5 best alternatives to Garena Free Fire you can choose to play

0

Garena Free Fire is a high-octane survival shooter game. Each 10-minute game pits you against 49 other players on a deserted island who are all fighting to survive and stay alive. Players can easily choose their starting point with their parachute, and the aim is to stay in the safe zone for as long as possible. Explore the large map by driving cars, hiding in the woods, or proning behind grass or rifts to become invisible. Ambush, snipe, or simply survive; there is only one objective: to live and respond to the call of duty.

However, due to China government’s unacceptable behaviour, many countries are boycotting Chinese products and even banning Chinese apps. The Indian government too has recently banned 54 Chinese-made apps with malicious intent against India’s security, and Garena Free Fire is one of them. Due to Garena’s absence, Krafton and its developed games PUBG and BGMI, which are only available in India, have gained an advantage. The battle royale game PUBG was also banned in India in 2020, prompting its Chinese partner Tencent to move out and South Korean company Krafton to bring BGMI to Indian users.

Alternatives to Garena Free Fire (2022)

The ban on the Garena Free Fire came as a shock to the country’s growing user base. After PUBG Mobile India, it is the second most popular online game to be banned in India. Krafton also blamed Garena of lifting the theme of its popular game PUBG. Here are the five alternatives gamers can choose in the absence of Garena Free Fire in India:

  1. Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI)
  2. New State Mobile (PUBG New State)
  3. Call of Duty
  4. ScarFall – The Royale Combat
  5. Fortnite

Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI)

In July 2021, South Korean developer Krafton released Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI), a rebranded version of PUBG Mobile. Tencent, China’s largest gaming company, has not supported the app. Krafton, a South Korean-based company, created and manages it. BGMI adds some minor changes to the gameplay while retaining the core battle royale action of PUBG.

Battlegrounds Mobile India

The game places 100 players on a map and challenges them to fight for their lives. Erangel, Sanhok, Miramar, Karakin, and Livik are among the maps available in BGMI, as are modes such as Classic, Arcade, EvoGround, and Arena. It also receives exclusive events with well-known IPs, such as the recent Spider-Man: No Way Home crossover.

New State Mobile (PUBG New State)

Krafton changed the name of PUBG New State and relaunched it as New State Mobile in India. The multi-player game is quite similar to Garena where 64 players can involve in battle to win. Set in the year 2051, the game comes with maps like Troi and Erangel. The battle royale experience is very similar to PUBG Mobile, with some new additions such as electric vehicles and drone shops.

New State Mobile

Also, New State Mobile comes with modes like Team Round Deathmatch, Deathmatch, and BR: Extreme. As per the dev team, the New State Mobile will get a lot of new content this year. After ban on PUBG Mobile India, it is the second game released by Krafton that has over 10,000,000 installs.

Call of Duty

Call of Duty is gaining popularity among Indian gamers, with 100 players able to engage in combat at the same time. It is first-person shooter video game franchise published by Activision. With a focus on World War II-themed games, the Call of Duty began in 2003.

Call of Duty

The series has seen games set during the futuristic worlds, Cold War, and outer space. Infinity Ward created the games first, followed by Treyarch and Sledgehammer Games. Call of Duty: Vanguard, the most recent title, was released on November 5, 2021. The multi-player game has received over 100 million downloads to date. It has over 100,000,000 downloads.

ScarFall – The Royale Combat

ScarFall is another viable option for gamers looking for an alternative to Free Fire. The former has underwhelming graphics, but it runs smoothly on most low-end devices, whereas the latter does not. Because both games use a similar battle royale match setting, banned users can still enjoy the shooter gaming experience with ScarFall.

ScarFall-The-Royale-Combat

However, if game physics are important to them, they should look for other titles. Furthermore, there is no reason to download ScarFall on iOS devices when there are several superior options available in the App Store. It has over 5,000,000 downloads.

Fortnite

Fortnite is one of the most popular battle royale games in the world, and it supports cross-platform play on mobile, consoles, and PC. The game, created by American developer Epic Games, places 100 players on the evolving Island map, where players search for weapons and other items to survive while defeating their opponents.

Fortnite

Fortnite frequently collaborates with popular film, television, and anime franchises to bring new storylines, modes, and cosmetics to the game. Along with these, Epic Games hosts free movie screenings, virtual concerts, and massive community events in Fortnite. That being said, Fortnite is only available on Android through sideloading as Epic has ongoing lawsuits with Apple and Google.

If you miss playing Free Fire and are looking for similar games to play in your spare time, you’ve come to the correct place. The above mentioned is the greatest Free Fire alternatives for Android and iOS that you may play now and in the future as well. These alternatives are the finest battle royale mobile games with similar features, collaborations, and a diverse range of content to Garena Free Fire.

Jabra Evolve2 75 Review: Best for business and work from home

0
Jabra-Evolve2-75

We are going to take a look at the brand new Jabra Evolve2 75. Now these are fantastic headphones for those who are looking to have great call quality because you work from home or just spend a lot of time on phone and would like to have the best audio quality because hey, your business is on the phone. The Evolve2 75 not only are good for indoor but if you are going to be walking outside and you want to have something you can listen to music and also take great calls – well this is the headphone for you.

You can expect 11 levels of ANC and the Jabra Evolve2 75 has about eight mics and four of them are going to be used when you have that ANC, so it’s giving you the best audio experience. So let’s go and check them out and see how good they are.

What’s inside the box?

Jabra Evolve2 75 Unboxing

The Jabra Evolve2 75 comes with a nice carrying pouch that gives it a full protection and nice touch versus the competition as they only give carrying small bags. Inside that it does have a USB dongle that’s going to allow you to do a direct connection to your PC, to your tablet to whatever device it is and we wanted to highlight that even though it’s USB-A, you can’t have a USB converter and it does work. Then, it have your headset, Jabra Link 380 Bluetooth adapter, USB cable 1.2m, user documents, and desk stand. So this is the complete kit of what you can expect.

