role of Jim, Dimple Kapadia, and the inimitable Ashutosh Rana, who plays Colonel Sunil Luthra, and lastly, Salman Khan will be making a cameo appearance.

Vishal-Shekhar have composed the music for the film, which has received mixed reviews among the general public, along with a lot of controversy regarding some of its songs, which have been massively trolled on social media.

Pathaan Controversy

While there is a major hype surrounding Pathaan, the movie has also been in news for the wrong reasons regarding its song, Besharam Rang, as many citizens and central government officials were deeply offended by Deepika Padukone wearing a saffron colour bikini.

Many right wing Hindu groups felt that that the saffron coloured bikini hurt Hindu sensibilities due to which many fans expressed their outrage on social media and asked for a boycott of the movie, which remains to be seen as to how successful it would be.
