Oppo Find X9 Ultra Leaked Image.
The Oppo Find X9 Ultra is tipped to launch soon in China. Ahead of the launch, newly surfaced leaked images are shedding more light on the phone’s camera-focused upgrades. The latest leak mainly draws attention to a revised teleconverter accessory. Here’s all we know.
Oppo Find X9 Ultra May Debut with Larger Teleconverter Accessory
According to the leaked images (via Weibo), the Oppo Find X9 Ultra will support an updated external teleconverter that appears noticeably bigger than its predecessor. The handset is shown being tested outdoors with the accessory attached. It suggests Oppo is focusing on real-world photography performance ahead of launch.
Unlike the optional 3.28x teleconverter available for the Find X9 Pro, the new attachment is said to offer 4.28x optical magnification. This reportedly results in an effective focal length of around 300mm, making it more suitable for long-range photography.
The teleconverter itself looks more complex in design and is expected to include additional optical elements. It is tipped to work alongside a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto camera, enabling detailed optical zoom shots with reduced dependence on digital cropping.
Leaks suggest that Oppo will retain a dual periscope telephoto setup on the Find X9 Ultra. The primary periscope camera is said to be a 200-megapixel OmniVision OV52A sensor offering 3x optical zoom. This could be paired with a second 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera supporting up to 10x optical zoom.
The rest of the rear camera system is expected to include a 200-megapixel Sony LYT-901 main sensor, a 50-megapixel Samsung JN5 ultra-wide camera, and a dedicated multispectral sensor to improve colour accuracy. Both the main and telephoto cameras are tipped to feature optical image stabilisation. On the front, the phone may house a 50-megapixel selfie camera with autofocus.
Beyond photography, the Oppo Find X9 Ultra is rumoured to sport a 6.82-inch flat 2K AMOLED display, be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, and run ColorOS 16. It is also expected to offer full dust and water resistance, along with a battery larger than 7,000mAh that supports fast wired and wireless charging.
The Find X9 Ultra is expected to make its debut in China around March and could later be introduced in additional global markets.

Eligible users can access the promotion through the official link. Users in other countries can also check whether the offer is available in their respective regions.
Notably, the free trial is not limited to existing subscribers. It is also available to users who have never purchased a ChatGPT subscription before. Even users with an active ChatGPT Go plan can upgrade to Plus under this offer. However, Indian users who are currently on the 12-month free ChatGPT Go plan will not be able to revert to Go once the 30-day Plus trial ends.
To activate the trial, users are required to provide financial details such as credit card, net banking, or UPI information. Since the subscription carries an auto-renewal mandate, users who do not cancel before the trial period ends may be charged for the following month.
ChatGPT Plus typically costs Rs. 1,999 per month in India. The subscription includes priority access and higher usage limits for OpenAI’s latest AI models, Sora-powered video generation, expanded memory for improved context retention, and access to Codex for coding assistance.
For users in India, this marks the second major promotional move by the company, following the decision to make ChatGPT Go free for one year in November 2025.

Separately, OpenAI has also shared an update on its long-rumoured hardware ambitions. Speaking at Axios House Davos on Monday, OpenAI’s Chief Global Affairs Officer Chris Lehane said the company is “on track” to introduce its first device in the second half of 2026.
OpenAI CEO Sam Altman has previously hinted at a future AI-focused device after the company acquired former Apple design chief Jony Ive’s firm last May. However, no specific details about the product or its form factor have been officially disclosed so far.
Lehane declined to confirm whether the upcoming product would take the form of a pin, an earpiece, or another type of device altogether. He described “devices” as one of OpenAI’s major focus areas for 2026 and told Axios’ Ina Fried that more information would be shared “much later in the year.”
While Lehane did not guarantee that the device would go on sale in 2026, he said OpenAI was “looking at something in the latter part [of 2026].”

WhatsApp is developing group voice and video calls for its web version.
Users may soon generate shareable call links from group chats, simplifying participation and improving convenience across devices.
A new call scheduling feature will let users set names, descriptions, and times for calls, enhancing planning for both voice and video meetings.

WhatsApp is reportedly working on bringing group voice and video calling support to its web version. According to a new report, the feature is currently under development and is expected to offer functionality similar to what users already get on mobile apps and desktop clients.
Group Calling on WhatsApp Web Could Arrive Soon
As per a report by WABetainfo, WhatsApp appears to be focusing on improving the overall web experience to bring it closer to feature parity with other platforms. The addition of group voice and video calls would make WhatsApp Web more comparable to dedicated conferencing tools such as Zoom and Google Meet.

The report notes that WhatsApp may limit the number of participants to 32, similar to the mobile version. However, it is also suggested that the feature could initially roll out with a lower cap of 8 or 16 participants to ensure better stability.
At this point, the exact participant limit has not been confirmed by WhatsApp.
The aim of this update is said to be greater flexibility, especially for users who rely on shared systems or frequently switch between multiple devices. With group calling on the web, users would be able to stay connected and manage conversations more efficiently, regardless of the platform they are using.

Group calls on the web are also expected to be accompanied by additional features including the ability to create call links directly from group chats. This would allow users to generate shareable links that others can use to join a call, even if they are not currently active in the chat.
Such call links could simplify organising and joining group calls, particularly for larger groups, by removing the need for all participants to be present in the chat at the same time.
Call Scheduling Also In The Works
In addition to group calling and call links, WhatsApp is reportedly developing a call scheduling feature for both individual and group chats. This feature would allow users to set a call name, description, and approximate start and end times in advance.
According to the report, scheduling a call will not trigger it automatically. Instead, WhatsApp Web may create an event that can be shared with participants, ensuring everyone is informed ahead of time. Users may also be able to choose whether the scheduled call is for voice or video, making it easier to plan meetings or events in advance.
Launch Timeline
All of these features including group calling, call links, and call scheduling are still said to be under development. As of now, all we know is that these features could roll out in the near future. Although WhatsApp has not officially confirmed that these features are being worked on.