Design

Now focusing on the headphone itself! One of the things we think is the coolest is the fact that it has the mic that pops out. Now you have a lot of different mics that are going to give you a superior call experience.

You have got a lot of flexibility in the headband and have a nice memory foam leather type material – it’s an on-ear model. The earcup is ergonomically constructed with dual-foam technology and a redesigned pattern for increased airflow, making it extremely comfortable for an on-ear headset. Even after a long period of use, the headphones remain really comfortable, which is remarkable for on-ear headphones; the dual foam earcups must have done the trick.

Jabra Evolve2 75 headphone

The Evolve2 75 doesn’t overheat – it stays cool which is very important to me. And then what you have again on the bottom – you have some controls. The power switch on the left earcup of the Jabra Evolve2 75 initiates the Bluetooth connection search when pushed all the way down for a few seconds. You also have the HearThrough/ANC button, which switches between HearThrough and ANC settings.

Three buttons on the right earcup regulate volume, up and down, and the middle button controls play/pause. Answer or end calls or open a Microsoft Teams notifications with the button on the exterior front of the earcup. The microphone boom is also located on the right earcup, and when extended or retracted, it mutes or unmutes the microphone.

Sound Quality

When streaming music via Bluetooth and making phone calls, the sound quality is outstanding. Background noise was nearly completely removed, which is ideal for a hybrid working environment. These headphones not only look wonderful, but they also feel great. They’re also very well-made, which comes as no surprise given Jabra’s reputation.

The 40mm speakers give excellent sound quality when listening to music. The mids, lows, and highs are all in perfect harmony. With this headset, I’ve spent many hours listening to music and viewing YouTube videos. That’s how good it is.

The Evolve2 75 is the first Evolve headset with fully adjustable Jabra Advanced Active Noise Cancellation, so you can choose how much (or how little) of your surroundings you hear. It’s called HearThrough, and you can turn it on by pressing the button on the left headset’s bottom.

Now from a Bluetooth perspective – Bluetooth 5.2 – you do have multi-connect which means it’s going to allow you to connect to two devices at the same time and you can also pair up to eight devices at the same time. Now these do have on-head detection so when you put them on they know.

Microphone Quality

The 8 built-in microphones are ideal for video conferencing. Any extraneous noise is effectively isolated by the microphone. So, no matter where you are, you may speak normally without raising your voice.

Jabra Evolve2 75 Mic

There are two ways to use the microphone in this situation. The first is the performance mode, in which the boom-arm microphone is lowered. This is perfect for use in noisy environments. The second mode is the discreet mode, in which the microphone is tucked away. This one is for when you’re on the go and don’t want to look out of place. There is also a red busy light that is visible when you are on call.

Battery

Bluetooth headphones require a lot of battery life, especially if you use them all day on your commute and at work. With ANC turned off, the Jabra Evolve2 75 may last up to 25 hours of call time or 36 hours of music on a single charge.

Jabra Battery

The Jabra Evolve2 75 headphones work harder to filter out noise with ANC turned on, giving you around 18 hours of call time and 33 hours of music streaming. But fret not, because Jabra’s fast charge technology provides 4 hours of battery life in just 15 minutes of charging.

The lithium-ion battery lasts up to 33 hours (with ANC turned on) for music listening and 25 hours (with ANC turned off) for video playback. I’ve only had to fully charge it once in the last two weeks, when I first took it out of the box.

Conclusion

The Evove2 75 is exceptionally comfortable, offers outstanding audio quality, excellent microphone isolation, good Active Noise Cancellation, and can play music for 36 hours with ANC turned off and 33 hours with ANC turned on. The optional wireless charging station gives you 4 hours of battery life in just 15 minutes and is a great place to set the headphones while they charge.

Overall, the Jabra Evove2 75 has some good features that help it overcome its shortcomings. Despite this, I’ll continue to use the Evolve2 75 as my daily headset, and will give it a thumbs up for the same reason!

0

Netflix acquires Boss Fight Entertainment, what? Yes, it’s true. The video streaming giant has acquired a third game studio, Boss Fight Entertainment, through its video streaming service. The deal provides Netflix access to a larger range of game companies,  broadening the number of titles on which it can collaborate. It will pave the way for Netflix in creating its own mini-game store. Additionally, this is how Netflix will also get more titles available on Netflix Games.

Netflix acquires Boss Fight Entertainment

Netflix has made it clear that it is aggressively attempting to broaden its mobile gaming shop with this purchase. Amir Rahimi, the company’s Vice President of Game Studios also added that “We’re still in the early days of building great game experiences as part of your Netflix membership. Through partnerships with developers around the world, hiring top talent, and acquisitions like this, we hope to build a world-class games studio capable of bringing a wide variety of delightful and deeply engaging original games – with no ads or in-app purchases – to our hundreds of millions of members around the world.”

Netflix acquire boss fight

Netflix introduced three new mobile games to its portfolio earlier this month. It also raised the total number of games available through its mobile app to 17. This is a True Story, Shatter Remastered, and Into The Dead 2: Unleashed are among the most recent additions to the collection.

Moreover, when it added these titles to the list, Netflix also promised that it will make further gaming announcements before the end of the month. So, here it is with the acquisition of Boss Fight Entertainment. Netflix is now positioning itself as an alternative gaming shop with no commercials or in-app purchases on its platform.

Games on the service are included in existing subscription rates. Also, there are no separate game-only plans available at this time. Netflix has already said that it intends to provide unique mobile games on both the Android Play Store and the iOS App Store in the future.
